Reviews of Newark - Pennsylvania Station
John Tucker
Nice old building from the 1940s...hub for Amtrak, subway, and Greyhound bus. As public train stations go, it was clean and efficient. 4 stars only because it was hot, air conditioning was not working well, if at all. Elevators to each track in addition to stairs and for some, escalators. Has a Dunkin and a Starbucks (but Sbucks was closed on the Sunday I was there). Also has 2 news/snack/drink stores, a shoe repair, and some other. Lots of transit police there...I saw no homeless people and it was a very busy time with lots of trains.
Paul Yang
Nothing much around here while waiting for train. Only place to sit and have a meal is Macdonalds. Else just hang around the waiting area but beware of the smell due to the number of homeless.
Decent toilets and good security as I see quite a number of cops.
Adati Tarfa
The directions are clear and the services are timely. The environment can be more sanitary.
Saeed Abdallah
Major rail station in Newark New Jersey, a stop away from Newark Airport. Not too crowded many times and restrooms onsite
Kari C
If it's your first read your Train number and find it on the panel, where you will know your track. Also arrive at 45 min

What can I say: its good ol' Newark Penn. Not much has changed this place and similar to NY Penn, you get a melting pot of everything. It's sad that more is not done about the homeless situation at the station, but overall I never have any issues going here for train service into the city or catching the light rail. Lastly, you can catch the PATH to WTC.

Getting better! Still dont understand why we still have old trains from the 70s. Go to Europe and they have state of the art super high speed trains. Sad part is seeing all the trash along the tracks too. Really wish America would do a better job at keeping our country clean. Overall it's great to have public transportation like this.
Rob Homa
It's a big old station that connects the PATH, regional NJT rail service, Amtrak, local Newark busses, the Newark subway, and Greyhound in Newark. Over the years I've asked questions on how to get to various places at the NJT information booth and received good advice and schedules.
Fairly close to the Prudential Center, you can walk through Gateway and you'll be two short blocks south of the Arena. A lot of times I'll walk up Raymond to Rutgers-Newark and the main complaint is getting across McCarter, an 8 lane highway that cuts through the city.
There's a Dunkin, McDonalds, and other places to buy food here. No fine fining experiences but something to tide you over.
There's lots of homeless in the station but I wouldn't say they're aggressive.
I've used this place hundreds of times without incident. Sometimes it does appear that detours aren't well marked (such as when the PATH runs on platform H).

The station is a bit run down but is kept clean and secure by a strong team for the thousands who make their regular commute on the PATH trains to NY as well as all the Amtrak and NJ Transit trains that pass through this station. Finding my way around was easy. There is some food available in the station and a couple of other small businesses. There are large numbers of Police controlling the precinct. The lift bridge at the NY end of the station is quite fascinating.
Dallas Plummer
This station is accessible with elevators and escalators and with bathrooms and a seating area for ticketed passengers and a mini bus terminal. Pick up and drop off of passengers is chaotic during rush hour. Security in the station sucks but you can bring your bike onto select Amtrak trains here.
Samia Muhammad
One of the best and clean stations 🚉 I saw in the USA. It has all stores, coffee, bakery shop, flowers 💐. I highly recommend this station …
Lita Goldsboro
Hats off to the cleanliness of your Ladies room and to your staff in the inside and outside of the station that assist in pointing us in the right direction! :0)
Laxminarayan Kulkarni (Lax Kulkarni)
There are days when it can get very overwhelming. But while things are smooth, it works well. Connects PATH, NJ transit Amtrak. Lot happens during peak hours.
Kenneth McWeeney
Newark Penn Station is being renovated, but it still retainers it's charm.
