I can't say I'm terribly impressed with the process of checking in your luggage and parking your car for a cruise.
You'd think by now that have it down to a science to get people in get the bags off their car getting parked get them checked in... Not there yet.
My 4th cruise out of Baltimore port by far the slowest to get from I 95 to the cruise terminal.
However once I was out of my car and walking to check in it was smooth as silk very expeditiously done.
The process of getting the bags off your car collecting your money for parking and finally getting to the lot is a cumbersome process that takes way too long.

Well done Maryland Cruise Terminal and Royal Caribbean staff. Drove into port, directed the whole way, well organized and quick luggage drop off, parking was directly beside the registration location. On board with a beverage 36minutes from arriving at the port. Awesome!!!
Bransen M
The pickup lot bus stop sheds leak when it rains so you can barely stand in them to wait without getting wet. Ask me how I know. Some employees were rude as you are checking in/walking through coming out, some were very nice.
Steve Gallagher
The boat was just renovated but still shows some age. Overall a great experience. The crew were nice and the boarding was smooth. Getting off was a different story. It was a cluster and not well thought out. Took forever to get off.

Excellent cruise terminal. The staff and personnel are very active and make sure you get through the checkin process quickly and efficiently. Took care of our bags very quickly and staff was always happy to assist. Very well organized. We cruised on the Carnival Pride and had an excellent time. When we got back from the cruise the luggage was well organized at the terminal and very easy to find. We are looking forward to our next cruises out of baltimore.
Grey Cat
Very smooth customs services and terminal to the Carnival Legend. Thank you for being here to easily transport guests to the cruise ship!

In terms of signage and clear sight directions it can be bothersome trying to find the right exit to get there. Going north and south take exit 55 to get to the parking and drop-off. You can take 295, but there's more turns in order to get there.

First official stop on my travels across the world. Wasn't able or leave the ship but it was the beginning of a new adventure . Was Was really sunny day and the bay smelled like food. We saw small dolphins just trailing around the ship.
Kami Cramer
It's such an easy drive from the Pittsburgh area. The cruise terminal is right off the highway and so easy to use! Much easier than dealing with airports!
FLOYD A. CARTER JR.
Had a very easy time getting to my destination and getting the process over and done very quickly, Very organized, and efficient, coordinated. Clean and well staffed.
Big Fish
Everything at the port was good. The staff on shore was on point from the parking staff to baggage handling to on board assistance.
RE Perse
Don't show up early they can't let you in. You'll be doing circles around the highway.
Jaymee Gruver
Quick and easy to board the ship. As long as you come prepared it will be smooth sailing.
joel diab
Super fast to go through and everyone was really nice
Abigail Sims
The workers at this terminal knew what they were doing and didn't waste any time getting you on the ship. This was me and my husband's first cruise, so we were nervous about the process of boarding but were quickly put to ease! The workers are moving you along quickly while making jokes along the way. And here's a picture of our room the Carnival Pride staff decorated for our honeymoon!
Shannon Davis
Easy on, coming off not so much, felt like we were singled out because husband had his had in his pocket after placing his phone in it.
Sonita Bee
Long lines but enough space. Best place to park for a cruise. And you pay upfront for the number of days u will be parked for.
Dawn Imes
Great place so ready to board from Baltimore. Quick and easy boarding for carnival pride.
Robert Chambers
Great place to leave from for a cruise! On site parking and convenient to east coast locations.
JR
Easy embarkation process. Everyone was very pleasant. Love boarding at Baltimore! The only issue was waiting outside on long line in chilly weather until our time slot was able to enter. Once we started moving, process was very fast!
Karen Harclerode
Our first time & we were pleasantly surprised how efficiently this place runs!
Ron Moore
The place where I embarked on my first adventure on the open ocean. I wish they had it fully and competently staffed. Disembarking was slow because they expected 2 immigration officials to speedily check close to 2000 people. The ship was pretty chill. Hopefully be back here next year.
LaTawnya Reed
These were the nicest people ever! We were starting our honeymoon with this cruise and we were running late due to Maryland's traffic! When we got there, they processed us in record time to make sure that we got on that ship!!!!! We had to enter the ship at the very bottom where cargo comes in and watched as they pulled the plank! We will forever be grateful to them and the Carnival Cruise Line!!!!!! Thank God for your wonderful service!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Our honeymoon was a hit because of the Maryland Cruise Terminal!!!!!
Carmella Franklin
The whole experience wasn't really bad but could use improvements. Walking the ramps is hard for older people who don't require assisting equipment to ambulate . Once inside terminal you do move along quickly if you have your paperwork in order.

