Way more affordable than Crossroads across the street. Selection felt more like my style and I was really excited about a few things, but the dressing rooms weren't open and they have a no-returns policy so I didn't feel confident buying the clothes. Almost got the adorable rain boots, though. I did buy a pair of heels for a wedding (not my style, just the requirement for the outfit), but might resell them since they were final sale.
Masks were required which I don't mind, just something to be aware of.
The only star missing is because it's hard to buy things you can't return without trying them on.

I absolutely loved this store, especially the downstairs. The upstairs has the clothes, but the downstairs is what makes this place sparkle. It has a large variety of the kind of random bobs and bit that makes a thrift store feel like a treasure hunt. I have include pictures of the children section, plates and tupperware, bathroom section, home appliances, games section, record walls, pottery, art and paintings, etc. They had 10 cents dvd and cd’s. They had a clearance sale section where everything was 50 cents. I got a nice makeup holder for 50cents. I have posted a picture of that. I spent almost an hour down there. The clothes section isn’t so impressive. The dressing room is closed so you can’t try out any of the clothes, and there’s a non return policy too. It’s had to make clothing decisions when you can’t try it on. There was a really nice worker near the dressing rooms who handed me a tape and thought me out to take my measurement and measure the clothes. I ended up not buying any clothes. I got a small glass vase-like thing I am planning on using it as a makeup brush holder. It was only 50 cents too. I ended up getting a further discount when I was paying so I ended up spending only 96 cents for 2 items which is mind blowing to me. I definitely would come back around once a month or so.

I purchased 2 sweaters and a very cool jean jacket all for $13.00!! I know My size and I buy larger so I just read the size tag. I never try on second hand clothes bc I get good deals and take right away to dry cleaners or home laundry. Then I try on and so far in decades I have found fantastic items!!

Awesome thrift store! Clothing section was well organized with a variety of sizes and styles.
They sell pretty much everything you could ever need such as, books, dishes, records, chairs, floaties, art, jewelry, monitors, etc.
The staff is super friendly too, would recommend stopping by!
Masks are required inside, no public restrooms available, and fitting rooms are closed currently.

This place is a gem. I have been going here for years and I love being able to find things I want and need while also donating, knowing it is going to a good cause.
Mike Sampson
Excellent thrift store with a good selection of clothes, household goods and records at very good prices (and when some items are on final markdown-yard sale like prices). There are 2 levels on this store and store customer service is very good. They have a color coded guide to sale prices and 25% off certain color tags on Wednesdays (and FYI- free condoms near the front entrance of the store- yeah really). An excellent place to visit if you are looking for some thrift store bargains.
Ringo
A curated thrift store experience. Items are always in excellent shape, and a notch above competitors. The fact you are funding an excellent cause is just icing on the cake. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Still requiring a mask to enter, welcome to the new normal!
Erica Serna
Prices here are great on pretty much everything, but clothes are a little pricier, not as high as at Goodwill but still kind of disappointing. Totally understandable that the fitting rooms are still closed for staff safety but I just wish they'd let you return clothes if they don't fit because you can't try on in store, especially since the clothes aren't that cheap.
John Hickey
The quality of the donations are superior to other thrift stores....the presentation is unreal and the prices coupled with the daily sales make this one of the very best!
Monitrice Lashé
This shop was amazing! The selection of clothes and really affordable prices were great. I didn't have a mask, but the staff quickly helped me with a new one. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there, lots of good energy and laughs. Overall very friendly folks and a perfect place to get starter (home) items as well some sprinkled vintage pieces. If I come back to Seattle, I'd definitely visit them again!
