Place was clean...20% books which was ok by me. ..I was surprised at the amount of rude people, randomly blocking aisles and literally had a purple head push me & my cart at checkout to get to an open register and she wasn't next in line?!?

This has always been my favorite thrift store in Boston. They have great selections and I could honestly spend hours in here!! I've had some fantastic finds, staff are pretty friendly overall. However, they have gotten so pricey for no reason!! I don't even understand why... not only that, cuz I know they cannot always control the prices, but even so, the new self-checkout model is a nightmare! They never should've installed it!! I wish they'd bring back the regular check out... but I will still continue to go here nonetheless!

I have been coming to Savers for over 20 years and I absolutely love this place, however I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star because on my last visit the fitting rooms were closed and I was unable to try on my clothes. Savers policy is you can come back to exchange items but you cannot return items. So basically I have to buy something, go home try it on, if it doesn't fit I have to go back, exchange it for something else and keep repeating the process until I find stuff that fits....ugh! I understand things were different because of COVID, however you can have maybe every other fitting room open and have an employee spray down the room before another person enters. A customer shouldn't be inconvenienced. **update** On the plus side they now have self check out which I like a lot better!

Great Savers location. Lots of merchandise, and high end items can be found if luck is with you. Keep an eye out for half price sales on holidays. Tuesday is senior day with 30% off for customers over age 55, and can be very busy here. It's very busy during the month of October also. Donations get you a coupon for 20% off, so remember to bring your unwanted, saleable items with you when you plan a visit.

I had a great time, when entering the store, I was greeted cheerfully, with and sanitizer, for my cart, it wasn't crowded. The floors are clearly marked for easy distancing. I had a great time searching for treasures, and practical house hold items. Family friendly mom's and dad's shopping for summer, beach items and back to school. You have to come see for yourself. Great place to relax, and putt around.

Compared to other Savers, I felt a little uncomfortable because of the crowd. I'm not sure if they sanitize, and it was quite stuffy. Bathrooms were open. Lines were long, but they followed most protocols. I still enjoy going and hope they keep prices reasonable on houseware items. Great to find vintage men's clothing!

This is a nice location and they have a very courteous staff. I always look for books everywhere I go and I do like the fact that Savers have all of their books on the shelves in different labeled genres. That is a good and bad thing as the cheapest book you can get there is small paperback for $2.99, the average price for any book is $3.99 and bigger hardcovers at $4.99. That is a bit steep for me especially compared to Goodwill or other places. That's the premium you pay for having them categorized. I don't mind paying $5 for a great book, but they only price them based on size and cover not on quality so that limits my visits to Savers. Sometimes they have deals on book of buy 3 get 1 (the cheapest one) free but that can easily be up to $15. The problem is that I have looked up every book I've bought there and more often than not, they are usually priced $1 or more above their worth, which you could get on Amazon. Other than that, the store is filled with trinkets and it has a very large floor, mostly filled with clothes, good amount of outdated electronics and some furniture but a lot of kids toys and board games. They also have public restrooms that a customer can use which is a very good thing. A minor setback is also the lack of shopping bags, you are not given one upon your purchase, rather you have to purchase one if you want it for ¢50 and it is a paper bag as they don't have plastic, which is fine, or you can have your own bag.

Good selection and variety and prices like most of the stores. However, I don't know if this is a store policy or a city policy, but you have to buy your own bags when you are done shopping. I didn't know this ahead of time and luckily didn't buy too much, but that's certainly something that should be made known beforehand.

Outstanding service. I spent over an hour looking at jewelery and the store manager h made sure someone was helping me out the show l whole time. Prices are great for consumers. A little steep for resellers like me, but there are still definitely deals to be had.

Savers is a great place for all who loves thrifting. But the prices have gone up on the products. They were more reasonable when it first opened. It seems like every time I go back it’s getting higher. Overall very clean thrift store and good customer service.

I mainly visit this store to find books for a good price. I especially interested in computer literature. I found there couple of books about JAVA and C++ with CD for both of them. Most of the time on Amazon alike books will cost you at least triple from the price provided in Savers. Other than that, I like to explore non fiction literature. I was thinking about buying other goods they have. There are a lot of clothes as well. Love this store.

I've loved this place ever since discovering it last summer. It's kind of like a giant scavenger hunt for vintage addicts. You can spend hours in there but I've never emerged empty handed. But this weekend they earned my love even more...I donated a sofa to the store, and after discovering my cats were missing, called them to see if they had turned up. Low and behold, one of them had stowed away onboard a sofa! The entire staff helped out, searching the store while we dissected the sofa to find my poor little kitty, scared out of his wits, gripping onto its frame. The manager Tini is my hero! She genuinely cared and was persistent about it. I wish more people were like that. She and her store are both real gems!

Always new items daily. Mgr will adjust prices accordingly employees are all awesome, even though I don't know any of them personally. Do your laundry next door and browse savers or the dollar store in the same plaza

Can't beat the value and the selection. If you love going through stores that sell "previously worn" clothing, this is the place to check out. Watch for special discount days when you can get 50% off clothing and other items.

Huge thrift store, always lots of great things to find. A little more expensive than other local options (Boomerangs and Goodwill), try and bring in a box of donations with you to get a 20 percent off coupon. I've made a lot of great knick knack finds here, interesting book finds, and occasionally some collectables. The amount of clothes is astounding, rivals bthe Harrison Goodwill (but again, pricier). Plan a goodish amount of time. This local is close to the Habitat for Humanity reStore, I usually will hit both while I'm in the area.

The price on albums has risen to $3.99 each, which is too much for the albums offeredmost of them are too scratched, covers ripped or even moldy, to be sold for that price. I believe you'd sell a lot more if the price was more in line with what they charge for records at the Norwood location.