Nakita Blacc
They have clean up in the station TREMENDOUSLY however there is still room for improvement. I often choose NOT to Travel FROM or TO this station based on the conditions around the station and the public transportation conditions. However my route from SOUTH ORANGE NJT station to get to work for a Graveyard shift was rerouted due to local public transportation lack of availability. THERE ARE 3 DIFFERENT COMPANIES OPERATING TRAINS FROM NEWARK PENN. I learned this last night AUG 2 2022 simply trying to get work. I was OUT OF UNIFORM IN CIVILIAN CLOTHING. I read the teleprompter which informed me that there was a train arriving shortly on track 2 going to Penn Station. I purchased a ticket from the ticket machine awaited and when the train pulled in is when I NOTICED that it was an AMTRAK train. I watched a passenger get on who was in their occupation uniform I went behind him and was STOPPED I was told NO cause I had the wrong ticket with NO FURTHER instructions I EXPLAINED I WAS TRAVELING to work however I was still DENIED the COURTESY of traveling. Seeing the uniformed guard board precisely before me WITHOUT being questioned was DISTURBING. I felt DISCRIMINATED against. I afterwards went to AMTRAK OFFICE TO ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE A TICKET SINCE ANOTHER TRAIN WAS 5 MINS BEHIND IT AND THE OTHER TWO TRAIN COMPANIES TRAINS WERE RANGING FROM 25MINS. TO 35MINS GOING INTO NYC. AMTRAK Ticket COUNTER CLOSED. It was after 11pm. I figured if I showed my SECURITY BADGE the HUMAN BEING in THE CONDUCTOR. Uniform on the SUBSEQUENT train into NYC which is ONE QUICK STOP FROM PENN STATION would EMPATHIZE and extend the COURTESY. Again DENIAL without a 30 sec Explanation. I would of responded differently. I would of consider the fact of the TICKET COUNTER BEING CLOSED.I Would EMPATHIZED for the traveler IGNORANCE due to the fact that there are TICKET MACHINES right on the EXACT platform as the train ITSELF which can easily be confusing for those machines to only sell tickets for ONE train company. Where are AMTRAK ticket machines in Newark Penn Station? Why can't TICKETS be Purchased ONLINE according to the CONDUCTOR of the last train before 12am this day Aug 3 2022 on the Amtrak train going toNYC from Newark Penn???? FIX THIS . PUT SOME TICKET MACHINES IN PENN STATION IN NEWARK. HIRE CONDUCTORS WHO MAKE YOUR BRAND LOOK GOOD. I should get the same RESPECT if I am in uniform or Out of uniform because I an COMMUNICATING CLEARLY POLITELY AND CONCISELY ALWAYS.

The station is ok, but they need to train their staff better in giving directions, especially to those who come from New York and travel there for the first time to connect to the light train.
In my opinion, better signs are necessary, that lead the rider effectively from the NYC train, through the station, to the other station where you make the connection to the light train.
Nich
Beautiful station, lovely people and be careful with person go to asking for money.
Harshad Pandit
Historic station with a renovated waiting area. Despite NJTransits/Amtraks best efforts, the authorities need to do quite a bit to improve the homeless situation. Parts of the waiting area at the platform level stink of urine. One can get NJ transit, Amtrak and PATH trains at the station as well as a starting point for several NJ transit buses. Also a half for Greyhound buses. Few food options but nothing exciting. Car/taxi/ride hailing pick up/drop off area available on the Raymond Blvd side.
Timothy Delling
The station itself was what you'd expect, homeless folks making people uncomfortable and cops doing their best to mitigate that. However, the real stars here are the people at the ticket windows!! I received the most amazing customer service. Michael Currington and Brenda Walker at Amtrak fought for me when I was looking to get a refund that Amtrak did not want to give. It's a long story but Amtrak screwed up and did not want to admit it however, Michael fought for an hour with the corporate office and took personal care of me and the situation. I was absolutely blown away and if anyone reads this, make the effort to stop by and tell him he is amazing, because we need to protect and lift the rare people up who actually care.
Roumany D
Newark Pennsylvania is important station.
Kay Pepper
Its get three stars because its a transportation hub, other than that, I prefer not to take pictures, because its not a pretty place.
Lots of homeless people, which am surprised the city hasn't really done nothing to help them. It smells in many spots and fairly dirty at times. Last time I used this place was waiting for the train to go to the airport. It was late and wasn't worth when you need to also pay to ride the airport train. Save your time if you leave from the stations to the airport and just take a Lyft or Uber, because it comes out the same price.
The path is useful though, going back and forth to the city and its a clean train. I think am just picky, but overall the station does the job to get you from point A to B.
Chris White
Helpful staff. Very convenient with people coming from different cities and towns. 😎☮️🏙️ …
Nard Bonner
Technology has kept it up but it still is the iconic Newark Penn Station.
Richard Nieves
I, only use it to travel to & from NYC or heading home from work and when doing business as of bus cards & train tickets to the city.
