The Ladies of Charity is a non-profit organization, who accepts gentle used clothing. However, the service was not good. It appeared as though the ladies were watching my mom and me shopping as though we might steal something. That wasn't a pleasant experience. There was a dress no one knew if it was for sale or not. This organization is run by Catholic women so I was taken aback by the feeling I had; which is why I cannot give 4 Stars.

A wonderful local charity that sponsors regular thrift sales. Check out their website for sale dates and times. You would be absolutely amazed at the quality of the items and the low prices. This charity helps helps those in need in the Nashville community. The organization is run entirely by volunteers so 100% of your donations go to help those in need.

The hours / days Thursday & Friday 10:00 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M. C S.T. and Saturday 9:00 A.M. TO 12 NOON C.S.T. The proceeds from the sales will be used by The Ladies of Charity Emergency Assistance Office , which PROVIDES HELP to the needy with food and other assistance! Clothes are on cosignment...Come early because buyers are waiting for hours to get inside to purchase quality garments at a really GREAT price. Found me at least 13-designer blouses and a beautiful Easter dress.

The ladies of charity are a wonderful non-profit organization who can help you with several things, including food, clothing, and job assistance. They are located in the downtown Nashville area and a little difficult to find with where they are situated, they also have limited but free parking.