Mia ꨄ
The workers are really nice! <3 I have good luck finding good clothes that I enjoy at this place. 5/5
Nene
Loved this place so much and It’s much affordable than other thrift store in Seattle. They have price off depends on the color of the tag. They have unique pieces for affordable price and I recommend it for sure :)

There is an older lady who works here that has a chip on her shoulder and every time I come here somehow she makes the stressful. Most recently, I came here with visiting family and wanted to show her this store. I had a mask with me and I am fully vaccinated and I support this store having the Covid-19 precautions in place as it’s a smart decision. In fact, I usually don’t even leave my apartment without a mask due to having mild allergies in public spaces. I had come outside but had my hands full with bags and a drink I was holding. I’ve been here before and usually put my mask on as soon as I enter but didn’t even get the chance as immediately this lady is snappy and ordering and I haven’t even stepped past the condom nightable. I get being vigilant and maybe even annoyed but maybe save that energy for the anti maskers and anti vaxxers and not people just entering the store juggling their items. I’ve had a previous encounters with her (not covid or mask related) and was hit with a wave of anxiety when this happened although I didn’t say anything, I immediately put my mask on and left my drink by the door, no problem. Don’t think I will be coming back as I don’t wish to have this much anxiety for a $5 skirt again.

Really like the staffs and media selection. Good price for almost everything, just wish the fitting room can be open soon
Jesus la Pinga
A mediocre selection. I remember when this place was amazing, butin recent years it seems to have gone down. The do have a good xxx DVD and mag selection if you are interested.
Nicole Raine
Great quality finds at actual thrift store prices, including designer brands. It’s my favourite place to find a like new cocktail dress for 7 bucks and a surprise faux fur coat just for funsies. It’s everything thrift store shopping should be. Rotating discounts. Well organised. Friendly staff. Seasonal offerings. Homeware and vintage finds downstairs. All supporting a great cause. This place keeps the Broadway culture alive while providing great quality and service. Love it.
Quentin Lightner
I come here every day, you never know what you'll find. They have a 50 cent section that always has something interesting
Christine Doan
Easily the best store for thrifting in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. I can spend hours combing through every section including apparel, furniture, kitchenware, & art/media (which has vinyl!) located downstairs. They carry a ton of vintage postcards too. Friendly & helpful staff. Glad i didn't miss this place before leaving town.
Ly Huynh
So much of my clothes is from here! It’s the best thrift shop IMO in Seattle as they get a good chunk of donations from Crossroads across the street, so some of their selection is high end or brand new with tags as donors originally meant to sell their clothes. Their rotating tag discounts are an added plus. They did a great job with mask enforcement, sanitation, and capacity limiting throughout the pandemic. Changing rooms are set to open again toward the end of July. Staff here are really friendly!
Sandy
I love this little thrift store, their first floor is clothing items and then the floor beneath it has everything else from records to plates. They have a wide variety of items that are cheap most of the time! Amazing store that I would recommend for anyone.
Blaise Epstein
This is my absolute favorite thrift store! Lots of cool stuff, very organized, and awesome prices. I got an electric mixer, a springform pan, garlic container, book, and a cheese slicer for $10. Plus, the whole place has excellent vibes.
Absolutely love this place!
Monica Jones de Borges
This thrift store is great! All the people that work there are kind and helpful. It's not really clean but looks like they're trying to improve that. Prices vary but generally are quite good with a fairly good selection.
Michael Ryker
Wonderful selection of clean decent clothing upstairs, housewares & such downstairs — I found two beautiful red Kitchenaid pans in perfect condition for like $6 each. & they lasted for years!! Nice employees — fabulous place :)
Mitchell Price
Lovely place, great vibes & nice finds!
Makena Gadient
Always great finds! I love that they have so many fun deals - some days I find things for 75c just because it's a blue tag that day. I never seem to get good deals at goodwill, but always find something magical at Lifelong. They also are an easy place to donate your items as well, which is great. I've found fun dresses, great boots, art books, and kitchenware at Lifelong.
Brian M. Demkowicz
Best thrift store ever. Conveniently located and supports a great cause. Service is always friendly. Great selection of clothes, electronics, music, DVDs, furniture, art, and housewares. Fun to browse, and find the impulse item you weren't looking for.
Mei Fu Lee
This place has really cheap clothes and daily deals on top of it. It is also pretty big inside, with a downstairs floor also. The clothes were all upstairs. They have smaller selection, but they have a more variety of things. They had shoes, jewelry, and bags also. However, the quality of the clothes and other items seemed like they were well-used. The fitting rooms were also spacious and bright. Downstairs, there were books, records, and furniture. While I didn't buy anything, my friends found some cute clothes for really cheap. I would probably come back here, but I wouldn't come often.
