Once Upon A Child has been so easy to shop and sell to. The clothing is organized by size and style so I can browse a while or go directly to what I need. The shoes are really well organized too. I absolutely love coming to this store for not only my little one's clothes but also for toys, baby gear, sleeping sacks, shoes, etc. This store not only has everything because the community bands together for new/seasoned parents, they also come together on prices. I have to believe that the owners and staff know the worth of their products yet they sell the items for affordable prices. Anyone can come here and find what they need! I can't thank this store enough for existing during my pregnancy. I can't wait to come back when little one grows.

The store is always nicely organized with current seasonal items right up front. The staff is so nice and helpful. When selling items they make the process super easy and always give a good amount back to you for what they purchase. You can then cash out or use it for a purchase in the store. With two kids it's nice to have this store as an option when clothes shopping as you get gently used clothes for a great price! Always love shopping and selling here!

Well organized shop. Clothing quality is generally good, but you will need to inspect carefully before purchasing because on occasion, I've ended up with a dud. CAUTION! If you are going to sell your "gently used clothing" to them, they seem to have a bunch of rules that can be intimidating to follow and sometimes there isn't enough staff to process all of the incoming drop offs so you will be turned away. My biggest complaint is their funky accounting process for purchasing "gently used clothing & items". Instead of cash, I have them put it on account. PROBLEM! Using the same phone number, I somehow ended up with 4 accounts. The clerks normally will not take the time to research this so if you are not on top of it, the monies on your accounts will be expire (basically absorbed) by the company after 1 year. I've sold lots of stuff to them and was never informed of this policy, which is frustrating because when the policy is questioned, the clerk offers a standard reply of "we TRY and let our customer's know." So did they or didn't they? Generally, the staff is nice and friendly, but once in a while you will end up with someone who is kind of a grump.

I have shopped at once upon a Child for 12 years now and I still love it. I have also sold my gently used items to them for the same amount of time and it is so easy compared to other places. The store is always clean and super organized and I super appreciate that. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I can almost always come here and find exactly what I was looking for for a deeply discounted price. I have almost exclusively dressed my youngest child with their clothes because of their incredible sales. I will continue to shop and sell here until my kids have grown out of it!

This place is great when you are on a budget for clothes and toys. I have always found what I needed for my two kids. Shoes are usually a little harder to find for my kids here though. If you have items to sell also, you don't have to wait in the store for it to be done but definitely make sure you arrive before they close otherwise you only get store credit for your items they take.

We absolutely LOVE Once Upon A Child! For the year of 2021, our family decided to buy nothing new (besides groceries and under garments). Instead, we shopped second hand and found everything we needed locally. For our children’s clothing, toys, books & accessories, this store has been our go-to. They have an amazing clothing selection for all seasons and our toddler and new born are outfitted in the cutest clothing. We also purchased all of their birthday and Christmas gifts here! The new moms club has also been a godsend as we’ve transitioned to life with two little ones. As we continue our “buy nothing new” lifestyle again this year, we’d like to thank our local Once Upon for being an amazing business model!

I love shopping at this location. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Yes the inventory fluctuates and I don’t always find a lot I’m interested in, but other times I find way more than I should possibly buy (but I buy it anyways!). The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and they always tell you that you have to be back by the end of the business day to pick up the stuff you sell to them. I feel I’ve always gotten a fair price for the items I’ve sold. I would definitely recommend shopping at this store to find great deals!

I personally have had great experiences at this location! I love that there are places like this to get quality items that you know are safe for your children since the staff is aware of current recalls on items. I have sold items to kid to kid as well as here and would come here every time! The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoy selling my items here and purchasing items for my children here. This place has it all!! I love that I can shop for a 9 year old boy and a 6 month old baby girl all under one roof! Lots of options from every day clothes to special occasion fancy clothes! And of course, great for all baby needs! Playpens, strollers, clothes, sleep sacks all for such good prices!!

I have been coming here for over 8 years, back when it had a store by AMC. In my experience they have an amazing selection, I have 2 sons and I have always found great buys for them! My sister lives in California with 2 daughters and whenever her or my mom visit she gets a suitcase full of awesome girl clothes for right around 100 dollars. I cannot tell you enough how great the prices are and depending on the size there is an amazing selection! If you want to buy infant-toddler jumpers/walkers/bouncers check here first!! The staff is always so friendly and helpful, give it a chance if you have a child under 12 especially and you will NOT regret it!!!

