Awesome thrift store and super well organized. I wish I lived closer to here, but also thankful I don't! They have a lot of variety of home decor and I found some really cute pieces. The clothes are typically older with some really cheap ones from Shein, but there are some great hidden gems. This is definitely one of my top inexpensive thrift stores near Philly.

I really like this store and have been shopping here for a few years now. It's a large store, clean, organized, great inventory, and reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that it is very annoying to see the same certain people loitering/stalking near the back of the store for hours, I guess waiting for new items to come out? It seems like no matter when I go the same people are there. I don't think that is being considerate or fair to other customers, and I really dislike the store's practice of allowing them to do this. It's supposed to be shopping, not loitering/stalking at the back of the store.

This is an extremely well organized store. Clothing and shoes all arranged by size, which makes shopping so much easier. The store is VERY large with a huge selection of everything. Three aisles of books makes it a great place to go if you love reading, but don't want to pay book store prices. They have a decent selection of furniture, as well. Lots of jewelry, too! Prices are typical for a thrift store. They are not trying to be a consignment style store. Reasonable prices with a slight mark up on more valuable brand names and wares. I highly recommend this store for Thrifters!

Today was 50% off and my first time there. The store is large and I got quite a bit of things at great prices. Besides being a great store to shop I have to give huge Kuddos to an employee named Marvette. Im disabled and by time I was done shopping I was in a lot of pain so Marvette got me a chair to sit in while she wrapped and rang all my items up at the jewelry counter so I didn’t have to wait in the long lines!!! I didn’t even ask for any help but she noticed I wasn’t feeling well and took charge from A to Z for me!! AND she walked me out to the parking lot and put my stuff in back of my truck!!!!! A huuuuge Thankyou to Marvette for taking the time to care ❤️ I enjoyed getting to know her while chatting in the parking lot. What a beautiful soul and soon to be first time Grandma. Very well organized and there is a lot of stuff to find here. They have a large selection of books and household items, as well as clothing. Some of the clothing is overpriced though. Employees were very nice. I would come back again to search for more thrift finds.

I always love shopping 2nd Ave Thrift Stores. But over the last two years prices have increased dramatically. I'll just use one item as an example....books. When I first started shopping there you could get kids books 5/?$1.00. Adult paperback 3/$1.00. Hardback novels were $1.00. The prices have continued to raise but today I was shocked. Books are individually priced with a hardback novel costing $6.99. I saw a game marked $12.99. Come on 2nd Ave these items are used. They are costing you nothing. So yes, you give to charities but how about some charity to your patrons. Without them you would only have merchandise.

Extremely large thrift store that offers everything at good or fair prices. The store is organized and has a lot of items. If definitely takes time to go through it all. For the most part the store is clean. A few clothing items were on the floor but that likely was due to customers. The dressing rooms were a bit crowded. Great deals on discount days.

They've recently updated their look and the way the items are set up, and its looking much nicer! The prices are always good, especially if you go by the sales they often have. (Clothing can be around $8 or lower for shirts, pants, etc. I recently bought shirts that were around $4.99 each and 50% off each.) Yes, sometimes there are clothes with stains or problems, but that is few and far between (at least for me). They also have many things that are still in boxes or still have the tags from the original store/brand. I say its worth it to shop here, especially if you need to be on a budget.

The store is always clean, neat and organized. They provide a wide selection of items to purchase. You can always get some additional savings by finding out which tag colors are on sale. Occasionally, you can find some high end designer clothes on the racks!

This is my absolute favorite place to shop in the world! Everything I wear I bought there. I’ve been shopping at village thrift for decades and even when I started working full time and made good money, I only shopped there. I think to myself why would I pay top dollar for name brand clothes when I can pay a fraction of the price at village thrift! It doesn’t make sense to me, I have found boots that were priced over $200.00 on line and paid $20.00 for them at village! Brand new too. The workers are always pleasant as well as the cashiers. They have half off certain colors I believe Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. Check on those days because they could have changed.

Savings galore! Very friendly sales team! I forget his name, but the heavyset Black gentlemen with locs in his hair was very helpful, convinced me to become a rewards member and engaged me in a brief but pleasant conversation. Bought 3 slacks, 2 pairs of jeans, 4 shirts, and 3 coffee mugs for 84 dollars! I've been losing weight and need low cost wardrobe replenishment, I'll definitely be back.

Big place compared to other thrift stores. Not the prettiest store, but has good selection of clothes for the whole family. Also has books, electronics, home decor, jewelry, limited furniture, toys, etc. You have to be diligent and examine carefully. Some stuff may be damaged, but you can find some gems. I got 2 Armani suits for $40, Ralph Lauren, & other brand name for cheap. Weekends are full price and I think certain weekdays are half price. I would call ahead to check.

