Reviews of Crossroads Trading
It’s a huge store, I was looking for a pair of Jean shorts and got some Calvin Kleins, they didn’t fit exactly perfect but that’s what happens with second hand. I was able to try on about 30 items and bought 4. There’s a lot of great brands, I saw Vince, Rag & bone, Gucci, a lot of local LA brands. When I didn’t recognize the brand, always googled it and it was typically in LA boutique. It took 2+ hours to go through just the shorts and jeans which shows how much there is.
Great location and prices if your willing to spend some time looking through their selection. Sometimes When I sell clothes here I’m pretty surprised what they pass on.. but in general I think they are very fair. I used to sort of look down upon crossroads but this location and the one in Silverlake have definitely changed my mind. Shout out to the one tall guy with dark hair always working when I stop by / sell clothes, real good dude with great taste.
Def the best selling experience I’ve had in any Crossroads or thrift shops in general. The assistant was helpful, quick and gave me some tips on how to make sure my stuff best bought. Plus their collection seems really well curated compared to other locations.
I wish i had more time! Good selection. Good names - Akris, Lauren, Rowley. See some things but not my size. :( Clean and well organized.
First time in this store. I sold some clothes. The staff was very friendly and explained that you could get cash for your clothes or a certain percentage off of their clothes. Not a fancy store, the main focus is the clothes!
My favorite place to buy clothes. Everything is well priced, their selection is great, all the employees are extremely helpful, the store is very clean and I always find a hidden gem at this location.
Things are well organized, but over priced for being used clothes. Came to sale items (Super Dry, Ted Baker, Cotton On, addidas, Levi's, J'Crew) with original tag on and recieved an unfair amount of store credit, also alot was not received.
Great location. Bein on a corner with all the huge windows makes it feel all fancy. Huge with most everything organized pretty well, except for the shoes, which are kind of just displayed wherever they can fit. Minor complaint, though. It'll be hard to not find something you dig here.
Its central location of five major streets coming together right in front of it sets this store up as probably the most customer trafficked altogether .... Which means it has a high turnover of merchandise....which means the selection is always good....which means its a good store to take all of your curated, wardrobe selections ready to be recycled....which means arrive early and DEFINATELY try to use their app to sign up to sell. It makes a world of a difference . And they've recently revamped that whole portion of their service on the app , so its totally user friendly. I dont have anything to complain about this store . The only thing I wish they'd revert back to would be their old drop off system . But I understand why they had to change it to what it is now: people started dropping off excessive amts of clothes and using them as temporary storage units so they didnt have to deal with or look at their past impulse purchases THEY themselves wouldnt buy again .
I’m honestly baffled by the reviews. I’ve been patroning this store as a customer and reseller for months and everyone is friendly and professional. One instance, I bought LULULEMON leggings that I discovered were fake, but I had already removed the tags. The manager remembered me from selling and immediately apologized and gave me a store credit. I was so impressed with how they managed the situation.
Also, this is a business. People get so sore about rejection. Maybe your items aren’t right or they’re trash? It’s a business, not a non profit.
Great selection and very polite and professional staff. Unfortunate that some customers think they have the right to berate retail employees enforcing a mask policy during a pandemic - I was in the store for about 45 minutes this afternoon and heard multiple people have meltdowns when told that they needed to wear a proper mask in the store. Props to the employees for enforcing the rules and staying calm in the face of adult babies, y’all deserve a raise!
They have a good selection of brands and variety of styles. It does take a little bit of legwork to go through the racks. I do wish they sorted the shoes a little better. They are all over the store and not organized by size. Just be prepared to spend an hour or more to thoroughly look around. I'm usually able to score something great though on most trips.
I sell at this particular crossroads at least twice a month but having been selling overall for about 5 years already. 1) I love that they have a place to park. 2) the staff are mostly friendly with a couple of exemptions (maybe I am just judging a book by it’s cover so sorry!😅) but overall, I love selling here. I’ve gotten better at what they like and most importantly, what season to sell! certain clothes are better for other seasons but since we are in Los Ángeles, most clothes are the right clothes. Lol. They do buy for other stores as well as I am sure they are highly popular.
I want to add that about 2-3 months ago I went in with maybe 4-5 bags full of clothes and they only bought about 7 items BUT I was told that it was Only because they were buying for other stores and they were being very selective especially because the store was already so full. I was suggested to come back a couple days later or the following weekend and since I live about 10 minutes from there, I went 3 days later and I was left with a bag and a half full of clothes. So, thank you!❤️
The items to buy can be hit or miss, of course depending on your style. I can usually find at least one item I love which is fine for me. It’s great to be able to recycle clothing. My closet is never ending. Lol
I feel like I'm not fashionable enough to really judge this place fairly - I've bought a backpack and maybe a shirt here once. All of the clothing seems to be of really good quality, but the prices are slightly high if you just want something basic like a t-shirt. I think this place is probably a much better buy for women then men in general but, if you're into brand-name clothing, or dressing for fashion seasons, it seems like a great place to get your clothes.
