Amazing Value Village type store in NJ. I hunt down vintage toys and the selection here is MASSIVE. Not to mention entitled else under the sun. Parking sucks but not much they can do about that. I will be back.

The prices in the Elizabeth store are getting way to expensive!!! They are selling many things from the Dollar Store ( probably bought at $1.00 before the prices went up to $1.25) for $2.99 😒 I only bought the items that were 50%-75% off to be able to get a few bargains. The prices there seem to be a bit higher than the other Uniques. The front end people are very nice 👌

They have so many things to choose from. I told myself ah 30 mins tops......I spent two hours there and still feel like I didn't see everything. I love books and comics and they have it. They even have little soap bags which makes it easier for the less fortune to clean themselves. The staff was so sweet too. I am definitely coming back to this store.

Great place to shop in a great location near public transportation.. you will find lots of name brands from children's clothes, accessories, books, household goods, and more.... Baby strollers, exercise equipment, tv's, lamps, art, books, pots, dishes, school supplies, pillows, curtains, toys, clothing, plants, etc.....The prices are reasonable in my opinion compared to what it was a few years ago. Everything I ever purchase there is excellent quality although you should inspect everything you buy... With $100 or less you could buy house decorations, gifts, clothing for family and other items... Thank God for Uniques!

Stopped in hoping to find a few nice button down blouses. Found a couple as well as a nice blazer/jacket and a very decent lightweight jacket for my grandson. Cost of the 4 items - $28.96. Not bad - but I've made comparable purchases at lower prices in other thrift stores. Over time they have raised their prices - but then...who hasn't? Overall though - I enjoy browsing/shopping at Unique.

It's nice to get things at a low price but women clothes for young girls isn't so big here. I do bring my kid because there are lots of toys she can choose from at a really nice price.

This is a great store and "most" of the people that work here are really friendly (with the exception of a few women that work behind the counter......people are going to ask to see things.....you don't need to be miserable about it). If someone is at the counter and doesn't want to check a bag, they obviously are interested in buying something. Ask if they want help or would like to see something? Again, it's not everyone at the store that is miserable, but a few people that work the counter would be fired if I were the manager. My biggest issue is downstairs. It is not a playground and people shouldn't let their kids run around, breaking toys, opening up sealed items, shooting Nerf guns. The customers and the staff are NOT babysitters for your kids. Finally, if you are complaining about prices being expensive, wait until Monday when everything is 25% off or get the app where just about every week they send a 50% off coupon. The store donates proceeds to charity.......if they gave away stuff, they wouldn't be able to give to charity or provide jobs for the people that work there.

Best days to go are 50% off days. Huge savings and great finds. Found a Burberry hoodie for 7.99 and then take the discount off of that. Omg. Brand new the flexx Nordstrom Brand boots for 5 bucks. Rabbit fur and wool long coat Anne Taylor 12.50. So much to find. Dont like the location but there is a dollar tree up the block. Bus 59 drops me off in front so it's pretty convenient. Great finds. Been coming here for 2 years and I never leave on a sale day without great finds.

Not a glamourous store by any stretch of the imagination, but he will plenty of unusual finds, fashion, beauty, and furniture. You can get unbelievable buys, have a good eye for products sold for much more in upscale stores. Wear comfy shoes to browse the aisles upstairs for kids, women and men. Downstairs is exhausting array of electronics, household goods, bedding and toys. I'm hooked on Unique, I shop there often, you should, too!

Good place to find deals, but always check your items thoroughly. Often found items with holes, missing buttons or brokwn zippers. Selling very worn and beat up shoes for $10. Found some great items, but o xant emphasize enough to check well before you leave!!!

Hands down if your willing to look they sell really nice stuff sometimes even new but the only problem I have is the security guard I mean the dude is basically stalking you when your trying to look at the stuff and he's looking at you as you where to steal or something I mean didn't you know security guard whatever your name is that the money I spend here goes straight into your paycheck so you need to chill before you end up losing that paycheck.

I have been shopping at unique since it opened..the prices have gone up considerably..but if you like to hunt for bargains, this is the go to place. for me, it is crossing a bridge and paying 6 bucks to park. we need one in staten island...we are the only boro without a unique. i know there was one, but it closed when the rented was raised..please consider opening on staten in another location...before staten islanders walk through your doors, we have already spend 20 bucks!
