Clean and well organized. Security does check and also have X-ray/ metal detectors... Please or check to ensure you have all of your documents beforehand. Thus, you shouldn't even try boarding without it. Also, have them out as you are in line to avoid holding up everyone up. Lastly, have awesome and safe travels!!!

Easy port to get in and out of. Just wish bigger ships could leave from there. Very friendly staff and helpful. Paid $75 for 5 days (pre pay when you park car). A little pricier than the other lots, but we'll worth it. Well little with good security. Right across from the cruise port. No need for a shuttle. In and out of there very quickly.

We had been here before and it is one of our favorite ports to sail from. We arrived outside by 10:15am, checked in through the priority line by 10:25, had a seat and at 10:40 we were stepping on the Carnival Pride. Debarkation was just as easy and we were off the ship within 15minutes using the self carry luggage option. The only hiccup is someone was carrying too much luggage (they recommend only 2 pieces) and the escalator got jammed up and shut down. Carnival had it reset in about 3 minutes and everything went smoothly after that. Carnival staff at both embarkation and debarkation were excellent and helpful.

It was very easy to navigate, and all were happy to assist. Lots of parking is not too far with reasonable pricing. I would definitely take a cruise our of this location again. Let's not forget, Tampa beaches amazing too!

My very first cruise on Carnival, and the Paradise. I had a pretty good time on the boat. I am not a fan of being confined to a place for very long. The boat had a lot of things to do on the cruise days at sea. I enjoyed the comedy shows and the other activities. The food on the ship is okay, they try to accommodate all of the different options that people may need. The breakfast was the same everyday. Dinner in the main dining hall was pretty good. There was only one night that I did not enjoy the food. I did eat ice cream every day. Please be mindful of your bill and check it everyday to make sure that it is accurate. They automatically add on gratuity to your bill. It can be disputed at the customer desk.

It was as easy as one can hope for. Everyone on staff was courteous and helpful with smiles from all. I had the "Faster to the Fun" getting me on and off the ship without so much as a pause. Worth every bit. You are taken care of personally and I can't speak highly enough of Carnival and their entire staff. Thanks to all who helped make my vacation with Carnival a true experience!

This is a review for the carnival paradise. We had an issue with our room on the ship with some noise and smell. The crew was helpful and quick in service. The first show was really good but the 80ds pop show not as much. Food was good and the cruise overall was very enjoyable. Be prepared for a small pool and people not watching their kids. I would recommend going.

This was an exciting time for us and we will be going back love the place I suggest that everyone tried out if you haven't been on a cruise you should try one you will love it we live at a Tampa and went to Mahogany Bay And we went to Belize and Coszmel Mexico. That was the West and Caribbean's that we visited, it was my wife first time and my third time we'll definitely do it again.

Very aggressive porters lied about being able to carry your luggage on. You can take large bags through the security check points. I've done it before and saw others do it as well. There was a security guy harassing my Uber driver and demanding to see his phone to verify that we actually called. The security guy told me that he was a gypsy driver and to not enter the vehicle. This was a case of discrimination because I did call an Uber, he was my driver (checked the license plates), and he was Black with dreadlocks. I showed the security guy my phone and scolded him for being EXTREMELY unprofessional. During the ride, the driver told me that this security officer had called the police many times on him and that the officer was racist.

This was my first time experiencing a cruise. The terminal was huge but easy to navigate. There are many ways to use the port. You can drive up and off load your luggage and go park yourself, you can drop off luggage and have a valet park your car (for an increased price), or you can park your car yourself and walk your luggage over to the port. There are luggage handlers there, so make sure you come with some cash to tip the handlers. The checking in process is relatively quick and painless. Make sure to have i.d.ready ( like passport, drivers license and COVID info such as vaccine card or negative test results). There are workers all over the place to guide you where to go.

Very efficient and fast in getting you checked in and everything. I do recommend spend the extra on valet parking as it is that much more and they are fast getting you out of your car and bags checked and very fast and getting you out when you get back.

Do not understand the very long lines and long waits when there hundreds of workers at disposal, could be the efficiency is down? Verifly didn't even matter, what a waste of energy if verifly was not needed.

