Reviews of Shoreline Goodwill
Great place for thrifting. You never know what you want until you see it there. Once in a while the pricing is higher than it should be.
Excellently kept store with lots of great stuff. The store was buzzing with patrons and still the store was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely check it out!
Used to love going in and finding really great deals, on fun nick nacks or for my crafts, now a days every thing is priced so high. I have even seen more than retail prices on some. People donate to Goodwill to help out families that cannot afford to buy brand new. Very sad very sad
It was really nice it has alot to offer I found some of my favorite peices of clothing there although some of the workers are mean but most of them are helpful and kind hope this helps!
Interesting array of items. Though I'm an adult, I bought a bunch of toys/props in the toy section. If the rest of the store is equally interesting to browse, I could easily spend half the day picking through the available merchandise. Some are better than others. Depends on the day.
They have some great stuff. Really good location for pictures and picture frames. Also good for kitchen stuff. In women's clothes, they have a lot of dresses and jeans.
Who do they think is shopping here? I find some great items here but too often I'm noticing ludicrous pricing on things. Like this beat up vintage coffee table that doesn't even have the original wood top and maybe would fetch that price perfectly restored. Just one example of many recently...
Clean store, friendly staff, great prices, good variety. I always find something here!
I like this goodwill. Wish the prices were more reasonable.
They keep it well stocked at this extra large Goodwill. They could put out more furniture though .
They have raised prices again .$2 more on all pieces of clothing, and now $1.99 instead of $1.79 Mondays. Those increases alone must make for a huge profit increase overall AND ALL of their inventory is absolutely free, and every transaction the cashier asks if you want to round up to donate to Goodwill. OMG the profit must be amazing enough to pay their CEO huge salaries. They are supposed to have a job training center but I never see anything going on in there , what's that about? They are supposed to do charity but for the huge profits they make they could certainly be doing more than hiring a few more cashier's to collect money. What do they really do for people in Seattle? Hmmm
I used to really love this store and still do on most levels, except for their prices! Their prices are ridiculous right now! It started a few months back, almost the beginning of the year when I noticed prices were getting to be pretty outrageous. Last couple times I've gone, I've compared some prices of things that I was looking at and actually found them cheaper elsewhere!!! It's supposed to be a thrift store, they obtain almost 100% of their inventory FOR FREE!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT?! Other than that, their staff is awesome and helpful and the selection of goods is decent when it's not thoroughly picked through and over. But I shop there to save money, I put up with the things that come with shopping at a good will because monetarily, it's supposed to be worth it! I'm not going to pay the same price for something I could buy used on Amazon and have delivered for free to my house or pay a dollar less for something that I'm going to have to end up buying a power supply for! I've even driven up to Lynnwood to go to value village because even though their prices are still inflated, they are considerably better than currently what goodwill is offering. Just my two cents, lol!
Dropped off kids' toys. The wait was long in the drive thru because of so many other individuals I. Cars making donations, but well worth it. Their worker and I worked together quickly and well to make the delivery.
Can find some great deals. I was told Monday and Tuesday are the best days, since most people drop off donations on the weekends. They have almost anything you'd ever need!!! The first time, I was in shock at the assortment of inventory and cannot beat the prices. Inventory varies, and get new stuff every day. Many things are brand new, even some clothing. I've been donating to them for over 20 years and have always wondered how they sort good from bad. I still wonder that but the store is really well organized!
Excellent selection! Prices have gone up recently but the selection has gotten better as well! Super friendly staff and very helpful. They are quick to add more cashiers when the line gets long to checkout. Be aware that the donation line can get lengthy but does move fairly quickly. Highly recommend supporting this Goodwill!
Went in for a can opener, and left with $230 worth of merchandise! No regrets!
I find the staff very friendly and helpful. I have found some awesome things here including 2 leather couches in good condition for 50 bucks a piece. Some of their items are priced too high, but most things are these days.
It was very expensive. For an inventory that was nearly all donated items, I may as well have gone to a Fred Meyer or K-Mart. A used small clip on lamp was 14.99. I could have got a brand new one in the box with warranty for the same price at Fred Meyer or cheaper still, online. Come on Goodwill, let's see some. I'll have to start calling you G-Mart.
I mistakenly donated an item and came back to the store in a panic. The manager, William, was wonderful. He knew exactly what to do, remained calm and compassionate, and after the paperwork was done went out of his way to search for my item. He returned it to me and I am extremely grateful.
Out of all the Goodwills in the Seattle area, it seems to be the best organized and tidiest.