C1C1
This has been my favorite thrift store since moving to Seattle. They have great deals, I love how it’s organized and maintained, and the employees are always welcoming. There’s also lots of great finds here if you take your time to look through everything.
samantha jensen
This place is amazing amazing. Easily my favorite thrift store I have ever been to. The staff is beyond happy to help you, the changing rooms are large enough to try things on and the clothing is there for all bodies. Check out the basement for some hysterical doodads you can get anyone and super good old books (that are worth way more than they sell them for!) This place is also really well priced, check out the daily deals. Highly recommend.
Angela Dunsmoor
I love this place! There are great styles for everyone, and it is very clean and organized. They organize everything by style and size, so you can easily find exactly what you need, and the deals are much better than Goodwill. It also has furniture, books, records, shoes, and kitchen supplies.
Stephanie Nam
The staff is attentive, and the place is nice and organized. They do have some good stuff. I don't tend to find many good clothes here but I do find a lot of things in the basement. General home things and such. The crossroads across the street offers to donate items that they don't take in, so you can find some pretty good things for better deals than over there.
Michelle
Love, love, love this place but I wish it were open 24/7! 😀 The quality of the merchandise is superior. The clothing styles range from classic to trendy to funky so there is something for everyone. The staff and volunteers are pleasant and happy to answer any questions I may have for them. The store is clean and organized. If you haven't visited the store, get going...now...vamoose!! 😀
Abigail Hartman
This place has good quality items while amazing discounts on already low prices. As well it is very LGBTQ+ friendly, as you would imagine being on Broadway, and gives free condoms. The employees are friendly and helpful as well. Even if you do not buy anything the experience is always lovely.
Amanda Petersen
Super impressed by this thrift store! Very reasonable prices on brand name clothing. I got 6 pieces for $14. Will be coming back next time I’m in Seattle!
Richard Marshall Bowman
I've been haunting this joint since the late '90s or early 2000s....for a good reason...a few of 'em actually. Number one being ...THE CAUSE. Proceeds benefit Lifelong Aids Alliance..one of my favorite charities. The quality of goods at this thrift are much better than most..the varied items & their condition will amaze you. The prices, though nothing to crow about...are ok, comparable to most other shops.. better than some. The staff & the atmosphere are so much different & enjoyable than the well known "second hand stores." You can schmooze with these folks (about most anything) in a relaxed environment and feel good doing it. They don't make you feel like they're being put upon when you ask questions or remark about anything. And then there's the other customers.... Now HERE'S a group that can have your eyebrows up near your hairline (providing it's.... well...never mind). "Different," is putting mildly....but pleasantly so.
Weiyi Tan
Love this thrift store! Very organized and had cute items. Reasonably priced too!
Stephanie Soong
Really amazing prices and very well curated. Pay attention to which colored tags are on sale each week. Huge discounts on items that have the designated colored tag. Discount amount can be up to 75%. And some items cost only 50cents!
Zolaire
Stumbled in here on accident one day after catching glimpse of the HIV testing posters (being curious why a thrift store would have these posters). I ended up leaving with three fantastic sweaters I have been needing for some time, but just assumed I'd have to look through a few department stores first. The clothing racks are much more well-organized and higher-quality than is typical at the average thrift store, and I love the "queer community center" atmosphere and nice employees.
Coral Lee
I randomly walked in with my friends one day, and fell in love with this store! It has the best selection, quality, and prices of any thrift store in Seattle (not to mention proceeds go to a great local cause). The store is huge, they have daily discounts by tag color, and the apparel is every size and style under the sun.
Andrew Schons
I love this place. Friendly staff, large selection of stuff to choose from, and much better prices than the nearby goodwill. There's always something new and interesting here, and there tends to be lots of cool video game stuff downstairs. Daily deals make the thrift store even thriftier, and knowing my money is going to a good cause is always a big bonus.
Ryan Kelly
You can find some amazing deals here! I cleaned out a whole lot of audio equipment (reciever, speakers, cables) and some other electronics for under $60!
Some sections refresh inventory faster than others but that's not really up to them.
Everyone here is always super friendly, and I stop by at least once a week to treasure hunt.
