Large selection of used clothing. Pretty well organized. Not a lot of dresses. They had a lot of leggings and tops and shoes. Plenty if warm top layers as well. They had guy and femme clothing. Their dressing rooms were open. It was packed with people the weekend we went. I think the aisles are a little too close together to be very accessible.

Absolutely cramped store in which every aisle is barely shoulder width and everybody crowds in like cows being sent to the slaughter amidst total chaos. In fact, good luck even finding the line for checkout. It is that bad. To anybody who is claustrophobic and hates crowded and chaotic places I would highly not recommend coming here. But if you want to be able to buy a full Nike workout outfit for 50$ then this place is (almost) worth the stress.

I love this store I come here to buy jeans and shorts but my concerns is the selling part. I have brought bags and totes full of name brand clothes like adidas American eagle Victoria secret under armour hey dude Michael kors etc and not one single item was bought. As I browse through the store I see shoes that are nasty clothes with holes in them bathing suits with stains in them kids clothes on the rack but won’t even look or buy the brand new items I brought in. (This isn’t the first review of this issue) I was told the reason they didn’t buy my items was because the buyer at the time didn’t like what I brought in it’s all based on what the buyer personally likes which I think is a joke. I have brought so much stuff in that I honestly just don’t wear and have no more room in my closet. Honestly what people spend on these items full price and then try to sell not worn or slightly worn and get $2-$5 I just don’t agree with that but then have items on the floor that look like someone took it right off there feet and sold it. I posted pictures of some of the items we brought in that they did not buy. Disappointed to say the least

I brought two bins and got $170 for it! Yes, it had great brands in immaculate shape but definitely wasn’t expecting that much. I could’ve sold it all online for more however that takes time and this is the quickest way to get rid of extra clothes.

It would be nice if there were a larger purse and jewelry area. I am used to larger thrift stores that have more offerings, including a pajama/loungewear/bra section, but this store can only hold so much, and they have men's clothing as well. Once in awhile I will stop in and look around for a good find; today I found a faux leather jacket for $14, a jacket ($10), and TekGear leggings ($6), plus a Sagittarius necklace and a black beaded necklace (both $2-3).

They are usually busy buying and selling clothes. I dropped off items to sell and they were done same day. It seems like you get less than a dollar per clothing item but most of it, I just want to get rid of so I don't mind. I sell all my kid's old things here.

Got 2 pair of Nikes 1 of which were Jordans for $90,also got 2 tee shirts nike 1 NFL nike for $16 & a Hurley jacket for $16, will definately go there again for clothing & shoes. Great products at great prices

I love Plato's closet they're amazing selection!! And they're absolute amazing pic of shoes!! They have all the good styles and brands for the entire family!! And what makes it even better. Is once upon a child is next door One stop shop both buildings!! 🤣👍 LOVE THE EMPLOYEES. They're always so kind and polite and quick to help with anything you need.. I go Plato's closet hopping all the time from Florence the beechmont avenue To colerain to Dayton (beavercreek) You can probably say that I'm slightly obsessed!!! 🤣🤣🤦‍♀️

Never thought I would be saying all of this as a dude, but you have to love this store! People are all friendly with great deals galore on high quality clothing! You have to give yourself some time to look through the whole selection in order to find great deals, but I would say there is definitely treasure to be discovered. All you have to do is look!

I stopped in with my teenage granddaughter so she could shop. I got lucky and found a pair of new sandals that were exactly what I'd been looking for and I only paid $8. The store was well organized and the employees were pleasant. One of the best second hand stores I've been to.

They give $5 for brand new Cincy reds pull over and brand new hat. I took back to store got $35 credit at Walmart instead of giving it away.... Prices a bit high for coat they pay people for stuff you think be cheaper.

If you take your time an looks threw all the clothes you can find some awesome deals. It's time consuming last time I went it took like 2 hours but I found so many clothes an the were practically brand new one shirt still had a tag. Its also very Reasonable prices

Before visiting the store I checked the website to make sure I don't waste my time on bringing something they don't need. I carefully viewed the section of what the store currently buys (it says: pants, shorts, long sleeve, sweatshirts, etc). I had a large bag of nice clothes all carefully folded (Calvin Klein, Patagonia, The limited, Oakley) most of it was worn just a few times, sizes small, 0, extra small. The lady at the counter seemed kind of rude to me, she dug through the clothes and shoved it back in to the bag, in a negligent tone she said they accept only young adult and teenage clothes (my clothes belonged to a 27 y.o. woman) and none of what I brought could be sold in their store, bc it was in the "mature" category. It's totally fine, but it would be extremely helpful to have that kind of limitation clearly spelled on the website. This way a seller could evaluate their stuff and don't drive up wasting time. The lady at the counter did recommend another store for my "mature" stuff to sell and wrote down the name of it. I appreciate that.

