This shuttle was awesome . I went last week 3/19/23 . I've been hearing about it for a few weeks now from my girlfriends coworkers.I really didn't want to use my poor lil compact car on those roads and risk a crash . I really liked you could just sleep and relax on the way up. It almost felt like the time went away and you were there super fast from sleeping etc . I made that trip to Flagg several times in the summer in my car . It always felt super long and boring . Makes a huge difference when your zonked out for half of it . Hahaha anyways whole experience was great . Use the maps from online though for the parking . I've heard from different people on the bus it was really hard to find where to park for the bus. My only complaint is I wish they went to Sunrise other than that . This is a win win all the way around. ❄️🤙😂😎

Riding the shuttle was so easy, pleasant, and stress free. I highly recommend it for folks making a day trip. You can rest on the way there and back and not worry about driving. The shuttle was clean and on time. Very well run and efficient. Ken was the best captain!! I’ll definitely be using the shuttle again.

The Alpine Express was great! It is super convenient and easy, and made for a great day trip on the slopes. Although you can drive yourself, this is so easy and seamless! After a long day I was so thrilled to sit back and relax and be able to close my eyes. The crew working was kind and helpful. It's a huge perk to have the lift ticket included and skip the line upon arrival. I also really appreciated the negotiated discount for a rental from SkiPro and having that already set before arriving at Snow Bowl. Will definitely be back!

Have done this twice and will continue. Cant beat the price for lift ticket and round trip shuttle. I would recommend this if you don't feel like driving several hours each way.

My son and I took Alpine Express on Friday. The Alpine team was was very friendly and helpful. Captain Roland did a great job . At the end of a long day Captain Mark was super helpful.He helped get my tired son's ski boots off and put on his snowboots. My son enjoyed his trip so much he asked once we arrived in the parking lot that he wanted to go again.Thank you alpine team for making our first experience with Alipine Express a success.

2nd trip with the team was great. On-time, super easy and a great way to get a day on the slopes 1st trip and nothing but impressed. Great way to get a day of skiing in from Phoenix. Crew were all great, friendly and excellent communicators. I plan on more trips before end of season.

Taking Alpine Express was so much better than driving by myself from Phoenix, and gas would have cost about the same as the fare! The captain and driver were friendly and professional, bus was clean, and it was a great chance to meet other people while relaxing and riding to a new resort. Bring noise cancelling headphones if you plan to sleep on the ride back. (The return ride movie was too loud for regular headphones to block out. ) I’ll definitely be using Alex again if I’m in the area during ski season! Thanks so much for making my trip easy!

My son (4 years old) and I went up for a ski day and we had a great experience! The captains, including Chris, were so accommodating of us being the only young family on the bus. My son was able to sleep on the way up and enjoyed a movie and cookie on the way back. I appreciated having the bathroom on the bus and being able to get back on the bus in the earlier afternoon when my son was done with skiing (a couple hour before everyone else). We were also able to access our stuff in the bottom of the bus at all times which was helpful. My only recommendation for young families would be to make sure to dress warm or bring a blanket on the bus because it can be a little chilly. I am sure that is on purpose for those dressed and ready to ski as soon as we get off the bus. We look forward to our next trip on the Alpine Express! - Roxy K.

I was honestly dreading waking up at 4am to get to a 445am bus, but it actually went really well. The bus seats are really comfortable and they do recline some. They also keep the bus dark on the way up so you can sleep (if you're able). They provide water and gave us cookies. On the way home we watched a movie which made the drive back much less awful (you're so tired by then!). Everyone was really nice and you can bring your own snacks and stuff and keep your things on the bus. I would do this again.

I thought this service was great! I do day trips from Tempe up to Snowbowl frequently, and its rough driving 5-6 hours and snowboarding for 6-7 hours. I drove myself on the previous weekend for a day trip and I spent about $70 in gas, hit the mountain tired already, and dreaded the drive home. This cost about 40% less, I slept on the way up, hit the slopes rested and ready, had an amazing full day of snowboarding, and then napped on the way home. Good stuff! I would recommend. Also, if you haven't dealt with Snowbowl parking before you really need to leave the valley in time to be turning on to Snowbowl road by 7:30 AM (at least) in order to guarantee you are not parking at the bottom. That works out to waking up at 4AM for me. These guys have a guaranteed parking spot just across from Hart Prairie Lodge!

I really like the fact you can bring all your bags and gear and leave your stuff on the bus and access throughout the day. Best value on the planet. This is my third trip on alpine Express. I will never drive myself up to the Snowbowl again. The trip is so fast. There is no stopping for gas, no trips through a drive-through, etc. It’s perfect and just so easy. If you buy your lift ticket through them, it may (probably WILL) be cheaper than buying online through the Snowbowl itself, so make sure you check your prices. I cannot say enough about this experience! Awesome! Consider bringing a few extra dollars to tip the driver and captain!

It’s such a great deal #1, and I love not worrying about driving or traffic. The bus serves as your locker during the day and is parked so close you don’t have to lug everything from the lower park lots. Andy was a great captain!!! Our driver was AMAZING!!! I had a great experience. The bus leaves on time to get there when it opens and leaves right after close. There’s no way you could get more runs with any other shuttle service. The bus is very comfortable, has a bathroom on it. I mean it is so much more comfortable then riding in a car (especially if you’re driving). I know if I ride on a mountain all day, driving 2+ hours back home is not enjoyable. So the ride home is beautiful. They provided water and a candy bar to everyone so it was really nice. The staff is very friendly and considerate. They made sure each individual had what they needed to enjoy the day. Getting up that early was a little rough on me, especially with the elevation. I got tired about 1/4 ways into the day (pathetic I know), but I was able to take a small nap on the bus to recharge and really have a great trip the rest of my time. I’m so glad that a service like this is out there and to top it off they are kind, fast, and efficient. I would recommend to anyone that wants to go to the mountain.