The AfterHours Spot
Too many homeless people randomly asking for money
Daniel Spector
Even with a strong police scary at night for single woman
Mary Phillips Blackshear
It's an old building that is well kept. It is the northern start by bus, train, and Amtrak. There are reasonable travel buses. Yet you are not having the human aid as before even though it is virus ready. I enjoy just sitting on Broad Street and Market Street. It was the only City in New Jersey with flags at half mast to honor the victim of c. virus 19. The people are kind and friendly. There like any city a lot of stuff to buy on the street and off. Next trip I will find the food market. Masks seems to be only used by mostly to enter stores or riding buses. Good trip.
Tina Tierney
First time there. A beautiful main waiting room with plenty of seats. We went to cherry Brook park from here on the light rail
Michael Angelo Bosch
Newark is an up & coming trendy artsy type place quickly moving up in fancy high rises and nice parks and I live here in Newark and I see lots of progress for Newark,we just need lots more residents to take pride in their town and community and chip in any and every way they can.
Love your city 💘
Love your block 💘
Love yourself 💘
Chas Schlam
A lovely building with great history, as pointed out this morning on NPR! Who knew that German spies tried to sabotage it during WWII. And that a herd of cows had to be run up the stairs so they could make their train! I use the station all the time, cant wait til next time to keep an eye on some of the details I just learned about
AreaSurveyorK
Thank goodness for all the police officers who patrol this station. It would be completely unsafe otherwise. The homeless and beggars at times out number passengers in waiting areas by a large margin. Don't linger. Don't sit down to eat unless you are okay with 5 people asking you for some of your food or money. Get in and out of this place. Very scary people here. Convenient location to catch Amtrak.
Yolanda Compton-Hamilton
I love seeing the hustle and bustle of people going and coming.
Nigel Sylvester
The homeless has taken over and the cops are no where in sight. I found one and asked said someone patrols Neve saw them come by
Daniel Horner
This station is architecturally beautiful, and is so much more pleasant than NY Penn. There's a bar and a place to get train beer. The station could use a bit of care to bring back to its former glory, but I had no complaints commuting through it when I did.
At night, it can look a bit unsafe, but there are usually plenty of police nearby.
Nelson Quintanilla
Great shopping, good bathrooms. The only problem I've had is that there are buses that do not stop at Newark Penn. I have to walk 7 or 8 blocks to get the 59 to Elizabeth. Other than that I love the culture and the drama.
Momma Nora A Google User
I was pretty at night. Crowded coming to this station. When it isn't crowded the train representative will punch the tickets. The statue of liberty can be seen out the window while the train is moving. Staff does help. The trains aren't wheelchair accessible. Fellow riders help in the absence of staff. Tickets are paper not electronic or digital.
Dayanne Santiago
We had a great experience today with a worker on Track one this morning. He went out of his way to help us. Mr.Stanly was helpful and made our trip more enjoyable because he answered our question and helped us. Bathrooms of course are a problem. Dirty but not unusable.
Eric.S Viteri.S
Great station but could be better
Yogendra Bhardwaj
Thank goodness for all the police officers who patrol this station.
It would be completely unsafe otherwise. The homeless roaming in waiting area and asking for money,
Very scary people here.
Convenient location to catch Amtrak.
Cardell Graham
It's ok I have been taking the train to new York for 30 years the last few years has been a little bad a lot of homeless people
Solmarie Diaz
This station connects you to everywhere and trains pass every few minutes. It's a great station in the sense that it's convenient and quick to connect with other stations. It does have homeless people hanging around and you may see disturbing things.
Starr Bueno
It's a beautiful is stored building but I read all the other comments. This place smells like really bad rotten food/bodies and homeless people don't help with smells and it just making the place look so dirty and unsafe. It needs a good clean up.
cathyman 1
The urination and defecation are rampart in the staircases and remote waiting areas. Homeless population is high and there is only so much the transit police can do. The panhandlers are agressive but bark back and they will shrink. Generally, a lot of working class riders and are very polite and cordial.
Victoria C
Elevators always smell like pee or anomia/bleach combo. Our kids and elderly are breathing that in. It's insane. They also shut down the elevators after a certain time. I was on my way home late with my two twin infants and was stuck on the platform H for a good amout of time. I had to bring each baby down different levels and staircases then run bring stoller down. Its insane and unsafe. Other then that its gets you where you need to go and thats always a plus.
Homayoun Saleh
Very efficient train station -- I had to make a connection here between NJ Transit and Amtrak and everything was very well labelled with easy directions to navigate. The station was clean and felt safe with plenty of police officers around to ensure public safety.
