New Life Thrift is a large thrift shop that sells a variety of items, including furniture, clothing, glassware, jewelry, and more. There is a lot packed in and it’s not all organized. The clothing is very unorganized. They offer different sales depending on the day. However, I saw little that coordinated with sale color. The prices are definitely higher than you’d expect at a thrift store. I found many unpriced items. The checkout line was long and took some time. The female employee seemed aggravated by my questions. There is parking behind the store.

They don’t have Apple pay (many don’t) . They take cash or card. Parking lot is located in the back and FREE. They take any size donations. I drive through the back and drop my clothes donations in the big bin. Inside is a lot larger than expected . They have many labeled rooms in accordance to the products . They have anything you can think of . *** The prices are higher than the average thrift store. Still can find good stuff. Not a lot of size variety for toddlers . Not a lot of shoes as well. They had more things for girls than boys . The sales vary but when I went on Saturday it was 1/2 off yellow tag items which I only found like 3 things with yellow tags . They have coats out already. Refer to the images . I bought 3 girl toddler shirts and 1 woman shirt . Check out was super fast. The young lady who checked me out was super nice.

Huge thrift store. Found some good stuff here. Like lots of thrift places some things are way over priced. The furniture here is WAY over priced. Not sure who decides the prices but it's kind of ridiculous charging 800-1000 at a thrift shop. Just because it's old doesn't make it valuable. You'd think since it's for charity they would price items to sell. I've found vintage furniture at high end shops for less than they are charging.

My very first visit here was 08/31/2022 and I felt sooo welcomed. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. I wanted to hug each of them when I left the store. I felt a Jesus presence there. I found everything I was looking for in one visit. I will definitely be returning in the very near future ❤❤❤❤❤

Great day thrifting! I spend hours in here as therapy. Prices are not as thrifty on many items like they used to be, but if you put some time in, you will come out happy with the items you find. My favorite find today was a pair of brand new Clarks flats I got for $10!! Spent $80 total and came out with a pair of VS pants, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs boots, 6 t-shirts, 2 sweatshirts, and a few other misc items.

I have been coming here for years! If you take your time you can find some nice things!! I had been searching for a specific glass bowl one that I only seen in an elderly persons home and low and behold I come here and they have a beautiful one!! I immediately bought it? The customer service is good especially in the womens area, but it could be much better at the register though other than that great place to find some gems!!

I cannot say enough good things about the gentlemen from New Life who came to pick up our antique bed, chair, lamp, and bedding. They were courteous, efficient, and even put together the new bed that arrived while they were there working! I will continue to use this wonderful donation source in the future.

I haven't visited in a year or so, and was surprised and a little dismayed when visiting today. Prices for many things were far far steeper than I remember, and at times, nearly laughable (at least considering the condition). Prices set aside, the staff were polite and the place was busy, so it seems they're still doing well, but I won't likely be returning - at least not frequently.

For a thrift store, The clothes,shoes,purses,houseware and basically everything in the store, are priced unbelievably! They also always have sales For example, the day I went, pink tags were extra 58% off. The yellow tags were an extra 30% off, and so on and so forth. I mean the articles I the store are SO cheap already, and the quality is top notch! 90 % of everything there is Name Brand! You MUST give this place a try if u haven't already. I'm addicted! 😁

My grandmother is moving out of her house, and needed help donating large furniture pieces that we could not move ourselves. She called a dozen different places and they were constantly telling her different things (they could not pick up the furniture, they couldn’t come into the house, they couldn’t come for weeks etc). When she called New Life they answered right away and sent two people to come the next day! Kevin and Justin were an IMMENSE help! They were extremely efficient, and when there was a MASSIVE furniture piece that the store wouldn’t accept, they offered to bring it down from the second floor for us anyway. This piece was the biggest pain, and my grandmother was very stressed about how to get it removed from her house. My grandmother is very appreciative, and wants everyone to know how much New Life and Kevin and Justin helped us in this very stressful time!

i come here a lot. I always find a bunch of good things. if you ask for a member card (it's free) you can get 10% off on mondays. very busy on saturdays, go during the workday if you can. I love this place so much. I'm always wearing at least one thing from here.

This is the premiere thrift in the Abington/Jenkintown area. It is large, organized, clean and well stocked every time I go. The store has clearly defined areas for furniture, linens, art, electronics, household items, shoes and clothing. There is free parking behind the store. There is a loyalty program that gives you a percent off on your purchase. There is a store in Philly on Cheltenham Ave, but it is much smaller. It is in a strip mall so there's plenty of free parking. As both stores are church affiliated they are both closed on Sundays. Check their website or call either store for donation guidelines.

Handbags are organized by color, picture frames by size, everything is sorted nicely, it's a very organized thrift store. But the prices are high, frequently matching what you would pay retail, on furniture in particular. $500 dressers, $400 kitchen tables. I was interested many items but didn't buy much because of the high prices. $50 for a very worn play kitchen that needed repair. $20 for off brand, worn kids snow boots. $8 and $12 beaded necklaces.

I have only been there once, on January 21, 2019 so take my opinion for what it is worth. I agree with many of the people who have written reviews. The prices are too high. If you are an eBay reseller you will NOT be able to "buy low and sell high." They had a lot of high-end clothing priced as it would be in eBay. There is no profit margin for resellers like there is on some items at many thrift stores. I will not go back to the store because the prices are too high.

