This is the best thrift store for clothes that I've ever been to, and I'm an avid thrift store shopper. Reasonably priced as well, and they don't have junk clothes. The whole store is organized very well. It is so organized that it doesn't even really have that thrift store feel. Almost like a regular department store. I do wish they had more tools and electronics available. Those departments are a little skimpy for the size of the store. I've been going to this thrift store about twice a year for the last 9 or 10 years. The only other thrift store that is even close to this one is Family Thrift Center over on Wesleyan.

This is a very nice thrift store. Have been in here very many times over the years. Always have a wide variety of items Furniture mattresses clothes household goods records vintage I mean you'd be surprised of the array of items they have here. Just like any thrift store sometimes the pricing can be a little iffy. But have been in there many times me and my wife. Keep up the good work for thumbs up

One of the largest, well organized thrift stores we've every been to. So much to discover and treasure hunt through: Clothes, bedding, housewares. They have it all. I found Jerry Garcia and Beatles men's dress ties! Perfect and unexpected! Well worth the trip. Take some time for some well deserved shopping therapy.

Love the variety at this thrift store but the prices are very high. If you are sourcing for resell, this is not the place and is for keeps only. For example, all their scarves, regardless of material, are $3-4.99 a piece, not $1 like they should be, so watch out, those can add up fast. I also don’t see how anyone in need could afford anything there…just sayin.

**Clothing review, did not look at other areas** I just moved to the area and I wanted to check out some of the local thrift stores. Thrift Store USA was 1 of 3 I went to and it was probably the best one. The staff seemed to get along with each other and friendly with the customers. I was happy to see a large selection of Plus Size clothing and found many cute pieces in the section but left them for others since I'm not plus. I really appreciated how organized the clothing racks were. All color coordinated and by size. It helps me feel less overwhelmed because I skip sections that aren't my size or a color I wear. I usually thrift in Southern CA so I felt that the prices were just right and affordable. I found a few pieces here and excited to go back and see what else I can find.

Beautiful furniture and at good prices. There is always a crowd but on a holiday, you can hardly get a cart. I know why because of the bargains on clothes, shoes, housewares etc.

I love this place, but you guys need to use a different labeling system. The stickers are next to impossible to get off, and when I finally do get them off, I've damaged a really nice item. I noticed other reviews with the same issue. The adhesive is like super glue. Other than that, the prices are good and the employees are very nice and relaxed. 5 stars when labels get fixed.

This was my first time checking out this thrift store, and I wasn't particularly impressed with their selection of men's shirts (the only things I really paid attention to), especially short sleeve button down ones, which were sparse compared to the long sleeve shirts they had. The shirts that were there were organized by color, which was good, but I'd rather they had organized them by size, especially because it was difficult to even find the size on many of them. However, the prices in general were better than those of my preferred thrift store (up the street), so I will return here from time to time.

Excellent store with friendly staff, wide selections in each area, and clean store. I originally came to buy long John's/thermal wear for the winter and some beater clothes for painting and housework and was surprised with how nice the store was. That was two years ago. Keep an eye out for specials too. It pays to be thrifty.

They regularly have sales, for example all clothes 1/2 off to make room for new inventory. The staff changes frequently, but they’re always pretty kind. A bit unorganized depending on the time and day, but always some good finds from brick brick to clothing to books.

Best thrift store in Hampton roads in my opinion. I am an avid thrifter, and I have been to every thrift store in the 757, Thrift store USA is always my go to. They always have some amazing hidden gems, and a wonderful variety of goods that suits everyone's taste.

I’m not one to leave a review but I loveeeee how they sort everything by category then by size and color. Definitely saves a lot of time while your looking through stuff! They always good products rather it be clothes or furniture! I hate going to a thrift store where all the sizes are mixed up so you waste so much time looking at a bunch of stuff that your not even gonna buy. There prices are a lot lower than most store too! I love that I get some much for my money! Who doesn’t love a deal! This is by far the best store in Hampton roads.

This place is awesome. I just moved here from Ohio. I had no dress clothes because my previous job didn't require them. I found way more than I needed! I found 2 pairs of dress pants for less than $2 a piece!!! I can't find prices like that at Goodwill! I also found 2 pairs of shoes both under $10 a pair, with one pair being worn once and the other maybe a few times. My cashier was super friendly as well! I think her name was Erica. Definitely will be coming back!!