Great terminal for leaving on Carnival cruise. Staff was kind and organized. Very clean and easy to access. Parking was high but right for the area (large city). Parking is all on ground level and easy to walk into Port. Not a huge parking area but far more places available than required for entire passenger list. Will travel to and from this port again.
Deborah Lam
We went on a Carnival Cruise out of Port of Baltimore and it was very easy to navigate all of the people were very nice and Speedy
MonaLisa Leung Beckford
We came here to board on our cruise for our honeymoon from 5/7 to 5/14. The terminal offers enough parking for everybody boarding the cruise. The terminal was very busy with long lines, so if you are coming here for a cruise be prepared to wait in line for 40 minutes before getting onto the cruise. The facility is clean though.
Aaron Mittra (AD)
Rather well organized. Once you enter the area, several guys are out there directing traffic and separate them as "for parking" or "drop off." Once in, you can drop off luggage at a trolley which will be delivered to your stateroom. You are then sent to prepay for parking. Even the terminal staff are friendly and very organized.
Jonathan Carpenter
Easiest cruise port to use on the east coast. Parked and on the boat in 20 minutes if you're organized
Brian McGuinness
Fast, efficient way to board a ship. The new verifly app makes everything run smoother.
If you've never been through a security checkpoint before, please, watch some videos on what to do so you know what to expect, and you don't end up forming a large line behind your unprepared self.
Remo Molino
Easy to find. Easy well organized parking and drop off. Plenty of people giving direction and taking luggage.
Jeff Haynes
Great staff, and super quick boarding!
Chelsea Weaver
The staff was friendly, helpful, and speedy. The building was clean. Would sail out of here again in a heart beat.
Stacey Dawn
The staff is always kind and helpful.
Brandy Smith
Quick service boarding, but LONG wait leaving the port. Could have gone more smoothly. Overall decent and very convenient! Easy to get in and out of.
Bern Ross
I like catching the ship from this location,
Only thing I didn't like was waiting in the long lines to get on the ship.
We are disabled with a cane, and we waited a long while, our check in slot was 2:30p.m.-3:00p.m.
We was in line at 2:00p.m. and they didn't start the 1:00p.m. check in slot.
If they going to have a long line like that, they need seating somewhere.
Plus it was cold out.
We needed a wheel chair
But all n all it was ๐๐ฝ
Janet Barrettt
Excited and ready to get on this ship everyone at the terminal were very courteous to us it was eight of us that took the trip on the carnival Cruise line I like the way each person took their time with us and no one gave us any grief about anything it was a cold day and a but a lovely day thanks to the staff at Maryland Cruise terminal
Carl Lighty
Overall a good experience, having Verifly done before my arrival helped. Got us through and on the ship in about 20 minutes. Biggest issue was people arriving out of there assigned times.
Vicki Moore
Well organized when dropping off our luggage. Attendant in parking area was very friendly. Embarkation went very smoothly.
Skip Robert
It was a cold icy day. I self parked, walked to the terminal and within 15min i was rolling my suitcase into the interior Carnival cabin. Returned a week later and debarking was just as easy.
Jessie
Overall a good expereince. It was loud and bit overwhelming, but the people were helpful and kind.
Teresa Dove
Most efficient cruise port I have had the pleasure to sail out of.
Denise Pastor
Super easy, very organized! Parking was simple, drop your luggage from the car before you park. Park. Go in and get on the ship! Smooth process for sure.
Alan Marshall
Easy in & out from 95. Small port compared to Florida cruise ports. Parking is $15 a day, no reservations.
Constantin Dac
12 September will be first cruise from Baltimore
Marie Schelhause
Very quick and friendly but the web sight sucks. They said test Thursday Friday or Saturday to leave on Sunday so I did Thursday just in case I hit any snags and they refused my test n made me take another at the port
David Ramsey
Always fast and easy getting on a cruise ship in Baltimore.
Jay
Very clean and great staff inside. Family friendly and handicap accessible. Very easy to get to, right off the highway. Plenty of parking (not free). Check in was fast and security gates were a breeze. Safety and security was still all there and very tight.
Coming back was a little slow, rightfully so. Customs had to go through over 2500 people. The system they have in place kept a steady flow and made it easy. The check in bags were already cleared and waiting for us at the door to go to our cars. They also have airport service/transportation for those who came on a plane and need to go back.
