Professional service with a personal touch. Best pricing for airport transfers in the city! They also pickup at the train station as well. Mr. Bernard had my group of seniors feeling like real VIPs, not only was he extremely accommodating for our two groups, he made sure each person received beads to welcome them to the city and had cold water on hand for them on the way to the hotel. He also provided our group with a welcome cake from Adrian's, my group loved it. Bernard Transportation did an outstanding job and I highly recommend them.

Bernard is absolutely professional in every manner: in kindness, attentiveness, and in follow through. In the matter of 5 minutes he was able to meet the needs to our group size and arrange transport for us. Bernard Transportation provided us a safe, clean, reliable and reasonably priced transport to and from the airport on our visit to NOLA. But it’s even better than those things; Reuben is a happy, honest, helpful, delightful person. He was there, in the airport, waiting for us when we arrived even after our plane was late. He had texted us to tell us not to worry about our late plane so that when we landed and had cell service again, it was the first thing I saw and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that piece of mind upon arriving in an unknown city. He was on time then, and days later at exactly the time we pre-arranged. When I called, Reuben was quick to answer and quick to confirm via text regarding our rides. He’s just a cool person. After reaching out to a couple of different ground transportation companies for my 50th birthday celebration, I decided to book with Bernard Transportation due to their excellent customer service and great rates. I live in Georgia but Reuben made sure to stay in contact with me and provided prompt and courteous customer service prior to my group even setting foot in New Orleans. Once there he left no stone unturned and because of his great recommendations and connections in the New Orleans area, we had the best weekend ever. From amazing restaurants, to a tour of the "real" NOLA that takes you away from the tourist attractions, to thoughtful gifts for me and my friends, he made sure we had a memorable time. I would highly recommend Bernard Transportation. Reuben greeted us with beads and goodies when he picked us up. He also took us to a great restaurant, which we will be back. We also enjoyed the tour, and got to see a different side of New Orleans. Reuben was punctual, very polite and the van was clean. We visited New Orleans with no idea that it was Jazz Fest weekend (hard to believe but true!). After many calls to other transportation companies they all said rather rudely that we were out of luck. We felt so lucky when we found Reuben of Bernard Transportation as he was willing to fit us in even though we were only two people in a large van which could accommodate many others and he could have made more money. He was on time, courteous, and we were happy as we passed the long lines at the uber station. On the ride to the hotel he gave us a tour with historical facts, recommended local versus tourist restaurants and provided tips for our safety during our stay. He overheard that I wanted a king cake and on the return trip he had brought me one! Along with beads for the kids and a box of chocolate he remembered we had back home. We came to New Orleans not knowing a soul and left knowing that next time our friend Bernard will pick us up! He'll be our first call when we return for business or pleasure knowing he can accommodate both small and large parties with a smile. Fairly priced, punctual, vehicles are clean and service is outstanding. What a great start and end to a great trip to a wonderful city!

Bernard provided excellent transportation for our family. He took us from our cruise ship to our hotel by the airport. When Bernard heard us talking about wanting to get beignets before we left New Orleans the next morning, he gladly chimed in that he would make a detour for us so that we could try some and it wouldn’t cost anything extra. While it took us about 30 minutes in line to get the Beignets, Bernard got our family another favorite treat from New Orleans, a pound cake. We would definitely recommend his companies services. Very professional and considerate.

Bernard Transportation was absolutely amazing! My wife and I and our 4 young children headed to New Orleans for a week vacation and Mr. Ruben picked us up at the airport. He was super polite, professional, on time and a lot of fun! My kids loved him, he gave our kids Mardi Gras beads and then drop off cupcakes at the hotel later that day, so thoughtful and so unexpected! The ride back was just as great as the ride from, Mr. Ruben started and ended our vacation with a big smile😁! Five stars are Not ENOUGH!! Our national conference spent about a week in New Orleans in 10/15 and had many opportunities to work with Bernard Transportation, both typical shuttle trips and extraordinary tours. The shuttle services were excellent. The truly exceptional work (in addition to the typical transportation services) came from Reuben Bernard--who led outstanding tours related to 10 years after the Katrina tragedy. This included a tour of the Lower Ninth Ward, home of his family and friends. We had scheduled 2 half day tours for our conference participants, but the interest was so high (and the feedback from participants sooo positive) that Reuben added 7 additional tours to accommodate the demand. The tours were incredibly informative, very moving, giving us the background and view only possible from someone as honest, forthright and sincere as Reuben. It was an unforgettable experience. Reuben and his company are truly NOLA heroes and terrific ambassadors for the people of New Orleans. Bernard Transportation will take you where you need to go; and if you are interested, he will also show you New Orleans, beyond the hotels and French Quarter.