Easy drop off for donation. As well as serviceable items for reuse.
This is a cleaner than average Goodwill store. The employees are pretty nice, and the shelves are well maintained. The store doesn't have the usual "thrift-store funk" smell going either which is nice.
The prices here are a bit all over the place, and high in general. I found several things where there were multiples of items all at different price points, and some of them not too much less than I could get the item for new, but in general, there were some good deals to be found, and we did walk away with a handful of "treasures".
Next time we are in the area, we will probably stop by again as this does seem to be a store worth shopping at. While it's not the best thrift-store I have visited, it is likely in the top ten.
Very nice out there and it's very well organized in the difference between this one and others. The store provide nice electric and electronics (Strereo systems are very impressive). The store locates in the city where is living people who are donating good condition clothes and it's not old style.
Was still taken back by the cost of donated items but the aisle were clear and free of all debris
I like shopping at this goodwill. It's very tidy and people are trying to help you. Today a very nice young lady named Esther helped me to buy and put a hold on a fireplace that didn't fit in my car.
The guys were also amazing as they tried to fit the piece in my trunk, but unfortunately it was too big.
Cashiers are always helpful too and give you full information on questions asked.
Ive been going to this location since it opened. This location used to be a Albertson's store. Usually has good selection. Mostly women's clothes and books and household goods. This location does usually not have many of the small plastic blue carts that can double up as hand baskets. Wish they had more. Or a few small carts like QFC does.
So far my favorite Goodwill in King County. Monday sales are worth it if you come early. I found brand new coats at 2 dlls and dresses. Amazing place. The staff seems nice and very busy keeping things clean during the pandemic. I would encourage to come before the afternoon on Mondays to find the best deals.
Smaller but organized and clean. Lots of helpful employees
A smaller outlet than most, everything was well organized. At the corner of two busy streets, convenient access to them was limited to right turns only during the time I was there - even on an early Saturday morning.
They have something for everyone and at every size. Often have great finds - designer items and natural fabrics (cotton, wool, cashmere) that don’t pollute the world with micro plastic.
I love shopping here. The selection and customer service has always been superb. I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5 due to my most recent customer service experience. I arrived 10 minutes before closing. I was not let in, despite explaining I was only returning a few items. I understand their reasoning, but I think 10 minutes before closing is unreasonable.
I shop here 3 to 4 times a month looking for bargains and things that I need or can use at home. I sometimes have to go back several times before I find what I'm searching for, but eventually it shows up and I am able to get what I need at a fair or bargain price. I like the set up and environment and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
The store looks a little bit ghetto when you first pull up! However once inside the man who I assume is the owner is very nice and helpful. The store is very clean with clean glass casses & carries a huge variety of cigarette brands as well as many CBD products, pipes and bongs if that is the specialized item you are looking for. Also alot of candles and insence.
Clean store. Good selection. The staff has been great over the last year that I have been shopping here.
The line to drop stuff off is often over 6 cars deep, even on a Wed afternoon.
I have had to return a couple of items (a printer that skipped every 10th line and a hand blender where all the attachments were to a different unit) but that was not a problem and they gave me credit without any issues.
My only regret is not buying the giant banana costume when I first saw it (it was gone later that day).
Employees are very nice here! Even though this is usually a very busy store, everyone working is pretty friendly and helpful!
They dont have the broadest or the best selection... But they are the nicest and most professional , which is saying a lot bcuz most of the other Goodwill around the area north are not only unprofessiol, but are rude as well !! .Security really goes way overboard ive seen them throw a small girl around like a rag doll trying to get her backpack off and ive also been accused and told they would physically drag me back to their office if I didn't go...so I went , and so did the cashier who rang up my Sale...so I was let go, but without an apology or any thing.... That was the Seattle one. Shoreline is always super nice and professional.
I also have complained about high prices and other things but I seem to always go back because I always find something I can't live without. The Goodwill has a really good program for learning how to work . The Goodwill also ships clothes around the world for people that need them.
Good-day & good shopping
Great workers great selection, a little expensive for a thrift store and there was no shopping carts available. Overall great experience though
Good selection of books, office items, bats, board games, and clothes. Due to covid home exercise items are all gone. Some good wall art and frames can be had. Lots of stuffed animals. A few cassettes and vhs tapes. Not many albums. Bring a usb power pack to test usb electronic items. Great selection of water bottles. Only black and brown belts. Great place to get Halloween costume stuff. There is a brand new donation drop box at the front of the store now as well as drive up drop off in the back of the store.