Love the idea of this store. We buy from here but they never buy back....funny how that works. Ok but still this day the young lady behind counter, not so friendly. She should have been on the floor and not dealing with people. This has happened a couple of times and maybe they should shift the staff around or learn to deal with the customers in a friendly manner. No eye contact - the only words spoken was the total we owed for our purchase...efficient if that was the goal.

Sometimes staff can be rude. If you go to sell clothes here they rarely take anything. You can go in with 100 clothing items and leave with $10 and 98 items back (even if the clothes were brand new with tags). The clothes on the racks are usually good for their price but i will occasionally find something covered in stains or animal hair.

For being a second hand store I think they're a bit expensive. I feel like they don't carry enough cute stuff for a girl my size and people who are my size and up. Anytime I go there I find stuff I like , but it's not in my size. I also feel like their "organization set up" isn't that great.

You can find some nice gems hidden in the racks. It just takes a while. Patience and time is key when shopping here. The prices could be a little lower. Over all a pleasant shopping experience each time I visit.

Was able to afford some fabulous clothing!! Prices are awesome and most people that work there are really nice. Glad the store is getting a much needed overhaul! I just hope they dont jack up the prices!!

I absolutely love shopping here, however i do not recommend going in to sell your clothes. I had alot of Hollister, Aeropostal, Rue 21, etc all junior sizes, i brought them in baskets neatly folded, organized, and seperated. When they were finished my clothes were thrown back into the baskets very carelessly. To top it off thet bought like 3 items that i bought at wal-mart and places similar. They claim to sell namebrands, which they do, however buying wal-mart clothes and jacking the prices up is just ridiculous. I applied to work for them however, when i experienced that, i have decided to not go amy further. If you're looking for nicer name brand clothes at a good price I recommend going right across the street to Style Encore, great deals, better customer service, and they offer you better deals when you sell your items. Horrible employees, very very rude. The customer service is awful. From the moment i walked in the door, until the moment i walked out they were very very snotty. Perhaps not hiring rude teenagers would be better for business.

I mean, they don't give you a lot for your clothes, but that's their business model. Besides that this place has a good selection of clothes. As you'd expect it's hit or miss but really pretty cheap. Staff is usually nice

Love this place, my weight fluctuates so much and to keep up with clothing that looks good but is affordable is difficult. But here they have a great selection of nearly new high end brands and for pennies to the dollar and when you can't wear it anymore or trends have changed you can always sell it back to them...

I decided to stop at Plato's closet on my way home.. I haven't been a few month's. I was surprised to walk in and alot of thing's had change "for the better" Everyone there was super friendly and very helpful! I spent an hour looking at a bunch of clothes... I believe the supervisor's name was Kaley< Not sure that's even spell right.. I apologize but she helped me out for full hour listen to me and help me pick out clothes it was a good experience and I will be back for more! Excellent job girls please keep it up !!

You can get great clothes (name brand) at great prices. Everytime I go I spend alotof time looking at and trying on the clothes to see if they fit. That also have some shoes, belts. Men woman some young lady's. Should go checked it out. There is a new place not far from here called something (Encore).

Would of gave 5 stars... But at a few of my visits I was a bit over heated with a few of the prices on a few different items.. though also at times.. You can also be blown away as the low an great prices marked... guess it depends on the staff at the time or days of your visits... only big or time I had a real issue .. Ive ever really had was how they just about refuse any or every other little item u do ever try to sell them..ok so like say if you brought in 50 items.. they may only take 10 to 15 of them... or less depending of the season an or yr an style of course. An then only offer like day a 10th. Or so of what u thought it may of been worth.... BUT I DID RATE AT 4 ...NOW OKAY PLS..... DONT GET ME WRONG....I have found 100s of great things here over the many yrs ive shopped here.

Usually somewhat crowded. Takes a long time for them to sort through clothes that you want to sell. Checkout usually takes about 10-15 minutes. Organization of the store doesn't make sense but overall good deals.
