Really nice place. Clean, well organized, friendly. A little pricey on some items. But i understand. I donated quite a bit of furniture last year and the fellas came inside my home to pick it up. I didn't have to leave it on the curve. Proceeds go to the less fortunate. We need to help every way we can. GOD BLESS.

There is great clothing and furniture. Costume jewelry. I go main for Books. Very reasonable. There are all types of music and shows. Friendly busy staff.

Huge! Great prices and selection. 25% military discounts on top of already cheap - albiet heavily used - stuff. I would go here with the expectation to just stumble into something you like rather than search for specific items unless you're after furniture or clothing (they're probably going to always have inventory for those).

Most of the regular items are reasonably priced for a thrift store. Items like shirts, pants, books, etc. But other items are outrageously priced. For example I would not suggest going to this store looking for a jacket. There are some items priced three times what it would sell for new.

I love the Salvation Army! Thank you for what you do! I am grieved of older bad reviews because staff and patrons are not wearing masks. I find it petty. People should not be out shopping if they are that concerned.

It was extremely massive. I was surprised that it was pretty clean and relatively easy to navigate. Only 2 crackhead hassled me for spare change & 1 for a cigarette! #Winning

Seems like all of our purchases are glass and she makes Sure they are packed Well to make them back home to Alexandria Safely . All with Genuine , Warm and Caring demeanor no matter how busy or the Impatience of of other Rude and Nasty customers that are in line.She is Truly Appreciated by us and should be the Gold Standard model of Customer Service. A Special Thanks to Jeremy who noticed the amount of merchandise we bought and went to find a box for me instead of a lot of plastic bags… Great Job!!!

This is by far my favorite thrift spot. Huge selection, friendly staff, organized and Wednesday's you receive 25% off your items. Major shout out to employee Jennifer Ray! Her customer service skills are exceptional! She has been with the company for 4 years now. Salvation Army we need more Jennifer's. She definitely deserves a raise or rank. Look forward to shopping at this location soon.

I don’t come to this one a lot because it’s out of my way. They do have the largest selection of furniture. But now it takes everyone 10 mins minimum to check out because they make you fill out and sign a form for all items that are marked AS IS (so like electronics and stuff). Like yo I’m buying a secondhand foreman grill, I accept there’s a chance it won’t work. The form is dumb.

Really like this thrift. They have raised prices recently (.99 books are now 1.25, 1.99 books are 2.25), but still mostly reasonable prices and a fun place to treasure hunt. 25% off everything on Wednesdays and occasionally 50% off furniture

SA's are hit and miss as all thrift stores are. You have to dig at any thrift store you go to. This is part of the trinity circuit of thrift stores in the Newtown area: Tidewater Thrift, Salvation Army, and Family Thrift.

Out of all the thrift stores in the area, this one has the best prices, largest selection. I don't even bother with other thrift stores due to the ridiculous pricing. I tell everyone to stop by this store. They also have a large furniture section!!!

Visited earlier today and luckily the cashiers had their masks on correctly. It seemed like most wore them over their mouths and saw one employee who was walking around without one on at all. One customer came in and had her jacket over her mouth and nobody said anything. Aside from that there are no tag color discounts but they’re still doing 25% off on Wednesday. Didn’t have a great selection of clothing in my opinion, but They did have a pretty good selection of books!

We needed a temporary couch, and didn't want to pay retail. Salvation Army had exactly what we needed. We got a clean, burgundy leather (not vinyl!) couch, in perfect condition. We paid $140.00. Okay, it may be more than temporary. Highly recommended!!

Lots of merchandise to select from. More clothes than you can ever sort through. Did I mention the furniture? I always find something, even when I'm just browsing. The employees are friendly, the store is large, and i recommend you come visit. You'll be glad you did.

Ordinarily I would give it four or five stars but this time three stars will have to do. The sole reason I brought my reading down is because you cannot use the changing rooms. This is a real problem for a place like a thrift store. You aren't buying brand new clothes oh, you're buying second-hand clothes and clothes that are worn in fit different then new ones. This becomes compounded when you realize that they do not do returns

This place is awesome! The clothes are pretty good prices and quality. Every Wednesday is half off clothes and apparel which is why the lines were long but when you're on a budget it is worth it.