The store has been constantly improving since it opened (selection/layout/prices) and I hope that trend continues!
Angela
I was only in the clothing section, so can’t speak about the rest of the store. But I was very confused, as it was very clean and spacious, and I really thought the prices were wrong they were so inexpensive... anyway I found a really nice pair of jeans for $9 and a wool sweater. Cool place I’ll definitly be back, and their cause is also commendable.
Keri Pitts
Absolutely adorable little thrift store that fits right into the quirky part of Broadway that it calls home. The staff are always friendly and happy to chat you up, the pricing on items is absolutely awesome (I got a large wall photo, framed, for $15, and a cell phone V.R. headset for $2), and it has a very nice layout - clothing/accessories on the main floor, everything else in the basement.
hereisnowisover
Great selection and superb sales located less thant a 5 minute walk from the Capitol Hill link station. Some color tags are 50 cents, some are 75% off, others 50% or 25% off. The full-price amounts are also reasonable to begin with. I got 4 pairs of boots for $3 each. I got a suitcase for $5, and several nice office shirts, each for less than $3. There are changing rooms, as well. Apparel is on the first floor; Books, music, and housewares are downstairs. Proceeds benefit AIDS healthcare.
May L
Passed by this store today and was thinking of just window shopping. I ended up buying several items of clothing here. The prices were outstanding and they had a good selection too. I think I found my new favorite thrift shop.
Mike Brosché
One of the best little unknown thrift stores on the hill. Great place to find a wide array of clothes and even some great designer brands. All the money donated goes to a great cause and helps support Life Long AIDS Alliance.
I've picked up many men's dress shirts that would normally cost me $65-85 dollars in a full line retail store for under $15 dollars per shirt for some designer brands. Non designer name shirts are often well under a $5 dollars.
Love love love this place!
Zeynep Oner
Lifelong is a thrift store that has a mission of being affordable for everyone and they mean it. Items get discounted weekly until they are only 50 cents. Imagine getting a dress you actually like for 50 cents and contributing to your community by doing so. That's what Lifelong does, and that's all it does; contribute to the community in multiple ways.
Go in, and enrich your lives and others'.
Adelia Helena
I occasionally go to thrift stores to find cool clothes. This place, by far, is my favorite store. The place is relatively small but it’s clean and tidy! Also the price is super affordable for a nice shop like this.
Hannah C
Great thrift shop in Capitol Hill!
Preston Spalding
Everybody should go here if they haven't already. Really fun store and it's so beyond ready to spend hours downstairs. Really nice furniture and appliances. Everything also seems to be in great shape when I go too.
Laura-turtle THE TURTLE
They have color sales weekly it changes the color coded price tags match the discounted sale that week. For example say this week it's orange and it matches to $.75 cents for all orange tags. Or s it's blue and that's $%50% off all blue price tags.
It's also very roomy thrift store plenty of room to shop not being Jammed up and unable to wander and browse.
David Unterman
Learned about Lifelong while in Seattle to help relatives move. Now, I visit a few times a year and always go to Lifelong mostly for their classy selection of books, CDs. Clothes are way above thrift store level. Quality finds in every section, it seems.
Jessica Ness
This spot is BY FAR the best thrift shopping Cap Hill has to offer. Leather RIDICULOUSLY soft boots, this adorable jumper for less than $10. I ALWAYS find something to buy and it really is a great cause to throw your money at. Stop In!
R B
Top notch! I honestly didn't expect to find as much as I did, and for the name brands they carry, their prices were amazing. Nothing flashy about this store, but it's clean and well organized. I absolutely loved it, and I would come back.
Marlee Degele
Great clothing (didn't check anything else). The associates were less than helpful. Slow moving despite crickets chirping in the store, hard to ask questions due to lack of coherence and then again of knowledge.
james howell
Prices are reasonable especially compared with Goodwill on the hill...discounts for colored tag system is consistent so I never feel like I should have shopped some other day to get a good deal, just gotta look and find as thrift shopping should be.