Clothes for the whole family. Household supplies for indoors and outdoors. Electronics, bikes, furniture, books and movies on VHS & DVD. I like shopping here. Prices are fair.
Hours 9 to 9 for shopping
Donations is 10 to 7 everyday
This is a big diverse thrift store which is also a training center to assist folks get to work. There is a large inventory and was previously a full size grocery store. The bathrooms are usually clean and the staff has been helpful through my many visits. As usual there are a host of sale dates and heavy discounts on certain tag colors. For those looking for clothing you will love the massive selection. I myself look for electronic items and have found several items over the years. The parking lot is great size.
I have gone to this Goodwill only 3 times. Once with a girlfriend of mine, and twice just in the area on fun or business. The store has always been a good one, lots of items, and a very pretty girl, I like with blonde hair, she is awesome! ^^
Visiting family in Seattle we drove by and saw the goodwill sign and decided to stop. This is one of the BEST goodwill stores I've been in. I'm from the Midwest and we have several there. This store was super clean, very well organized, and had great stuff. My family that lives in the area said they would definitely be back. The staff was also super friendly.
This goodwill is bigger inside than most but usually only good for clothes books movie's doesn't ever have any tools or home goods lots of furniture and games and 2 isles of toys
I got a lot of good stuff for reasonable price ,great selection
I love living near this Goodwill to be able to go look here first for things I need! Everyone I've ever met there has been helpful and very nice. Also, you know how new clothes sometimes shrink or lose elasticity after washing a few times? Buying used removes this problem!! You can even just go try stuff on to see what fits right in a used state to guide your new purchases, I haver found this extremely helpful, and the selection at this store makes it a good place to try lots of brands and styles on as well as long as you are not looking for something too specific. Have fun and hope you find what you are looking for!
I like shopping to support this job training store. I'm addicted to thrift shopping so I'm glad they are open for limited numbers of shoppers. They wipe down the checkout counter between shoppers and encourage distanced shopping.
This location is relatively clean and easy to find. Parking can be difficult at times.
The racks are not well kept and are frequently tangled, so shopping may be frustrating.
Today's visit I was quickly able to find what I needed and check out and the cashier was very friendly, as usual.
Nice selection. I felt a little like I was the subject of loss prevention training....is it still paranoid if ppl are actually following you? Lol. Naw, jk.! The place was clean and the staff friendly. The items a little over priced and no tag colors 50% off or deals of any kind . Very disappointed about that.
I've been shopping here for years. Often find what I'm looking for. Great brands at great prices. Sometimes better organized then others but digging for a good deal is most of the fun anyway. This is my favorite goodwill by far.
Some things seem overpriced for a thrift store, but the majority of it is very reasonable. Lots of good furniture, good board games, good clothes. It's a goodwill.
My 1st visit to this store was a true treasure hunt! I was curious to see how this store compared to other locations. I discovered another size of Coca Cola glasses I never seen before and they have four of them instead of the usual onesies and twosies at prices that made my jaw drop! I browsed more aisles and discovered much needed wall shelves and triple opening shadow box display, ready to be hung. I left the store one happy camper!
This is a good place to find some great stuff. However, be aware that many things are "overpriced." Sometimes the item still has its original price tag, and goodwill has priced it, at or above that price. Seeing as many of the items are older, and often in used condition it is good to make sure you are actually getting the item for a good price. Also, make sure the item works before purchasing, returns are accepted but only for store credit.
donated a bunch of stuff, including a motor cycle helmet that was not supposed be donated. Called back 48hrs later they were able to to fined it and set it aside for me to come and get. We Have bought tons of kids books there for 1-2$ a good place to go.
Prices are associated with the product well. Some of the staff, however, are rude/disrespectful, almost sassy. The manager on duty was well organized, and helped me with a ripped price tag. He was extremely nice. Hopefully my review helped!
I like this particular Goodwill a lot. Very big store, use to be an Albertsons. Don't know if they pull the items with the color of the day off the floor that's on sale that day (example: Mondays) like the Lynnwood store does. Such b.s.. Hopefully not!
My favorite Goodwill around! Great prices and finds.
The place is very spacious, the store has great stuff and not bad prices like other local thrift stores. They have so many shoes selections and tons of toys .
Didn't find much there today, but I have found plenty of good stuff in this place. Thanks goodwill for all that you do for the community.
I arrived at 9: 45 and they're already 7 cars in front of me... Once they opened at 10:00 The line progressed well... The gentleman that was working was very polite.
Wide space and good merchandise. Personnel is friendly and available. They have plenty of books, bikes, electronic material and a wide selection of clothes. It's on the corner between 145th street and 15th ave and the have plenty of parking.
