This store is so well organized clean and full of great stuff. I got this beautiful wreath for $15 have not even been able to find something as pretty in the store. I also got a beautiful dress with the tag still on it for three dollars. In addition everyone that works there is so friendly especially Donna I wish I lived closer but every time I visit the area I will visit the store.

This is one of the nicest thrift stores of the DAV around not the best but one of nicest. I always enjoy this store....the only down side is the military clothing is priced beyond what most of us would expect from a thirft store. Military coveralls all were $40 today & military hats $10 Update 3/10/22 pricing was a little easier to take

Huge selection and fairly clean. Prices are slightly higher on some items but others are priced well. I liked how they had many out of season decorations out. Staff was very nice and helpful

Had an excellent experience today at DAV. Found this beautiful electronically couch in great condition today for my house. The cashier Brooke was super friendly and helpful. Made sure I found everything I needed and offered me assistance loading this into my vehicle. The warehouse team was outstanding, very professional and polite. Helped us load the couch onto our truck and then thanked up for shopping with DAV. Trish was very sweet and kind she brought out the cord for the couch to our vehicle. Very was friendly and helpful. I will ensure to tell everyone I know about the DAV location as it was the BEST store I have been seen yet. Very clean and organized!

Over priced on most items especially name brand or brand new. Before I would spend $40 on new pants here I would just go to the mall. The mark downs on older items is what keeps me coming back. Also you cannot try on clothes or return them, so if something doesn't fit or has a defect that went unnoticed your only option is to donate it back..

A wonderful array of clothing, shoes, purses, accessories, for men, women, and children. Furniture, other household goods, electronics, most everything is in good to excellent shape, the prices are right, and I'm amazed at how many high-end brands they carry. I have purchased White House Black Market, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor Loft, Coach, high-end, leather shoes, and there's always a variety of sizes and styles for everyone. I highly recommend this place as a thrift store!

7/26/18: I enjoy finding bargains here. Always something I can use. Clean store and restroom. This location is smaller than the location on Virginia Beach Blvd. but is laid out cleaner and they keep up with markdowns weekly. I will not go back to the other location but I check this place out weekly. Be extra careful when you buy big ticket items; check under, behind, and use your phone flashlight to truly inspect. Recently, I used VISA Charge to purchase a sofa and loveseat which was damaged after my purchase and before I picked it up. I was not able to reverse the charge. Something about a change in their credit card system has made it impossible to process a refund. Although I would have liked my money back, Store Policy is NO REFUNDS. Jennifer, the Store Manager was kind and understanding and gave me Store Credit. Just be sure you want want you pay for!

Before I start I want the staff to know they are great, 5 stars, no issues. The space between shelves is crowded. The prices are high on some items as the other reviews mentioned. Most noteably, the shoes are excessively overpriced. One example, I pointed out a pair of men's Justin boots were illegal imitations; the clerk said, oh, then returned them to the shelf behind the counter with the same genuine boot price!! Electronics are decent but mostly outdated - prices do well to reflect outdated items. However, there are plugs available for testing which is great. Furnature is ok most of the time. Realistically, it's a thrift store so don't expect much.

One of the best thrift stores in the South Virginia Beach area. They always have really good quality merchandise there at fair prices period I'm never disappointed in this thrift store I buy tons of clothing for my kids as well as always find something for myself here. We have finished furnished several apartments from this place as well

Good place for inexpensive items for men, women, kids clothing. Housewares, electronics. Furniture, books, toys, healthcare equipment you name it they may have it donated to them by others use to support disabled veterans. Consider them as your local yard sale indoors seven days a week with prices within that range.

They offer Military Discount to active or retired(including veterans) personnel, have daily bargains on clothes, furniture, bric-a-brac, magazines, etc. Karen has helped me many times in buying a good computer and other electronics.

There was very little of value to be found here. Worn-out clothing, cast-off housewares, and costume jewelry. The only positive that I can point to is that it is packed; but very well organized.

After shopping at different thrift stores, I have found that DAV is overpriced. Don't get me wrong, they do great work for the vets, but they are overpriced on a lot of their items.
