We used them to pick us up to and from the airport and it was the best decision in Grand Rapids. Showed up early, and would do it at the odd times (early in the morning and late at night). Would highly recommend and we will be using him again! Thank you!

What can I say!? Johnny is dependable and responsible. You can rely on him to pick you up even if it is 1 am in the morning!!! He is polite and respectful of his clients. I have used his service now two times and he is truly the best service to rely on. I would not use any other taxi service in the Grand Rapids area. Try his service. He won’t let you down and his rates are affordable too. Go Johnny!!!

Excellent service arranged for my daughter in advance from Grand Rapids airport to East Lansing (MSU campus). They confirmed that morning and even made an extra stop. The weather wasn't great but no delays and very safe. We will DEFINITELY use Excel Taxi again!

My flight from O’Hare at Gerald R. Ford arrived at midnight. The phone was answered promptly when I called for a pick up. The driver was communicative and on time. My drop off was in Allegan. The driver and I chatted the whole way. Despite winter weather, I felt safe and secure. Professional and friendly service!

Great service. On time, professional, and personable. Lots of space for my family of four to get to and from the airport. Drive felt safe, which was especially important traveling with children in carseats. The driver even kept track of our flight to accommodate for any delays. Price was very reasonable. Prior to leaving on my trip and after googling possible taxi services in the Grand Rapids, MI area I came across Excel and spoke to a staff member that stated they could provide the service even though is was schedule for 11:40PM. My experience was very positive for the driver texted me on the day of my arrival to confirm that he would be there and he was...right on time! I emailed inquiring about a taxi less than 36 hours before I needed to be picked up for an early morning flight and they were able to accommodate me easily. Communication was quick and efficient to make a reservation as well as morning of pickup. My driver was punctual, professional, and took all the stress out of an early travel morning. Such an amazing services and highly recommended to anyone. I’m new to Michigan and still very uncomfortable driving in the snow/storm. While no other driver/taxi wanted to pick me up during an outrageous weather and time (5:00am) and Uber/lyft was no where to be found in my area, John made possible for me to get to my destination on time. I had a 4:00am pickup from Amway Grand to the airport. The driver called at 3:45 to make sure I was up and would be down there. He arrived on time and was very friendly. Great conversation about his home country and other tidbits. Super nice, friendly. Support this small business when you are in town.

We used Excel and had a lovely trip for 4 from the Lowell area to Grand Rapids and back, for a show. John was on time, professional, friendly and a great driver with a very clean and comfortable minivan. We were able to text him our exact location after the concert (downtown gets crazy with traffic) and he was right there to pick us up. Very affordable and professional company and we'll definitely reach out again if we need transportation!

I choose this company first because they had the highest star rating and I found out why.. .I used this service because I needed to get to a destination that was easier for myself getting a ride as opposed to having older parents drive the hour through traffic that could be unknown with construction or accidents to pick me up. The service was professional, friendly and comfortable. I only had way of paying by cash & at the time of drop-off. He trusted my parents and myself with the honor system and I was grateful he did because if he hadn’t, I’d been stuck another night or longer at a place I didn’t want to stay at. I would recommend this service to anyone anytime for a reliable & efficient driving service if you need to get somewhere around the Grand Rapids area. I was driven from Grand Rapids to Kalamazoo with no problem! I am very grateful to them!

Have worked with them twice now to get my son from the airport in Grand Rapids to his dorm in Big Rapids and both times have gone smoothly despite the second time having delays from Delta Air that caused the day of flight to change. They are flexible, provide accurate price quotes, very understanding, fast email replies, and ultimately a smooth and safe ride experience. Highly recommend if you want to take the hassle out of getting somewhere from the airport in Grand Rapids, MI.