Great trip. Last day of the season at Snowbowl. Taking the Alpine Express was far superior to driving: much more relaxing and, at current gas prices, cheaper as well. The last-day-of-the-season was a blast and the group very friendly There are some excellent skiers in the group (from Phoenix- who would have thought), even when skiing naked. The driver and trip captain were capable and Adam made sure that everyone was comfortable and tuned in to the activities planned for the day. The Express will be my preferred means of travel to Snowbowl and I'll be looking at the other trips next season, especially the trip to Chile (and Coronet Peak as well JJ?).

I used Alpine Express' services for the very first time yesterday and I was shocked by how much I loved it!! I bought my lift ticket through them as well. First I would like to acknowledge the trip leader Chris for being amazing! A very friendly guy who actually cares if passengers are enjoying themselves. Also, the bus driver Shawn was a rockstar for getting us to and from safely. Make sure to bring cash to tip the drivers! The bus was clean and cozy. They let you bring pillows and blankets and you are able to leave things on the bus as you ski. The bus does become inaccessible to passengers for about 2 hours during the day (10-1ish) so the driver can rest but that was fine with me!! We arrived to snowbowl before it even opened and we were able to get on the last lift at 4 because the bus departs at 4:15 so that is super cool!! If you buy your lift ticket through them they get it for you so you don't have to wait in any lines. Will definitely be using this service again!!

I had a wonderful experience. My best friend got me a ticket to go for the first time, very happy he did. It was quite affordable, I believe it was 65$ for a lift ticket AND the bus ride(coach bus too). They call the person overseeing our trip up "the captain", woman who was overseeing our trip ("Captain" Caitlin) was very kind, accommodating, and professional. The mountain was great. Fresh grilled burgers and a beer. The trails weren't bad this late in the season. I highly recommend the alpine express and captain Caitlin for your trip up to snow bowl.

We got in a good day of skiing and didn't need to personally drive the two hours up and back! Of course it's still 4+ hours of travel in a bus (a good coach) and I'm a big guy so there was some unavoidable "seat fatigue". Thanks for a great trip and I got to enjoy 6174m of vertical Sunday (at least Ski Tracks says so)!

Our kids love this service! It's super easy and convenient for pickup, we know they are safe on the bus, and they love the flexibility of being able to go if we can't make it up with them. They tell us the bus is comfy, has all the amenities and they can sleep on the way up and down when they've snowboarded all day. Repeat customers for sure!

Well worth the money, me and my roommate weren’t wanting to have to get up early and drive there and back. We found this cheap alternative that if you order on the right day (early enough in advance) the lift ticket+ride combo actually ends up being cheaper than just purchasing a lift ticket off the snow bowl website! Our first time using Alpine Express we bought the lift ticket+ride combo the night before we left and it was still cheaper than buying a lift ticket solely at the mountain, so very worth the money. All the people that run it are very nice. You get a movie+candy+water on the drive back which is a perfect way to end the day after shredding!

It's a nice comfy busy with a great staff and the bus and lift ticket combo was cheaper than buying a lift ticket on the snowbowl website. I highly recommend riding Alex, sleeping/relaxing on the ride up and get there charged and ready for an awesome day on the mountain.

Normally ski with my wife, but she recently broke her leg, and I was reluctant to drive the 5+ hours up and back by myself. Found Alpine Express online and was easily able to navigate the process of securing a seat. The day went exactly per their itinerary. I boarded at the north stop at 6:00AM. I was greeting by our friendly captain – Andy. He passed out water & cookies, answered all questions and made sure that everyone was set to go. The ride up was nice, especially since it was a newer bus with only 5000 miles. The other passengers were friendly but kept mostly to themselves or their small groups. Some passengers shared the double wide seats. I was lucky and had the double wide seat to myself. Most passengers slept part of the way up. After arriving at Snowbowl, the interior of the bus was open for an hour or so for everyone to get organized to hit the slopes. Towards the end of the day, the interior of the bus opened again to get on board. We always had access to the compartment underneath for food and other items. The bus departed right at 4:15AM for the Valley. The trip was again uneventful and the other passengers friendly and respectful. We arrived at the drop off point on schedule. Cost was a little more than $40, which is far less than I would have paid for just gas. If ever going solo for a day of skiing will use Alpine Express.

Great way to travel safely to Snowbowl destination. The Alpine Express crew provides a friendly service with utmost safety in mind and health conscious. Just get some rest on the bus on the way there, ride all day and recoup on the bus on the way back to Phx....all at a great price. I find this option works best for me and fellow riders. Definitely we had a very good experience with the Alpine Express team and will travel with them again.

I like Alpine Express. It's convenient and good value for money. The trip captain is always very helpful. It's early departure, but you can sleep in the bus. There is toilet on the bus. This is very good when you have a child with you.

Who feels like driving back from Flag to Phoenix after a day of snowboarding or skiing? No way!! Take the Alpine Express! Sleep on the bus going up and back or watch one of Andy's favorite movies including Princess Bride or Pitch Perfect. THe price is seriously a giveaway. For less the retail of a lift ticket you get transportation to and from Phoenix to Snowbowl, a lift ticket, and guaranteed access during COVID. Plus everyone on the bus was very friendly and social. Will be back.