Rueben Bernard and his team helped make our recent trip to New Orleans a success by providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation for our party of 12. Reuben was cordially waiting for us at the airport upon our arrival. He provided us with a good foundation of information on the area, helped with a stop at the local supermarket to grab our needed supplies, and was just a pleasure to spend time with. Flight delayed, then flight canceled, so new flight leaving @ 650am & the Airport shuttle wasn't available until 6am (which wouldn't work). So I googled Airport Transportation & called Bernard Transportation, spoke with Ruben (very friendly & polite) advised of situation & he agreed to get us at the Airport by 5am. They kept in contact up until time of pickup, arrived on time (actually early) to get us, got us to the airport, & was more economical than the airport shuttle we had previously used. Support Bernard Transportation they are AWESOME!!!

Having found Bernard Transportation through a web search, I was understandably nervous about using this service. Because of the strong favorable ratings, I decided to use the service to pick up my daughter who was traveling to New Orleans for a wedding. This was the BEST decision I could have made! The first time I used Bernard Transportation, I was with a large group of people after the Po Boy Fest up on Maple St. and had inadvertently left my phone in the back of his van. I called my phone not knowing where I had left it and Reuben picked up and brought it to where I was staying at the time. Reuben grew up in New Orleans and knows the city like the back of his hand. He over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry - true professional! He can handle large groups which has been great for Jazz Fest and Mardi Gras when I'm there with friends and family. My friend, Thelma, and I had the pleasure of being customers of Reuben Bernard of Bernard Transportation in New Orleans about about a month ago. I would definitely recommend Reuben to anyone! We are both senior citizens and Reuben was very kind, thoughtful and professional. He even took us to a small local seafood place, the crabby oyster I think the name was, because it was too early to check in at our hotel, and then he took us on a tour of the city. On the way back to the airport the following week he went out of his way to stop at a special bakery so we could get binyets(excuse the spelling) because we had never had them. We have been using Bernard Transportation since March 2018. We cruise from New Orleans in March and October and he picks us up at whichever location we choose to stay and gets us to our ship on time. Always on time to pick us up from our ship and back to our car location. Always has a smile and pleasant attitude no matter the traffic. Don't know what I will do if he is ever not available for his new Tennessee Family. Look forward to seeing him again in Oct 2019. Ruben and his drivers can't be beat.

Bernard went above and beyond to help transport my family around NOLA. At one point he dropped us off at our destination, a restaurant, turns out they wouldn’t let my kids in. I panicked because we were stranded far from our hotel and we had 9 people with us including 5 kids. I hurried and called Bernard and he rushed back over to pick us up and drove us to another restaurant. Then when our airport Uber didn’t show up I called Bernard and he drove over and got us. It was a Sunday and it was his day off. Fast forward two weeks after returning to Dallas my son lost his souvenir hat and I called Bernard and he went over and bought a new one and mailed it to us. This guy is Superman!!!

I cannot say nothing but A+++++ service. I arrive at the MSY airport and I am greeted by Mr. Bernard with a sign with my name on it. But it also has happy birthday. When I get into the van I am greeted once again with a banana bread loaf and beads. NO I am talking about the nice ones. He then proceeds to take me and my wife to a drive thur Daiquiri spot. OMG! Gave us insight on Cafe beigent pronounced as BEN'yay" and a bunch off helpful eatery and places to visit. Also on the ride to the hotel he shared some history of his city. The trip from Philadelphia PA to the Big Easy was one to remember. USE BERNARD TRANSPORTATION you will not have to wait. I have meet a new friend in NOLA. We will be back for Mardi Gras 2020.