Expect alot of followers and thumbs up for this review. When booking through carnival transfer shuttles. From airport to pier there's no other deals. However, don't book the pier to hotel transfer through them. There are bus taxi's there that charge 10 dollars per person. Mind you carnival use the exact same people and bus taxi from pier to airport. 😉

Where to start. I am a big carnival fan for over 20 plus years. Family trip this time. Hands down to the staff on board. Great job to all of them from boarding. Or should I say embarkation to debarkation. They were spot on with customer service, sanitation, getting on and off the ship great process. I must say I did have some concerns. But they were pros at their jobs, the cooks, wait staff, housekeeping. Mask wearing was highly enforced.

They are definitely getting better. Streamlining the boarding process. It was almost enjoyable. We've been on several cruises from this port. This was the best experience thus far. We were aboard in less than 30 minutes from arriving at the curb. Food was ready and amazing. Cabin was ready. Luggage arrived within a couple hours. Stewart was personable and knew our names the first night when we returned from dinner.

Very efficient boarding every time we've been through. Only downside is a single elevator, which slows things down a lot if you have more than one suitcase per passenger. If when you're debarking there is a line entering customs i recommend using the porter service, as the couple dollar per bag tip will dramatically reduce your wait time.

Easy port to travel. Elevators are slow and DO not drop off people then park. Park first. It's ok to walk, you'll save time! Also, cool thing is usually they let you board early. I had 1:30 boarding time, got to board at 11:30 & it only took 40 minutes to get on boat from parking lot.

Ease of entry into port makes this departure and entry for cruises one of the smoothest. Logistically, this port is set up so there is minimal waiting as it is staffed adequately. Steady reminders from staff regarding safety when boarding and disembarking is helpful. It is great to see that the police make regular passes with dogs, through the passengers to weed out potential lawbreakers and any illegal contraband they may try to bring on board or back in to port.

Oh my gosh I absolutely love going on the Carnival ship. We went to Cozumel on a four-day trip. It was amazing. The port was very easy to get in and out of love. Parking was close by, and I gave my bag to the porters for a buck apiece. And I was no longer worried about my suitcases. We had an epic adventure on the Carnival.

Carnival Tampa Bay Port made it very easy to Embark and disembark from your cruise ship. The transitions were very smooth, the lines went very quick and all of their employees were extremely friendly and good at their jobs. I have never seen a group of 3,000 people able to cooperate so well together. That's all thanks to the workers doing their jobs so well and having such a good system.

Very fast embarking and debarking process here. We live locally so we to a lyft, our friends who we met at the port drove and and to park quite a ways out. Compared to Port Canaveral and Miami this was by far the least stressful. We went out on Carnival Paradise, if you haven’t gone on that ship I would suggest it. Good rates and even though it’s not a brand new ship it’s still pretty, lots of excitement and fantastic service!

It's a cruise terminal - met expectations. Staff was very helpful and a pleasure to interact with. Men's toilet at main level only accommodates 1 person and with the large crowds during embarkation one can face bit of a wait.

The whole experience was much like moving thru an airport! We waited the longest on the outside of the building, once inside we moved from place to place within minutes! Apparently you're allowed to board in the order of your boarding pass time. So eventhough it was our boarding time, all the earlier boarding, now late folks boarded first. This was a learning moment, but we were boarding the boat before we knew it! It was a great experience, we parked in a parking deck across the street so it wasn't too bad, we parked for 4 days for 60! The porters were super nice, they took our bags with no problem! We didn't have to give our bags to the porter, except if you didn't you'd have to keep up with your bag until you're allowed into your room which was nearly an hour later! There was a variety of food waiting for us which was nice! I did keep one bag with me, if I didn't have to wait until about six that evening I would've given it to the porter too.

Pro tip: there is a small parking lot right before you pull in that costs a lot less money and is fantastic. Was able to go from the parking lot, to being on the cruise ship in about 15 minutes. Super quick service, very safe area.

One of our new favorite ports to cruise out of now. Beautiful and so easy to get in and out of to the ship. It was a beautiful sunny morning. If it had been raining there was plenty of covered area to keep us dry. The Carnival onboarding crew were funny yet professional and got us onboard in record time. Love this port.

