The White Elephant is a great second hand store. There is a lot of clothing and the prices are very reasonable. You can find some great bargains if you look hard enough. The quality of the items is not the best, but it is still a great place to shop. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Large selection of about anything you think you may need. Lots of people very pushy. Not a relaxing place to shop. Parking lot was full. Some old man hit my truck twice with his car door. Not a place to bring a vehicle you're proud to drive 🚘

Great place to browse and look for treasures or an item to up cycle for your next project. The inventory changes every day so if you see something you want, purchase it. My only complaint is some customers do not practice social distancing and will reach into your personal space and grab an item. Total lack of manners!!! It is still a fun place to go!

Lots of variety. A little bit disorganized. Great vintage and collectibles with some real gems hiding in plain site. Let's not forget, the prices are reasonable! Certainly something for everyone. Hours are a bit odd. Monday thru Saturday from 9am - Noon. If you have a little time its definitely worth checking out.

Always interesting finds. I especially enjoy looking for old magazines, but there's also a great selection of books, old and new. Really low prices for books and magazines. There's also clothing, but i rarely look at it so i wouldn't know the price range. Lots of furniture with decent prices and great condition. Another thing i love is the random glassware and ceramic decoration priced for cheap too. As far as electronics, there's not much to choose from, but they produce them cheap too, such as coffee makers and things like that. The staff is friendly and helpful. Always a fun adventure!

This is a high end second hand thrift store that has very nice used items of all kinds. Furniture, clothes, appliances, computers & electronics...they've got a lot to choose from. It's very busy on the weekends since they're only open from 9am to 12pm, so get here early to get the best pick of the litter. Or better yet come during the week when it's much less packed and you won't have to try to rush and potentially even fight with other customers over a product you both want (seen this happen a lot and my wife has experienced it a few times).

Busy, busy place! The sheer volume of shoppers is the very best indicator that this is a thrift store worth checking out. The hours are short -9 to noon. Closed Sundays. Better to get there soon after they open because things go quickly. Clothing is clean and many items priced at about $5 or less. Lots of Target, H & M, old navy and gap on the racks. Didnt see any higher priced brands when I was there. Otherwise, just about everything you can imagine for home and garden and various hobbies. Definitely worth checking out this clean, organized store. CASH ONLY

Got a great deal on some furniture. Stuff moves VERY quickly. I saw a copper edged mirror I liked, and 5 minutes later it was snapped up by another shopper. If you're serious about a big item, the staff will hold it for you for 30 minutes while you finish shopping. New items every day. Plan on spending a while patiently waiting for a spot in the parking lot.

A thrift store like no other. Clothes, furniture, etc. No junk and everything's clean and organized. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. All volunteer and they donate a grinch of money to equally as many charities. Great place to go.

Huge garage sale in a thrift shop. Only open a few hours a day...(9 to noon - Monday through Saturday). Elder heaven. But... be ready to snatch up that special something quickly, because some of the elders who shop there are quite aggressive...not merely assertive. prices are generally very good. Lots of clothing. Seasonal specials. Checkout is very efficient and volunteers are friendly. Some of the oldest "security guards" I've ever seen.

I go here every time I visit my parents. I don't like that it's only open until noon each day. It gets kind of crowded especially by the collectibles and jewelry so it's hard to look at things. Great prices on books. Inventory changes every day.

The music is always fun. I mean I literally recorded a video last time I was in there because they had the creepiest music I've ever heard playing it was great haha. I use to love going here because you always found amazing stuff and the prices were fair. Plus they gave back to the community. Now 90% of the time it's super picked over and the prices are high for what they have. I've seen a lot of people talking about they dont give as much to charity and I'm curious now if that is true. The parking is horrible most of the time and the furniture section is hard to shop because everyone decides it's a place to go sit and relax or take naps. It's hard to look at sofas and chairs when there's a bunch of people sitting in them. I use to go for the stuff they had. Now I'd say go for a time waster but dont go expecting to find anything.

Love this place. I guess my only complaint is that they close super early so because it's hard for me to get there earlier, I only get to go once in a while. I got an old antique book about space from the 1800's last time I was there, it's worth like $400 and I got it for $10. There's only like 4 copies so that's pretty cool!

Treasures abound in this donation resale store. Prices are incredible for everything from clothing, to bicycles to sporting goods and tools. The book section is magnificent and prices typically 50 cents to a dollar. Oh and your purchases go toward funding local non-profits, so a great deal all around!

Absolutely the best place to shop and donate to in Green Valley. So many people donate that the selection is good and ever changing. You wont find a better selection and probably not better prices in Green Valley. Plus the amount of money they donated back to Southern Arizona is amazing, well worth supporting this non profit. Sure, they dont create jobs like Goodwill does, but if you are cost conscious this is the place.

