I love shopping here, but I’m bothered by the inconsistency of some workers. I can't say the same for all the employees working there, but there are plenty of rude and grumpy ladies who can’t seem to understand basic customer service.

I have always loved shopping here since I am a single mother. I was even able to get my kid and his friends “thrifting”. There are a few downfalls: They put items on the floor that are not priced which means you can not purchase. The pricing of items do not make any sense. You can find a brand new Columbia jacket for the same price as a used no name brand one with holes in it. The Childrens clothing & night attire selection is minimal. The store is dirty. They do have dressing rooms but are always filled with clothes left from others. The employees need an attitude adjustment. If you don’t like your job, find another one. Please get more carts! Otherwise, great selection and love the 50% off sale the last Tuesday of the month. I am consistently losing weight and instead of buying all new clothes each season, I just go here. I can usually buy a seasonal wardrobe for less than $50.

I'm a thrifty store fan, and finding a good one where they sell donations isn't always the easiest. This is only the 2nd one I've came across that's not a disaster or leaves you feeling like a shower is the only thing to do once you exit. This place is clean, organized, huge and you need all day just to properly check it all out, but you'll leave with an entirely new wardrobe, that's a promise. The worker's are patient thankfully since I arrived close to closing time not knowing the heaven's was about to open the gate to the clothing world of angels. I wasn't through the 1st section Upon walking through the front doors and my car was already overflowing...literally. 🤫 Unfortunately I was just in town visiting my daughter so they was kind enough to hold my cart till the next day but misfortune came unexpectedly and I had no choice but to leave back out of town that night and with my mind busy on driving and otherwise I forgotten to call the store and inform them I wouldn't be back in. ( SORRY sweet employees who had to deal with my overflowing cart, and to the amazing clothes I had almost scored but with a no return policy really needed to try on before purchasing 😪😭) But next time I'll be prepared I promise me that. Lol

Positive: +The workers are nice, they have better staff than some other locations. + They do have dressing rooms which is great! + When a price is missing sometimes the manager is willing to find out a price for you if it isn't crazy busy. This is very much appreciated!! Some other stores just say you can't buy it if there is no price which is always sole crushing when you got your heart set on something. Negatives: It's smaller than some locations and seems to have less good/desirable stuff than some of their other locations. It's my least favorite location to go treasure hunting for this reason only.

Very nice thrift store. Think the prices are fair and love shopping here. Never had a problem with any of the employees. They all are very nice to me and my mother when we come rather it’s day or evenings. Love they have dressing rooms as some don’t. And glad you can plug things in to try them out. Also glad they have a public bathroom. I’ve been to some that you had to leave and go down the street just to find a bathroom. I always seem to find what I’m looking for while there. I can spend hrs looking through the clothes and items here.

Great store. Love the $1.99 clothing and good pricing in general. However, is there a way you could have the staff really take the time to vacuum around the fitting rooms, cash registers, and the vending machine area? Also the entrance is usually full of litter. The prices and quality are great though. This is true for all of the other VOAs, which are great.

This store used to be an 84 Lumber so it is huge. They have regular and better types of shopping although I rarely shop the better. I almost always find what I want without the additional cost. They also have dressing rooms to try things on but the floors aren't very clean. Staff is friendly and the last Tuesday of every months, everything is 50% off.

My go-to thrift store. Very large selection, and the store is laid out intuitively. Easy drop off process. We even donated an old car here, as they help fix them up to sell. There is a distinct smell to the store, that comes out after the first wash.

Quite a large thrift store! Pricing is all over the place, but that is to be expected as people pricing goods they are unfamiliar with tend to price them a bit awkwardly. The store can be a bit scattered with parts of something somewhere else. For instance, I found a camera tripod missing the mounting shoe on and endcap and the shoe was on a shelf a few aisles over. The staff try to help as best as possible and they will help move large items up front for you. The selection is quite extensive, you really never know what you might find!

Great selection of clothing, organized by color and not by size. This normally turns a lot of people off, but VOA has the best clothes and makes it worth the trip everytime. It not being organized by size makes it difficult and time consuming, my only complaint.

This store is cleaner than any other thrift store that I have been in. The staff are helpful, friendly and constantly stocking the racks. They have a huge selection of clothing by type and color. The housewares section is fantastic!

Great item stock and good turn over. Their "as-is" warranty on items ment I had to hot wire a microwave, stick wires in outlet without a plug, in store to see if it worked since there is no return on items and microwave didn't have a plug just bare wires.

Great selection and there is a regular car auction available every few weeks. If you like thrift stores make this one a priority! I found a great pair of shoes here

This is my favorite thrift store. The prices are awesome! I always shop in the cheapest clothes section and get shirts for $1 or $2. I can replace my whole wardrobe here for $40 and get really cute clothes, I love it!

I find the best stuff here.... BUT my last experience was absolutely traumatizing. I went to grab a cart. The first cart I pulled out didn't roll well. I tried the next cart , the cart rolled fine but had TWO poop filled diapers, with poop falling out of the diapers, and poop covered baby wipes covering the inside of the cart. That stench hit me so hard I seriously started to heave stomach contents in the back of my throat. I ran outside, almost puked, and just left. Didn't even tell the staff.

Absolute best store that happens to be thrift. Most of my clothes and furniture and decorations come from here. I moved to the east side and I miss this place so much! It's the only good thing about the west side.

Prices on some stuff is outrageous seeing as it was all donated. They always have 3 colored tags that are worth a certain amount off the price. But you won't find a lot of clothing with those colored tags.

Last Tuesday of every month is half price day at the least expensive thrift store in Columbus. All merchandise is half off. It's not unusual to walk out with two garbage bags for $40 of clothing.

All the staff is great. So is merchandise Better than salvation army . Here all clothing is washed no dust air is clean if you go to the salvation on georgesville and sullivant its smelly too much second hand smoke. they dont care about customers

I use to work there and I loved all the prices. Go here instead of ohio thrift its so much cheaper. Only reason I gave it 4 is because some of the workers were rude and awful people. But that was in 2012 and there's been new hires since then