Too often, people make the mistake of assuming that every "thrift" store is affiliated with a charity of some kind. Some are for profit stores and should be held to the same standards. This place (fka "Village Thrift") doesn't quite measure up. The prices were far higher than one might expect from a thrift store. The store was basically clean and organized but, for the prices, one might expect the home decor and other shelved "department" to be more neatly grouped. I found one item that was fairly priced and headed to the checkouts, only to find long lines at every open register. Again, were this a non-profit I might be less likely to just put my purchase back and leave (, which is what I did,)

Large selection, clean and organized. Short lines to try on clothes. Like any thrift store, great finds are there depending on when you go. Staff is nice and I never had to wait long for lines. Discounts for some days for certain color tags, I only remember the one on Sundays. I make special trips there all the time.

I have driven past this store for years and was always curious as to why this place is so popular. I now know, I decided to check it out this week and was blown away by the cleanliness and organization of the store. I am a frequent thrift store shopper and never have I ever seen a place like this. The aisles are organized by size, color, and occasion. Even the shoes were cleaned and had correct size stickers on them! Nothing looked dingy or old, selection is great, and all of the aisles were well stocked with toys, office supplies, furniture, decorations, you name it. Want a belt, formal dress, or wedding dress? They have it.

Items were very organized, however since my last visit they only do one tag 50% off and the other 33% off whereas before both tags were 50% off. Some clothing items stained, ripped and they won't discount any further.

This is a great place to shop for used, name brand items. Well-stocked with a large variety of slacks, shirts, sweaters and shoes. I bought a new Tommy Hilfiger black, full length trench coat for $20 because, while in the store shopping, they announced 50% off all clothing!!!! So I continued shopping and found a very gently used Banana Republic coat for $15. Go when you have lots of time to shop and go by yourself so you won't feel pressured to "hurry". If you take your time and browse through the many, many racks of clothing, I promise you won't be disappointed. There is a men's section, toys and household items. I highly recommend.

This place is huge, with a good selection of women's clothing. If you're willing to take some time to sift through the racks, you're usually going to find some good pieces. The selection isn't as tightly curated as some of the smaller thrift stores that have a "boutique" kind of vibe, but you're also not going to be weeding through mountains of clothes that have clearly seen better days. Most of the clothes are in very good shape, and some even still have original tags on them.

This place is.....one of my favorites. It has just about anything you can think of and the staff is super helpful and nice. Theres plenty of room to park and plenty of room to move through the aisles when you get inside to shop. The prices are definitely reasonable and surprisingly enough, this is one of the cleaner and more organized thrift stores in the area! I recommend checking it out if you are a thrifty person such as myself 🤑😊

This is the very first place you should go when shopping for clothes and electronics, household items and jewelry. The prices are very affordable and the merchandise is in excellent be condition. All day long they are placing new items on the sales floor!!! I am ALWAYS getting complements from complete strangers on how nice I dress . They assume I spent hundreds of dollars on my outfits. I absolutely love this store but better than the store is the people that work there. The man and the woman managers to the cashier's to everyone on the floor could not be nicer they are the nicest people. I shop there weekly and I never know what I'm going to leave with but I definitely leave with there with a smile because of the people who work there. Kind, considerate, genuine people who are friendly and sincere. The people make all the difference in whether or not you're going to return to a store and shop again because a thrift store if you find nothing there you may not return again but if you find Smiles there you're definitely going to come back and try again to find something. I just found brand new with tags on it clothing from everyone from Gucci to Vera Wang to Banana Republic and even Lane Bryant.

It is a very large store, and there's a wide selection of clothing, shoes, housewares, & furniture there. Some of the prices are creeping upwards to the point of: a shopper almost being better off buying new clothes marked down for clearance. That said: there are some very good deals to be had if you shop carefully.

This is a great thrift store, worth the trip. It's inside an old grocery store so it's large and theres plenty of parking. The employees take the time to sort almost everything in the store. The prices are competitive. I have not run into anything here I would consider over priced. The clothing section is large and of good quality. The same can be said of the electronic section, household section and toy section. It is often crowded but there is enough inventory and space for everyone.

First visit was this week for their black friday sale and I must say it was well worth the drive. The store was clean and well organized. I left with quite a few "gems" brand new with original tags. The best of all was finding a brand new Talbot's dress $128 and getting for $13. I'll be back real soon.

The other times I've been here the clothing is in great order, by size, and type...but this last visit left me wondering, 'what's up V T?' The sections were a mix of sizes! I know everyone has a bad day so I'm sure it was that. The other sections, of which there are many, were well stocked. Glassware, electronics, home knickknacks, curtains, toys, belts, shoes, furniture, so much...just go!

