Reviews of The Goodwill Outlet
Oh man we got $70 worth of stuff which was an entire shopping cart full of craft goodies and good books!!! I'm impressed got some stuff that would have cost me over $150 if it was bought at Hobby Lobby. Great deals to be found here!
Awesome place with TONS of stuff and you can literally find anything. But there is a reason I give it 3 stars it’s a very dirty place everything there you need to clean also it’s a very violent kinda place where you will be shoved
I been shopping at this specific location and even before when they were located on 36th street between Q and L street. If you familiar with goodwill retail store with every item with a set price well this place is not that. Everything is sold by weight otherwise a price will be quoted. Each day you never know what will show up. It's always a surprise if you like surprises of course! I feel like this place is a down right blessing to even have the opportunity to shop at. Finding a treasure takes time and effort if you don't have patience better just skip to my Lou and go back home. Those that have patience will find treasures unimaginable. Give this place the most patience possible and you will succeed to greatness. My uttermost respect for the gentleman named " Robert " that gave his all and did above n beyond for Goodwill. He will be missed greatly. May the Lord give him wings! God Bless
It takes some time, but you can find some really neat stuff here very cheap. Just go in with an open mind, be patient, and stay out of aisles when they are closed. This is not your typical thrift store experience, but it can be fruitful.
The most fun experience to come shopping here!! The bins are unique as it’s random collections of all sorts of things. You have to hunt, but you never know what you might find!
You got to be careful because they do it by weight I had put something in the cart that was not supposed to make it to the end but I did not in fact get to go through my car before I had paid it was just weighed and I had to buy a stool for probably 13- 14 dollars not happy should have bought that completely separate from the whole cart but didn't even get the chance to separate
Great place! Been going for years and have never been disappointed! You will be surprised the things you can find for such low prices! 10/10!
Good selection -- just remember to wash your hands afterward, as you *will* have to really rummage through stuff. Aisle closures didn't go very well because their loudspeaker system is terrible, so pay close attention to that. However, I got a lot of good stuff -- good deals too, but I made the mistake of not going past 20 lbs. of stuff.
I love good will
But I wasnt at goodwill wearhouse
I was at good bytes which was next to it
I was able to pick up a copy of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas for $3.99
And a new webcam for $5.99
Peso to start off this is a really good place to get cheap stuff before it goes into the regular stores is kind of like a distribution Center for stuff that wasn't sold they do things by weight so if you look at things or light like pillows and blankets you might pay a little bit more than what they're actually worth like I had to pay kind of like $7 for a pill that's used which isn't really all that great of a deal but everything else if you look at it it's by weight you have to hurry up. They're certain I'll pick what you want and then they just weigh it and then you just pay for the weight of everything that's different weights for different things but I had a lot of fun got a few pillows and stuff for about 8 bucks nine bucks and I'll to get about 15 bucks not a bad deal
I give it a four for the great prices. It's weighed to get your price so you have to figure if the price will be reasonable enough once weighed to be a bargain. More you buy less you pay per pound..sometimes you can ask for lower price if it's way to high. New items are thrown in the bins every hour. Bring gloves. It's all thrown in together. No matter what your looking for it eventually will show up there. Keep going till you find it. Of course I always end up buying some major bargain while I'm there. I'm looking to get a shed to put it all in. Or start my own store. It's fun an adventure . You have to try it at least once you'll be back.
I've been to several of the goodwill outlets between Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. In comparison to those I've been to:
-This location had a much larger selection of beds/bed frames etc, large exercise equipment, lawn mowers/snow blowers and furniture then any of the others I've been to.
-There were almost no clothes. The occasional clothing item mixed in with everything else in the bins here and there but *when I was there* there were no bins of just clothing which at all the other locations I've been to clothing was 3 bins to every 1 bin of anything else.
-I was there late afternoon about 3 hours before closing and it was not busy at all. Maybe 20-30 other people there.
-bulk pricing just like all the others.