It looks big and shiny from the outside but on the inside everything was duplicates not easy to navigate. I guess it just has mediocre stuff and I wasn't interested in anything they had in stock. They have a lot of traffic compared to other stores but the big building allows space to walk around with social distancing. Thrifts store are all about scouring for the perfect fit and I know it's a process so this store doesn't have any negatives. However, I won't be going back anytime soon because it's too crowded and I don't think they'll have anything I would want to purchase.

This place used to be so much better. Obviously not a fan of the mask requirement being that I’m fully vaccinated. I’m not sure how closing the fitting rooms helps people who are buying all used items. On top of all of that their prices have risen significantly.

I admit that I have been to Thrift Store USA in Norfolk Virginia multiple times, one reason I feel comfortable/fine with admitting is because of the quality selection and bargain prices of the clothes and books available. My most recent visit I bought a couple pairs of jeans and t shirts (two men's size medium t shirts) . The cashier scanning my items was pleasant to talk to and interact with. This place also allows for donation items if you ever have a preference for donating any clothes.

A friend recommended this place to me a year ago when I moved down to Norfolk and I can honestly say this is one of my favorite thrift stores to go to! Practically furnished/ decorated my whole house on a budget here. Prices are very reasonable, staff is super friendly, and the quality of the items they get/ sell are very good! I’ve even got a few clothing items from here. 10/10 recommend, especially for decorating/ furnishing a living space.

Awesome stuff, huge selection, AND actual thrift store prices! Jikerra is a wonderful cashier. When I didn't have enough items for the $5 credit card minimum (again, everything is so cheap!!) she held the items for me while I went to find more. I was also impressed when she explained the policy of keeping most out-of-season items in warehouses so that the (already ginormous) store has even more relevant stuff. I can't wait to come back for one of those legendary seasonal clearance sales.

Absolutely LOVE this thrift store! The best prices (especially kid clothes) & the best finds, everytime! Favorite thrift store in hampton roads, hands down! I just wish the employees were explained the importance of price tag positioning though... Not sure if its because they're in a hurry when applying price stickers or if they're just sloppy & careless, but Ive had SO many things nearly ruined trying to cleanly remove the sloppily-placed sticker. Also, the adhesive on their price stickers is the strongest, most impossible to remove adhesive I had ever encountered. Examples include... Stickers placed DIRECTLY ON CANVAS ARTWORK...*ON THE ACTUAL PAINTED AREA* so removing it with alcohol or googone would ruin it & scratching it off leaves scrape marks... Stickers applied DIRECTLY FRONT AND CENTER on things that will get destroyed if alcohol or googone is used, and scraping it leaves traces of leftover visible adhesive. I mean really? WHY ARE YOU PUTTING A DIFFICULT-TO-REMOVE STICKER RIGHT ON THE FRONT OF THINGS? If the person is too lazy to flip it around/upside down to find the price, then they obviously aren't interested enough to be buying it in the first place. USE YOUR BRAINS THRIFT STORE USA EMPLOYEES! End rant LOL

I have been a customer of Thrift Store USA for several years. We call the store Charlie's for one of the managers there. I am usually quite happy to shop there however today August 19 2017 visit was not a good one. Filling my cart with all kinds of goodies I stop over in my favorite section which houses the China depression glass and things if that nature...when I see these beautiful cups and saucers...4 cups to be exact and 6 saucers. I comment on how beautiful they are and the tags says cup&saucers $34.00. I think it's too much and so I leave them. As I walk toward the area where the antiques are housed I see the matching teapot to the cups and saucers that I had seen before. Also there were 2 more matching cups all separately priced. I approached Charlie with which I thought was a simple problem to be addressed. It was clearly a set. He told me that some people like to buy the cups separately and teapot separately....when I pointed out to him that clearly the cups that I found separately priced made up for the 2 cups that were missing for the 6 saucers and 4 cups. So he would not admit the obvious mistake...said he could do nothing that's the way they price things which is not how they do things there. So I left all of what I was going to purchase right there. I know had I talked to anybody in the back they would have fixed that for me but he said that they were not there and that he was the manager.