My overall experience was very positive. Family friendly awesome staff, clean place and restrooms, easy in and out. If you're going on a cruise, I recommend this place as your take off and come back place.
c denise miller
Very fast and easy to get you in the ship. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful
Mike Frizzell
Considering the enormous volume of people processed through this facility, the whole affair, from start to boarding, is usually streamlined and remarkably painless. Drop-off is far more economical than parking. While parking space is plentiful and easy to navigate, at $15/day, it can add up for longer cruises. The staff are friendly, helpful, efficient and patient. As with airline travel, security is often a bottle-neck. It works slowly but smoothly. The majority of our cruises through this facility have been pleasant.
Arlana Wood
Love this terminal! Easy in and out! The staff is always very helpful, friendly and efficient! Always clean and the traffic flows pretty smooth most of the time!
Marlene Bowden
Easiest boarding we've ever experienced!!
Barry Shawkey
Maryland Cruise Terminal did a great job, easy exit off the ship and our luggage was almost all together!
satch arul
Because of 2 counters huge line up to get into the parking lot
john Lee
I've been on 7 cruises and this port had the fastest and smoothest boarding process. They took the luggage from the car as we drove in. There were very short lines to get on the ship. The security was fast an efficient. Parking was not cheap, but it was super convenient and close to the ship. I will definitely cruise from this port again.
Heidi Granese
This was easy to get to and they directed you right to parking. Big parking area and seemed secure and safe. Inside, the people directed you really well and they were very nice and everything went very smoothly. Nice area to sit to wait until we could board the ship. So I definitely think they did a wonderful job.
Hazel Wessel
Staff helpful, efficient, and not long waits. Everyone greeted me nicely
Victoria M
I've been through this terminal twice now, both times for the Carnival Pride. We arrived early (11am when our check-in time was 11:30) and were processed in about 15 minutes. All the staff were friendly and courteous. The key thing to always remember, as with traveling anywhere, is to look at the restrictions/prohibited items and to have your documents readily accessible. As we waited to board I saw the lines begin to back up (nothing terrible) so I highly recommend checking in as soon as possible. While we had to wait an hour before getting on the ship, we were the first zone on, and didn't have to wait in the processing/security line.
heidi ortiz
Not a big fan of this port. 80% of the workers were very rude. Don't think I'll be leaving out of here again.
Eva Howard
Easy access and parking. Checking process was smooth even with new protocols. Just have all your paperwork available.
Brittney Boyce
The terminal staff went out of their way to help us check in smoothly. Parking was unbelievably near the terminal and reasonably priced for the convenience. Heads up that you do need to have a hard paper copy of your identity documents (at the time we went, they were not accepting an image of the document on a phone).
Richard Sikorski
Have used this terminal many times. They have their act together. Smooth transition from shore to ship and visa versa
Geoffrey Arnold
The hard part was getting to the port. The embarkment was delayed because of weather, so we had to try to get to the port during peak afternoon traffic on a Monday. That part was a nightmare. Not the port's fault, though.
Overall, the boarding process was efficient and smooth. When we returned, we were easily able to find a taxi to get us back to where we needed to be.
Tracey Hanwell
I've been cruising out of Baltimore for several years and I've been happy with the steady improvements at this property; however, it is still a warehouse with a long counter and rope lines. It is clean and they perk it up with beautiful pictures. The employees are happy and work hard to make us feel like we are already on vacation. Even so, I feel like cargo should be shipping out here, not people.
The service is quick. Parking is plentiful. For about the price of parking, you can stay at nearby hotels and get a ride to the port. Do this if it is winter and you are concerned about snow. Your hotel will help you shovel out your car. At the port you'll probably be on your own.
I would like to see the inside of the building remodeled for better ambiance and parking lot restrooms with hand washing instead of port a potties.
Andrea Taylor
Terminal was easy to find from Greyhound. They were efficient and fast with the boarding process. They even have special accommodations for people suffering with disabilities. The staff walk you to the front where you're allowed to have a seat and wait to be called. Once your all set someone from their delightful staff brings a wheelchair and take you abroad.
joyce conley
I live in Maryland so it was very convenient for me and my husband to drive to the terminal, the best part was getting off the cruise and drive home, no airport hassles. We will be taking more cruises from Maryland.
