Honestly my first time going there wasn’t that bad.DONT LET THE BAD COMMENTS DISCOURAGE YOU!!i will say it might just depend on what time you go there I went around 4 and it wasn’t 2 crowded so I found lots of good clothes that fit my style (senior in highschool) but I will say MAKE SURE YOU BRING MASKS AND GLOVES AND YOUR OWN BAGS WHEN ITS TIME TO CHECKOUT!!(sorta like Aldi but you can’t buy bags you have to bring your own)When me and my friend went to checkout there wasn’t a line at all and everything costed 20.17$ altogether (2 jackets,3 pairs of jeans,2 tank tops, 1 shirt and one New York hat). ( her stuff was like 6.23$ I forgot what she got) luckily I had brought some Walmart bags so I didn’t have to carry the stuff I bought in my bare hands. Now as far as staff I didn’t have a problem at all and when me and my friend were about to leave there was this old lady that couldn’t find her keys so the employees went out of their way to go to her car in another parking lot to find them I wish I had got their names. Now I will say the place is dirty and they had flies everywhere but what do you expect at a place that sells used goods.Overall experience 10/10

I have to tell you how amazing and kind your staff were! I was very impressed with how kind they were. I enjoyed shopping at this location. I’m very lucky we were just visiting the area, because this was too much fun. We got some really nice, name brand items. They were switching out bins a lot. Definitely worth it.

Good, but higher priced than other Goodwill outlets and I'm not so sure I believe their scales are correct. I think they add a few pounds. Still, good deals to be had.

Feb 17th everything is 40% off.
Old stuff & new stuff. It's a warehouse filled with stuff. Tons of stuff. Furnfuture, clothing, household goods, backpacks, boots, picture frames & shelves. It looks junky but, it is what it is. Prices are by the pound. Some more expensive things are priced.
I recommend you wash your hand before you leave; bring bags & lots of them.
I filled up a plastic milk crate in no time, but ended up leaving it behind because, while it was a really good deal, it was nothing I needed.

Have found Patagonia jackets and paid less than $2. My kids love bringing their $5 from grandma and budgeting their purchases. I highly recommend this place. :)

Used to be amazing! Still unbeatable prices, but I think we need another goodwill outlet in the twin cities because this one gets insane. A lot of competitive thrifters and resellers since covid.. if you've never been, the prices are cheap because nothing is sorted, everything is priced by weight/size, fyi it can get a little grimey & social distancing isn't inforced. There's a lot going on and some staff handle it poorly. Still amazing for folks on a budget, you can find just about anything if you're patient and keep an open mind.

I asked a worker for the cart he was using when he was done. He said someone already spoke for it. Ok. A while later this same man brought me a cart. Thanks so much. When leaving, the male guard, Ismael, carried my box out to the car. Thanks Ishmael! 😀 …

Bring your own plastic bags. This is an adventure. Be prepared. Do NOT bring in your handbag or anything like that. You will need to dig for and hold items. Not much inventory coming in. Not for everyone.

A treasure trove for vintage clothing. Come with plenty of time and energy to dig through heaps of unsorted clothes (new things come out in bins every few hours). Unbeatable prices. Perfect for those who enjoy the hunt. Best to wear gloves and a mask (even post Covid) if you're sensitive to dust.
Sherry Felt
Me and my Mom used to LOVE going to this place all of 2019. All the staff was pretty sweet and there was no covid at the time. I am curious to go again soon. And see what it's like now. It was very cathartic for me for some reason, just relaxingly digging through something different everytime we went.

Just a warning if you are purchasing more than you can carry in your hand STOP, Basket are not allow out of the door, carts are limited to in store shopping making it tough, especially for senior citizens and ppl with disabilities ithereuse prices are great
Alyssa Pryor
I always find amazing deals when I come here. It can get crowded at times but overall most people are usually friendly. Be sure to bring your own bags for items you buy as they are not provided. I also bring a pair of gloves to wear while digging through the big bins of clothing; always be careful as their was a broken wine glass in a clothing bin I almost cut myself on last time. (employees should be sure to check this - could've caused a major problem) Also they do not have a ton of shopping carts so if you go at a busy time you may not get one. Pricing goes by the pound and the more you buy the cheaper it will cost you per pound. My last trip I got around 30 lbs of clothing and paid $29.38.

