I use Metry cab occasionally, as a first choice. Sometimes the service is great, other times I get a rude male dispatcher. Doesn’t seem to handle stress or feedback well. See other reviews below that address sarcasm and rudeness. I don’t think he is a people person. If this happens to you, hang up and call Star Cabs as your alternative. Life is too short. 🤷‍♀️ warning: expect sarcasm when he responds to honest feedback, also documented below. The women dispatchers handle being busy without taking it out on customers. They can multitask and also, the drivers are great.

Was stuck with a broken down car and needed a ride. Called Metry and a cab was to me in about 15 minutes. No complaints here got me from A to B with no issues. Will use them again.

My car was damaged in an accident so I needed to rely on a taxi to get me around. I called Metry Cab and they were awesome! What really got me was that my driver made a quick stop on my street to hand out some cold drinks and snacks to the linemen who were working on my block. This was unexpected and I thanked him for that. He explained that there company has always and will always support first responders especially in the past during hurricanes. They have never closed for a storm and have assisted in evacuating people out before and after storms. This was awesome to hear.

Professional and reliable, got me to me destination on time. Always easy to reach by phone and it was a calm ride to the airport. After my 100 MPH Uber ride from the airport to my hotel I was not ready for another wild ride. Seems to be a small company that gets over loaded with business, so my advice would be call well ahead or plan to wait on one of their cars. In my experience it was well worth the wait, plan ahead is my only advice..

I was in town for the National Championship and needed a ride so I contacted Metry Cab The dispatch was super friendly and informative to my questions. The cab picked me up in about 10 minutes. The cab was clean and the driver was very nice. I would definitely contact them again when I'm in town.

I called after the first company was a no show for a ride to the airport and they were there in 10 minutes. I did have to call twice because they were busy the first time, but the driver got me to the airport quickly with no muss or fuss. The dispatcher was quick and courteous and spoke clearly. They were referred to us by the Hotel staff and said they are the best and have been in business for like 1000 years. I can see why, we will request them next time we are in town!!!

Thank you to Metry Cab who assisted me in a pick up at the Airport today that others were not willing to do. I had a large package that was sent to New Orleans instead of Los Angeles where I was currently. It needed to be picked up at cargo and since I was not in town I needed someone to pick this up and drop it off at the Fed Ex location. I reached out to Metry Cab since I hit a dead end with everyone else and im glad I did. I didn't know if they handled packages but I found out that they are also a courier company as well. Thanks Metry Cab for the understanding and professionalism with my situation!!

Gary picked us up Saturday night and I have to say that it was an absolute pleasure having this man drive us home! He was prompt to arrive to our location and chatted with is the whole time and got us home safe. He was excellent and I would give him ten stars if it were an option

I have used Metry Cab on many occasions. There service is outstanding! I use them to go to the airport. The drive is always on time. The drivers all drive safely. When you call to book a cab- Raymond the dispatcher who does the booking is always so kind and has the best attitude. Their prices are very reasonable and we like it better than parking our car at the airport. They have cars and vans. When we tried Uber for an early morning flight - the driver took so long to get to our house- we almost missed our flight. With Metry Cab you tell them the time- so there is not the uncertainty of Uber being late. I gave them 5 star the highest rating on google reviews- If I could I would give them 10 stars!! That is how great they are!! If you are looking for cab service that is reliable, professional, and reasonable priced then Metry Cab should me your only choice!

I called for a cab to go from one car repair service to another, the representative spoke clearly and was very courteous. Cab #6 arrived in no time. Had a good conversation with the driver and could not have asked for better service. Any time that I need a cab in Metairie in the future, I will definitely call Metry Cab Service!! Awesome Service. They have been the best taxi company in the area for over 77+ years, its the company the locals use, know and trust. My elderly parents use them on a daily basis and have never had an issue.

My experience was awesome. Only about 20 minutes after I called for a ride, John showed up. I was lucky and they had a cab available close to me. He was great, his customer service level went above and beyond. I don't know how you drive in this crazy traffic everyday, but you were definitely an excellent driver today and my family appreciated the ride to the Airport!! I will say this, they are very in demand so at times you may have to wait. I experienced this once, but well worth it.

Though they only ever have a few (2-3) working cabs they are nice,fast,and usually very punctual.They drivers are a lil rough around the edges and could take a little more pride in "self-care" but whatever..nothings perfect. This isn't for you if you're a bit bougiee or uppity.

Best cab experience I’ve had in awhile. We are from New Orleans and were out of the country on Vacation. We called from across the country to order a cab in advance because we knew how difficult it is to organize a ride with our requirements. They were extremely accommodating, and I would really recommend everyone to give them a call. Very safe and clean cabs.

Excellent service provided in a prompt manner after waiting 8 hours for scheduled tow jobS. Towing companies do not provide rides due COVID 19. METRY CAB SERVICES was my only alternative for a ride home after midnight.

With all of the chaos going on with the trucking and transportation situation we were in need of having some packages delivered. I used them twice from airport and the experience was great both times. Drivers were on time. While coming back from the airport, we came out after 15 minutes because of long queue at customs but the cab driver was waiting and he did not charge me extra for it. I will highly recommend them. Almost gave 4 stars because on one separate occasion we had to wait about 45 minutes to an hour for a cab. It was at a peak and busy time for them and they backed up. So thats why we make sure now to call well in advance.

LIFESAVER! After being stranded (with cancelled flight after cancelled flight, delay after delay) Metry Cab came through and got me to the airport in a last minute rush attempt to make a flight. When I got the call from the Airline I literally had an hour and 15 minutes to get to the Airport. I called Metry Cab and they said they were sending a cab right away, about 7 minutes later the cab arrived and I was off to the Airport. Traffic was heavy around the airport but the driver said dont worry he knew a short cut. Well he sure did and then when I arrived he even helped with my luggage to the counter. When I got to my gate boarding was just starting and I had made it. Thank you Metry Cab and thanks to your driver who was awesome!!

This is the best taxi company in the area period! None of the others even compare. The only issue I have is that sometimes its hard to get a cab, mainly during peak times. But hey thats how it goes sometimes when you offer something good!!

I took a chance with metry cabs I’m glad I did I’m very and press on how clean their cars are and how nice the drivers are I’m so happy that I did not use star cabs I seen some cars that star cabs used it was very upsetting

I stayed in Metairie for 5 nights and was around and about at all times of day and night. The longest I had to wait was 10 or 15 minutes and this was at 4 am.Never once did this cab company fail me. All the drivers were friendly and professional. I'm so glad to have used this cab company, and will be sure to use it upon my return.

I have to brag on Metry Cab Service. Today my son’s girlfriend and her brother took a cab to the airport. They paid with (what they thought) was a $20, but was actually a $100 bill.