-it was easy to get to & see from the street. Seemed to have plenty of parking but again I went when it wasn't crowded so can't say if there's enough parking during its busy hours.
-as for what I found in the bins? Same quality and cleanliness as every single other one. Never know what you're going to find (good or dirty haha)
-staff was friendly when I checked out.
Overall if I was back in town I would visit again and I would recommend this location to others interested in going to 'the bins'.
Good luck!
It's fun to rummage through and find that diamond in the rough but be ready for the other customers to be very rude and pushy. It hasn't stopped me from going but I'm just waiting for the time that end up getting me and someone being too pushy banned from returning. Good luck!
Been here a few times. What an experience! There is great opportunities to get some nice items. Having to race to get to stuff kind of no fun. But I have come out with a few very inexpensive items, with great value.
Obviously this place isn't for the average shopper- but I love it. I love the challenge of picking through and finding cool, vintage & valuable items. The current staff there is also friendly. Bring your gloves rookies!
Amazing Company and GoodBytes has all my needs from server computers too Gaming Systems they have almost every device you can think of refurbished and working in top notch shape and condition. Ive found tons of video games consoles controllers all a super reasonable price!! I 100% percent recommend this place as the prices are LOW!! GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
I really love this store! You have to really look and sort, but you can find lots of treasures!
I do have to say it is TOO HOT in the building. It would be nice to crank the air a bit. I personally would stay longer if it was just a bit cooler.
Also, 1 suggestion, have hand sanitizer or wet wipes available to wipe hands
A lot of times things are dusty and a bit dirty, it kind of is a pain to have to keep going to the restroom to wash your hands.
Its ok.. not the best goodwill they need more clothes bins and when you first arrive you need 2 things... A mask and gloves. 2nd thing is its all random bins of misc stuff. So if you enjoy treasure hunts this is for you but if you simply looking for simple stuff like clothes go to another goodwill location honestly hence why 4 stars this location
Great place if you love to thrift! just fill the cart up and check out!
I love this place! You never know what you are going to find! Yes, there is trash, broken items in the blue "bins". BUT there is also some amazing items! If im needing an item like I needed a radio for my bathroom the other day, I knew I would find one here & a few days later I DID! Payed about $1.oo for it. Works great & looks great! Plan on being here for a couple hours at least. Im polite but some others are not. I concentrate on looking at items & not the people. All types of people here. Give this store a chance!
Staff has been better. Lots of selection. I still dont understand the pricing exactly. Will someone please explain? Ive asked staff but i dont think they knew for sure and i like there signs but doesnt tell me how much things weigh
Shopped and was assisted by a Ms. Charity, she took time out when she was real busy to help and answer questions. I felt that was so sincere and kind, they appeared to be short staffed but she came across the store to help a second time! I'm grateful for the very reasonable prices and helpful staff, their all very kind and thank you Charity for suggesting Goodwill discount card, it was greatly appreciated. I will return here, your AWESOME!!! 🕊👍😀
You just gotta be in the right place at the right time. Sometimes those blue bins get wheeled out and they're full of treasures, and sometimes it's all VHS tapes and broken toys. Either way, the price is right and most often I can find something that makes my stop worthwhile. This is not the place to go if you are looking for something specific.
I have had amazing experiences here. The staff is strict but they have to be to keep things in order. They are amazing caring people. I am super thankful for the opportunity to shop at tge wearhouse
Associates happy to help. Gloves required. Gloves were provided but you’re much better off bringing your own pair for a better fit.
Not my type of shopping but there are many great finds time to time and usually the staff are knowledgeable about most of the items. The second hand clothing gives a great way for ppl to acquire outfits and clothing in general.
Basically a Goodwill Outlet, it's not just used clothes. You pay by the pound with different prices for different total weights. If you have somewhere between 15 and 20 pounds of stuff, throw more stuff in your cart until you're at 20 pounds. It's cheaper that way, and you get more for your money.
Very unfriendly employees and the stuff that is in the bins can be gross. I picked up a book and it was SO sticky.