Great deals for unique stuff! A lot of the people here buy stuff to resell. Basically, you purchase by the pound the items that Goodwill couldn't sell in their regular stores. Even though that doesn't sound promising, you find a lot of overlooked gems like vintage jackets and high end shoes and bags. Just bring some gloves to protect your hands.

Very nice place to find cheap or interesting things. You never know what you'll find there. Things are mostly unsorted in big blue bins and sold by the pound. Be careful of looking through the bins, there may be garbage, broken glassware, or otherwise dirty items. I would definitely recommend washing clothes after you buy them. There is no changing rooms, but there are public restrooms.

I, a recent graduate trying to save money, love this place! Most of the negative reviews are negative because people are applying expectations of a retail store to something that is not a retail store. It is impossible to "waste your money" here because everything is that cheap; you can fill your cart to the brim and spend $20. And personally I find the experience of hunting through things very fun.

I found a grand new purse worth $200 here for less than $2 by weight!! And while that's not the norm, I also was VERY kindly helped to the ER by the staff here where I got the best news of my life that I wasnt dying but just had a little Hernia!! And all thanks to the staff telling me to go in! Phew! Thanks again!!

The outlet stores are fun! They are an adventure, no way of knowing what you will get. Some posters have indicated this is all the stuff that didn't sell in the store. That's not true. Several times, it's straight from donations. I've ripped bags of donated stuff open to find real treasures (St. Paul location more than Brooklyn Park or Chaska).
Fair warning: You will need to get dirty and assertive. Some bags I've ripped open must have gotten damp as they smelled of mildew. People are pushy, don't take it personally. I wear those cheap knit gloves that you can buy really cheap, I also make sure I have handiwipes in the car to wipe my hands before I drive home. We use contractor trash bags to haul home our goodies, they're strong and you can literally drag them when full to the car (we live far away, so we buy lots of stuff and just go 3-4 times/year). Don't take a purse into the store, it gets caught up on everything, plus you have to try to watch it while digging for goodies. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes, nothing that can't get dirty. If you're sensitive to dust, I've seen people with masks like the ones you wear in a doctor's office. Grab first, and then go off to the side somewhere and decide if you want to keep it. Take a selfie with the bins, and people pushing and shoving and show your friends. It makes it more of an adventure.

Be prepared. My first time going I thought I was on a game show. I thought I took thrifting seriously. I thought a lady was gonna fight me because I was going through the same bun as her. They all run as soon as the doors open and go crazy lol. Will be prepared next time🏃🏼♀️💪🏼 …

If you are expecting a retail store, shop elsewhere. This is a real outlet store.
Goodwill uses a color tag system to identify how long most items have been in their retail stores. After 3 or 4 weeks (depending on the store) items are put on sale for half price on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday they are marked down to 25% of the original price. Anything that doesn't sell after that is pulled from the shelves/racks and either discarded or dumped into pallet sized containers for shipment to the Outlet Store. Prices at the Outlet Store vary depending on the type of item. Most all prices are dirt cheap compared to the stores.
The Goodwill Outlet Store Staff does some minimal sorting. Materials may be loosely grouped into furniture, soft line (clothes/cloth accessories), hard think (think dishes, toys, seasonal, lamps), and shoes/luggage. Furniture items are brought onto the sales area one at a time, throughout the day. Most everything else is placed into giant waist high rolling trays called boats. The boats are brought out in "waves" of 6 to 10. The contents depend on what is received from the stores.
The sales floor is a hectic place. Staff navigate the 350+ boats a day through the sea of preoccupied customers who are digging for items or sorting through their carts. Rotation of new boats has its own set of "rules" and is not for the feint of heart. Here are the highlights for new customers. Staff begins by removing a group of older boats. Customers crowd around the empty space, strategically positioning themselves for first access. You can look but do not touch the new boats. Be ready. When staff gives the all clear, grab what you want and put an it in your bag or cart. You can put it back later if you decide against it. Yes, two people may want the same thing. Anyone who frequents thrift stores or garage sales has done this before, just at a much slower pace. People here are generally courteous, but in a hurry.
Finally, you will notice that regular customers find single shoes and later flip coins or otherwise trade/barter for the mate. It took me a while to figure that out.
Needless to say, everything is sold "as is". As others have said, bring gloves and be prepared to spend some time. The lighting could be better, but aside from that, I would highly recommend the Goodwill Outlet for some great deals if you are willing to dig for them.