Belinda Harrison
Wish there was an easier way to board a ship. Too long an entry. When we returned the young man who assisted my husband who was in a wheelchair left me at customs with the passports. I did not know where to go I exited because no one would help me they kept saying keep moving. Instead of go this way to pick up your luggage meanwhile the young man took my husband to the luggage. My husband couldn't get the luggage. I was now outside and they wouldn't let me back in. The young man said well I can't get your luggage. After I exploded on him for rushing away and leaving me. He took my husband back and got someone to help get the luggage. Not a very pleasant return. One young lady was helpful. She listened to me. Let me come back in to assist as needed. Everyone else acted like they didn't care and no one directed me towards the luggage pickup and if there were signs, I was so busy trying to find the man with my husband in a wheelchair that I missed them and no one would help me with that either except this one Caucasian lady. And I was very thankful to her.
Jamie Oswalt
This was my first time being here. It is very hectic when you arrive. There is no signs on where to go, just rude employees. Positive side: when you get inside the port, it is clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lines seam to move smoothly considering the amount of people.
Diary of a Mad Dad
The staff was friendly and it was fairly easy to park and unload luggage. We left our car there for a week with no problems. The terminal appeared to be pretty secure and we'll organized. It is right off of the interstate and fairly easy to find.
Cheryl Mouland
Everyone in the terminal was smiling, pleasant and helpful. They are quick at getting you on board your ship and they're a lot of fun too. They were whooping it up with us as we walked on to the gangway and they all had an awesome sense of humor!
G. Steve Arnold
Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. This is an easy terminal to get in and out. Guest processing is efficient and quick. Official parking is reasonably priced and close by and we believe is preferrable to the long term parking + shuttle service packages offered by area hotels.
F KELLEY
Slow to get your car parked. A lot of questions being asked and then you have to walk to the other side depending on if you check and tag your bag or properly or not. Fairly nice staff. Just know that once you go out you can't go back in and the only bathroom is a porta-potty unit in the parking lot.
Andre Lopes Quintas
place within easy reach, entrance of the parking lot disorganized, we hope almost an hour in the queue to Park, rate is 15 dollars per day and parking is discovered and in winter can be uncomfortable. within the terminal care is with the company cruise in our case Carnival. despite terms checked in and scheduled time we look forward more than 30 minutes for shipment. Then arrive early and enjoy the ship
Donald Morrison
This is a small terminal but suitable for the limited number of cruise ships that dock there. The process to arrive, drop off baggage and check in was reasonably efficient.
The parking is visible from the ship.
The only complaint would be a lack of signage so that one might understand the process.
If you are cruising on Carnival do yourself a favor and get their "Faster to the Fun" pass. It really expedites the boarding process.
Platinum Goldens
The workers are great and keep everything organized and flowing the best they can. But there either are not enough workers in general or the area is too small to have so many people and cars. This was by far the longest it has ever taken to park before a cruise (just over two hours).
Tinman
Well oiled machine. It was a very good experience getting on and off the ship for our cruise.
Tracy Soltesz
We were so nervous about having to wait around for a long time with a toddler in the height of the summer heat. This cruise terminal was fast, efficient, well kept, and most importantly all of the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We were through security and onto the ship so fast we barely even saw the inside of the terminal. The return debarkation was equally as fast and efficient. The only difficulty was figuring out where to have friends pick us up. Drop off was super easy, but pick up was a little confusing. Now that we know, I'm sure it'll be no problem in the future.
steve welby
Wonderful cruise, ship. Carnival's employees are excellent
Profv Duelistsbds
Here we have large parking area. Big cruise ports with the view of many buildings. 15 minutes to reach the snack shops. Passport and Visa checking in the entrance. Cars and trucks move nonstop everyday. That's what you see when you see the roads. On the right side, trucks parking. On the left side tall buildings. The terminal absorbs the energy from the sun. Your luggage will be handled by porter before you park your car. New york looks more beautiful than this city. The price of snacks in the shop near this place is pretty cheap. Free wifi. Fast service because many people work here. Have fun!
Jeff Lupo
Kind of slow in the embarkation process. We had priority boarding on Carnival Pride and people who had regular boarding got on quicker. Took us 45 minutes. No bad in the big scope of things but should have taken 20 minutes tops.
S Gemini
Stars are for the convenience. It's convenient if you want to save money by skipping the plane to Florida to cruise but that's about it. They really should have built this port somewhere else to accommodate and invite the larger newer ships. It is disorganized and the wait time is ridiculous. Seems like they coral people in a small wait area like cattle and made you wish you would have took the plane Florida instead. They should take notes from the Port of Miami, their terminal is so much better than this one
Ryan Shiffler
Convenient location and easy to park.
kathleen costello
Easy to get to. Easy to park. Cruise terminal personnel -from entry into terminal area to baggage handlers and ultimately to check-in personnel have always been professional and friendly. Have sailed from Baltimore At least 10 times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend this port for embarkation!
