We left a bag full of electronics and wallet in the back of a taxi after landing at JFK at 2am. Phoned the taxi hold and they called back as soon as the driver returned then he came straight over with the bag. Very helpful!

Better than waiting at laguardia... just wish the fare was at least a bit higher so drivers would come out here more... yellow cabs are a great deal at jfk !

Taxi dispatch system needs to be changed. Often the central dispatcher send cabs to some terminals where there's no flight for around 1 or 2 hour. That's a waste of time. Send cabs to active terminals and make drivers life easier!!!

I like the JFK Central Taxi Hold because of its Size and location to the the GasStation ,Restaurant , Car Wash , and also for its closeness to the Terminals . It enables drivers to rest well before the next pick up .

Wir können hier mit ruhigem Gewissen 5 Sterne geben. Sind zu zweit innerhalb Terminal 1 direkt zur Warteschlange gegangen, nach 15 min saßen wir im Cab, ein sehr netter Fahrer hat uns durch den Freitagnachmittag Rushhour nach Manhattan (Financel District)gefahren. Für ca. 63 $ plus Trinkgeld ist das in Ordnung. Zu zweit kann man dieses Variante gut in Anspruch nehmen. Einige Bewerter beschweren sich dass sie zu viert vom Fahrer „motzig“ behandelt wurden und er sich darüber aufregte dass sich einer der 4(!) auf den Beifahrersitz setzte… - Hallo, aufgewacht- wir sind hier in New York und nicht in irgendeinem Kuhkaff. Wer hierher reist sollte sich vorher vernünftig informieren und den Transfer organisieren. Zu zweit, vielleicht Max zu dritt, ist ein Cab nach Manhattan die richtige Wahl, für vier als Limousine zu klein aber da gibts auch Cab minivan oder andere Transferunternehmen. Und zum Thema Beifahrersitz- das ist eigentlich der private Bereich des Fahrers wo dieser gerne auch mal sein Essen, trinken usw ablegt. Aber Hauptgrund ist die Sicherheit des Fahrers zum Schutz vor Überfall. Passagiere gehören in den abgetrennten Fond des Wagens. Bitte nicht mit Deutschland vergleichen!