Goodwill donations conveniently presented in dozens of Gaylord boxes sitting on pallets 😂
Formerly G2 (Goodwill too). Goodwill by the Pound!
Have you ever described your shopping tendency is used in the phrase "thrill of the hunt" ?
Seriously, this would be a hilarious place to bring your curious kiddo that wants to get the most out of their small piggy bank. You may need then to help dive into a 5' tall cardboard gaylord; hold tight the ankles 💪🤯
Jen Hanlon Ash
Do you like digging for treasure? Are you willing to LITERALLY dig through bins of unsorted things? Endless. Bins. ?!?! I DO. But it’s not for everyone. You buy by the pound which makes a cart load of clothes about $20-25. You be the judge!
Kristi Deegan
If you have never been there before, you will not know what is going on. The clothes can be ripped and smell bad, but everything is .99 a pound. But no signs or help unless you ask. Some shoppers are rude, staff was good.
Bryan Hernandez
Very amazing & great outlet for the twin cities/ metro it can be intense tho so be ready & patient with lines & digging through bins
Robert Warbelton
If your looking for something,, it's probably there, just keep looking!!
Richard Korte
Just want to inject another customer opinion that was there David is a good guy Gelli the customer in question was dressed extremely inappropriately, I'll be more blunt and say what David showed to much class to say this woman was not wearing underwear in a skirt way to short for her around children. David is a class act and a good guy
teacherscalee
Found some above average appliances I wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. Hard to make expectations as the merchandise steadily changes. Prices are absolutely perfect.
Barnetta Johnson
this is their flagship store! its thrifting for thrifters! Bins are filled hourly and on Wednesday its a storewide 25% off your total purchase! I love it! yes they have furniture too!
Dan Fredell
Excellent broken/ used electronic deals. All electronics are about quarter. I picked up an iRobot Roomba, all it needed a new bump sensor LED. Most people search through the bins of clothes, that isn't my thing.
Melissa Arellano
Very good Deals and Prices😍✨Some of the customers are rude or pushy. Some are very nice and helpful😍✨The Staff have a hard job and do the best that they can😊💜🌺✨Please don't shop here 'cuz it's too busy already 😘😐ha ha 😊😘✨ …
TERESA ROTH
If you are willing to spend some time digging through bins of clothes and stuff you can find some real bargains. The donated furniture can sometimes be fabulous too.
melissa nguyen
This is my fav one to go to. Plan to spend some time in here tho. This one is not like the other stores, you must be prepared to look thru lots of stuff. I have fun going thru everything!
Eric Choudhary
There are bins and bins of surplus stuff, mostly clothes, that you can sort through and buy by the pound. If you have the patience to sift through it, you can find some good deals.
Janna Munoz

It looks like people are saying that this place is like a zoo or a chaos, that’s because mostly ALL goodwill outlet are like that, if you think about it, it has good prices and discounts, just think in the condition the stuff is and price...
Toyia Armstead
Was quite interesting the had just loads and loads of stuff and you got to chose whatever for a certain price, better than a lot pick what you need one flat rate.

Been coming to this location for a really long time! I haven't been in SOOOO long so I was really looking foward driving an hour away to treasure hunt! Unfortunately though... prices have really sky-rocketed since last time. I know inflation impacts us all but sheeesh... I used to get a whole cart full for $30, today was $45 for barely half a cart of ... Misc things. Miss the ole days, lol. Security guard was on his phone the whole time as people were shoving carts and barging. The employees are pretty rude when approached. Wish there was more places like this that were better.
joshua riffel
They always have unique, fun items and great prices!! Found a lot of action figures made a couple hundred dollars on!! Is a little crowded and a free for all fcfs, but I usually swing in and look at the pre picked bins and still find some good finds like these ralph lauren sheets 😀! …
