Reviews of Goodwill Store and Donation Center
Store is big but nothing really stood out here. Shelves are massively disheveled but I guess that’s to be expected at a thrift store. There are tons of clothes but I didn’t really see local (Hawaiian) type of clothing. There are books and DVDs along with a few bikes but all in all, nothing special about this particular goodwill. I’ve seen a lot better around the island, especially at Savers.
Love this store! Clean well organized- they relocated the home goods area and it is much better!
The store was alright there was a decent selection, not a lot of furniture though sadly. Be warned about the parking garage though, I had to wait for the car next to me to leave in order to leave from the top level. I wish there would've been more signs saying tight fit, I was in a Tacoma for any other truck drivers.
Good bargains. Books (fiction) hit or miss. But more often than not there's books I haven't read yet.
Need a better furniture section. Nice variety of clothes and cleanliness on the apparel side. Home good side seems a bit unorganized and messy. Drive-thru drop off was polite, easy, and quick; very convenient
This Review is for Goodwill Store & Donation Center: Organized, clean & friendly hosts.
Looks are deceiving; this store is HUGE! So many sections indoors, with am outdoor and garage section too! Overwhelming amount of stuff. Whereas a regular Goodwill might have 2-3 rows of dresses, this one will have 7-8 minimum. You could spend hours there and not even see half of it.
They remodeled the place, so it's much bigger, less ghetto and cleaner. There used to be gangs of homeless people standing in front of the store, standing in pools of urine, like they were for sale too. This was before the remodeling, and I did not see any of them in the usual spots. There was also a much less noticeable stinch of urine. They seem to have added a large parking garage, where I did see ruffians smoking tobacco. They also moved the registers from the front to the back, which promotes more theft. It looks like shoplifters like their new design. Overall it's much cleaner, more room, and unusual layout. I only went on the first floor and parking garage. -Mr. G Hawaii
Employees are polite and friendly. Since the remodel, the store is spacious, clean, air-conditioned, and large. Parking is available on the second level. Everything is new and nice. Restrooms and dressing rooms are temporarily closed due to covid. Donate items before you shop, and ask for a receipt. You'll receive a 20% coupon good for any regular priced item. On Mondays, they have "last chance" clothing that are all $1.99 each.
I'm working part #3 on store shopping, at Goodwill I bought a small desk and two ,expensive when sold new, chairs and I always find a couple more items to go with that. At Times supermarket I bought a lot , of things to drink and some bananas the store as a whole gets a passing grade. Then I had to get that stuff home 1/4 mile away, anyways I will survive!
Not too busy a shop on day before Christmas eve. Roof deck parking lot is nice in a location where parking can be difficult. Enter from back street that runs parallel to the main one passing the store front. Steep narrow ramp to get to the roof top. Donation drop-oof its on the street level from this back street entry.
This store has changed over the years and for the better - excellent organization and signs direct you throughout the store for what you seek.
I was vacationing in Oct. and visited the store on a Sunday. This store is huge compared to the ones in the Bay Area. The clothing prices are higher I am used too but very good selection of everything. Parking was abundant.
Prices are high and lines are long but sometimes there's a gem.
I was surprised to see how much they have reduced in items for sale. I could not find and silverware, but did manage to find soup bowls and coffee cups. My daughters found a few items too! We will definitely go back to thrift again!!
I love it !! NO OFFENSE PLEASE . But my younger days ,i wouldnt get caught Dead in a store like Wallmart ,Goodwill ect.! lol jk now im disabled EVERY PENNY COUNTS so This is PERFECT TREASURE HUNT ! like in door Garage sale ...i usually get very lucky finding items ive been looking for 🙏🏼✊🏽👍🏽 Mahalo …
This is a great GOODWILL. Nice staff. I joined the Goodwill Club and on 30 June ENTIRE store was half price….SCORE! Very clean store. LOTS OF GOOD STUFF.
Its nice and cool place to shop on a sunny day! Cool air up stairs. Lots of clothing, men's and women's. Always new stuff. Would be a great place for tourists to find Aloha shirts ECT. For their trip. Furniture, brick and brack. Easy to park out back and street parking. Nice store. Shop their a lot!
Hit or miss on items. The line usually moves very slow. But, it's large and the prices are pretty good. I come here often and once scored a small ikea coffee table for $8!
Clean and well organized, nice staff. Can't wait for dressing rooms to open up again!
Lots of kitchen items, good prices, found a lot of nearly new pots & pans.
Overall one of the better Goodwills I've been to. Reasonably clean, organized and large selection.
my favorite place! was better few years ago when they had the clothes sorted by size, then again by colors! always find amazing deals: dior jacket, D&G jeans, Gucci blazer, lots of banana republic, ann taylor, etc...
I bought an Insignia digital photo viewer, here, for $7.99. Insignia is the house brand of Best Buy. I think that at Best Buy this sells for $39.00. I was lucky with this purchase, since it was placed on the shelf yesterday. I have been looking for something like this for years. I am using this device primarily for its clock and calendar. And, it has never been used and it works perfectly!!
Good service. Well organized. But not much stuff. It's mainly clothes. I was looking for a couple of kitchen things and there's not much in that department.
This particular Goodwill did not have much in my size although I did find a nice handbag.
Chill location, lots of variety. It's a drop-off location. So they always have new goods
It was so so. I just dropped of 2 bags probably over $1000.00 worth of better clothes then they had there .
Store is still GOING under construction so finding great items IS not all that great. Can't wait TO experience the huge new store.
Thought they were closing, found out they are downsizing?
Inventory is now very minimal, there main stock is clothing, some bags, backpacks, shoes. Limited small electronics, desktop flat screen Televisions, misc tech items in there glass case. Did not see any kitchen accessories no books or furniture as of this update 08/29/2019.
Great selection for a thrift store. From clothing to household items, you can find something to catch your eye.
Spacious, neat, organized and the people are friendly. Got the biggest Nerf gun I could find for only $6.
I love this place. If you want real deals come here. If you got to much $$$ and don't care then go .
Belive me for a shopping experance you won't think is real Goodwill will blow you away. I go just to ?!#%*@ . come see .

