The store is large so you'll generally find something you are looking for. I'm comfort over fashion, and I often find what I'm looking for in my size (roughly 36/38 male waist). It has gotten a bit more expensive, but I'm buying work clothes that I'll wear down quickly anyway. Rather pay $7 for a black polo over a $30 polo. Just has to be a solid color and have a collar. I particularly like the sweatshirts and any comfy pants/shorts with pockets. The folks that work there are nice. They really do a great job keep the place clean and organized. Ive volunteeres at cheaper thrift shops which give cheaper prices, if you want a good experience and wide variety, we are really only talking about paying $7 instead of $6. I also remember when everything was cheaper and they didn't go up by much. Invalid argument in my opinion

Clean, well lit. No Try-on rooms. Everything from dresses to waffle irons. Gorgeous selection of curtains and bedding. Many items w original tags. It's a Happy Place! 1st & 3rd Thursday everything is half off or more!!

This place is great but the prices have gone up tremendously. I just payed over $50 for 4 things: 3 casual dresses and a coat. Less than a year ago items were almost always less than $5 now it seems that everything starts at $10. This is ridiculous.

This thrift store never misses - I will continue to come back. My only comment is the owner/manager (guy with dark black hair.) I was only in this store for about 30 minutes today and heard him berrate the cashiers multiple times, loudly; and in front of customers. You want to know why "Noone wants to work" or why there's a "labor shortage" for retail/food? It's because of managers like you. Show a modicum of respect to your employees and don't micromanage them so publicity, preferably at all... It's a thrift shop, relax.

My favorite thrift store in New Orleans as of yet. Fairest prices, organized well, good selection. A great selection of bed linens - as a seamstress I’m always looking for a nice or fun old sheet.

This place prices are out if this world.Every 1st & 3rd Thursday...its 50% off of everything in the store "WoW"..50% Off! No other thrift store can beat the saving you receive from this location. I shop here for all my family cloths and alot more they have to offer. I highly recommend this location to all my family and friends!

I bought my husband some pants. They didn't fit. We brought them back to get him something else. Very easy when you have the receipt, tags still on and within 7 days. They will let you exchange it. Great to go on the 1st and 3rd thursday of the month. Half price day.

Pretty nice thrift store. It's clean and has lots of clothes but also many other hidden gems. Only complaint is some of the staff are less than friendly but not too bad. Got a nikon coolpix for 6 bucks!

Very nice people at the front desk. There was a large selection of clothes. The shoes were a very good selection, clean and very well maintained for a thrift store. They even had Vera Wang sore for $12

FIRST THURSDAY AND THIRD THURSDAYS 50% OFF EVERYTHING!!!! Thrift City in Terrytown has really good selections and price on clothes anyway but on top of that, they have specials everyday up to 75% OFF additional on some items. For example, their Men's ties are 99 cents regularly, so you do the math. I bought expensive name brands for my son with tags still on them. If you go on the First and the Third THURSDAY, you will get 50% OFF everything in the store. Every time we go, we can never finish shopping because we have way to much clothes in our basket. We always walk out with multiple large bags of clothes on those days and maybe pay around $100 that clothes 4 people for days. Can't do that at a upscale store nor Walmart. We walk out with all name brands and many with tags still on them. Woo Hoo! We take the clothes that have tags on and stick them in the dryer for double measure and wash the rest. We get many compliments on our clothes and the secret is between you and me! I normally don't do reviews but this shopping experience I don't mind sharing because there enough to go around!!! The people there are really nice too. Oh, and the best part! you can return items with tags on them within 7 days and you'll get a store credit to use in 30 days. Have Fun!

Thrift City USA is a great place to find a bargain on clothing, furniture and various other odds and ends. The folks who work there are like family and make you feel right at home as soon as you enter the store. I've gotten some of the best deals ever and saved hundreds of dollars at Thrift City USA. Sometimes I go there just to pass the time away and walk down memory lane while browsing the aisles. If you're ever in the area, drop by and find your diamond in the rough!

This is the best thrift store in our area, at least for clothes. They are well stocked and have great prices on top of sales every day. Plus the staff is always friendly and the store is kept clean.

Some items are way too expensive for such a large thrift store. BUT every 1st and 3rd Thursday they have major half off sale days. So that makes up for it a bit. One problem is they jam the high heel shoes in this metal shoe rack. So almost every pair is totally scraped up the back of the heel. That STINKS. I never buy heels from here because of that. They always look good from the front but I know the backs are ALWAYS messed up. Otherwise, this is my favorite thrift store.

Went there today. I find it cheap enough, today I bought 5 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, pair of boots and a belt for only $55.00. If they have another place that cheap give me a text on my email, I really would love to go see!
