I liked this place. It has affordable clothing, unlike Goodwill these days. It's massive and organized for the most part, lots of appliances and furniture. There are two things I did not like, however, the prices on the toys and traffic. I don't understand why thrift stores spike up the prices on useless toys, and as for the traffic, it really isn't their fault. It's a heads up for you.

I was honestly blown away. I love thrifting and I thought I'd give this place a shot and wow! First of all. It's VERY organized. Honestly the most organized thrift store I've ever seen. Such a huge selection of clothes, purses, etc. The prices were also very low and they have tag specials for extra money off. Also, wonderful costumer service which is a plus plus. Will definitely be coming back and telling family and friends about this place!

I just LOVE this thrift store! Every time I come into town it's one of my favorite thrift stores i have to come to. The store is always clean & organized. Also the employees are very friendly & service is quick. They get a A++++ in my book ! **** Just came back in town & went by & was surprised at the lack of inventory they had on the racks.... But this thrift store has never let me down before soooo I'll go back in a couple of days...fingers crossed.

I love this store. I don't stay in the area but when I do come to this area I like to come here. I always find something in the jackets section. You always find a good random item you weren't looking for. They still got that Galaga machine where the furniture is at. Employees are always welcoming when you walk in or walk out.

This is a large store. Used to be owned by a guy from Chicago. I think they still might get merch from there...some exotic pieces in Women's evening attire. Usual stuff: clothing all, art, housewares, furniture, small electronics, jewelry, purses, shoes, bedding. Interesting stuff in textiles. Clean. Pleasant staff. Multiple discounts offered; military, colored tags.

Good selection of items. Use to come here when I was kid had not been inside in over 15 years. Vintage is scarce as items have been changing over time but know you get to see your childhood items 90s kids so its fun to go and take your kids to remenece and learn that its not all shopping mall and walmart all the time.

Pretty large selection of practically anything. Certain days offer discounts on certain color tagged items. As for customer service, it can be pretty hit and miss, more emphasis on miss. Overall, worth a visit if you're treasure hunting. If you're looking for additional furniture not on the floor, checkout the sheltered unconditioned area by the dressing rooms.

The items are well organized i.e. clothing, toys, linen, decor, furniture. The clothing is separated according to size and likeness. Clothing accessories are in categories as well. The staff are always professional and courteous. Their store is always clean.

There is always something new and different to find here. I especially love their belts and children's clothing. Not a fan of the "random loose items in bags" method of displaying small toys and craft supplies. It's unattractive and hard to see what you're getting, so I usually give up quickly.

Alamo is OK for a thrift store, but their prices are not that great unless you get them "on sale", meaning that they give discounts certain days for certain products. The layout of the store is a little awkward but it's sorted well enough. I prefer other thrift stores myself...

I have seen 3 thrift stores 2-Salvation Army 1 Sand Dollar out of business. Its cust's like myself whom keep places in business! This is a serviceable thrift store: large, well-organized, and reasonably priced. But there are better ones, and since it is half an hour from me I don't think I'll go back unless I am on my way back from Galveston or something. I did find a few things at good prices, but a lot of the merchandise is pretty worn and the overall quality of the the items is so-so. I like digging and I don't care about labels, really; but if I am going to dig I'd like to find some gems. What I did get: a nice H&M dress for $7 and a Chaps button-up for my toddler nephew for $2. The best deal I saw was a like-new mens linen Tommy Bahama shirt for $1. But just down the rack there was a Ralph Lauren button-up for $24, which was weird. Most things are between $2-10. I would recommend Family Thrift on Long Point, Wayside or 59. They are equally large and well-organized, comparably priced, and offer a better range of merchandise. Almost everything is in good wearable condition and you can find a lot of good labels like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Chaps and Gap. I usually find at least one VERY good item: BCBG, Ralph Lauren, Nanette Lepore, Adrianna Papell, and even Burberry. The kids' selection is better. The housewares are about the same....but cheaper.