This thrift store is unusually well organized. The employees obviously spend quite a bit of time making sure what you want is easy to find. The clothing is in good condition. There is also several pieces of furniture and numerous items for the kitchen. It is a modern building with glass walls and well lighted so it is easy to see the items. I can always find something I would like to have. Today there were six somethings. lol

Clothes are grouped by color, style, and gender and are clean and in good shape. Decent variety of all sorts of housewares, decorative items, furniture, odds and ends. Good deals are available and you might find that "just right" collectable or hard to find needed component or a keepsake to cherish. If it's your 1st visit, plan on staying awhile as a cavalcade of "got to check em out" items will catch your interest.

I traveled from Oklahoma to see family over Christmas and specifically wanted to seek out thrift stores to find 100% wool material that I use to make hooked rugs; wool is hard to find in the south/midwest as it just doesn't get that cold. My daughter and I went into this AWESOME store on Christmas Eve at 1:00 pm and they were getting ready to close at 2:00. We discovered a very organized (clothing was sorted by size, by color), clean, and easy to navigate store. They had an OUTSTANDING selection of quality furniture, especially solid wood "antiques"--items from the early 1900's that were in exceptionally good condition and had a special room for other antique items so they weren't just tossed in with the other "stuff". The staff, too, were exceptional, especially "Denzel" (?) who was entertaining customers over the intercom with his suggestions of what to do after purchasing any Christmas item for 25 cents. As we checked out, he was inquisitive as to what we planned to do with our purchases, asked questions about where we were from (Oklahoma) and made us laugh as we checked out.They had lots of great deals going on. Had I been in the market for quality antique furniture, I would have easily filled a pickup truck! I found lots of great 100% wool skirts. We will be back! Thanks!

I absolutely love going there but I must say now that a lot more of people caught on to this store they have went up on the prices... but I’ll still check with them first b4 I go somewhere else... but I definitely didn’t appreciate how I ask Charlie the store manager to look into marking down a dress that was 9.99 that stated New” but it was missing the whole right padding in the bra area clearly you can’t sell that full price when it’s clearly no padding in both for 9.99 but he told me someone else said no cuz it has new tags on it !! I said okay in left it there FYI. Charlie it’s okay to discount a item if you see clearly that’s it’s a issue with it!!!

Great prices on everything! If you think its expensive for a "thrift" store just do some comparison shopping and you will see the value you will be saving versus retail prices. Amazing inventory....great buys. There's even a RESTROOM that is fairly clean. The staff is OK but I am sure they are getting paid minimum wage and there's an interesting blend of shoppers so I'm sure that they are tested! Large parking lot.

One of the best thrift stores Hampton Roads has to offer. Largest thrift store I have been to. Great, diverse collection with generally fair prices. Nicely kept and staffed. They shine when it comes to clothing, books, and as far as thrift stores go, antiques. They lack a bit in electronics. Not the most charitable thrift store, but that probably is what makes it one of the nicest. It also runs on solar panels and is very energy efficient. Owner seems like a good guy. All in all, a great place to shop and just down the street from the second best thrift store in the area, Thrift Store City.

Decent selection of stuff. I think it's a bit overpriced for a thrift store, and it's cramped and hard to move around because everything is pushed closed together and the store is always packed with people. Basically just frustrating when you have a cart.

This thrift store is located off of Little Creek Road right by Chesapeake Boulevard it is a nice thrift store they have a lot of variety and they do accept donations as well. The only thing I would say about this store is they might be a little too high for my taste. Some items in my eyes do not need to cost as much as they do seeing as they get donations for free with that being said it's a thrift store.

Love the place, but they had something I wanted to buy that didn't have a price on it. They won't sell anything without a price. I showed it to the man in charge and instead of putting a price on it he said there was nobody to price it on weekends and it wouldn't be available until Monday so he has lost that sale.

I love this store!!!! I'm in there all the time and I find nice clothes often, the downside is that it is quite expensive for it to be a thrift store. The things you find are usually worth because they are discontinued and in very good shape but I wouldn't suggest coming here with less than $10. Besides that, it's amazing!!
