I love thrifting, but this one is not my jam. Lots of product to sort through, but it's mostly just dumped into bins and you have to dig through it. I know people who have found amazing things here, including sterling silver cups and designer shoes, but my luck is not that great. As others have said, bring gloves and be careful!

Love this place. I find tons of stuff here and if you get a cartful, you just weigh it and pay by the pound. You may want to bring gloves as everything is just in bins and you have to dig through it. Hand sanitizer is helpful, too.

I have found decent items but there really isn't much for clothing bins. Based on the empty space and the overwhelming number of clothing pallets outside, there could be more. Rotations are slow compared to Goodwill Outlets (in other states). Prices are cheap!

Scored some cool, in great shape items. The prices can't be beat-- 99 cents per pound, clothing items 75 cents, shoes- $2.99. Most everything was in really good shape. The were a lot of winter clothing items, and it's spring rolling into summer... Had to dig and dig. Also, be careful in the brickabrack bins, almost cut my hand on broken glass.

Our family finds this place fun. It is a hit and a miss with this place. Sometimes you get great things that just need a little more love (a good scrub down, or a new coat of paint.) And sometime (like after $10cart day) yeah you are going to find NOTHING. But its fun. But there was an employee Monica she was pushing carts on $10 cart day. She was so friendly. Great attitude. She was just an exceptional person.

Love this place I wish there were more like it in every state! It's a bit like dumpster diving as you're looking for quality finds in donated items.... so it's best to utilize gloves. The workers are friendly, and the prices are unbeatable! Best kept secret in Boise.

Great place that sells the surplus items that come in to the central location for the numerous shops in the region. You dig thru piles and boxes and are likely to find anything. Furniture is priced very low but it is popular so it's gone almost as soon as it is out. But you can find great buys on luggage, purses, outdoor items, baskets, toys, books, and much more. I've purchased several really nice lamps and rugs. Everything is sold by the pound on a sliding scale according to weight. Well worth spending a few hours just digging around to see what you may find!

Sooooo many things! Just a bunch of stuff to dig thru and look thru. I'd recommend bringing gloves but honestly you can find anything here you just gotta dig. Dog collars, leashes, BOOKS, lamps, furniture, shoes, clothes, candles I mean the list goes on. Not really organized so again be prepared to dig for stuff. I can spend hours here. It's like 60 cents a pound or something.

My hubs and I love spending an day going through all the 'stuff' it`s amazing what you can find, and so much fun hunting. There are some drawbacks however , one being all the bigger boxes are just way too tall for most people to get into, I know there are some really great finds way down in the bottom lol! another is all of the empty boxes left in the bins, it would be awesome if someone were to go through prior to opening to take the ' boxes' out. I tend to pass the bins that are difficult to 'get into" I do take out the empties but don`t know what to do with them so I simply just put them back. I hope this does not sound ungrateful ? this is an awesome place. Thanks

Great place to rummage through people's old stuff. It's like surfing through 7 stores worth of stuff all in one hardly organized warehouse. Lots of shoes, kitchen supplies, toys, etc. Also, they sell these items by weight. Certainly worth a visit if you're looking to purchase very specific used items.

Lots of fun!! Be prepared to get a bit dirty and bring gloves! Shoes are priced per pair as well as clothes and Records. For the most part everything else is per pound. Outside area can be a blast, but also the most dangerous and dirty/wet (imo), so be careful. Larger items are outside, so encountering broken glass is pretty common. Bring a large contractor bag or two for your finds, gloves and optional dust mask and you should will be all set.

We visit this place now and then especially when garage sale season is over. This is definitely a fun place for treasure hunters and bargain chasers. If you say this is nothing but a place with junk thrown in boxes, you are doing it wrong. Bring gloves to protect your hands from any broken items. The main downsides of this place: Their bathroom is horrid and there is ALWAYS someone smoking just outside the gate (the smoke flows directly into the outdoor area) Otherwise, this place serves its purpose and we typically have fun. There's no telling what you'll find!

Prepare to get dirty and bring a pair of thin garden gloves just incase! Everything is priced per pound and are in tall cardboard boxes mostly. It's definitely hit or miss and the employees are the same. I wouldn't bring kids if you can help it but definitely keep an eye on them if yah do. Happy Hunting!

I love this place it is where their outlet store is located but also the offices for the outreach they provide for the community this is where you would go to talk to someone about receiving assistance or if you wanted to make a donation to help further the assistance they provide

Ok so I found out about them via their fb "10$ cart sale" it was not at all what I was expecting. Its basically a huge indoor warehouse with a huge lot and everything has been randomly dumped into these huge plastic bins and boxes outside. Bring gloves!!!! Cart sale was insane. People rush to grab carts and then run to fill their carts. Best to come without children. Basically whatever fits in on or around your cart is yours. Be theres early (1hour early) as a huge line does form and the parking spot directly infront of the "store" quickly fills up. Would I do it again ? Ehh maybe

I find some real nice and good toys. I bring them ,clean them, wash and condition their hair, wash the clothes and fix anything that's with the clothes. My gr.grandgirl, Victoria really like me to go there. Some days I just look for doll clothes. You get a cart, that's already been wieghed. When you're done they weigh it again.

If you don't mind digging deep into the random of random items to find that one thing you never knew you needed this is the place to go. Prices for almost everything is by the lb and the more you buy the less it costs per lb. BRING GLOVES and probably best to leave the young ones at home as there is a lot of possible hazards for unmonitored fingers.

Extremely unorganized Factory Outlet store for the Youth Ranch/ Used Goods Store. Shoppers beware if your a first timer if your looking for something specific, because bins are everywhere and everything is extremely unorganized. But other then that, great place to get stuff super cheap and your only charged by the pound. Great place to go to avoid high prices and get alot of stuff.

If you want seriously great deals (and don't mind getting your hands dirty), come here. Things at ID Youth Ranch that don't sell in 30 days all end up here. So, there are expensive things that people didn't want to pay a lot for, as well as really crappy things (not much in between). Anyway, I have found tons of great deals all at 59-cents per pound! Come with a friend to take advantage of the 50-pound price break.

Huge Warehouse with 4 foot by 4 foot bins stuffed with everything imaginable. Not for the faint of heart. Most items sold by the pound. Everyone should stop here at least once to experience it. Youth Ranch is a huge business with multiple store locations in Idaho. Annual budget is in excess of 50 million! (Where does all the money go? Someone should look into this)
