Good place to buy work clothes if you have a labor job. You can get higher quality stuff and not worry about getting it dirty or torn up. They also have a lot of bigger name brands that still have the original tags for much cheaper than buying new at a major retail store.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores. My first choice when looking for shoes. The quality and prices of their shoes and clothes is great and I love the additional daily discounts. Staff is friendly and professional. This store is well organized and it is easy to find specific items I’m seeking. The only thing that would improve my experience is if there was a changing room to try on clothes to make sure they fit before committing to purchase.

Store is run by truly caring people! I always have a great shopping experience. Today, I saw the store manager (owner?) standing in the rain attempting to unlock a customer's car for them after they'd locked their keys inside! The world needs more people like that. Spend your money here, not at Wal-Mart! Support compassionate small business owners.

I was looking at a handful of records they had in stock, as I am starting a collection. I found one I wanted to buy and as I went to checkout, the owner came up to me genuinely interested in what I was buying. I explained my collection, and he stopped what he was doing to go get the rest of the records which we’re stocked in the back room. I was taken by surprise with his willingness to help me out. I looked through and bought a handful more of records and am so grateful for this store and the supporting staff! Highly recommend!

Best thrift store in Columbus. Staff is always friendly, they greet every customer who walks in the door. The store is always very clean and organized. The clothes never have any bad odor, missing buttons or rips. I shop here at least two times a week here and never had any issues.

I love this place, I can always find something I like AND that fits. Great place for bigger women to shop if she needs newer clothes at a great price! You can get name brand items at a great discount, they have a wide selection, and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

First let me start by saying I absolutely love this place. The staff is very friendly and well organized. I was so sad when they were closed for a while due to COVID. Once I found out they where opened back up I rushed over. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed in some of the ridiculous prices on some items (not all items). I truly understand there are mouths to feed but at the end of the day these items are donated. For someone living paycheck to paycheck with 2 growing kids I learn to rely on thrifted items. I’ll definitely come back time to time and still highly recommend but I’d rather shop at a thrift shop closer to my house.

Love, Love, love, this place! I especially love the fact that they have 50% off days twice a month. I also like how they have all the clothes sorted by size and the fact that plus sizes and maternity are kept separate so you can easily find them. I also love the fact that I have 48 hours to return clothes. That way I can shop for my daughter and whatever she doesn't want I can bring it back for store credit. Its easy to go through the store and I always find something I need.

My fiance and I love shopping around all the different thift stores in the Columbus area. I happen to come across this place and we love it. We only had 30 minutes before they closed however the staff was very helpful and the entire store was well organized/clean. The only complaint is there is no fitting rooms. I spoke to the staff and they advised me I could return items that didn't fit within 2 days. We are already looking forward coming back!!

I love to shop here!!! I Always find killer clothes! They recently reorganized the store and it's easy to find what you are looking for, even by size! The staff is so incredibly, I always feel welcome and that my business is appreciated. Great sales too! See you there...I will try not to find all the great deals before you get there, wink wink.

Pros: nice selection in men's, ladies, kids. They have a plus size ladies section. Cons: no fitting room not sure if they have a public restroom, I did not see any marked door if they do. Did get a sense that the employees were following and watching me shop but not offering assistance made me feel uncomfortable and stereotyped. I probably would have shopped longer if this was not the case and I would have bought more things if there was a fitting room. They did say that I had 48 hours to return items for exchange if they did not fit but I would prefer to just be able to only buy items that I knew would fit.

The employees/owner are so so nice, I go there frequently and it’s always a good experience. Most clothes even have the tags on them brand new. Always quality clothes and great service and the 50% off is twice a month which is awesome

Love this Thrift Store!! I find everything here, especially bedding and decorative items. This store is very organized, which makes items easier to find. I love all the name brand clothes at great prices!! The employees are always friendly and helpful and greet you as you come in the door. Though the pictures showed a great selection of books I didn't really find anything that interesting. A lot of text books, cook books and tons like that. It did have A TON of clothing and toys, but was lacking on housewares. The staff was super friendly and were working extremely hard. Though it wasn't my forte, I would definitely stop in if you are looking for clothing!