Nicholas Miles
yikes!!! it’s a little bit dicey!
Tammy
Been thru twice with a third trip coming this fall. It is crowded and for a single female traveling alone on my return trip since I usually have a wait the amount of homeless and panhandlers on the platform makes me uneasy. The waiting area on the platform does have a smell and it's also not easy to figure out which platform is needed or even how to get outside to find a cab or Uber.
Taranga Dehury
Great for going New York from Newark side using PATH trains.
Patricia Asemota
The Newark Penn station is located at the Raymond Boulevard and houses the coach USA bus service, the Grey hound bus services, taxi services as well as the train services-NJ transit and PATH. The complex has the McDonalds, NJ florist shop, food courts. They have wheelchair accessible entrance, waiting areas and bathrooms. The waiting areas have outlets to charge your devices. The bathroom is always clean as the staff are always on ground to clean up and mess made.
G Galloway
Very convenient station. Tons of connecting routes. Downside is the homeless people everywhere you turn. It smells horrible. Like seriously NJ Transit & Amtrak need to do something.
Max Aronow
Convenient place to transfer from the PATH to the NJ Transit.
Drummermom
It's not real difficult to navigate as far as finding your train goes. There aren't a lot good options. There's a McDonald's and a Dunkin Donuts in the terminal. Easy to board and unboard the train.
Joe Carr
IMO it is a very important train station. You connect here to many destinations. While you wait here you may get a cup of coffee a danish the newspaper, etc.
Megan Cushing
Convenient, but it's a bit of a maze if you're not local! Staff is almost always friendly and helpful. Could use more seating in areas where you'd be waiting for your train, especially when you're waiting for a late night train.
Chevoniece Charles
Cant say to much bad stuff cause of how frequently im actually here after hours. But. The mantinence has to much power. They lock the bathroom during hours to clean a sometimes clean bathroom. The mantinence actively discriminates againce the less fortunate.
Robert Bogle
easy to catch a Uber / Lyft from Main Entrance
Drew Rowley 973
This train station is far from great and that’s a understatement it’s dirty and a little drab but not as bad as NY Penn Station the station is far easier to navigate then NY Penn Station they have several tracks for Amtrak NJ Transit And Path it has a lot of homeless people but the good thing about this station is that the railroad is not decayed and when a train gets delayed it doesn’t cause chaos
The Flagged YouTuber II
So I waited for train 170, and I swear to you about the 7 trains past me before it came it was supposed to come at 7:57, but it came at 8:30 now I know that's 30 minutes in your mind but it felt like centuries in the cold at least, when it came to my body.
hwileyiii
Another dirty railroad station is the first impression you get when entering this station. It is also not a station easy to navigate, particularly for those with disabilities. Add to that, most trains entering and leaving the station allow about a minute for the exchange of passengers. This is a particular challenge for handicapped passengers and I am most familiar with Amtrak.
The outside is loaded with panhandlers and homeless. The station itself is a beautiful old Pennsylvania Railroad Station that offers a look at classic railroading
Ariadna Valdez
I really like it I dont mind the homeless people we there to help each other we are no one to be judging them some people loose their houses and some people loos their jobs and it can happen to any one who will judge them any way is really good to wait but the bathrooms is who ever is the owner of the station to clean it the the homeless people like they say so please if you live comments stop judging them and help thanks
Alexander Tsui (徐嘉豪)
Newark Penn Station minimally satisfies its purpose with bringing passengers to where they need to go. However, like most major junction stations serving many major lines, it is important that useful information providers are available for the travelers who are less experienced than people like myself.
In addition. the station must be cleaner in a few different ways. The smells throughout the terminal are usually neutral or unpleasant, especially through the bus lanes. Disturbing sights of homeless or displaced persons are often too commonplace in this station - they must not rest here as travelers need a safe facility to travel without having strange, smelly persons lying sloppily on the floors or seating areas. There are other spots in the City of Newark for that.
Rochelle BORELLO
Very very hectic place you definitely need to arrive early to figure out where your bosses and it needs to be cleaned especially bathrooms I will not use bathrooms there at all. But other than that I have used that location to leave from and come back to and I still continue to use it I just stand outside and wait for my bus.