Ivory Edwards
Great quality items, good prices, regular discounts. This is how thrifting should be. Downside, I am from out of town and didn't know to use the restroom before coming and they wouldn't let me use their bathroom. I nearly didn't make it having to run around the block asking everyone for a bathroom.
olivia lopez
Huge store and excellent selection. Great customer service and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!
Eric Williams
GIANT thrift store, two levels, mountain of vinyl records. Never saw a thrift store with this many vinyls, or this organized. Even some record stores don't compare. And it's all for a good cause. Great place.
Shaman Tetsujin
Thank you lifelong. Stand strong and keep doing what you're doing. The prices vary greatly so do your homework and be a good consumer when buying items. This shop seems a bit higher priced at first but if you know what you're buying I guarantee you you will never be 'ripped off' here.
Holly Williams
Great selection of quality clothing (even vintage!), houseware, and furniture nicely displayed and curated. Helpful staff and terrific sales.
Kailey D
Its such a cute place! Its got 2 stories and lots of pride stuff for people who are looking for that in downtown seattle. Their prices are great and overall is just a good place!
Jen Lockett
Great non-profit organization. There used to be more to choose from a few years ago. Fairly picked over and they have started putting white tags on almost everything so sales are also not as good either. Still some good finds.
amaya flight
My new favorite thrift shop because of the (thrift prices) hopefully the prices won't go up. I went to this store for my winter clothes and I got some nice warm sweater and turtle neck...great staff too!
Patrick Franklin
This is exactly the kind of store I always lool for when exploring a new corner of Seattle. There was a good mixture of merchandise that spanned from beautoful high-end art to funky junk store finds.
I can't go back until I can afford to rent a truck to bring back everything I want.
Cody
Great selection of all sorts of things, less shoes than I was hoping for though. Like most Seattle thrift shops, they know the value of the clothes they have, but the prices are cheaper than other places I've been to.
Rota Freeman
Went looking for pants and kitchen items. Found all the kitchen items I needed (including a cute bear rice bowl), plus a great record album. All goes to a good cause.
G C
Found a couple quality jackets at a great price. The clothes selection maybe limited when compared to other nearby thrift stores but you can't beat their price.
Stef
My favorite thrift store in the area. Great prices and great product. I always find something good there.
Winfrida Mtewele

Stella Haberman
great thrift store! wide variety of stuff for cheap. very nice workers
Mama Kukel
It's more of a thrift store for adults with good selection on men's and women's clothing and shoes. The books and household areas are pretty good but the baby section is a no-no.
Willie Black
Excellent secondary store. Fantastic selection to choose from. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was neat and well maintained.
Rebekah Perkins
Best thrift store ever with an amazing selection, lots of new arrivals constantly, nice people. I always shop here first when I need anything
Caleb Christopher
I got brand new pants and basically new shoes for like $11. Seriously, almost felt guilty about how little I paid. Inconceivably great deals here.
Roy Howie
A ton of stuff to dig through. Fun even if you don’t have a particular item in mind.
Caley Brock
Always stocked with the most interesting items and the staff couldn't be nicer. I've gotten lots of handmade pottery, furniture, a cool lamp, and art from here.
Maritza Santillan
Visiting from California and everyone is super nice and welcoming. The store is well organized and labeled and clean! My fave store in Cap Hill!
Scott Amsden-Smith
The selection is pretty thin these days. I'll be glad when people are able to get more items into the thrift store.
Tammy Luthy
My FAVORITE thrift shop in Seattle. Frequent donations memes fantastic shopping several times a week! Kind and helpful crew. Good cause. Good store. Love it.
dream CTRL
This neighborhood is occupied by a good number of tasteful donators, who often let go of seemingly new items by great brands and designers. If you have the eye for it, you will find quality here. A few examples from my shopping at Lifelong: Prada, Burberry, J. Crew, Zara, Banana Republic, Boss, Bonobos, Diesel, Puma, Penguin, and Topman.
Amanda Ellsworth
Open and not-so-dingy thrift store--very nice. Good prices, heaps of variety and options. 2 floors
Micheal Linke
Good to see they still take things with the pandemic more seriously than other places.
Keith Gormezano
Wide variety of goods on two floors. If you are looking for a place to donate fine china and other goods, this is the place. Prices are reasonable.