I had a slow guy try to start a fight with me , I didnt know you could NOT touch any random OR abandoned cart but I did find great finds and a $20 bill in the pocket too
Huge warehouse and nice place to get donations by the pound in rotated bins! Staff seems to tell at customers though, when they close the aisles to bring out new merchandise.
So different! But was fun not your regular laid out on hanger and selves instead pay but the pound!
The saddest place ive ever been to in my entire life. Its garbage. All of it. This may actually be more degrading than actually dumpster diving.
This store is fantastic and the staff is not rude in the least. Charity and Dakota are wonderful. I have been shopping here for 9 months and LOVE IT.
Bring hand sanitizer. Don't bring any expectations. It's fun to dig around for treasures and has cheap furniture.
Favorite place to dig through junk (and sometimes treasures)! Pretty good price per pound, and definitely worth it to get 50 lbs!
Both store and items in the store could be cleaner, but definitely have a decent amount of clothes and items to go through.
Depends on your taste good quality stuff but to pricey for me when you consider they are donations. But they do fund a good cause.
Love the stuff here. Awsome......... pay by the pound. I find things I never knew I needed.
Prices are reasonable, Staff is nice, and for the most part they keep the bins full, and the place clean.
I'm stuck as I write this. For 1) There are lots of "hidden" surprised here. Some can be valuable. 2) Alot of it is just junk.
Loved it. Great scavager hunt. Sales associates are awesome. Will be coming here again.
You can find some gems in here if you are patient enough for a steal. The people are very kind and will help you if you need anything.
I always find some treasure there. Some small like the painted pinecones and some larger like the beautiful mirror.
You got look but you can find most anything and everything at one point or another and even the odd rare jem in the bens
Hello .! The computer part, door north of main entrance Super buys And every employee is very knowledgeable and easy to understand
Great place to find stuff if you are willing to hunt for it. Great people here
Love it anything for what ever u need. Have found some good things.
If you like bargain shopping this is the place to go. Everything from soup to nuts.
Wow what great deals. Friendly staff very organized....organized chaos lol.
I love this store is like therapy
Very good love this place and all the people here
The bins are great. Employees are.ok..customers not so much
Always find a great deal on stuff, just really depends on your patience and what your looking for!
It was very nice I like it but some people smell very bad and try to steal vintage
There are all these bins and u look through them to see what u want and then u pay by the weight... once u go there u will keep going no stpp
I love this place! This one in particular because of paying by weight!
Downright scary sometimes! Bring gloves. The deals are great.
Got what I needed at first sight but the place is dusty and dirty. And smells
Holy stuff. Pay by the pound. It's intense. Bring gloves.
Love this place. .. Had so much fun!!
Found lots of high end items each time I go
great. good buys. keep it simple. I'll be back!
The place was mayhem, but We found some good stuff
Best goodwill in town! Super cool items and super great employees
Love going there, find things i cam afford
Wasn't sure about this place. With the name WAREHOUSE IN the name its misleading they ONLY have electronics no clothes or housewares.
It was good price a lot of different things to look at
Crazy people pushing to get at new containers of products. Lots of different merchandise.
Lots of good stuff and very affordable prices
Once in awhile you can find something amazing
INCREDIBLE BI'S OR JUST CURIOUS, YOU TELL ME.
A fun store to visit. Be ready to dig and explore.
You have to get used to the enviroment, but it is a good place
Slow staff. They don't seem to care about the customers.
Stay in the store area, the warehouse was quite hot and humid lol
Fun place but wear gloves
Best place in the World to go junking!!! Or people watching!!!!
Not a typical Goodwill store, you buy stuff by the pound. And by stuff I mean literally trash.
There not what I expected but it was cool.
A lot of work and didn't find anything.
It is what it is, a warehouse, no communication with staff, could use a cleaning
If you stay long enough, you can find anything in this place.
Really enjoyed this type of thrift experience.
Pretty nice. $2 furniture!
Best place for used clothes/furniture.
Bring a glove to wear and be courteous.