New location, next door, looks cleaner, they're getting still set for more arrivals, but best prices.
The fried spring rolls, Lumpiang Shanghai, very tasty! Ordered an appetizer and a fried rice bowl, perfect meal for 2!

Drive-thru donation drop-off was quick and easy.
I love Goodwill it's a great store to Shop
They're remodeling the building half the building is closed until December 16th. Try the other Goodwill stores for better selection.
Not much here in the way of household items, varies a lot I suppose. If you see it, buy it. It won’t be there when you get back
Goodwill hunting for unusual, affordable wishlist apparel - also great for finding good things that you may not have known you need.
not well-stocked.
noty too much to get from the male pants section
good place to get affordable household items especially kitchen items.
It's open, don't forget your mask and give people 6ft. of space!
Never been to a goodwill store before. This one was well organized and had some new items too.
Good stuff. Seniors get a 20% discount on Tuesdays and Military active and retired receive a 20% discount on Wednesdays
Very nice place, one of the biggest goodwill stores I've ever been to.
A great place to work to shop to bargain Hunt. A wide variety of things to look through..$-$$
this is my favorite Goodwill-it's fun to look around -prices need to come down though-like there manager.
Nice store very large and so much to choose from. Staff are wonderful.
Bring your small car to park because its a small parking area in the backbof the store. Watch out for homeless folks infront of the store.
Lots of stuff, tons of variety but you need time any patience to look through it all.
This location has been renovated and is very clean as well as organized
Wide selection of used, almost new and new goods. Prices are super bargain to reasonable.
Goodwill is always the best, and this location has everything + I love the people & mission
Goodwill has great prices and their clothes are fantastic 😍 SHOP THERE GUYS😘😍 …
If you need something cheap or just for a week or two it's the best place to go, hands down.

When I was wandering around in my biki, I happened to find a store where I could buy a lot of children's clothes.
I am happy to be able to buy a T-shirt with a design that I have never seen in Japan, and it sells for 2 to 4 dollars.
The $1.99 sale on Mondays is gone, but it's always half price or 20% off depending on the color of the tag (the Waialae store is on sale) It's on Beretania Avenue so it's not that bad.As of May 2022, the Waialae store is closed. It is precious because it exists.
There might be bargains not found in Waikiki, and the prices were local prices.
