Awesome place to make a stop and shop. Record hunting is great with a fun selection that doesnt feel picked through. The home decor rooms are great to hunt for presents for others or for yourself. Collectibles are unique and fun to check out walking the store. The owners are super nice and helpful. A rare find of a place that makes you happy to visit.

This place was the local Disney Land for Nostalgia! The staff are very laid back and helpful / east to chat with, play awesome music, and this store is packed with unique antiques and memorabilia. The parking is off street and a narrow street, so be aware it can be a pain finding a place, but the neighborhood is nice to walk through if you park away a bit (which I recommend). Took lots of pictures as there was SO MUCH cool stuff, definitely worth stopping by if you like antiquing, and if your an 80s child you will not want to leave :)

Every vintage thrift store it's kind of a once you seen one you seen them all. They all have a really Punk vibe, but of course every thrift store has a different stuff. I will say the place was clean, and didn't have an unpleasant odor. It's awfully cramped with as much stuff as they have in the way they have it designed, however. The person with physical disabilities wouldn't be able to navigate it very well.

This thrift shop is soooo coooool！ 1. very reasonable price. got lots of accessories abt 3-5 dollars，vintage bags around 10 dollars，and clothes/furniture 2. thousands of records in good shape and quality. great musical taste，the owner can play it for you if you're not sure abt songs 3. very friendly and helpful couple，they are so nice and they have a beautiful nice dog there too. Anyone who loves vintage/vinyls cannot miss this one！strongly recommend it！！！

I shopped here recently with family. The owner was so friendly and had so many fun things at really reasonable prices. My sister found the perfect 1960s dresser and chest of drawers at an amazing price and in excellent condition. The delivery cost was shockingly low. I highly recommend shopping here!

Excellent record store. Fair market prices. Lots of good quality vinyl and variety. I was in the city for the weekend and had planned on going to a handful of record stores and this wasn’t one of them. I found it walking passed on my way to lunch and it turned out to be the best of the half a dozen or so much larger shops I went to. Lovely couple that runs the place. My only complaint is that they had so much good vinyl I couldn’t turn down, I ended up spending way more money than I intended. I’ll be back every time I’m in the twin cities.

Not exactly my style for vintage items, had more rock and roll vibes with lots of records, cds, and cassette tapes– but if that’s the type of thing you’re looking for then this might be for you! I don’t know that I would go back anytime soon, but might recommend to a friend who likes music.

Lots of cool things you can find in here. Mostly have older vinyls on display ranging from R&B to funk to classic rock to metal. They also have other clothing items, knick knacks, and other stuff for the home that are really unique. I think it's a good place for people who like thrift shopping and pop culture enthusiasm in their life.

If you have not visited here, run...do not walk, to this spot! My husband I went here together on a day of thrifting, and feel in love immediately. Not only to they have great items, in fantastic condition, but they also are super friendly and helpful. If you are looking for clothing items, this is probably not the place for you, however if you are looking for furniture, vintage records, and decor, this is the perfect place. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Highly, highly, recommend!!

Super unique and well cared for store. Tons of attention in the details and hand-picked inventory. Just fun to walk around. It felt like there was something for everyone, really nice antiques, eclectic decor, stuff you can actually use, jewelry/clothes/shoes, and a great room of kids stuff. I want everything...including the puppy. Picked up some adorable earrings that were too good of a deal to pass up.

Cool place to score records. Great prices and even has an international section where I lucked out on Spanish language records. Owners are very resourceful and friendly people, will be back another day to hunt for more records.

I love this place. They are definitely selective about the records they display, you don't need to sift through junk to find some real gold. I have found some of my favorite records of all time here for a very good price. Marcio is also incredibly knowledgable about all things music, and both Marcio and Julia are very friendly. They also have all kinds of neat other stuff, decorations, clothing, furniture, etc. My fiance and I purchased a record player setup here, and Marcio walked us through how to put it together so it was easy to set up when we got it home. Really can't recommend this place enough. Would rate 6 stars if I could.

I was in Minneapolis for an event over the weekend, and a friend of mine decided to check out some thrift stores for records and such. I saw the name Groovy's pop up on a Google search and I knew this was the place to go. When we get there, we're greeted by a huge record selection from all different genres. Definitely found some gems. The owner played each one for us to make sure they were what we wanted. Customer service was at 110%. We walked out with a bunch of records at very fair prices. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the twin cities!

Groovy's. All the little hidden corners and local artisan fun props and items. We love the snooping and the browsing. And sometimes something THIS epic decides to hide in a corner. Universal rule number 64=everything is a board game!
