Updating my previous one star review because the manager/owner was very attentive to my concern of an employee making rude and obnoxious announcements. The employee is no longer with the company and I sincerely hope she finds a place where she doesn't need to take her misery out on others. This is my favorite thrift shop in the area and I've found so many amazing items. I find the prices to be mostly fair. I hear they are temporarily closed but I will continue to support this business.

Nice that the last Sat. Of the month everything is 50% off. They have delicately used clothing & home decor. Like the variety of items they offer. Customer service is great! I.like their choice of music, Christian songs & conservative secular music. God Bless them & their business. Not every one can afford to go to the regular stores.😊

Love this store. Prices are decent and you can always find a good buy. Every Monday they have a 3 for $1 sale. Sales apply only to clothes and shoes it does not matter the tag price as long as the tags are that weeks' advertised color. Also for example if you purchase $20 worth of stuff in any given week you will get a 20% off discount on your total purchase on Sunday in the same week. The more you spend during the week, the bigger the discount. However there is a maximum limit of 50% off. Must show your receipt upon purchasing. Hope this helps with your thrift shopping.

I’ve been to this location many times and they have a great selection, but the staff is rude. They don’t seem to care about how many clothes you take into a fitting room, until they see you filling up a rack with things you don’t want. If I spend hours here, I’m going to be trying on a lot of clothes. Then they want to talk about you in Spanish and “set restrictions” that only seem to apply to you unless you call them out on it, in front of other customers. It’s a fitting room. People try on stuff and decide they don’t want it. Don’t get mad at a customer because you have to do your job.

This store would be great if it weren't for two things 1) they are overpriced and 2) they write on things with this weird marker/crayon that never comes out! Bought beautiful glasses I wanted to use and two of them are ruined because the price won't come off. Used rubbing alcohol and everything, and it stained the glass.

The best thrift store I have been in in my 15 yrs carer in looking for treasuries! I am coming every week and the jewels you can find here are awesome! Prices are very good and never overdone as in some Salvation Army stores where they offering shoes for $70 etc.

They have some awesome items here and they are name brand and reasonable, I got a keurig for almost 7$. It's worth the time and the money to go visit, when i say they have everything they have everything, p.s. don't forget your face mask.

I love this store so much .its always clean and the prices are always fair .the clothes toys and every thing that I buy are always in good condition and clean .all the staff there are very friendly and very nice helpful I come here all the time by myself or sometimes my friends.keep up the good work.

I have been coming here as a child and I love it! I think they have great items but you REALLY have to look which I think makes it worth the effort. I think it's worth for what you paid for because obviously IT IS A THRIFT STORE. Although you can find brand name items if you again look deep enough and take your time. If you REALLY want to find quick brand name items then I would suggest going to the Salvation Army down the road on North Clybourn. The only reoccurring problem I have with this store is that it can get very messy at times.

Excellent variety. I've bought clothes, linens, kitchen items, lamps and other decor along with knick-knacks/vases and picture frames. This is a solid store. Be sure to save some cash to buy a treat from the gentleman who sells ice cream and candy outside the front door. ;)

Now this place I like. They have a pretty decent quality clothes for a thrift store. And for a very good price. I found some florsheims there for $6. There's also a good selection of knick knacks and China. Things are well organized and easy to find. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

This place is a hit or miss. It's a bit pricey but its worth taking a look. Very narrow aisles near the women clothes and purses. I don't think I've ever looked at the womens clothes. The aisles are a bit too clostophobic for me plus it's too dark. A lot of women choose to change here so you can't get through to look anyway. I tend to go through white bins in front and the housewares and junk in the back. It's a mess and you have to dig around but you can find some reasonably priced stuff. Most of those are priced to move. Unless it's the season for that seasonal item then the prices are rediculous.

Prices are not at the lowest point, but they are still good. On the other hand, most of the merchandise is a step above the closest competitor. Clean, well organized.

You can sometimes find some incredibly great deals. I found a $400 surround sound system for $6.30 , I also found a great Iowa surround sound speaker at the same time and that cost me $3.20 I found it hilarious that the $400 surround sound system was almost the same price as the small speaker however both work extremely well no problem with other device.

Family Thrift is a really nice store. The atmosphere is calm and shopping is relaxing. Tons of selections with thousands of clothing options to pick from. Clothing is constantly updating so you're bound to find something you like.

I went in to find a pair of slacks after having no luck at several retail stores. I ended finding 3 pairs. They have a large selection of clothes sorted by types, colors and sizes making your search that much easier. If you go in, odds are you'll find something you want.

I really like this thrift store because it's clean and organized. However, they need to rethink their policy on pricing items that don't have price tags on them. What I'm saying is they should price clothes on spot that don't have a price tag.
