Place is a good size and does smell like "dead grandma's closet" but I have to admit I have picked up a few t shirts here before that was $5 or less so if you do come in and browse I'm betting you'll find a few pieces worth taking home and you'll spend $10 doing so.

I've loved this place since they were on Brighton Ave. If my aunt hadn't told me they moved, I'd be losing out! The location has lots of parking, not a worry, and the stock is plenty, Color combined racks, styles, all organized. I always go out with filled arms. BYOB, or they may have an extra one, or box.

I brought a lot of kids's clothes to the store again. When it was located in Brighton-Allston area I was there almost every weekend because of making very little money I still managed to dress nicely thanks to the store. And very nice people work there. It's not a store for middle class, it's a store for students, for people with low income.

I found out about this place through a YouTuber, decided to check it out. Love the prices and the color tags 50%. Now this is actual thrifting prices. Would give 5 star if clothes were separated by size because it's a lot to go through but still a nice store, found some good brands for good prices

Very large thrift store. Very well organized. The sections were a little confusing, but there were lots of employees around available to help. Something for everyone here.

Good thrift store with lots stuff. Mostly clothes, but they also have some toys, movies/books, and housewares. The only issues I have are with the clothes: They don't have a dressing room and staple the tags to the clothes, which can often ruin them so be sure to double check for holes before you buy. Store is cash only, the aisles are narrow and it's always crowded. The only reason it still gets four stars is because the prices are hard to beat.

I go to the store at least three times per week I like the store I just don't like that when it's name brand stuff that it's so expensive and ping tags are never on sale

Have been going to UR for over 15 years. Love!!! It is the best. Always go home with bags of treasures. Stop complaining about the tight squeeze in the aisles. Your getting amazing brand name clothes for 5% of the retail price. Make It Work.

My favorite spot is the "Electronics Department" ........ A Samsung sound bar with subwoofer 14, a iRobot vacuum like new with all the accessories 20... I always rent Blu-Ray discs for my movies, and my expensive BD players at home can't play most of them. I was there two weeks ago and found 2 BD players a Sony and a Samsung for 4.99 each. I bought them, then arriving home to realize they were Region Free with no limit to play my discs...so happy..... Yesterday, before ordering it, I was so lucky to go there and find the genuine power supply for my laptop and some excellent HDMI cables, and everything for just 1 dollar (99 cents) each. I don't know if these great prices will last forever. Just take your chance and do not forget to bring CASH with you as they don't use cards as payment option.

Ticket required for bag check when browsing the store. Cash only. Stickers prices yellow, blue or green. ATM inside. Public restrooms are on the back of the store.

Great place to find cheap and good brand clothes. I don't like the fact that electronics are sold as is, so after purchase, if they work fine, if they don't, you are screw. Most of them, don't have the power cord. The worst thing is that they only accept "Cash Only" even though they don't have a sign anywhere.

Great clothes and home decor at a very reasonable price. Cash only but they have ATM and a bathroom. Put your clothes back on the rack you found it on to make the employees lives easier!

Urban renewal's is a very interesting place I like it because it's very organized and their prices are very reasonable. It's too bad that they don't take debit cards they only take cash but that's okay I will still go there to catch the great bargains

This store is incredible, I don't care who you are they got nice pants and shirts, belts, hats, you name it for a few dollars a piece, I mean a FEW barely anything, do not miss out.

Great thrift store with lots of items. I love that they separate things by color! So soothing. It felt really crowded the last time I went. Everyone was wearing Masks but I felt like everytime I turned around I had to fumble to get away from ppl. With narrow isles that added to the difficulty. I also recently got off crutches. If I was still on crutches or in a wheelchair I would have had difficult in the aisles. They are narrow.

It's definitely TO closed in !!!! They have 4 /5 rows that have no way of passing the next shoppers without literally bumping them. They need to break up the rows !!! I'm thinking about it now and I wonder if It's even legal to have it like that ?!? Besides that, I got a nice set of candle holders for a good price.