Farrah Kelley
Kind of a weird parking situation depending on if you have your luggage tag or not. I would expect a little bit better system for major city. Also once you leave out the building note that you cannot come back in after your cruise so you will be using the bathroom outside in the parking lot in the porta potty. At least it's a normal size one with the sink in it.
Katrina Jones
Organized with friendly port workers. Convenient on-site parking reasonably priced.
Sam G
Got us on our ship in a reasonable time, but could have been faster, and could have had a better dedicated lane for drop offs from the taxi. As it was, we ended up waiting in a parking line (with the meter running) before the taxi drop off split from the rest of traffic.
David Gomillion
It was useful for getting on and off the boat. It was not a particularly nice location, nor were the people overly helpful, but it was nice that they provided a place to drop off baggage before parking the car so we didn't have to haul it to the terminal building. It was very much appreciated :-)
Frank Caputo
Fairly easy to park (not the cheapest, but right there and fenced in). Buildings are very airconditioned which is great since it it so humid in that area of Maryland. People are very friendly and helpful at this terminal. All is connected internally so once you are in the building, you never go back outside into the heat/weather.
Stephen Keesler
If you live in Maryland this is the way to take a vacation. The staff is great and makes the check in progress easy. I only wish we could get different ships in. They need to make the Key Bridge a little higher so we can get larger ships in.
Paul Sardella
First time visiting for Carnival Cruise. Easy check in / bag drop off. Parking very convenient, right off US 95. Don't show up before 11:00 AM, they will not let you hang out until they reopen the parking lot from the arriving cruise.
Chris Reed
Easy in and out when cruising never a problem with the security of your car.
D Mize
Didnโt have any issues the few times I have parked there. Parking is affordable and I have access to my vehicle right off the Cruise ship. I donโt have to wait for any shuttles/taxis Iโm able to go on my way. Inside the terminal when theyโre checking you in is a slow process.
Hansel Fritzgerald
Very efficient. However there was one luggage worker that I asked the address of the building and he told me to go ask someone inside. I was on the phone with my driver giving him directions to the area. Thought that was very unprofessional. How do you not know where you work, or were you just being a jerk. If not for that would give 5 stars.
D Robinson
Staff was friendly for the most part. No long waits except for the shuttles upon return. Would be really helpful if they had more seating for folks waiting on rides.
Ken Aull
Flying, especially to Florida, is not our favorite activity. We like cruising out of here. For us it's an hour drive, they take the check luggage out of the car, then I park in front of the ship and walk on. On return, we pick up the check luggage, roll out to the car and drive home in time for lunch. None of the normal pre and post cruise stress.
Kim Metzler
Dropped off and picked up my parents at the Baltimore cruise port and it was incredibly organized and efficient! We were able to park for free, walk a few feet as they embarked and help them with their luggage. Even a public restroom for those waiting to pick up. It was a $4 fee to cross the bridge but the cruise port was one of the best that I have ever experienced.
Core Monitoring
Clean climate controlled terminal for cruise ship embarkation. Very well laid out and organized. The location of where taxi pick you up needs to be better situated because once you leave the terminal you cannot go back inside therefore you could be stuck in the cold (as my family was) waiting on a car. Not a good thing in sub zero temps of Baltimore.
Dan Ohler
Will be back Jan 3 2021 if not sooner. Great terminal. Fast getting on and off ship. Haven't had any problems. Parking was easy and secure.
Jason Murphy
Parking for a cruise is simple and not too expensive. Parking for a few hours to visit folks on the boats is easy and free. Most staff are helpful but a few are useless and rude. Just keep asking different people for help and you'll get it. Never had any real issues here.
Deb Warfield
Very easy to get to and very quick to get on the ship.....
Benjamin Klatt
A bit difficult to leave by walking but a smooth service. Getting to the inner harbour by feet is about a half hour. At least the second half of the walk offers great views to the water
Gwen Lutes
After leaving out of a few different Cruise ports, Maryland was a disappointment. It was brutally cold the day we were there and it was disorganized with two sets of doors remaining closed and only one door open that was trying to herd priority and handicapped patrons around the rest of us that we're outside far too long. Even an external enclosure to keep the wind away and the people warm. It was quite a lineup with chaos all the way to the parking lot and nobody seemed to know what they were doing. People with boarding passes time 2 hours later we're getting taken before us and there was no Rhyme or Reason to it. Also the infrastructure of the way you get in and out of the terminal seems like it can be designed better. Cars that are trying to leave are trying to cut through cars that are trying to get in which is backing up the interstate.
karen mosley
about as organized as you could expect considering there's a boat debarking with over 2,000 ppl onboard with only an hour or two between loading new passengers. My first cruise there was a fire drill on the boat. No boarding of new passengers for over 2 hours & it was chaotic. Once processing begins it runs smoothly.
