The rate was highly competitive and driver was extremely customer orriented. I can't believe I haven't used them in the past. I know who my go to is now.

They are one of the largest companies in the Chicago area, so they have a wide range of customers. Some people are not so nice and like to leave negative reviews when they don't want to service them because they are drunk, beligerant, or in other situations. All of these are stories I've heard from their drivers! I've been using them for over ten years and they've only ever been slightly late on a handful of rides!

Great opportunity to make cash quick. Training was simple and quick. Had me working day after training. Very easy to pick up on. If you work you make money. How long do you work a regular job? 9-5 this is no exception. You make your own hours but if you do what you should you will make your money! Every seasoned taxi driver knows this.

Live in Oak Brook and have to go to my job in naperville everyday. Car broke down and I've been using them for the past week. Wayyy Cheaper then UBER and their cars are super nice all black and doesnt look like a walking advertisement. Got the same driver everyday. He lived nearby. I was asking if Uber has effected them at all. To my surprise he said they were busier then ever. I could understand why by far the nicest Taxi i've been in. Almost felt like I was driving in a limo then a taxi. Driver was awesome as well. Will take this over UBER any day!

Listen I worked for these guys for over 15 Years. As you can probably tell taxi drivers aren't the most cheerful bunch. I never had any problems with working here. The majority of the time these bad reviews from past employees are ones that left because they were fired. Usually because they don't pay their daily lease. If you actually work cause they have plenty of business... you will have no problem here. Hate seeing a company get slandered with biased reviews.

John, our cabbie, arrived exactly on time to take us to stansted airport, drive was smooth and he was very friendly. and they only charged us $45 for 6 people plus lots of luggage. I got a really rude reply from another taxi company, who initially said they'd charge me $55, but said with luggage it would be close to $65! When i replied that obviously 6 people going to the airport would need space for luggage they still would not admit they were in the wrong for false advertising. But Universal Taxi was great! I'd use them again.

I’m giving honest 5 stars. I had a flight around 6am and I had to be in airport by 5 so I call midnight . I tried picking Uber but I had no trust that they won’t sho up on time. And other websites seems lill worry due reading reviews. I’m a review believer. I downloaded this app for this website and just tried seeing if it worked. And I called the costumers service and they immediately answer my call and confirmed to pick me up around 4 and the driver showed up before 4 am which was very nice and he will very nice too. We used Universal Taxi to get to/from O'Hare Airport. Yes, Universal Taxi might cost a little more, but you are picked up on time or even early. You get calls and texts on arrival times. The car was clean and the guy was a good conversationalist. I thought calling a taxi and staying local would be a good change, cause I usually use Lyft or Uber, they both were around $10-15 dollars for the less than 5 mile drive and could have been there in about 15 minutes, but I didn’t have my purse and I had recently gotten a new card number that had not been updated in either app, I had to use cash. I called for a ride around 12 am, dispatch told me about 20-30 minutes. Ultimately it took just under 2 hours for the cab to show up, the driver was not driving safely he kept missing turns and blowing stop signs and lights. It cost $32.00 for less than 5 miles! Plus a tip for the driver. I don’t expect to get anything from this company if I called and complain so just based on the responses from the 2 phone calls after I called and ordered the ride. I wonder if he wasn’t missing turns on purpose to run up the meter. Live and learn. I updated my Uber and Lyft account and hopefully won’t ever need them again
