Reviews of Julia Street Cruise Terminal
The main issue with this terminal is the parking and the parking access, unfortunately there is no nearby parking and the traffic during the cruise days is terrible. Besides this everything else is just great, no complaints.
Easy to navigate, traffic was well controlled getting people in and out. Staff was helpful and friendly with directions, luggage & security.
Easy onboard, good food, cute souvenir shop, nice displays, excellent tour guide talking over the loud speaker, nice music, definitely worth doing!
The staff there were very friendly and patient. They helped lead you in the right direction and got you through the boarding process quickly!
This is where you board the cruise ships for Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. The area is under construction right now so there is quite a bit of chaos with the traffic and lots of people everywhere. It's all pretty straightforward though from leaving your luggage with a porter and then checking in. Make sure you have some cash to tip the porter as that is expected.
terminal for royal carribeen has no parking in terminal building. the outdoor parking lot is not well signed. when you see a parking lot, that is not for cruise passages. it is for the outlet shoppers.
When heading out to the wide open sea...not better port to leave from. Spend some time in NOLA before an after your cruise.
Very helpful people to get us to our parking area to get us to or cruise terminal.
Sailing on Royal Carribean. The setup for dropping off the luggage and then parking left something to be desired. Seemed rather disorganized.