Patrick Layser
Took the Carnival Pride for a seven day cruise into the Caribbean. Had a wonderful time. Left the car at the terminal for the week. Personnel at the terminal were friendly and the check-in was efficient.
CE24 26
Everything moved smoothly, and even with the long line to get to the cruise ship, we were in line for only about 30-45 minutes, which was nothing compared to the hundreds of people there. Workers were quick and efficient. I was there for the Carnival Pride cruise to the Bahamas.
me jones
Cruise Maryland Terminal is very easy to get to right off I-95 exit 55 and has made great improvement in boarding and custom clearance. The embarking and disembark process is very smooth and fast. There shopping at exit 55 which is also easy to on and off. Lexington market is only 15 minutes from the port.
Jim Loux
Easy entry and easy exit
John Simpson
While the terminal serves it's purpose as a cruise port and the staff runs efficiently, the roads and general location surrounding the terminal is not great. Also, if you miss your exit you're forced to pay a hefty highway toll. Great terminal, bad location.
Stan Bright
Good time on and off ship
Dawn McCray
Easy to find, easy to navigate, well staffed. Crowded at cruise time, of course, but move passengers through quickly. Been there many times, and no complaints.
Joellen Jarrett
Friendly enough but I checked in with a brand new, 3 pc set of hard side luggage. When we finally received our bags on board the ship, I found the largest bag damaged beyond repair. One corner of the bag was completely cracked! I'm not sure what the baggage handlers were doing with the bags but it didnt appear to me that any care had been given. There wasnt even a note on the bag, to tell me it had been damaged. If you leave out of B'more, just beware of overly aggressive BHs!!!!!!
Danielle Van Doren
Easy to drive into, affordable parking comparatively.
Evangeline Collins-Robinson
Easy access with plenty of convenient parking. A very professional staff that are attentive and provide great service with a pleasant spirit. A well organized operation that manages the travels for so many and makes it seem effortless
Steve Tucker
The embarkation flow is a little different than any other cruise port I've been to but it works for the space they have. I was able to walk off the ship and be to my car in about 30 minutes.
Chaseโs World
The workers were very nice. Just don't take a cruise from a cold destination. You cannot enjoy the Lido deck in the winter time.
Frank M
Very easy access and quick check-in. Arrival through immigration wa smooth also.
Thai Hung Nguyen
It is a convenient cruise port for Northeast region. Cruises coming out from here are usually Royal Caribbean or Carnival that are sailing for 7 nights. Outdoor parking costs money but convenient to walk straight to the terminal. The staffs here are very friendly. They welcome you to the terminal and direct you accordingly.
Amanda Stephenson
I visited the terminal in December for my first cruise ever. We boarded the Carnival Pride for the Bahamas. I don't have any other port to compare it to, but it seems to have moved very quickly! Very quickly!!!
Eric Kennedy
Well organized and clean terminal. Staff did a great job of herding the cattle. We had a bit of a delay in boarding the ship but that was due to the Coast Guard flexing their muscle because, well, they can. They don't care about anyone's schedule. Instead of getting to the point, the reason that are there in the first place, they dilly dally and harass Hector because he can't find his visa amongst all the letters from his young children back home.
Kari Atkinson
Absolutely love going out of Baltimore. Very easy, not much congestion. Great place to start the vacation. Most of the staff of friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again :)
Dave Talcik
We have sailed out of many ports. Baltimore has the most efficient and convenient.
The personnel there are pleasant and helpful. It may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but it is clean, comfortable, convenient and organized.
Paul Kerswill
A little outdated and can get crowded. Arrive early to check in. Friendly staff. If it's hot or cold outside, use the Passenger Waiting Area - a mobile home-like building in the parking area. It's better than waiting outside.
Tom Sawyer
Very quick moving queue to get you on the boat, and the members working there basically walk you through any paperwork. They made getting on our cruise really simple and stress free!
Leslie White
We used to love cruising out of Baltimore. Unfortunately, they have the same shows & activities & we've seen them all. We cruised several times a year for the past 10 years. I think we will take a break from it & if we do start cruising again, we will fly out of FL. The crowd has gotten loud & obnoxious, with way too many kids. I love kids, but you would think you were on a Disney Cruise. People also think a cruise ship is a baby sitter while the parents drink & gamble.