Robert Ross
Wawa has always been a favorite stop of mine whether it's to play scratch scratch offs their machine or they get help everything is at a good price. That employee are friendly and are willing to help you at any given moment hellshire to the Wawa store are going to be satisfied
Sarah Mucerino
Picking up a friend was a complete nightmare!! "Parking" for cabs and Uber and limoz and Lyft drivers available but almost impossible to find spot for us 'normal' drivers. Drove around for a few minutes while waiting until a spot opened (yay luuucky). BUT... Approached by transit authority screaming "you can't park here!!! No parking g zone!!! You gotta move." Uh, what? Someone just parked here for ten minutes, but WE can't? Maybe a black man with a white girl was unsatisfactory to her. Thank goodness my friend was walking to the car. As the argument got heated (locked ourselves in and shut the windows) we just began to ignore her. Our passenger jumped in the car and we pulled off. Best thing was, she was trying to write out a citation. At the red light I turned around And realized she was chasing us! Ticket book in hand and all. 😂🤣😆😝💩✌️ Hysterical, just as she got close enough to see our plate #, light turned green and we turned the corner, ruined her 1/2 a**ed attempt at ruining our day hahahaha. Sorry but nice try lady.
Traci Bahr
Very easy to move in and out of the station and very clean...
Andrew Karlovich
Trains typically run right on schedule but the entire station is dirty, smells like urine, and usually crowded, especially during the morning and evening work commutes. Very useful station to get around pretty much anywhere in NJ, NYC, or the AMRTAK line for long distance east coast traveling.
Sandeep Reddy
Decent place. But a lot of traffic around the area. Something needs to be done about the passenger pick up road and bus lanes there. Plan at least 10 minutes additional to your travel timings if you are traveling by car or bus.
Devanshi Shastri
Place is generally crowded but well maintain and clean mostly. There is not much place to seat. Seating is only allowed for customers who has valid ticket and only for two hours.
Stephen Loeb
Train station. Convenient for Amtrak points (DC, Baltimore, Philly) Buses, trains and PATH. Major station on NJ Transit and terminal point for PATH. Accessible to Newark Airport and New Jersey seaports in Newark, Elizabeth and Bayonne. In the heart of Newark metrotech redevelopment. Walking distance to the Prudential Arena - home of concerts and New Jersey Devils. It won't get awards for ambiance or amenities. Parking is limited and more expensive than neighboring communities but as a transit hub it is practical and accessible.
Rick Giresi
It's in Newark so take this rating with that in mind. It feels generally safer then it did though. They now actually enforce the seating section only for people with train tickets. Before there was just a sign. The places to grab a snack are starting to improve although still not amazing. At the end of the day if you live in north jerz and need to take a train nwk penn is probably your best option instead of heading into the city to catch the same train.
Janice Feldman
Station is old shows its age. Platforms are dark & dirty. Need better lighting. Not easy to find info on trains only one info. Booth for nj transit, hard to find. Only sign boards with info on tracks and only gives u current train arriving.
Khalil Dixon
The bus and train schedules are accurate. The customer service comes inn handy. The food court/ restaurants have some of the tastiest selections.
Suzie Townsend
It’s a train station. You’re probably not expecting much. There is some seating if you need to wait for your train but it’s not very comfortable. The bathrooms are pretty gross and the train station is always crowded sometimes with people asking for money. When there’s some kind of problem with the trains schedule adjustments are not that well organized.
E.V. Katehis
This review is only for the outstanding people who clean the elevators after all those morons piss in it. You do a fabulous job and probably don't get paid enough, but that cleaner you use is amazing.
K Tower
Newark Penn Station is the largest transit hub in Newark.
The station is a functional transit hub with many connections. But it is not pleasant.
** Trains: Amtrak & NJ Transit
** Lightrail: PATH & Newark lightrail (subway)
** Buses: NJ Transit, Bolt & Greyhound
* A very large number of people, trains, and buses pass through every day.
* It is slowly crumbling and looks like it may collapse any day.
* It has a secondary role as homeless shelter (particularly in the winter). Most of the beautiful old waiting room is given over to the homeless. The homeless will often ask for money.
- Note that there is another (much smaller) train station in Newark (Broad Street).
- Note that Newark Airport train station is about 3 miles south).
Anthony Bsales
I recently traveled Amtrak for a business trip. I had unfurtunate luck and my suit jacket fell off my bag and down below the deck in between the train and platform as I was boarding the train. I assumed that it lost and or would be damaged. I gave it a shot and called Newark Penn. They actually retrieved my jacket within 30 minutes and held it for me until i returned from my trip. No damage at all! It made my day.