One of the greatest thrift stores in King County. Easy access bus system, drops you off at the parking lot. Large store with lots to explore! Preposted sells. Seniors and Veterans discounts. And folk so willing to help you.
I thought that by going a little bit out of Seattle I could avoid the high thrift store prices, but the prices here are about the same as the goodwills in Seattle. For reference, the cheapest tops I saw were $5 but most were $8-$13. The selection was normal for a goodwill, as in you'll have to dig. I won't go out of my way to go here again but if you live nearby then it's not terrible
Goodwill on 145th and 15th Ave NE is a great place to find clothes, bedding, fabric yardage and furniture most all in good condition at reasonable prices
Glad they were open for drop-off donations, while other locations are often closed. And line was not too bad.
We need affordable prices !!
is this Macy's or Nordstrom .
This couch 500 dollars 🛋 how can poor people afford like this price in Good will
furniture, & TV ,rugs r very expensive too this shoreline site
Clean and organized, and friendly staff. Found two camera bags and a tripod. Call it a win!
Usually this store has a pretty good selection of things. Lately it's been fairly sparse.
Hope it picks up soon.
Little pricey, the toy aisle is always impossible to walk in, but it has a good variety of things. A really great and important resource for thoughtful living.
Very courteous staff. Sore is clean. Covid 19 regulations carried out throughout the store
Love goodwill stores.prices for some things are higher than it should be but than it is ok I guess, they have to make up for their losses.
I try most of the time to donate clothes and things we don't need anymore. I was glad to see a long line of cars waiting for their turn to unload.
Huge line to drop off donations took 45 minutes just to find out they wouldn't take our bookcase despite having confirmed on the website they were still accepting furniture...
Great selection here, and the employee were super nice and helpful. Favorite Goodwill location.
I love Goodwill! The best friend of a minimalist. American dream... Consumerism... Thank you guys for unloading, sorting, selling! You help delaying the entropy fallout of the planet.
Large store with a fantastic selection of items, including a decent amount of good quality, cheap furniture
Out of all the thrift stores in the surrounding area, I find this one is the cleanest and has the best layout. Their prices are also pretty decent. Expect long lines.
Wonderful every Monday they have sell I enjoined shopping good job shoreline Goodwill
I enjoy going to this Goodwill because it's not only closer to where I live, but it's bigger than the value village in Lake City AND the employees don't follow you around the whole time you're browsing..
great selection, close to the interstate
I always find at least one thing I cannot pass up. Today I found a brand new $75 Quadcopter Drone Pro.
It's a little pricey for a "thrift" store, but you will walk out of there with something. And you will be happy with your purchase.
Good selection in every department. Easy drive through for donation drop offs. Better prices than value village.
The store is well organized and the people who work there are helpful and courteous. It's a pleasure to shop there.
Very nice place, quality products with prices to match
Once you discover this store, you'll never have to (or want to) shop anywhere else again. Amazing selection and the lowest prices in town, especially for electronics.
Because everyone is cleaning during quarantine, the waits are long, but the employees are quick and practicing social distancing.
They had nice clothes but you just gotta go on the right days
Spacious and organized variety of used and new items. You can't expect to find what you're looking for but you can find things you didn't expect.
Prices are high for simple used stuff. It's got to the point that it's just the same price for the item new then used.
cons: sometimes really random items will have high prices just ask a employee they sould put it lower
pros great selection if you are a game and game console collecter nice staff cleaner than most goodwills better games than value village
It's nice place but they need more car shopping
A bit understaffed for how busy it gets. If you come at the wrong hour, expect over one hour waits for purchase or donation.
Best thrift store in Seattle metro area. Smaller than the main Dearborn location, but far less picked over. Tons of scores to be had.
Selection okay. The lines can get long. Staff is nice.
A Typical Goodwill tho exceptionally neat and clean. I will be shopping frequently there. Very accepting of my service dog. Thank you
great selection. great prices. friendly staff. can't say enough good about this store.
Nice selection and prices, but staff were very unfriendly at checkout when we were confused about what color tag was on sale.
Way better than Ballard Goodwill with their over priced items. Cleaner than Ballard Goodwill as well.
It's a Goodwill, lots of clothes, sometimes good furniture. I usually look for vintage stereo equipment and this location doesn't usually have anything good.
They were pleasent! They were being safe. I like going there. Always nice!
I've never had a bad experience here. The staff are always helpful and kind.
Big store with great selection in all areas. Plenty of big fitting rooms. Tons of board and card games.