Arriving back to port could've gone a little better ... just a hair shy of perfect. We had a luggage issue & at first didn't see any porters & the lady sitting in the chair gave little instruction. Fortunately it wasn't long before we saw the guys who roll out the bags ... woo hoo ... well worth a few bucks to get it carted to the curb. Leaving on a cruise was organized and we were on the ship in a half hour of our arrival. Returning was more hectic, lines for passports, and really was disappointing when waiting for pick ups from hotels, cabs, and such. There were not obvious pick up points, kind of like a free for all.

First time to this place. Easy access to the terminal. Parking was across the street in the parking garage. only thing I did not like about was the terminal had only one elevator in the building. When we got off the ship it took us well over 30 minutes to get to the elevator. They need to fix this issue.

Liked the port over Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Maybe it was the ship I was on but there was not all of the mass of people checking-in that you normally get and the guy who took me on board via wheelchair genuinely seemed interested in me as a human being and not how quickly he could get rid of me. The staff in the terminal were very friendly and greeted us with well wishes for a cruise. My only criticisms were (1) that they had no wheelchairs downstairs and sent me upstairs via elevator only to find that there were quite a few wheelchairs upstairs at the place where the check-in process begins. They needed greater communication via walkie-talkie or something such between the guy downstairs who you go to for a wheelchair and the people upstairs where the wheelchairs are located; and (2) the could use signage or billboards on the roads to the port as to where the port is and signage or billboards once you enter the port as to where to find your ship. We almost drove past the roadway to our ship and a policeman directing traffic saved us from missing the road to the ship.

A bit like hearding cattle. Although most employees were very friendly. As a first time cruiser this was a bit confusing. Especially when were told to go sit in a certain area to wait, and no seats were available in that area. The people in the area were very hostile towards us and a few others who did not know where to go once all the seats were taken. I now realize it did not really matter if we were in our section , or one over, but not knowing that then was a bit of a rough start. Also the debarkation process could go smoother. I thought some elderly people near us might get trampled.

The parking was not great. Had choice of parking in garage a block away and then walking to the terminal which was $75 or having valet park your car for $95 which is what we did. $20 difference is worth it instead of walking a block away. When coming back from the cruise the terminal was set up very good to make it easy for all the people disembarking. I like Tampa Port because it's less congestive then the port at Cape Canaveral or Miami.

As a crew member on Carnival ships I find this place a very convenient starting point to go to some other areas of the city - for shopping, jogging, easy stroll by the ocean... Also, a convenient Crew Center nestled in the old Victory Ship makes package deliveries much easier (ny experience of fellow crew members, not yet my personal).

Whoot whoot! We take this trip on Carnival every year and we're never disappointed. Parking is easy enough with a shuttle back to the terminal. Check-in and embarkation were stress-free and Speedy. There's a reason why they call them the fun ships and the Tampa terminal is very easy to navigate.

I have no problem with Tampa Port...We are avid cruisers...we have sailed from a lot of ports...Some are better then others...but Tampa is fine...Friendly porters...friendly customer service...We do have priority boarding which is helpful.. We come prepared.....Passports...ID.....our health certificate is ALREADY filled out....Boarding passes inside passport..... PEOPLE......COME PREPARED....it will be a much smoother embarkation...and cruise.....Bon Voyage....

I used my GPS to find it so it was easy to find. They have a website and xxan pay prior to arriving. It was clean. I arrived in the morning when ships were exchanging passengers from one cruise to another so there were police officers to help if needed. There were alot of panhandlers in that area, but due to the police, i did not see them at the car park. There were lots of places to park, an elevator and stairs. Remember where you parked because there are 2 car parks. My car was not messed with for the duration.

My husband and I have cruised out of Port Canaveral , Miami and Fort Lauderdale and this was our 1st and possibly last time out of Tampa. Though the staff was very friendly and professional; their whole process, the wait times, the extremely long lines outside in the heat and the delays during our departure and return are the reasons why we won't be returning back to this port. The 3 stars are due to the efforts of some of the awesome staff we did encounter. I only wish I had their names to highlight them.

They need a better system..they elevator situation is horrible they make people wait like everyone in not just coming back from a long week on the oceanand want to get homeand to make us stand around like we are not trying to get home because they don't want you to take big bags on the escalator,so they force you to funnel thru the elevator..i just think tjis is not well planned out.

Wwe cruiser a lot! (Platinum members) this is by far the easiest compared to port Canaveral or Miami. Your not bombarded by port handlers and the staff seems to be on point
