Here we go again..coming into a Plato’s Closet being FOLLOWED by workers as if I’m stealing. It’s happened at the Nashville location as-well. My first visit I was followed by a girl pretending as if she was fixing clothes (in every part of the store I’m in? Yeah right) I am only giving this location 3 stars because I did return a different day. The staff on this shift were not discriminatory and the visit was pleasant. Selection wise, it was nothing I’d go out of my way to buy. Plato’s Closet really needs to train their employees on identifying shop lifters based on their ACTIONS not RACE.

My friends and I had such an awesome experience at this Plato’s! We had been to a few others, but Connor and Analiese were so friendly and helpful! The store was stocked and well-organized (also sorted by color which I LOVE), and we will definitely be coming back if we’re ever in the area again! :)

Spent some time shopping in the store today while waiting on the review of my items I was selling to be finished. While shopping I was able to overhear the conversations with customers that their employee Connor was having. He was patient, polite and sounded genuinely happy to serve the customers in the store, even the ones that needed a little extra care and time. Tasha also was very sweet when she was giving style advice about a purse and top I was considering. It was nice to be in a retail environment where the employees were happy to be there in a time when the retail industry is somewhat struggling to stay positive. Big thanks for these to making a shopping experience happy again for me and the others they worked with today. 5 stars and hopeful for some company recognition for these two!!

The customer service at this Plato's Closet location is some of the best I have ever had in retail! There is always a warm welcome from staff as soon as customers walk in, and you can truly tell that the staff cares about each customer's experience. All of the times I have sold have been completely fair (they truly tried to take as much of my clothes as they could), and I have SCORED on awesome clothes every time I've shopped! I will most definitely be returning to this location many times! :)

Hi there! I'm a representative of some social media outlets for promoting Nashville artists, and I've heard some GREAT things about this store having awesome outfit selections! The artists I represent have told me that this store is a great place to find unique items they wear for gigs, and I had to check it out first-hand... they were so right! This store is so well-kept, and the staff is so kind! The selection is excellent, and I will definitely be shopping there more often from now on!

So far I've only been to two Plato's closet locations around Nashville, and this was the better of the two. Overall had nicer items and looked cleaner. However, both need to have larger dressing rooms. Or at least a bench/seat to put your personal belongings on.

Friendly customer service...but whoever is pricing their items needs to calm down. They had a used pair of leather Kenneth Cole sneakers for $135. These shoes cost $50 max brand new, then go for like $20 used on eBay. You're no longer getting a deal by going to Plato's Closet. Rather pre-owned clothing with a convenience surcharge. Prices are cheaper on eBay, Poshmark, etc. - you just pay more to physically get it quicker at Plato's Closet.

I got a ton of awesome/vintage winter clothes from here for my upcoming shows!! Got two sweaters, a crop top, two coats, skirt, pair of jeans, and some boots for 98$!! They offer military discounts by the way! Connor helped me and he was awesome!! Super attentative and really catered to my personal style!! New management is way better now than a few months ago!!

This store is clean & organized by sizes. The staff is great. The quality of the clothing is low-end, which is good if you want disposable fashion, as opposed to high quality long lasting classic wear.

Finally a store that accepted my clothes for a very respectful offer. ive been to madison, al location, north little rock, ark. and murfreesboro, tn location and recieved piss poor customer service. it boils down to workers just being lazy and not wanting to go thru everything. at the cool springs location i recieved excellent friendly service, even recieved a text from the store manager. A+

This Plato’s is awesome-the best way to keep teens looking good on a budget. They always have a great selection and i like how they merchandise their items -they keep current styles highlighted for easy shopping. They have great sales too.

Not enough options!. Need more xl. i am a "normal" sized woman. And have money to spend. I hate tight clothing. In texas the platos closet was always busy and loads of great buys and options because they had the sizing for the women that could buy. They also had alot more markdowns and sales! and i always left with bags and bags of goodies. More Large and extra large. I have wide shoulders. All the pretty stuff was in tiny sizes? And yes i do like the brands that they buy.

These reviews really helped me. After seeing how they pay and how they do people. ITS NOT RIGHT AND VERY UNFAIR. I WILL NEVER SELL MY CLOTHES NOR BUY CLOTHES AGAIN FROM THIS PLACE. Seems like a rip off , and can't belive they actually sell the items for more then what they purchase for the person trying to sell to them..
