Reviews of Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore
Looking for that elusive item to finish off your project? Maybe a lighting fixture, or need a replacement sink for a bathroom?
I have found the selection changes quickly. They have paint, doors, appliances and pieces, misc tools, windows, lighting, cabinets and counters, soo many items! As I said it changes quickly so the selection doesn't stay the same long.
Doing upgrades, and personal remodels and builds, on a tight budget they have become a go to place for me!
Staff tries to help but are not that friendly although I get it having to deal with so many people a day some of them are rude to staff so in the long run their doing a great job.
Lots of cool stuff for remodeling or upgrades and for lots less then retail stores. If you like to tinker this is the place.
When you donate to this place or make a purchase, you support of low-income families by buying a houses or helping them repair their houses .
Prices are up and product is down. The shelves were pretty bare compared to the past. Friendly staff and plenty of light fixtures. Unfortunately I was looking for plumbing parts.
Great place to look for inexpensive home improvement items
Great variety of stuff to choose from. Friendly, helpful employees.
Donated lighting fixtures that we no longer used. Great help getting stuff unloaded. Workers we saw had positive attitudes, making whole experience better.
They have useful used building materials, and the proceeds go to a good cause. Great place to donate to as well.
This is the 1st place I go when I need materials for a project. They have everything from building materials, fasteners, doors, light fixtures, windows, tools and on & on. They employees at both locations are always great even at the end of the day. The prices are a lot cheaper and I feel better knowing my purchase here goes to help others as well as keeping items out of our landfills.
Great building supply thrift store! You never know what you might find, and I have saved tons of money buying new and used supplies here.
You might be surprised at the amazing finds you can make there. I got a beautiful Hickory kitchen table, enough tile to redo a bathroom, and the endless odds and ends I always end up needing for projects.
Serves a good purpose. Helps me save money and avoid wasteful consumer habits. Staff have always been helpful and willing to work with me.
Amazing staff and excellent pricing! We found everything we needed at unbeatable prices! We will definitely be back!
Very neat store now because of Corby fixing it up for the store! Very nice employee! Glad hes on the crew now! Love the store itself and all it has to offer, good prices and good employees! 5 stars for sure!
I have volunteered at this Habitat for humanity to help out in my community. Its a store where there is used and new Construction items such as screws all the way up to doors to you name it that is needed for your project or job. All the maternal and or items that you will find in the store is donated or given to Habitat for Humanity. All the Proceeds go to help Humanity. The money then goes to help the needy pay for projects here in our Community. Prices are cheap compared to new prices that you would find elsewhere. Please just try this store, Im pretty sure you will love it knowing it's what you need plus more and knowing you are helping your community in need. God Bless You!
I always find something I need or want, even if it is not what I went in and was looking for. In my opinion the only thing that keeps this from being a five-star shopping location is the fact that everything is not already priced. I have always had very polite and pleasant employees to help me out.
Awesome place! Great customer service! They were very nice and helpful! Even loaded the truck for us! Love this place!
This is the one behind Walgreens it is not the thrift store on Overland this one that has a lot of building materials especially doors
Great place for big and small projects, awesome prices and good finds! My husband love people who work there, he is frequent customer, they are very friendly, like a family
I remodel houses for a living and all of the appliances light fixtures sinks toilets that I take out of all the houses I take to Habitat for Humanity yes I don't believe any of these things should ever hit the landfill and if I can give anybody a helping hand on something inexpensive but still good that can more than welcome to have it much rather see them have it than the landfill
Great parts a fraction of the price. Also some of the nicest people that work there and helpful
Very nice personnel. Easy donation drop off. Didn't have time to go into store, but plan to soon.
Prices are great, looks like a great place to get second hand building materials.
Can't say enough about this place. We got most of our bathroom and kitchen stuff there. Like new and the prices are outstanding.
Glad they are there. However they cleaned out and now is very disapointing to go in and see empty shelves. All the good stuff is gone. So sad.
Always a cool place to find treasures, or, not. But it is my first stop when I need building supplies or to just spend sometime looking around.
Lots of good finds here. I could spend hours looking around. The store on state is great too!

Often one can find really good stuff thats much much cheaper than if one bought it brand new from a hardware store.
The prices are reasonable. I've been able to find many useful items for remodeling.
It's a thrift store, so don't expect perfection, but for a thrift store it's got some good stuff. Especially clothing and glasses.
Great place to get stuff very reasonable and all the staff is very helpful
They have great prices and good products
Always good. Clean, compared to many I've been too. Good service, friendly staff.
Great place to get reusable building supplies, fixtures, and hardware at very low prices. Proceeds support Habitat for Humanity.

They used to be a reasonable place to buy. Pretty expensive now.
My son, Eric Bodreau, bought enough would at the store to build a custom desk.
It's like a thrift store for construction materials, plumbing and electrical fixtures, and other misc items.
