I had a wonderful, friendly driver, and person, who got me to an important doctor’s appointment on time and picked me up afterwards very quickly. I waited a very short time. Not only that, but she called me two hours before pickup time to let me know when she’d be at my home and she arrived at the exact time. Her name is Carolyn Sue and I highly recommend both her as a driver and C&H as a reliable company.

The drivers I get are all great, but the truth is I've called and got nothing 5 hours at a time, and once 12 hours before I called and told them it was too late. I've heard from dispatchers that they can choose which rides they want to pick up and ignore the rest of them - which would be a very bad business model.

Driver 191- Joe is an excellent driver. He has been with the company for many years and is quite dedicated, prompt and cautious. He always strives to do a great job. He cares about his customers and makes safety a priority. He has even been known to give a courtesy ride to lost puppies, save injured pets from the highway and save abandoned kittens along his route. He goes above and beyond for the greater good every chance he gets.

I am late writing this but just found Shannon Collins' #476 business card in my travel case and I really need to PUBLICLY commend her. In early August, I was at the Charleston Airport and desperately needed to get to the Bass Outdoor Store and get back to the airport to check my just-inherited family heirloom shotgun. I had pathetically little time to do so as my flight was less than two hours away and the TSA rejected my first gun case. She got me to Bass, waited, and got me back to the airport (despite sudden emergency road closures) in time to check the new case and board. If it were not for her expert navigational skills and knowledge of back roads, I would not have made it. She was amazing and calm and cool though all my drama.

I don't understand the negativity! Jeb and Jennifer were incredibly accommodating and helpful! Jennifer went out of her way to make sure an infant riding was safe and comfortable. I was able to book a trip for someone else that was a good two hours long and they didn't bat an eye! The trip was arranged within the day. I would highly recommend this cab service to everyone looking for a safe, fair, and quality ride!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! This Company doesn't deserve a star. I only gave them 5 stars so everyone knows how bad this company is. When calling to speak with dispatch, they are VERY RUDE. I've NEVER had a good experience with this company. The customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. This area needs a new taxi company to take over this one. I needed a taxi ride home from Yeager Airport this evening and called C&H taxi service to meet me at the airport. I checked in my rental car and walked out of baggage claim and there sat my taxi ready to take me home. Lora, my taxi driver, took the most direct route to my home and we were able to cover most of the recent news events in Charleston while I was away. She shared some very interesting information about Uber that I was not aware of. She told me about how they use event pricing to raise their fares during peak demand periods for taxi service. I was not aware of that and appreciated her sharing that with me. It was a great ride back home and a good conversation. Thanks Lora!

I am a regular user of Uber. I was at a smaller airport and Uber was not available. My hotel suggested I use the taxi service. It was refreshing to have a taxi. I had forgotten how professional the taxi service was... compared to riding in someone else’s car, i.e. Uber. I compared prices and the taxi service was actually less and more available. 5 stars!

I have nothing but compliments for this transportation company. What stood out most was driver 105, Rich Anderson. His van was emmaculate. He was polite, courteous, and ensured I felt comfortable. He has driven these roads for 14 years, and doesn't have to use GPS for me. He always picks up and drops me off in a timely manner. I refer him to everyone I know that needs a ride. His cab always has air fresheners. Sometimes I feel like I'm on a getaway or in a field with fresh berries. He's so professional and puts Uber to shame. Every Uber experience I've had consisted of rude drivers running behind with the lingering odor of McDonald's and feet in their vehicles. I'd recommend C & H and driver 105 over any other means of transportation.

C&H Taxi, #476 specifically, is absolutely the best cab service I've ever used. I lived in Huntington for 15 years, taking cabs several times a week and none compared to the reliability, low wait-times, or friendliness and professionalism of C&H Taxi (#476). I definitely wouldn't hesitate to take a different C&H Taxi if #476 wasn't available but every time I've needed her, she's been right there.