Get here on time!!!! Trust me!! People wait in lines to get into this place, but there's a reason why! So many good finds at crazy low prices! I found so many dinner plates for my kitchen at 10 cents, 20 cents, 30 cents a piece!! In almost new condition! I also found scrapbooking paper, envelopes, stickers at 10 cents, 25cents, and 50cents! You can buy so much with just $20!! If you get here early you will find stuff that's worth the drive from Tucson! Happy Hunting!!

In this store you will find items of all kinds: clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, kitchen items and for the home, there is everything and at very good prices. They are second-hand items but in good condition, they have excellent customer service. Keep in mind that at noon they close, so go early and take advantage of the time.

Quite a unique place. It operates off donations and volunteers. The money it collects from the donations is then donated to areas that are in need and charities. You can find some real gems there. The prices are very nice as well as the people. Be sure to get there early as people seem to linr up well before the sure is opened.

I love this local thrift shop! Be sure to get there a little before 9am to get a parking spot, otherwise wait until the first crowd clears out around 10am. It's always busy when we go. I love the selection, the friendly volunteers, and the fact that I'm supporting my community.

Surprises abound, never know what you might find. There's an unconfirmed story about a woman (whose husband originally didn't want to go) who found $2000 in a purse she purchased for less than $10. Now the husband makes her go whether she wants to or not... Still will find helpful staff and bargain prices - even some items with original price tags still on them. They do keep strict hours, the somewhat brusque volunteer security guards make you aware of the time when it is close to closing.

Give it 3 stars because they don't take debit or charge. I realize they are trying to make money. But, this place is a little gold mine. We got there a 9am to avoid the rush and the parking lot was already full. Just as it is always when this place opens. I had previously gotten some cash the day before, but found other items I wanted to pick up. Not only did the ATM charge me $2.50 fee from the store itself, my bank charged me another $2.50. Come on White Elephant. I bet you'd recoup back that fee with the charge cards by people buying more with their plastic.

It is a tremendous part of the community. It's sales are given to the various charities in the area. All employees r volunteer. All are very glad to assist U in any dept. All the items are very reasonably priced. What a wonderful help to so many people.

And I am at the elephant at least 3 to 4 times a week. And what doesn't work for me I leave the tag attached and donate it back. Love the way elephant!

My grandparents talked about this place before I moved to Sahuarita. I was excited but after seeing it disappointed. The hours are not practical, they close at noon on the weekends. Parking is a nightmare, and it's run by volunteers. The prices are okay, but I have never found anything in the clothes, so it's really not worth it. I've found a few mason jars and a necklace. Some of the furniture looked pretty clean, but not my style. The hours, selection and parking make this place off putting to me. Even if GW is a bit more expensive I'd rather go. GW, next to the 99 cents store and Walmart has better hours, parking and selection. I normally hit up Walmart and GW at the same time, where as the White Elephant is further away and there isn't anything close by but the DMV.

Large variety of just about anything you might want or need. Prices go from very inexpensive to over priced. But they are usually open to making a deal on the used items they have. And if you have anything that is in good shape and useable think about donating it to them so they can continue to help the community.

Hard to understand the appeal of this place. It is open limited hours and as a result it is next to impossible to park and because of the limited hours it tends to be crowded and the customers tend to be less than well-mannered. I would take the Sahuarita Gooodwill over this store any day of the week.

The white elephant is accepting donations of clothing and household furniture. Donated about 30% of my house from all of my rooms to them in November. They came out Three Men and a Truck and they had everything out of my house in 15 or 20 minutes. In my next move I may donate almost everything in my house to these people to this company because it's much more affordable to have them pick it up as a donation then it is for you to hire movers and move it to the next destination. And what's the donation is gifted to the white elephant what a great feeling it is and you are able to help other people in the community.

A thrift shop beyond the usual. Over 600 volunteers with 4 paid employees. Earning over 2 million per year. All of which is returned to the community. Over 300,000 for local schools. Fire departments, soft ball teams, hospice. Nogales children's care. Any reasonable requests. Over 200,000 for scholarships yearly. It's truly a joy to be a volunteer.

Everyone seems to love the white elephant. Being in the retirement community of Green being in the retirement community of Green Valley Arizona Arizona, it seems to get a large variety of items. Selections are good, the prices are good. The big downside though is it's only open from 9 a.m. to noon.

The White Elephant Parade is in October and it's an annual event the whole community loves. They also give out millions in grants each year to local non-profits. All purchases made at the White Elephant (no matter how small) are a direct benefit to the community. Find everything from home renovation bits & pieces to clothes & collectibles. I have found their toy supply is almost always lacking but, maybe I just haven't been there at the right times? Huge record collection, fantastic tchotchkes and gifts. They also have an eBay store! Pop in and get smiled at by their friendly volunteers.