Matthew H
Great experience, first time I've been there it was amazing
Paul Felts
Like many other bus/train stations there are many homeless people here so no need to go into details on that. I will say you can get anywhere from here if your willing to take a few minutes to figure things out.
Adventure Guy
It’s an ok station. If you’re just a regular commuter you’ll get to where you’re going relatively quickly and easily. The staff is pretty rude and the place isn’t clean or new by any stretch.
John H
This is a train station where you can get trains to places all over New Jersey, and trains that go to Penn Station in New York and this is where you can get a PATH train to the World Trade Center. This is also a stop for several bus routes and the Newark Light rail. This is a pretty run-down place. It has a pizza place, a McDonald's a Dunkin Donuts, a couple of newsstands, liquor store. It is on the edge of the Ironbound district with its good restaurants, blocks from the prudential center and downtown Newark
Ravindra Vangipuram
This is probably largest train station in New Jersey. It connects PATH, NJ Transit and Amtrak trains. It is very dirty and needs lot of improvement. You see lot of homeless people.
Danny Boards
Historical and Grand a beautiful work of art
Anwar Rasheed
ok station lots of homeless and mentally ill persons but hey, what are you gonna do. Very busy hub and very convenient. Place runs like a well oiled machine.
Dencil Smith
Very big station. Can get lost if it is your first time there although there are plenty of signs. Many places to go eat and grab a seat if you are waiting for your next train.
tony hutch
*often catch train there(years.decades.since the80's,loc)&as is the saying"the more things change-the more they stay the same".it's easy2breeze through the scene&miss the picture,with relative ease.often immersed in the details of day2day work&or-nightly play.mental note:try2pause2offer a beverage&or food to those in need,as seeing them there@this station-is a reminder of our(respective)station(s)in life.kinda like the joint by curtis mayfield(just be thankful)indeed*
Ac Thornton
Serves its purpose to get you where you're going. If you are taking the PATH or the train to NYC I suggest you wait downstairs. Track #no. 1 is where the homeless. sleep and hang out undesturbed.
Nikki Yuskowski
This review is exclusively for Joi who works at the bus terminal. After my flight was cancelled, she assisted me in getting a bus back to my hometown. She was my personal hero that afternoon and deserves the worlds largest raise.
G Aquino
Took the PATH train to this station to see a show at NJPAC. There was a skybridge connecting the station to an adjacent building, making for a shorter walk to the venue. The station did feel safe but we arrived in the late morning.
Ted Campbell
It's a transit hub for busses and trains, but the atmosphere leaves ALOT to be desired. Thankfully I'm just spending a few minutes a day passing through....
Dan Cea
Lot of connections. Most NJT lines hit here and it also has PATH connections. Bones wise the place is ok. Nice arcatecture and good options. Oh the downside it also serves as a platform for people trying to solicit you for money. It makes you feel slightly on guard while your there
Steve Schlackman
It may not be perfect but it is the central transportation hub for New Jersey. Generally safe, moderately clean, good until NJTransit derails at NYPenn.
Daniel Papay
Welcome to Newark and welcome to Jersey to all the low star ratings. Newark Penn trains are reliable and run on Time. But sure it needs some improvement on homeless but overall a decent station
La Megane
Great! But they need to do something about the homeless people.
Donna A Campbell

Kind of dirty and run down. Still a good train station, only real complaint was that there were several times that the trains were switched to different tracks and were difficult to find.

Smells bad at entrance, then your nose gets used to it. Food places are the only clean places, but not all of them though

This is what is expected from a busy station. Doesn't mean that people dont try just that it's a busy place and you just have to be mindful of your surroundings and ask for help when you need it

the stations are clean maybe for an hour the homeless people stink up the place plus they think you should be giving them your money and if you say no they will not leave you alone and they cruse at you stand in your face until you have to get mean about their actions the 39 bus is the worst people beat up the bus drivers people use drugs on the bus and argue

While it is not difficult to get here from the city (New York City) - it is confusing once you are there. There seems to be several types of transport going in and out of this station..... Amtrak, Literail, and New Jersey Transit. On the same platform there is a way to take both literail and the (subway) NJT - this means a difference in buying paper ticket or using your metro card. I don't think these overlaps are well marked.
Christopher Daniel
