Took the metro into union Station for $1.75 . 3min walk towards union Station east, exit the building took a right, followed signs to Flyaway. Got a $9.75 bus ticket to lax. Can get it online their website or at the booth by the bus, card only. Bus is nice, Air-conditioned, poweroutlets, wifi(need password didnt try it), luggage storage under bus. Masks required, no sanitizer provided. I hope bus was sanitized. Direct route to airport. Stops at each terminal driver asks which airline you need. Comfortable safe convenient.

Nice experience. Totally got to veg out to utube videos and decompress. Took train up from Oceanside to access better airport destinations. All in all 3 hr total stress free trip with safety meetings in between legs. No hassles

This is a great service to get to LAX from Union Station and vise versa. The bus is clean and it’s inexpensive to get to the center of LA and Union Station. You can pick up from any terminal and will drop you at your departing station too. The bus is clean and the service is a great alternative to Uber. If you have luggage you’ll have to put it under the bus. And the bus takes the fast lane (HOV). It’s the only good functioning thing in Los Angeles. And considering the hell scape of LAX this is one of the best forms of transportation to get to the Union Station. The Flyaway is located right outside the Union Station and it’s very easy to find. Also at LAX the bus stop for flyway is marked by a blue column that says on it Flyaway.

This makes going to the airport such a breeze, no headaches, accessible and such nice staff. I’ve been on the flyaway 4-5 times now and each time it’s been a breeze. The only time I’ve had issues is when I had to leave/arrive near rush hour but that’s not in the control of the driver. If you go late at night or early in the morning the wait is not bad and not that many people are there.

Convenient, quick, and easy. Very conveniently located at Union Station so there's a lot of ways to get to this location. Service was quick because the bus can travel in carpool lanes and gets to LAX in about half an hour. Easy because paying for a ticket was fast and the driver was quick to take note of what terminals passengers actually needed to be at. You can stow extra luggage under the bus if necessary. Not busy during non-rush hours.

My girlfriend just use this service and super convenient. No one was available to drive her to LAX so after taking the train from Perris, Ca to the union station, it was just a quick walk over to the bus stop and a minor 15 minute wait. She was able to use that same train ticket to hop on the bus and 30 Minutes later she arrives at LAX. It was perfect.

Definitely a convenient alternative to and from LAX. But I have to say that it is very unorganized upon arrival into Union station. They need someone scanning pre-purchased tickets when coming off the shuttle, instead of having everyone stand in line with or without tickets.

Warning: card payment only. NO CASH. Bus stops conveniently located at LAX but It takes a while waiting for the bus. I always use this flyaway and from my experiences, most drivers were like stressed or not happy with their job except for one who was nice and friendly without cursing other drivers/commuters at LAX. Bus itself is relatively comfortable but it may be too small for those above average size persons. Seats can be reclined. Bus drivers will take your luggages and put them inside the cargo hold. Pay by card only at their kiosk in Union station. Can also buy tickets online for the same price of $9.75 one way. Will always use this service.Bus tracker program is not user friendly. Needs to be simple to navigate.

There isn't a lot of direction if you haven't used it before and not alot of people seeming like they care to explain but the bus is nice and its only $10 for a long ride through bad traffic to the airport and can use bypass lanes so the service itself is 4 stars

We Love the ' FLY AWAY BUS' because it's the most convenient way to get to LAX from Union Station. The bus transports passengers to their specific airline terminal for only $9.75 per person. The bus is comfortable, clean and air conditioned.

So beware they not run the bus as scheduled !!!!!!! Today bus 4.30 not operate as scheduled! No one can tell why it not on schedule even two bus wait at the platform already. We have to wait more 30 mins so very late schedule to LAX. As it rush hour so it take 60 mins to get to the airport!! This is nightmare and unreliable service.

Don't believe all the karen type reviews here. When we rode metrolink and needed a transfer, the staff let us on basically right before the bus was scheduled to leave. Including traffic, we were at our terminal on time. The only weird thing is that with COVID there is no luggage stowing, but there are ample seats, so just put your luggage on the floor near an unused seat. Just read the website, and you'll be fine.

I bought tickets here and used flyaway and not really had problems. I'm going on an up coming trip I ended up buying my tickets early. I just saw in my email at the very bottom it says in the fine print only good for 30 days. it doesn't tell you this when you click buy tickets and buy them. on the website it says it under a very very long web page in small letters. I find this really unprofessional!!

Service consistency can be worked on. There’s no guarantee your bus will arrive. Have had to wait more than an hour on numerous occasions for the next bus to arrive.

Getting a ticket and boarding was easy, however they cancelled the immediate next bus and told us the one half an hour later would be the earliest available. Always ALWAYS have a good enough cushion in terms of time if you're relying on LA's public transportation system. Buses and shuttles don't always follow the time table.