It's a huge store with lots of options, but you have to be careful. Things are sometimes priced very high, and while it is a good item it is not a great deal; but it's to their advantage to not let things go just for quick turnover. I purchased a $50 used Kitchaid Food Processor, and got home to set it up to realize a key piece that made it function was missing -- the disc stem, and is not available online for this model. I'm bummed because I had a great time at this store with the wide selection and spent a few hundred there on items, but I wish they evaluated returns on a case by case basis such as this -- I had no way of knowing when I opened the bag of contents that was covered in packing tape to keep it shut, pieces would be gone. I just found another used one at another thrift store for $25.... I learned a good lesson about impulsivity.

This place is great you could spend over an hour walking through. It looks small from the street but it is huge inside. They have everything you can think of clothes, tons of shoes, purses, dishes, glasses, curtains, blankets furniture, bird cages, hamster cages the list goes on and on... all the staff I ran into were so nice. Great place I can't wait to go on a rainy day to kill some time.

This store re-defines the word thrift and takes it to another level. It has raised the bar beyond what you would normally expect from most others. Leave your preconceived misconceptions at the door because what you will find here is nothing less than astonishing. An incredible place to find a plethora of higher end items including clothing, furniture and great gift ideas. They're two stores are always packed with fresh merchandise and they also have a warehouse which one can visit by appointment only. Once you've experienced New Life Thrift you will be hard pressed to find another that comes even close to achieving what this store seems to have done with ease.

Prices, to me at least, we're a bit high for a "Thrift Store". $800 for a dresser is a bit much. But clothes were very reasonable. Huge selection of glassware and dinnerware. Easy drop off if you are donating.

Hit or Miss: Prices have gotten out of hand lately. Furniture is way, way over priced, ridiculous. Many other items are simply unreasonably over priced, it's a shame. Sometimes you can find something really good, but the price will knock you out. I wonder if they actually want to sell the items, they get them for free, give people a break already! $50 for a used wool blanket? Really? Keep it. Half that price is a stretch. Sometimes a good find here, but you'll pay a lot for it, mostly you'll be put off by prices.

On a few occasions I went to New Life Thrift store to get assistance for homeless individuals and for my Kensington community. Years ago Jen Nicholaides and more recently, Tina Shema problem solved for me. Jen donated used items (toys and sometime later a ton of Christmas decorations) that the store didn't need anymore (which I was able to sell as a fund raiser and gave the remainder to people in my community) and Tina gave me a gift certificate to purchase items in the store. I purchased. LL Bean boots and numerous pairs of clothes for a homeless client. He was very happy with the items. New Life met me in a very special way on these and other occasions. The staff have a lot of.heart❤

Best thrift store in the area. Plan on spending a couple hours here if you want to thoroughly look through the entire store. Aside from the normal thrift store finds like clothing, furniture and toys, you can also buy crafts, holiday decorations and early 20th century art. Everything is so neat and organized..not overwhelming like other thrift stores..they actually have departments..it like shopping in a department store...the proceeds from the sales go to real places .they have it all on display for you to see where you money is going and who it helps ....

Obnoxious Christian Managers!!!!!! I’ve been a faithful donator and customer for past several years; donated hundreds of books and tons of other stuff. Recently I experienced something I never imagined….. I bought a Bissell 3-in-1 hand vacuum Model No 38B1 for $15.00 + tax. It was my 3rd vacuum cleaner from this place. After I came home, I learned it is currently sold for $19.88 on line store, and mine was missing other two attachments. So, I went back to the store because I thought it was not a fair price. When I met and explained to “Store Manger”, he came along with his assistant. He took the merchandise for research. When he came back he said “At eBay store they are selling it for $39.99 and even if you buy missing parts it will be less than what it is.” What?!!!!!?? I even told him that at Walmart is selling for $19.88 and now he’s saying his price is from ebay so I should be happy with the price? Maybe his computer cannot access to Walmart? And he said “There is nothing I can do.” And he was about to walk a way. At that moment, I heard his assistant was murmuring with a faint voice, so, I asked him “What did you say, I couldn’t hear.” And this assistant said “You can give us the merchandise back(as a donation) or you can take it back with you.” I was so stunned! Do I look this cheap over a $15.00? For past several years, I have helped this organization, and this is happening. Oh, my Lord! So, without any hesitation, I gave them the merchandise, donated it. And I asked for their Manager, and these two young men said, “There is no manager above us.” And they both walked away. It was not hard to find their manager, there was an Operational Manager on site. And I met and talked to her the problem and she promised me she will get back to me after investigating the situation. I emailed her the website where I found the price. Two days later, I received email back from her saying, “Would you resend your letter? It was inadvertently deleted this morning.” If then, how she found out my email address? It was kind of odd….. So, I called her and we started talk about it, and minutes later she mentioned that “Nobody forced you to purchase the merchandise here!” I was stabbed this time. They were both Christians and this place is as they proudly saying “Non Profit Organization for the Community” What a pathetic managers....... When I shared these experiences with other people working there, they all shook their heads and said “Sorry for your experience” From now on, I don’t think I will donate a thing to this place any more….

I have been visiting this shop for a couple of years. While you can find SOME bargains, I have seen in the last 6 months to a year or so the pricing of items has become ridiculous. Some items are priced SO out of line. Other items that (example: Ceramics) are chipped and cracks are priced way too high. If it is a chipped item the price should reflect that. Ex: There was a statue that had 3 different chips - one was really a big one....and it was priced at 40.00....I wouldn't pay 40.00 for the item if it were perfect! There was a Fenton Vase that had a REALLY BAD Chip and VERY NOTICEABLE and it was priced at $30.00....WHAT?!!! Just think they need to examine the pricing - whoever is making the decision is pricing out of line!