I simply enjoy shopping at Family Thrift. My apologies to the owner I had did a review for the wrong store and I definitely did not mean Family Thrift I'm on here to make my correction Family Thrift is awesome I always go in there with intentions to spend a certain amount but I always end up leaving out spending over $50, they are so reasonable and you can find some of everything and anything. The store is very clean and organized. You are greeted upon entering the store and also told thanks for coming. I either shop there once or twice a week but never miss one of my days LOL. Just recently I bought some practically new Ralph Lauren Polo boots for $10 oh, I simply love them.

I never fail to find an abundance of nice, clean clothes in my sizes (L, 34-36/30). Everything is well organized and all of the staff are helpful and friendly, managing to drag a smile out of me regardless of my attitude. Some of the prices (not too many) seem a little bit high (certainly not excessively), but that is made up for with all of the sales and discounts that they offer-i.e. half-price sales, veteran discounts, and Val-Pak coupons as well as the time that I save by only needing to visit one store and not having to spend hours searching through every article of clothing to find my size. Also well-lit, wheelchair accessible, and perfect climate control.

Family Thrift has a variety of goods for the entire family. The prices are fairly competitive compared to other thrift stores in the area. They also have two days in the month that merchandise are sold at fifty percent off. And that's the second and fourth Monday's of the month. Regardless of the two monthly sale days, they always have the colored coded tag system everyday, which your savings are correlated to the tag color. You can save 25, 50, or 75 percent per item. Even items that are not on sale are worth checking out. Because they have many good buys. Enjoy your visit!

Each time I've been to the Family Thrift store I've come away with stylish, gently used, quality clothing. The prices are lower than chain thrift stores and the brand selection keeps me coming back. I was able to come on half off day this month and had my best haul yet! I found amazing clothing from JCrew, Banana Republic, Gap, Uniqlo, Eddie Bauer, Hollister, and other brands as well. The store is clean, organized, and the owners are helpful and friendly. I'll be back!

Nice stuff, but I rarely evert see the percent off color tags ever. Finally found one today on a pajama top hidden back in the small selection of women's jammies. If you can find one, it's alright, if not, that place is way too expensive for me. $6.99 for a flannel shirt, I don't think so!

High prices! This store is starting to get a better selection of clothing. Electronics and odds and ends are very crappy looking. Sets of cups, bowls, wine glasses are way overpriced. They need a better inventory. The shoes are hellish, I wouldn't dare put my feet on some of those dirty, worn out monstrosities. Of course women's clothing is the biggest seller so those come and go quickly, but many items are too high priced for a funky thrift store. Dresses are 8.99 and up. You might get lucky and find something but you'll get much fewer items for the same price that you'd get a lot of items at a Volunteers of America, or Ohio Thrift store. I hope they get better.

I have gone in here quite a few times, and this last time I went in, I bought alot of items, and the pjs I bought for my little guy, ... I noticed the top and bottoms were on separate hangers, and separate price tags.... though they were clearly a set ! I asked the cashier if he could do better on the price for the pair of pjs, since they originally came together in the store & the answer I got was just crazy! I was totally upset with the "way they sell children's pajama sets" The cashier at the time I bought them, told me that they sell the set pieces seperatly because "not everyone wants to buy the 2 pieces, that they may only want bottoms or top pieces" .... this was the most rediculous answer I have ever heard ! I have noticed that the pricing overall has gone up , they are not nearly as good on prices, or customer service... as they were in the first year they opened. Now, they are the same as other thrift stores, nothing that sets them apart like there was in the beginning. I am really upset with the fact that I ended up paying more for used pjs, than I could have paid for NEW ONES AT WALMART,... I was in a hurry on time, and I wasn't able to go to walmart at that point, .. so I bought the pajamas anyway,... but I won't be making any special trip to go to this thrift store instead of other ones in the area.... like I used to do.

Half off everything sales 2 Mondays a month and always have great selection!! The only downside is their restroom ( meaning you may want to have tp and cleaning products to clean 1st then TP to wipe) other then that the selection is great