Brandi Schimpf
Under construction, so get there early. Parking at the terminal was easy and cost effective. $105 for the week in October. Since we had our own car we could carry our stuff off and leave right away.
Lisa Marie Maples
Favorite cruise terminal by far. Only terminal I know where you clear customs without your luggage so lines are easy and quicker moving. Highly recommend. Only tricky part was the Uber address was off for the driver from the google maps.
Julie Caputo
We took a cruise and had older people with us, one who is handicapped. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Everything went smoothly and we were very happy with the service.
Sean Banks
Fairly smooth entry to the ship. We learned a lot from the experience. The staff could have been a little friendlier which is why this is 4 not 5 stars. I would travel through the Maryland Terminal again to take a cruise.
Casey DeFreece
Helpful and nice staff. All the checking in and processing got finished rather quickly and efficiently. If you have a choice to pick this as your terminal I would suggest it.
Kewanee Smith
Friendly and helpful staff..waving & directing everyone onto the property. Getting off and being clear about "which way to go!" is a terror. Make the wrong choice....if you are "directionally challenged" and you face paying a Toll Booth!!! Lol Wont do that again.
lloyd williams
This was by far the easiest cruise terminal for embarkation/debarkation. It's a shame only two cruise lines use it!
The Traveler
This is an easy place to get onto a ship and parking is very close by, but it is not exactly cheap. Overall the location is clean and very accessible so I would highly recommend taking a ship from this location but really wish they would not take advantage of cars parked in the lot and charge us $15 per day.
Kristina Gibbons
I've been on several cruises out of several different ports. This one was fast, efficient and uncomplicated. Embarkation was easy, and debarkation and customs a breeze!
Lisa Davis
Cruise terminal staff was amazing, incredibly helpful with passengers that need assistance. Parking is very close, and very smooth drop off procedures (I have done both) Highly recommend this port!!
Victor Goertz
Fairly easy to get to however no exit sign for the cruise terminal from the overpass. Don't look for east McComas street exit as there isn't one even though this is the address for the Carnival terminal. Take the first exit after coming out of the tunnel off of the overpass.
Chris Claypoole
Friendly, efficient staff. Things run very well. I need help walking longer distances, and they ushered me into a short cut that saved me a lot of back pain.
Deborah Austin
Easiest, stress free embarkment and disembarkment I have ever experienced. They have their acts together. Security and customs we're thorough and non intrusive. I would recommend traveling from Baltimore anytime.
Ken Voland
Friendly and helpful staff!
Phil G
Cruise Maryland Terminal has been a great addition over the years for travellers living in or around the MD/DC/DE/VA area. No longer resigned to begin their relaxing cruise with a hurried flight to places like Ft. Lauderdale in order to board ship far from home, being able to park the car in a secure lot and walk to the terminal check-in area nearby is beyond convenient. The staff inside the terminal are friendly and efficient, moving people through the security check and the sign-in counters rather quickly. The helpful people I've encountered every time make the start of a vacation nearly effortless.
Travellers have a choice to either check their bags in at the terminal and have them brought on board and to their staterooms, or for those who pack lightly, they can bring them on board themselves. In the latter case, time is saved getting to their rooms and set up instead of waiting for everything to be transported onto the ship and to their designated locations. On some Cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, when time to depart ship, taking all your bags and items with you instead of repeating the process of the crew moving them will get you on land and checked out much quicker. Any dealings with customs has been streamlined recently, with only an oral declaration needed rather than paperwork. Another reason to use Maryland as your home port.
The terminal is a quick exit off of I-95, just south of the tunnel entrance. Be ready to exit in the right lane when heading north, as it happens rather quickly. When coming south, it's the first exit after exiting the tunnel. It's not hard to see, your ship will dominate the view. ;)
Kudos to Maryland and the Port of Baltimore for bringing cruise lines into our state. If there is a downside, it's the port is unable to handle the huge "megaships" that are becoming popular. There are still lots of options, however, and something for everyone.
Brian Poynter
Quick service and super friendly staff
Trenton Wise
While it may look overwhelming, all employees that help lead you in the direction you need to go are very helpful. The process is nice and smooth and extremely difficult to mess up on.
Mark Wilkinson
We were there for a wedding, which was handled extremely well. Nice ship. Unfortunately I did not sail. My daughter and her new husband did and had a fantastic week.
Mark Fisher
Not the typical Cruise Terminal experience. The staff is friendly enough but a bit pushy. As a RCCL Diamond member, this isn't our first rodeo. There are a few things (service wise) that are lacking here.