Just like any other Goodwill outlets, sometimes you find something cheap but valuable. The rest of the time is just looking at used items.
Very large facility, with a wide range of used goods. Higher end clothing is conveniently separated out from the rest.
Always a good selection and fair prices.
Super cool spot to pick up sweet finds at bargain prices! Got a Wii and a few golf clubs for 30 bucks
Excellent options staff keep the place very clean and organized and there's a lot of social distancing space
There were lines at the register but they still got people through quickly!
Large Facility
Always Busy with lots of what your looking for. Prices aren't consistent,..
But good prices on furniture things
Always awsome!
Employees were all so nice, even the cashiers on a busy night!
Very large store with a good selection of merchandise.
Helpful and friendly staff even with longer than average lines for donations.
Long donation line but went pretty quickly! Same is true a year later
Little pricey but you have to shop for the deals
Sometimes the prices are ridiculous for a GW, but most of the time the price is right, and the selection is always pretty big. Tons of furniture, too.
Face it--embrace your poverty. You don't need to have the best or newest of anything to have a good life.
Quick and efficient when dropping off donations
This is a fantastic Goodwill! Very well organized and very friendly staff! Fun shopping!
I waited for the dropoff to open then donated my items and left
Very clean and lots of nice quality items.
Good selection, good prices, helpful and friendly staff. I love having one in the neighborhood!
Treasures await to be discovered!
Slow checkout and no colored tag sale but decent selection of everything
Huge store with really nice staff but only okay prices
The young man that help unload donations from my car was very nice and very helpful.
Usually good finds. Cashiers not always friendly
Great finds all the time at a real discount. Like I found tons of cool old comics there.
Meh, there is always always always never enough cashiers to keep the line going.
Large Goodwill. Lots of furniture options. Clothing and electronics selection was decent.
Use your Chinook Book coupon and/or app to get 20% off your entire purchase. Why pay full price?
Love the daily sales! I've come across several treasures for awesome prices.
I like it
Great display for Christmas, lots of cashiers, very organized!
Thanks,
Sgt.mike
This goodwill location is the best in the Seattle area! Great deals and tons of goodies to find.
Better selection of books than Value Village. And very well organized.
Well organized. Clean location
Always worth a look to see if there are new kids books.
Excellent. Shoreline is the best!! So organized and easy to shop!
Always new treasures to find. Managers are more helpful here then some locations.
Given the current, pandemic, situation it was a rather pleasant experience.
Always find something here!
It is great place to shop , employees are very helpful.
Clean, well laid out.. Good selection and prices, overall.
Great thrift store, never know what you're going to find.
Great treasure
This is a roomy Goodwill. Inventory is sparse lately.
This goodwill has its stuff together... Really organized and clean.
Great selection, but at a premium. Kinda expensive for used goods.
Best thrift store ever.
Busy! And really just accepting clothes and smalls during pandemic.
Great to find another store to shop!
The most inefficient donation Process I’ve ever done. Could’ve watched titanic
There ok
Amazing collection amazing stuffs
Worth stopping in when you're in the neighbourhood. Scored big today.
Always a good selection.sometimes the lines are a little long.
Has a nice selection of clothing for cheap
Clean, friendly staff but slow at checkout
Crowded and expensive with nothing unique.
The store so beautiful and not expansive
Generally friendly. Lots of options.
Good place to buy a used bike.
Great Monday sales, but overpriced shoes.
Lots of high quality with low prices.
Very dirty dressing rooms.
I enjoy hunting for a good deal. This is that place.
Lots of good stuff
Good selection
Always full of good surprises.
Way too expensive for used item's..
Prices seem to have incteased
Very friendly lot of inventory
I love it ! Good shopping !
Their have a treat prices
Big selection, good price
Great idea for used items
Always a treasure trove found here!
Prices are going up. Not cheap anymore.

Great customer service!
Very good selection!!
Got what I wanted
Great service!
Love this place.
Great selection!
Excellent
Helps a ton of people.
Ok
Gigantic selection!!!
Lots of stuff.
Best Goodwill in town
Stinks
Meh on the clothing
Large inventory
Furnitures are quite pricy here !
A couch chair is 100 dollars !
Cube of IKEA is 30 dollars
However the front desk is very cheerful ! Good sales atmosphere :)
Might just look hard on Craigslist
Whether it is really good just depends on what is there at the time you arrive. Always hope for the best but cannot always expect it. But overall it's a lot like other similarly sized Goodwill Stores. I am always glad it is there. Every so often you will strike gold.
Good service