As a customer and a seller to Once Upon a Child I can honestly say I've never had an issue and my experience is always positive! The woman that helped me today informed me about their reusable bag promo and between that along with my "5 Star" reward of 20% off I saved $17 on my total order! Their clothes are name brand and rarely in anything other than great used shape! I MUCH prefer this location to Kid to Kid in Littleton. It's just a more friendly store with a better selection of clothing that's generally in better condition than you'll find elsewhere at other consignment stores!

I love purchasing gently worn clothes from this store. It beats searching Facebook marketplace for days snd days, attempting to coordinate with another parent for pickup, only to get a few things you may want. The store is well organized snd kept for a large consignment shop. The teens that work there can be a bit lacking in service snd communication but it’s never hindered or affected my experience. As for those complaining and giving less stars because they didn’t get the money they wanted when selling items here... I’m really wondering why you sold them here at all. If there was so much dissatisfaction, take the item back and try on NextDoor or Marketplace. It’s silly to sell your items, take the money from this mom and pop shop and then complain about it behind a computer screen. But that’s just me. This place is a blessing for moms trying to save a buck!

I've been coming here for many years and I feel that the clothing selection is pretty decent, although some brands are marked up to the same or higher than what you would pay new in the original store, especially when those stores have seasonal sales. Once in a while you will find a gem though, and it is a great place for costumes and swimwear. I have decided to stop selling my items there though. They are very picky about clothing, yet just today I found a shirt on the rack with a huge stain on the shoulder. I'm not sure how items like that get through. They also do not give you much of anything for your items. I would rather donate a toy to Goodwill or other organization than be offered 3 dollars for it when I paid 35 originally and it is in great shape.

I chose 4 stars because this establishment performs two very different services. See below for a more detailed description of my experiences. As a buyer: I would give this store 4 (maybe even 4.5) stars. The only reason it would not be 5 stars is because once I bought some "Clearance" clothes and when I brought them home, they were horribly stained in the hidden areas (The bottom, hidden by the accompanying overalls). Other than that experience, I have to say that this store is amazing. The store is clean and very organized. It's easy to navigate and I cannot begin to calculate the money I've saved buying "like new". Everything really is clean (except the one experience) and they have a stamp program where you can save up and receive 20% off an entire purchase. I love to stop in here once a week and see what is new (since the selection is based on what they receive from others). Everything is checked before it is on the shelf to ensure the product has not been recalled/that the product is in working order. During their event days (Halloween stock, Winter Clothes, Etc.) they are SO ORGANIZED. They could teach other businesses how to properly organize an event, and I mean it wholeheartedly. As you line up, they have an employee come down the line and announce locations before the store opens. I recommend it to all my friends and even acquaintances who ask where I got my children's clothes from. We participate in many community events/children's activities so I get several opportunities to recommend this place and I gladly do so (as a buyer) As a seller: I would rate this store at about a 4 star. Honestly, as a regular buyer I understand the importance of ensuring only quality products are purchased. I would rather them turn away products as this is a HUGE reason why I feel comfortable shopping/recommending this establishment. It is what sets it greatly apart from a donation-based establishment. They do have a great system in place. They have a check list of why products were rejected and will tell you which they would like to purchase and for how much. I understand that working that portion of the business can be difficult. I do not feel comfortable selling my gently used items for that reason because I understand customer service. Selling your items can be difficult. Dealing with individuals trying to sell their items can be difficult. Personally, I would just rather purchase the gently used items and have little to nothing to do with the selling aspect. TL/DR: Definitely come here to buy gently used children's clothes and toys. I wish that I knew about this place when I was shopping for my children when I was pregnant, I would have bought everything from here and saved over 50% the cost of buying new. Considering how fast little ones grow out of their clothes, it is definitely worth it to come here.

Good place to try and make some money off of your still-nice baby stuff before opting to donate somewhere. The staff are hit or miss, sometimes someone at the counter is friendly, sometimes they are caught up more in their own conversations than helping customers. The store itself is also super compact and stuffed, so I wouldn't recommend trying to go on a hunt for things with your little ones with you, or any average size stroller.

