It took me a while to figure out how these trams work. There are two trams, and one of them (the Eastern track) only goes between Excalibur and Mandalay Bay as it has no way to stop at Luxor. They don't always run the direct express from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay so the other one will serve all locations. The inside (Western) tram that services Luxor as well operates like this. It starts at the 1.) Northern Station, 2.) Travels South to Mandalay Bay (not stopping at the Luxor), 3.) Stops at Luxor, 4.) Stops at Excalibur outside the Royal Tower, 5.) Returns to the Northern Station. So if you want to go to Luxor from Excalibur, you first go to Mandalay Bay, and then go back to Luxor. If you are traveling from Luxor to either stop at Excalibur you just wait for the tram returning North from Mandalay Bay. If you want to go from Luxor to Mandalay bay, then you are getting on, traveling two stops North, then all the way back to Mandalay Bay. For such a trip I recommend just walking inside from Luxor to Mandalay Bay through the shops. It's going to be faster for sure. When we stay at the Luxor, this Tram makes it super easy to get to T-Mobile Arena for hockey games.

The Luxor was great. It's on the south side of the strip with easy access to most of the casinos in the area. It was priced well for a hotel on the strip. I stayed there for 4 nights and its a great experience. Its in the best place as its in the starting point of Bus trips(can buy Buss pass), and if you are lucky to get upper deck front row of the Double Decker bus you have best view to see Strip, so that decide where you want to visit, just like a Disneyland Railroad Train ride. Overall great place!

Cuts down on The walking. Quite a lot and the tram comes about every 10 to 15 minutes.

The tram station is ok, not much to taste it takes you to and from three adjacent casinos and is completely automated. The staff at the Luxor are rude and not remotely helpful. Vegas used to be fun. Since the big corporations took over it's all over priced glitz and glam or bit they don't even try to give good customer service unless you spent rediculous amounts of money on their over priced services and lose a lot in their casino. If you are not a millionaire or have a huge line of credit the strip is overrated. Go down to Fremont and have fun for a lot less money and the establishments still understand the importance of having good, friendly and polite staff, working for their patrons... I won't be going back to Vegas anytime soon. The whole town just got lost in all the lights.

I always use the Tram on the strip when I visit Vegas. The only thing that was frustrating was the machine to purchase tickets at the Harrah's location was not working. A few people said it had been down for months. Somebody needs to look into that.

Currently free for riders. I am not sure if that has always been the case. Quick way to travel between the Lux, Mandalay Bay, and the Excalibur. Just note if you are leaving the Excalibur, you stop first at Mandalay Bay and hit the Luxor on your way back.

Something different and fast. Makes travel between Excalibur, Mandalay Bay and Luxor quick and easy. We rode on a Friday around 6pm and at 10pm, and it wasnt crowded.