I love thrift shopping and I've usually gone to the Crossroads in Pasadena on Colorado Blvd. but I've never been able to find something good there. Maybe because the store is so tiny and everything is so crammed and kind of messy and you gotta get by the other shoppers.
Anyway, I walked into the Sunset location and I wasn't really going to buy anything but then two items caught my eye and it felt like I found buried treasure. I left very happy that day and the cashier was very polite and complimented my pants. The store is really spacious as well and its easier to shop when everything is organized and not clumped together. I also noticed there's more variety for women than men. The men's section was pretty small. It was a good visit and I will be coming back soon to find more buried treasure :)
I love these guys! I don't care what other people sometimes say, the employees are so sweet and they always have an amazing selection of clothing. I also sell on the regular and I always find them to be fair. Sometimes stores fill up and they can't buy in as much but this store tends to have a regular turn around and all in all I feel like they have decent judgement with pricing etc. Anyway, love them. Shop here.
They have some pretty nice stuff but some things are not worth the price I saw several shein shirts price at $15 when the original website doesn’t even have them at $15
High end fashion at a fraction of the price, most items are as new....final verdict: The only place to buy clothes/shoes/accessories!
Every store carries their own unique style depending what neighborhood the store is located in.
I don't even want to tell people to come here because I find such good stuff at this location. I've never sold anything to Crossroads so I can't speak to that, but in terms of what they carry, this spot comes THROUGH. Seriously, half of my favorite clothes are from here. The other half are from the Crossroads on Melrose.
It is a nice place to go if you are sizes small medium and Large ladies pants sizes 1-14. Im a slightly larger size and was not expexting to not find my size. I find more clothes at Goodwill...
It's hard to evaluate the clothing here when the most horrible and wretched music is constantly blaring in your ears as you shop. I don't think I've ever been so agitated while shopping. And how is it that no matter who is working the worst music gets chosen? And speaking of who is working, judging by their blank faces and sloth-like movements, maybe they play such music because they actually want you to leave?
Ok, as far as the clothes go, there is a large selection and you can find good stuff. I think it's a bit pricey for second-hand, but it is what it is.
Find a different crossroads, go griffith park, go melrose. If you are not deaf, you might want to skip this one.
Well buying pre loved items are just the perks if you wanna save but mostly a wide variety of high end brands is here to choose from and its not really that high as other stores do sell, it's just fair enough and good customer service...
really white area and dudes here speak in slang they definitely didn’t grow up with but they have cool clothes
Tons of quality items at good prices. Many half off scattered through store. Walked away with five pieces for 117$ incl tax.
Cool vibe, but the staff seemed kind of fatigued. The manager acted confused like she was behind the counter at Saks. This is Silver Lake, not Rodeo drive.
This place is amazing. I got a huge haul of vintage clothes ( or at least I think they are ) for a cheap price! Score!
Each location differs in local style but they're usually looking for same items to buy per season. Shared parking lot in back. This store isn't too vibrant in colors.
Really good store with a large selection of clothing. You can buy jackets, jeans, etc. There is also an athletic apparel section. The store was very clean and organized.
Decent sized mens selection but didnt really find a lot of stuff i liked. Prices were about medium.
cool stuff 😎 enjoy coming here. And when I do trade with them, they always get a couple items from my heap of clothes. …
This is one of the best shops around. Super clean and large variety! Organized well!
Great selection. Bought myself a shirt in a very good condition from American apparel for just 15$.
Great value.
One of our favorite places to shop. Great selection of deals. You won't walk out of there empty-handed.
I only sold here. Stop by before taking your old clothes to Goodwill; you may get some pocket cash to spend on coffee.
don't sell clothes here, they are stingy and picky and give bad deals. selection used to be better!
This store is one of my favorite places to get great deals every thing here is so kool
It's a pretty cool store they do have a lot good stuff.
I’ve had good experiences both buying and selling here. One of the better crossroads for sure. 👍 …
Really really good name brand clothes. Lots of cute shoes! Lots of great deals.
They always have something cool to buy or see whenever I go. Prices are decent.
Great crew running the place; feels safe and hospitable during the pandemic.
this place is a hit or miss. sometimes they have good shoes, sometimes theyre dry.
Nicely curated, frequently refreshed collection of used clothing offered at reasonable prices.
More of a chic thrift store. Less random crap, but now expensive than a traditional salvation army or something if the sort
Cool store! Nice clothing but a lil pricey
This spot has a lot of clothing. Better than your average thrift store & a little more expensive, too.
Everything about the store every perfect imperfect thing it is amazing
An ever changing selection of great clothes all organized by size!
Good selection but surprisingly high prices for secondhand goods.
Best deals in silverlake
Very choosey about what they will buy it from you and what they will not which this pretty much almost everything that I owned.
Great place! Professional Staff! O Will be returning.
One of my favourite thrift stores in LA.
One of my favorite locations! Great selection
I always find great stuff when I'm in there!
Awesome spot for slightly overpriced used clothes that are in style.
Great experience! Thank you!
Awesome thrift store with good prices.
This is the most organized location I've been to.