Once upon a child generally has high quality products at reasonable prices. There isn't much selection for older kids so I would say to skip if looking for anyone over the age of 12. They are selective with regard to what they buy from sellers, which is good when you are buying but somewhat disappointing when selling. I found some items I needed. I think they need to organize their books more. Overall a good place to shop for second hand goods.

This is the only place that I shop at for my kids. With young children growing so fast, I don't see the point in buying them brand name clothes for a ridiculous amount when they will grow out of it in a few months. The staff is always friendly as well and help out anytime you ask for something. The prices are always reasonable and they don't take you for granted for used items. I recommend this place to everyone who has or are about to have children.

Great place to get clothes, toys, shoes, and more for kids! They also buy back items that you bring for cash or store credit. I love their prices and for the most part it is very organized. The only thing that is sometimes a little disorganized is the shoe bins so make sure to check you are buying the right sizes!

If you're buying it's a great place to get used kids' gear for not a whole ton of money. If you're selling, it's garbage. They gave me $4 for 4 different items (movies and toys that were in pretty decent condition), so I got a buck a piece for 4 items they ask for more of. Disappointed on that front, but I got my kid some winter boots that had hardly ever been worn and only had to spend $10 instead of $14 cause I made $4 when I walked in.

I thought they were very kind and customer service was great. I think some of the earlier reviews are from people selling their items. People get emotionally attached to their stuff and are insulted when someone else doesn't see the same value. I noticed this while standing in line to purchase too. Some lady was offended they wouldn't give her the tag value (the item still had the tags on). I think the store is a great place to shop for things like bouncers and other baby items.The lady brought down several jumpers from the top rack for me to look at and offered a recommendation.

I love Once Upon a Child! I've been selling and buying for years! It's great to get cash or store credit for stuff you don't need anymore. Although you won't get that much when you sell, you will get great deals when you buy. You can find brand name clothes, toys, books, and more. They also host special store events where you can score even more savings. My favorite one is the coat tent event, where you can find a great selection of winter coats, snowsuits, snow boots, and more. Don't forget to ask for their reward program, you could save an extra 20% off!

I love shopping here for my daughter, they have great prices on gently used clothing. I don't think I've ever had problems with clothing I've purchased from here. My only complaint is that selling can be a pain, they're very picky about what they'll take and you get next to nothing for your items. I usually take whatever is left to the ARC next door.

I've sold clothes here and you always know you won't get a ton of money for them but that's fine, and I donate the rest. I shop here for books, and some toys. You can find some great deals if your needing to buy things like jackets, rain boots, even large baby toys. But I do kinda feel that some of the regular clothes aren't totally worth it, but if you shift through you'd probably find something. Oh and great Halloween costumes too!

Both buying and selling have been a great experience. They are quick about getting to sorting through the items you bring in. They do a large volume of business, so expect to wait up to an hour. They are really organized about sizes and types of clothing, that is, everything is sorted.for you. Their prices are fair in my opinion. The only hard thing is access to a dressing room for the kids who are old enough to need one. There is only one,. If you could convince your little girl to wear a cami and shorts, you might get away with trying on clothes on the sales floor. Worth the trouble to search!

I have been a customer here since before I had my daughter. I have always gotten great deals. I just scored an awesome art desk for $18. New its $70 and I haven't found one for under $40 used. I've seen some negative reviews but most are from people who want new items at used prices. Get over it! You get what you pay for, and I'm ok with using a little elbow grease to get something back to almost new when I pay a fraction of the price! In addition, the store has 2 very large warehouses offsite, I know because we have one not far away. They hold a ton of inventory and at some point, they have to say no to things.

When I first visited this location I automatically knew this was going to be a place my family and I were going to shop and continue shopping. This is my first child and baby clothes are pricey because they grow so fast. Once Upon A Child in Littleton is great because their staff is always helpful and awesome. They also have a a great selection of boy and girl clothes.They offer very affordable prices and once my son grows out of anything I will definitely be going here to re-sell and purchase some more! Definitely a place you should visit!!!

There are few stores you can go to where the people working there actually care about you and your items--this is one of them. Even though they can be very busy they do their best to make sure they have time for everyone and make selling used toys and clothes quick, easy and painless.
