2nd Ave Thrift has changed recently. It’s still a good thrift store but it used to be a great thrift store. The prices are higher than they were and there are less “sales” than before. Certain days used to have more sale “colors” but no more. Those days were the reason I went. The store is huge and there are a lot of items. The employees are helpful. The store is clean and organized. The only area that needs cleaning is the fitting room… what a mess. The attendant was rude and unprofessional. At times the lines get long and you may have to wait. The parking lot is convenient and large.

I love bargains stores and this is one of the best. The parking lot is huge . Wheelchair Accessible and litter free , entrance is also wheelchair accessible . Masks are a must . This store has a toy section , dress clothes for men and women . Shoe's , boots and pocketbooks . The store is huge . House hold items , it's a great place to go if you are getting your first apartment . The cashiers are fast and the employees are always around to help you find things . The bathroom is there if needed . I love a bargain and this is the place to find somethings I bought were name brands , I never thought I'd ever own Take your time and have. fun. .0h Merry Christmas !

I have to preface this with saying I have a thrift store obsession, so I’m always in the thrift stores. Anyway I visit this particular location at Franklin mills all the time. Their prices have varied over the years, they have gotten a little crazy and sometimes have priced things a little too high, especially when I can just go online and buy it cheaper somewhere. With that being said, you can always find some great buys in there, you just have to really look around cause it’s so huge. Anyway, being I go there a lot I get to experience the employees. There are a lot of great ones, but two particular guys that work there are simply the best ever. Enough so that I felt the need to write this review, Cristian and Juan. They are so helpful, so pleasant, and just all around awesome. It’s one thing to go into a store and talk to a floor person, it’s another to end up having a really good time talking to them. I actually enjoy my conversations so much- just as much as I love shopping :) I could talk to them for hours. There’s just nothing else to say, they are simply the best. Second ave- you should take the time to recognize your employees and the excellent customer service they provide. You are lucky to have these two work for your company.

Best Thrift store out there. Super Clean, Sorted by colors and size. Huge variety even in larger sizes. Most clothes are Good quality, Name brands. I used to have a problem with the ignorant staff, but it's been a lot better most staff are nice and helpful. The Electronic/Kitchen area has great items, Pillows, Sheets, comforters, rugs..all good quality....Happy Shopping.

I've visited this place on a few occasions, and I have to say definitely like shopping here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There are always sales going on every Sunday; 50% Off select items. The store itself is massive. The selection is very wide for men and women, obviously the woman's selection is 3x bigger but the men's side is still surprisingly large. My only complain would be that the fitting room rules only allow five items inside at a time.. So my last visit here literally took about three hours, mainly because I had so much clothes in chart that I wanted to try on. That was just a horrible experience.. I can't even count on two fingers how many times I had to step out and then back in, to try on different items. I wanted to see how certain things fit, before leaving and not liking them once I got home. I would also suggest there be a mirror or two placed in the men's selection, maybe to limit the traffic in the fitting room area. But I mean, other than that the place is great. I would just try to limit the amount of items I purchase per visit, if I have to try anything on.

I love this place. Prices ARE great. I do have to say, the problem now in our days, people go thrift hunting. They seek out incredibly low priced but high valued merchandise to then resell for profit. So, if the thrift store is smart enough to catch a few good items to display is a glass case, then good for them. Rather than someone buying a pair of nice vintage Jordan's worth 3-400 but priced at 10.00 only to flip the item on eBay, the thrift store can charge maybe 100-200 for those shoes so they gain more money for the charity or group they are supporting. If you find a pair of nice Jordan that cheap, than good for you for being able to hunt them out. But don't be mad when you come across those shoes and they're priced at a legit fair price. That's being angry about giving more money for a good cause. Also, look deeper. There are still many great finds in the cracks of the stores. You just have to look hard enough. Anyways! Yeah, great place. Great prices. The people ARE friendly and helpful there and if they can't speak great English they'll find someone who can. Great location. And great deals.

2nd Avenue value store is spacious, bright,and fabulous. Fabulous to the point where I could find the appropriate size clothing for my grandchildren. The clothesline was in excellent shape and I love their price range.

I have purchased some fantastic items at this store. Designer shirts for $4.00!, a winter wool coat full length for $13.00 a winter blanket for $6.00 and just recently six designer t-shirts including an Ohio State shirt for just $27.00! Great bargains at great prices, check it out!

The old manager was better for two reasons: she ran a tight ship so all sizes were in exactly the right places now sizes are mixed up and especially shoes. The other reason the price were more reasonable, now they raised the prices all over the place?????

I visited 2nd Ave today and I saw a karate suit in there that was priced for $4.99 the whole outfit top and bottom, they had a karate jacket priced at 6.99. I went up to the supervisor and showed her the two items I explained to her that I wanted the outfit that was $4.99 she sent the items in the back to check the prices. When the young lady bought the outfit back to me the price was changed I just think that that that is unjust & unfair I've been going to 2nd Avenue since it open it is not the same as it was before there is no kindness in that place it's all about money and it's sad😢

Very clean and super affordable . Some items are over priced - you can get some of the items for the same price or a bit cheaper if it's on sale brand new at retail stores such as Walmart children's place etc. But very clean, organized, and great variety of items for a decent price . Would highly reccomend to anyone who's looking for clothes and other items that are gently used who are trying to save money .

I love shopping at 2nd Ave near Philadelphia Mills and Montgomerville and their other store called Village Thrift in Pennsauken. I find lots of good clothes and other items there altho usually there are very few of the designated colors on the half price days. I really liked it better when they had half-price colors every day. You had more of a chance to find half price items. I do think that some of the prices are way too high, especially since their clothing is all donated.

Not my favorite thrift store but great for that random find. This place gets a lot of foot traffic so sometimes it's hard to get a shopping cart. The service is fine and the store is always pretty organized. They have public restrooms and plenty of parking which is a plus.

Well I've been going to this store off and on. I would say about 3 times so far. They have a great selection and good products of all different kinds of stuff. I still go to the other one in Feasterville Trevose Pa it's called Liberty Ministries Thrift. I used to go there a lot with my mom and dad, now since my dad has passed away in January of 2022 it's been a year since he has been gone, anyway but their selection of clothes are all the same, no one is in the back adding more clothes to the rack and putting newer clothes out for the people. It least this store has plenty of a excellent selection. The manager is very helpful and so is the staff. Their service is Self Checkout as well. When I buy clothes there I prewash them first before I try them on. Other than that I give this place a 5 Star ⭐ because their business is awesome. Stay safe and God Bless ☺️🤗😘🥰👍✌️
