Lot's of items and all well priced. They set some discount based of the color of the price tag, this makes it easier when you are looking for deals on the already discounted price or when you are undecided checking of it is 3/$1.00 or 1/2off can make a big difference. I donate all my things here because I know they really care for the community no matter what level of buyer you are.

I definitely prefer the Palmer location but it was interesting to visit the Anchorage store. The majority of the store seems to be clothes but i was able to find a few great pieces to take home with me.

They have a great selection of clothing, books, household items, kitchen equipment, electronics, and more, but it is a little gross. Luckily the prices are good and the people who work there are nice. There were a few people there who seemed a bit sketchy so it wasn't very comfortable to shop, but I guess that is expected at a thrift store with such great prices. Go and shop and get great deals, but brace yourself for running into some strange or homeless people that will be shopping with you.

Inventory is often quite stale and the employees are meh. I enjoy the fair pricing of most items but I don’t make it an effort to stop by here often (given that there are better thrift stores in Anchorage).

They accept donations from 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, so 30 minutes before they close. I wish they had this written somewhere.

When I am told by a new thrift store about to open up on ingra st to come to your store etc etc you have my business and they will lose more than they thought possible . Thank you Bishop's attic for treating me with respect and for the great prices too.

Miss Anchorage

This has been my favorite thrift store in town for years. I am so stoked they now have a Facebook Page and they take credit card. It is worth noting this is NOT the place to show up 10 minutes before close, you will get the cold shoulder. But they have great prices, great people, and they offer a great service to the community.

Have been a regular customer at Bishop's Attic for years now. I find prices vary widely. I had donated a cool wooden book stand that I purchased from another thrift store in town for $7.00 & after a year decided I didn't have room for it at home. Bishop's Attic priced it at $35.00. I've bought a lot here, mostly books which are the lowest priced books in town with a solid selection much of the time. A couple of weeks ago while I was there a loud argument began near the check out area. I assumed the noisy arguers were customers. No. They were employees. A woman & a man. Very loud. Couldn't believe it.

Best thrift store in Anchorage. Very hit or miss but when it hits (1 in 5ish visits) it hits hard and you can find some cool things at actual thrift store prices. Staff is very nice as well.

Great place for a lot of things. Furniture, clothes, old electronics, and much more. Plus, you can't beat the prices. Most of the items here cost less than half of what other places in town would charge for it.

Like most places like this there's plenty of junk. However it's probably one of the best places to find that "diamond in the rough ". The best thing about it is that you will never pay much for anything. Unlike the majority of other so called thrift stores that have gotten totally ridiculous.

I found a cat wheel today! I had my eyes on the ones on the internet. They were $200, and thats not including shipping. I got it at Bishoos for $15! Amazing!

This is by far my favorite thrift store in Anchorage. Seem to have good variety, especially furniture. Except for tagged items though, no special sales.