Struggled a bit here since they are only accepting debit/credit card and I only had cash, had to ask strangers if they would buy my ticket and I’d give them cash. No ATM which was a hassle! But non the less they took great measures inside the bus and made sure guests were properly distanced.

This does the trick and saves a lot of money over using Uber or Lyft. With that said, If you're on a tight time table. Don't do this. When there is traffic the buses will run behind. There is a track the bus feature and a time table posted on their site. On avegerage the bus fakes ab 40-50 minutes to get there. It's been faster at night and early morning. The buses run almost full time which is really nice. If you're flexible and not trying to rush this is great. The buses are clean and air conditioned with WiFi.

The cashier next to the bus at Union station refused me to buy a ticket for cash. Only credit/debit. I had to run downstairs with my luggage and search for a machine to buy a ticket. This is ridiculous. Just replace those 3 people at the kiosk with one machine which accepts all the payments, so it will be cheaper and more efficient.

If you are needing to get to Union Station, best bet is to walk to a terminal on the north side of LAX. Terminal 7 rarely has enough seats and is often passed by as the seats are filled (even though their website tracker does not say it is full). The Union Station bus usually does not have "FLYAWAY" on the side of the bus (unlike other destinations). No cash is accepted (they will hold your bags until you pay for a ticket upon reaching Union Station's plaza), and TAP works ONLY if it is one TAP card per person. There is no note of this on their website. The line is very long, and there are two windows, which isn't well noted so it looks like people are cutting when a second line is started by the attendants. Large bags are stored under the bus, and carry-ons only work if they fit on your lap.

Nice people, operated by Coach USA (who also own Megabus). Air conditioned nicely. Restroom on board. Ride was smooth and driver was transporting us safely. WiFi was nonfunctional on my ride, but this was not too disconcerting since I have plenty of mobile data on my plan. At the airport the driver took care to announce all stops and associated airlines for us. Would definitely ride again, I saved over $20 taking the bus over Uber/Lyft.

Seems like a good idea at $10 compared to $30 for an Uber but not worth the hour of time I could’ve spent working and getting paid for it in the airport... There was an accident in the fast track lane. This leaves me feeling bad for whomever was involved, though several customers left forfeiting their no refundable ticket when the bus showed up 30 minutes later, and an hour after I arrived. The attendant initially promised they’d Uber us and then rescinded the promise because busses were moving; would have been nice if they’d Ubered the few people who no doubt left to pay for rides on their own dime. On another occasion, the driver passed my terminal and only realized when I was still in the bus as we were leaving insisting I should’ve told him. As my first time in LA how is it my responsibility that he didn’t note down my tagged bag? Thought I’d give it a second try but after this 40 minute delay, there won’t be a third. I’m just glad I left myself tons of extra time. Next time I’m taking the metro...

I am grateful for this alternative transportation to LAX but the first and only time I have taken it, the driver did not show up for 30 minutes. I would have missed my flight if it had not been for the slow day at the airport. I am hoping this doesn't happen very often as I'm looking forward to taking it more often in the future.

At the ticket counter The young employees were more concerned about text messaging on their cell phone then selling me the tickets that I needed to get on the bus and showing me which bus to get on. When's the bus driver didn't arrive he was very professional and took charge and got everyone's luggage under the bus and self and loaded each and every passenger on the bus first no late to make sure that they got on the bus safely. Affordable ride to LAX airport at about $10/person (they don't accept cash). It actually didn't take as long as I thought it would have taken to get to the airport. I took the 3pm bus and it took like an hour to get to reach LAX. But maybe if it was during rush hours it may take longer. Also, make sure you have tags marking which terminal you'll be flying from. They're just paper tags that you write the terminal number on. You can find them from the guy that will be stowing luggages into the bus compartment. I actually arrive a little later and didn't know about the tags and was moved to the back of the line because of it. However, if you have smaller luggages (i.e. backpacks or small carry-ons) you can bring them with you onto the bus.

Flyaway to LAX is a superconvenient and inexpensive way to commute between downtown's Union Station to LAX to catch a flight out of Los Angeles. It's a hassle free, stress free, leave the driving to someone else solution. The FlyAway buses are comfortable and spacious with free wi-fi on board. Just make sure to leave at least 2-3 hours before so you won't miss your flight connection.

The service provided by the Flyaway to Lux was really good. This is the srop and pick up point for the Flyaway bus service. You can buy your tickets from the sales counter. All the ticket checking is done here. That is when you are coming from air port or when you are boarding to the bus. It would be more convenient to buy tickets online. The luggages will be handled by the driver(at air port and here) or ticket assistant(here). The restrooms are available in the Union Station about 3 minutes walk from here.