Brand new stuff,used stuff,jewelry fake and real.. Prices are reasonable. Expect to be in there for at least 30min -1hr minimum especially on Monday Thursday and Sunday when certain color tags are 50% off.. This place is the super store of thrift stores.. Electronics,wedding dresses,shoes.. I could go on and on.. And when you're done and hungry theres a nice restaurant next door that you can easily walk to.. Enjoy ppl and have fun shopping!!!

I really like this Thrift Store, it's basically clean, color coordinated, and by size for the most part. The staff is friendly and helpful. My main complaint is why they waste time changing colors each day to show what's on sale. Just be consistent and give a certain discount for different days of the week.

This is my favorite thrift store out of all the thrift stores I have been in. I think the prices went up a little bit,but the quality that your paying for is worth it. There are a lot of name brand items I find there that are worth paying for. I love the display of pocketbooks &wallets that you have. There has never been a time I went in there and didn't come out with a couple pocketbooks and wallets. I love village thrift and will continue shopping there. The only thing that will disappoint me is if the store closes and I don't think that will happen.

Absolutely the BEST thrift store around. I can't begin to tell you the deals. I got a BRAND NEW $350 wool GUESS coat (tags still on it) for $12! I've gotten designer shoes, bags, suits, and a ton of great vintage clothing there. Plus, the stuff is organized! You don't have to dig through racks of stuff. Everything is in size and color order. Love this place but sometimes it's a long wait at register. I think they are more busy than Wal-Mart lol. Usually i find unique things and some good brand name clothes. What i dislike is sometimes i feel like people get a little to close to your purse so i suggest using a crossbody or none.

It still is a good place for low priced goods and clothing. However, the men's clothing department is heavily oriented to large and larger sizes with minimal selections of medium and small sizes.

I recommend coming on Mondays; they offer half off certain tag colors and then 33% off the others, so everything is discounted! It is pricier than say, Goodwill, but everything is organized, clean, and still a way better deal than retail prices.

I yearn for the olden days of village thrift past, before the paint job, clothes came off the walls, and the prices went up. At least there is a dressing room area now! But only 5 items at a time is annoying. My favorite sections are women's clothing and the small baggies of things like soap samples. You are allowed to use the bathroom but you must walk through the sorting area, which is kind of cool and weird at the same time. In the front is a section of fancy name brand higher priced items.

It's a good store. Depending on what you are looking for the prices could be a little high. But for the most part their prices are on par if not lower then most thrift stores. I have only been there once. But it's a huge store so odds are you will find something different on each visit. Also whoever said it's cash only is wrong. When I went I paid with my card.

You can find some great deals and the store is huge. There is also a goodwill about a mile away so you can hit both stores. They have a ton of clothing for sale and once in a while offer half price for anything in the store.

I've shopped here on 3 seperate occasions, twice on weekends, once during the week. All 3 times were pleasant, tho the weekends this place can be a bit of a mad house. 1st time was a week day around Christmas & I was w/ my b'friend. The store was well kept, not TOO many places where things were left in isles or on the floor & dressing room was quick & easy to get in to. I honestly don't recall my 2nd trip! My 3rd trip was a few days ago on a sunday. Parking was plentiful & even had no hard time getting 2 shopping carts (was with a friend). The isles were clear, plenty of staff to keep things neat & since all the clothes are put in color order & seperated by size, finding what I needed was easy. They have great selections & was surprised at how many items were new! I loaded up my cart & waited very briefly for a dressing room. There is a 5 item limit but when the line got long, the attendent let me bring in 10 items to get me out quick! The only thing I can say I'm not thrilled about was the lack of English speaking employees. Given it's location, that is sort of expected but it was still frustrating at times. Tho, I will say, she did point me in direction (literally) of someone who could help & the cashiers were bi-lingual. Other than that, all the staff were friendly & helpful, the store was kept clean as best it could given the sheer volumn of people there & the prices just can not be beat. Hours are: M- Sat : 0900 - 2100 Sun : 1000 - 2000

I'm really tall so it's really tough finding pants long enough 2 fit. Most places don't have a single pair my size without spending a butt load of money 4 special order. Just found a couple pair cheap.

Village Thrift is a decent place. I often find affordable clothes, shoes, and kitchenware here (I'm talking $4-8 for a pair shoes or shirt this is really good in a land of overpriced thrift stores). The furniture section is usually pretty sad, however. If they have any it will be at the front.

Who, me, yes you shop at the Village Thrift store. I've been shopping at thrift stores sice I was 14 and the city of brotherly love actually had summerjobs for all eligible students. We learned to live with what we had, and a dollar went a long way back then, and still does. Go in, that one thing you thought you could never buy could be on the rack.
