I’m giving 4 stars because I still enjoy going to St. Vincent’s to thrift occasionally. I don’t want to give up on it yet. However I used to go more regularly because it was more fun to hunt for treasure. But sadly it’s changed. They opened up their “boutique prices” on women’s clothing and they pick out everything that they think is good and charge twice as much for it or even more. Unfortunately not prices I’m willing to pay for what I’m getting. In theory maybe the boutique prices could be a good idea? Not sure. But I wonder is it working for them? It sure has taken the fun out of thrifting there. And I buy a lot less as well. I wish them all the best with their boutique but I hope they decide to go back to their pre-boutique ways.

Awesome thrift store that actually has good prices on quality things, staff is very courteous and helpful. Clean store with a great layout, three floors of great deals to be had, I am frequent customer and will be coming back as always looking for that great deal.

Prices too expensive for a thrift store. There is a ton of inventory and the store is so packed with it, it's a mess. It would probably be less jam packed If the prices weren't so high. Employees are really nice though.

Clothing prices -- RIDICULOUS HIGH. Everything else is about par for local thrifts. If you're specifically looking for clothing items, I would shop somewhere else. The store is kind of dirty too. But that is common in thrift stores in this area.

The store was well organized and most items were fairly priced. Some good furniture was very inexpensive. The staff we talked to were helpful and kind. I liked the industrial building feel. That did make it a little dark in some parts. There were lots of high end clothing and fancy dresses upstairs. Tons of well displayed furniture on the main level. No carts upstairs could be a challenge if you wanted a lot of clothing. We ventured to the store based on post six months ago in Michigan Everything that posted how awesome the 3 level store was. The St. Vincent web-site needs to be updated. We went to the location expecting to find the "3 level thrift store." The basement has been closed for over a year but the photos on the webpage still show large signs indicating the basement is 50% off. The cashier indicated they knew the webpage was long outdated but hadn't gotten to it. Below is a photo of the page screen shot today. Do go to this location. (But do not expect the basement to be open.)

This store was extremely overpriced for a thrift store. I realize the proceeds go to helping the community and the homeless, but at those prices, I could buy the some of the same things at the store either brand new or a buck or two more. It's also extremely disorganized. Hard to walk around, and no way to get a cart upstairs. I'm disabled, so stairs don't work for me. Staff was super friendly though. That's why they get 3 instead of 2 stars.

Very clean and neat, nice items. Some things are a little pricey but I was impressed with this thrift store.

Found three nice sweaters for half price, a few final clearance divided plates & paid full price for a few other housewares. Always have liked this store but the last few times I shopped most of the prices were too high IMHO. The cashier was very friendly & helpful.

I grabbed 2 chairs. 1 was priced $19.99 got it 4 like $15. The second 1 was marked $14.99 and I paid $7 and some change. Love it.

St Vincent de Paul is a pretty awesome thrift store. We drove about an hour to get there. It was well worth our drive. We got a fabulous vintage record player at a fantastic price. I also got some nifty books and clothes too. I highly recommend this place if you're an old soul like myself out in the Grand Rapids Area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cool large store with quality rotating inventory, especially the furniture selection. I've frequented here often and got some really nice finds. Unfortunately, the new 4:30pm closing time no longer allows me to shop there. I work an 8am-5pm job and it's far enough away, so visiting on my lunch break won't work. Closing at 6pm would be more ideal for foot traffic and I think you'd sell more items.

I was surprised by the way they rearranged their store. As soon as you come in there's a big sign about wearing your mask and a hand cleaning station. WOW I was impressed. Lots of furniture. They need more donations to help them continue to help others. I am donating next week. I bought some new overalls there. Thank you St.Vincent for all your years serving the community 😀

Giving 3 stars because they have an amazing selection that is high quality. Although it is a shame the prices aren't lower so that the community they serve can actually afford to shop here. There were so many clothes I would have loved to purchase but I can not afford to spend 10$ on a used shirt. That is higher priced than Goodwill and other resale stores.

Most likely they got everything you need old to new medium small how long big wide they got a library for the kids to go in and read on them love couches so I give it up for that place man you know everything cheap you getting nice things is good people in there Andover yeah I'm going to go back sometime I don't know when but it's going to be sometime

I just love this thrift shop. The furniture upstairs is reasonable priced. They do get name brand clothes in. If you take your time you'll probably find something.

Parking was difficult but that us all my problems. I will continue to donate there as it helps the community and the homeless. They have nice reasonably priced furniture. The set up is very nice. I will go there again

Prices are a bit high but they sell quality items. The whole store has been cleaned and rearranged. They need to fix the elevator.

Went looking for furniture. They have nicer stuff than the junk that makes up much of the other thrift stores, but prices are still ridiculous compared to Craigslist and the like.

The SVdP Thift Store is a great place to shop and it meets the needs of the locals in the community. Not only is it a place for shopping, but it is a place for individuals to take part in volunteering in the community, not to mention the opportunity of being a local channel for social enterprises like The Willing Vessel L3C to be able to utilize its "VolunTier Program".

I think the Prices there are very High on the Clothes that is used and they Donate there people go there looking For Low Prices and Come Out Saying well l can just go Buy It New if is Cost that Much.
