Esther is an incredible employee. She works so hard every time I’m there. Today there was a rude customer who treated Esther disrespectfully but as always, she continued to treat him with kindness and didn’t let it affect her. She is such a great asset to this Goodwill!

It was clean for a Goodwill but the staff was the most helpful out of all the Goodwill's I've been to this one is the most inviting the people here don't just do there job they do it with a great attitude and kind energy very refreshing

The store itself is decent. It's not in the worst location so it could be a bit cleaner. Some of the items on the shelves are in horrible condition. Stuck on food, stained/ripped clothing, broken items, to name a few. Here's the main issue, you cannot ask the same price for an item that we can literally buy brand new for the same price or less than! I don't know who's in charge of the pricing, but seriously. I'm not paying $4 for a used Walmart shirt what cost $3.98 brand new. Or, $14.99 for a floor lamp that is literally the same price as Target! Even $9.99 for a non name brand jacket with a tear in it. This Goodwill is probably the worse with poor quality items on the shelf and marked up prices. In times like this we look to places like Goodwill to help those of us that can't afford to shop for items brand new. Keep marking up prices and customers will find they get more bang for their buck at Walmart. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel I need to add that during this most recent trip I seen an upper level male employee, talking down to, and frankly pretty rudely to a younger female employee. Could definitely be a one off, we all have bad days. But, customers....don't need to see employees getting mistreated.

The clothing selection has a fair amount of items but not high-quality, for sure. Sometimes the glass items are taped up so overtly that you can’t see that the item is cracked or broken until you get it home. There is a short window for returns. All in all I would say this is not a good store for price, reliability, or quality.

The prices average a bit higher than other Goodwill stores. Probably because of the demographic! It's IS the Melrose District afterall and for that reason you'd think they'd have a better selection. In their defense I did go there a half hour before they closed so it could have been better earlier in the day. I DO recommend it because you never know what you'll find!!!

It may not be the biggest or nicest location in the valley. But you can still find some really nice gently used items at a reasonably price. They have the "half off color of the day" posted each day like all of their stores. I suggest you ask them irregardless though. Occasionally they'll have another tag color for clearance sale items at 90% off too! You won't ever know if don't ask though. Oddly they don't advertise clearance sales or allow the employees to either unless ask...😏LOL!

The smallest Goodwill I have been to in the Valley, which is fine, except it felt like it really wasn't well stocked either. The shelves and racks were sparse compared to other larger Goodwill locations I have been to.

Friendly staff store is in s good location. Buses suck during rush hour but there are plenty of stores up 7th ave to fall in love with. You are sure to always find an amazing deal when you go to any of the valleys goodwill locations!

This is the most fun Goodwill location in Phoenix. I regularly find high end items at this location while watching the high energy staff interact with the lively clientele. If you hang out long enough, you might hear one of their inventive and comedic overhead announcements! Best thrift shop experience by far.

This is a smaller location, as far as Goodwills are concerned in Phoenix, but I have still gotten some great finds, including furniture. The staff are friendly and helpful. 50% of days are amazing, but crowded!

Must base this on the deals available at this particular location.....while the service tends to suffer every time, the deals keep coming... last time here, found a pair of Rockustics Speakers that still retail for about 1800 bucks everywhere...$39.99. Today found a Google home mini Brand new unopened, 10 dollars. An apple 2TB networkable time capsule...15 dollars... keep it coming!

It's a Goodwill. Kind of small, but they have decent stuff. Not sure what the thought process is for pricing, but some of the housewares are more expensive than the dollar store next door.

Not a very large Goodwill. I often bring donated items to this location since it is the closest to my house. If I want to go shopping it's worth the extra drive to visit a different location.

Phoenix needs more places like this. In many more urban cities/states they have dozens of these kinds of places. Places that sell the hottest most hyped sneakers for "sneaker heads" like myself. Not to mention they put on events for the sub culture. Just last week I met @just_wynn @ an event Charles King put on. BEEN HAD THOSE is definitely puttin on 4 the cities HYPEBEASTS and SNEAKERHEADS. The only think that I can possibly critique them on is the fact they try to sell OVER VALUED USED SNEAKER & WHEN THEY BUY ITEMS FROM CUSTOMERS THEY CONSTANTLY LOW BALL YOU THEN TURN AROUND AND SELL SAID ITEM @ A RIDICULOUS PRICE.