I suppose considering it isn't a super busy port, some things can be overlooked. But, this is not cruising in 1989. They need to update!
Lin Feng
Very easy to get to and plenty of parking spots. The security checks were efficient and fairly fast. Wish all cruises can be this easy.
Allie B
Left for a Carnival cruise through here. Because it took them so long to debark the previous cruise, they kept telling us to leave and come back because they didn't have room for parking. Most of the parking staff, with a couple of exceptions, were in foul moods. Luggage was not handled lightly! Long term parking rates (as in the the duration of the cruise), were high. It would have cost us 1/5 of the rate if we left our vehicle at the hotel!
Rodney Bowman
Easy to access. If you like to drive to your cruise ship, convenient for certain cruises. Reasonable parking, $15.00 per day during my last cruise.
Michael Arthur Taylor Jr. (Michael Arthur Taylor Jr.)
Taylor's family Buddyman Everybody's pal Adventures our First Cruise
Sunita A
The city has mandated flat cab rate for $30 from cruise port to airport regardless of number of people. 15-20 min drive on holiday and early morning
kathy mccauley
Such an awesome Cruz can't wait till I can go back again. The ship workers were amazing the food was awesome so much class on one boat. You can't miss out on the fun
Brandon Williams
Our parking experience at the terminal went well overall, plenty of space to park and rather easy to navigate around. However, it did seem a little pricey for parking, although I'm sure it is not much cheaper elsewhere.
Gary Gilmore
Typical cruise terminal on Baltimore Maryland's waterfront. Approximately a 15 minute ride from downtown Baltimore's beautiful waterfront. Taxis are roughly $30 per car each way. Nothing particularly remarkable about any of that part of our journey. Previous trips have brought new to Baltimore's downtown waterfront with its shops and restaurants. This area is quite beautiful and a nice trip in and of itself.
Kirk Heflin
Very efficient in getting you onto the ship and loading luggage. A pleasant surprise. Parking is expensive, but not any more than other options, around $15 a day.
Ron Tulk
Werr told we couldn't bring our water through and made us dump it even though we are diabetic and havs serious dry mouth. We proceeded to fill up the container with fountain water and it tasted like sewer water, it was undrinkable. You are the only airport in all my years of travel that has made us dump out water. All others just test it and let you keep it, not this guy. His answer was simple "you are in Baltimore now" in a rude manner.
HALLIE LUTZ
Sooooo, convenient. I left this terminal to go on a cruise, on the Carnival Pride. The people at this terminal were phenomenal. Everything was soooo smooth and wonderful. I will do this again. Loved it!!
Julia Piper
Good experience overall. The boat was late coming in. Therefore, the terminal became quite full but was well organized. People explained the cruise process well.
Ellen Fisher
Even though you're excited to be going on your cruise the long waits in not only coming into the terminal but checking in for the cruise are not desirable. We were in line for 2 hours.
Anthony B
Lines are slow they tell us to be here between 2 & 230 we stood in line till after 3pm to board the ship... But it was still better than the Airport & all the ppl were friendly...!
TERRY Reynolds
Easy access, safe, and professional service. ๐ โฆ
Isabelle Ku
As far as these things go, the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. That being said, if you're new to cruise and airport terminals, you can still expect a lot of waiting, standing, and walking
Stanley Heard
Grest staff friendly
Sharon Born
We stayed at Fairfield Inn White Marsh. They provided transportation to the pier. Walked in before 10 AM to check in on ship shortly after. Very quick courteous staff.
Sandra Bowman
Carnival Pride is a nice ship to be on and it is so easily accessible. However, getting out of the parking lot..a little confusing. More signs would be helpful.
Andre' Bullock Sr.
Well Organized fast Friendly Check in
Michelle Coney
Fast, friendly service for enchantment of the seas
Rosa M. Rivera
It will be much better if they let pass cars one line after the other and not staying with same lines for longer periods. That's why some people get upset.
Mike Collins
Great place to cruise out from. Very easy to get to from I95..
Darius Glemza
Better than standing in line at BWI, but a line none the less. Spent 30min going through the bag check and checking in, so not horrible.

I've left for cruises twice from here(carnival). Both times the process as very slow. The terminal itself is nice and workers are friendly.

The terminal is fine and getting on and off is quick and efficient. The only reason I have given a low score is there are no shops etc. Around it
George DePew

Joe Christofaro

Pat Shaulis
They have it together pretty well. Boarding is pretty organized and that is nice. Plus you are there to get on a cruise ship.
