My daughter (8) had her ears pierced a few weeks ago and it was a great experience! Jamie was wonderful and explained the process so well. She was also very funny and told my daughter jokes to make her laugh so she wouldn’t be so tense. I particularly appreciated the time she spent ensuring correct earring placement. Jamie performed the piercing quickly and precisely and there were no tears at all! We live on the Peninsula and it was worth the drive. I highly recommend Finder’s Keepers!

The place was adorable to walk in to and they do walk ins which makes the business even better. Usually you have to book an appointment but they are definitely a top 3 choice when it comes to professional. I don’t know her name but she was the only one in there and she was so good at her work. I would definitely come back and ask for her to do my cartilage. She made me feel comfortable and was amazing today. 12/10

I was looking for the best place to get my little girl ears pierced and with no doubt I found that place. Jamie was so sweet she explained everything to me from how she was going to do the procedure until how to take care of my baby piercings. The after care products are a must have super good for healing. Love the service, loved the staff the place was super clean and she used everything sterile and new. I’ve had several piercings and my go to has been Finders Keepers for the last 3 years! Both locations are always clean and have knowledgeable staff that are friendly and professional. Today I visited the Norfolk location (btw love the new location, very spacious). Lee was nice and helpful, she helped me pick out new dermal jewelry. Jamie is the best. Very careful and patient. She went above and beyond, she cautiously took out 2 piercings that I got overseas and she made sure my 2 jewelry changes were tight and painless.

Finders Keepers is the only place I go to for piercings, they are always so professional and friendly. Most of all they make getting piercings much less intimidating. I went in to get a daith piercings and I left with an amazing daith AND an awesome eyebrow piercing. I needed a little nudge and some advice on placement and options and Jamie could not have been more helpful. She was so friendly and professional and really made the whole experience wonderful. I went in to get my snake eyes pierced. I originally got it done last year but apparently it was done incorrectly so I had to take it out. Jamie was very knowledgeable, professional & fast. I also purchased 2 new nose rings that she changed out for me. The shop was super clean which is a plus! There were other customers coming in but I still don’t feel she rushed. Everyone was attended to one way or the other. Definitely recommend.

I recently had to have a MRI done recently and they had plastic pieces to use until I finished the scan. Awesome. I didn't want to have issue since the piercing was so new. I came in tonight (Norfolk location) to change out my nipple jewelry. Unbeknownst to me, the current jewelry I had in was too small/short hence the reason I was having issues with pain in my left nipple. The jewelry I wanted is currently unavailable in the bar length that I need but Kimberly accommodated me with bars that I can wear for now until the correct size bars come in. Kimberly went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied even with having to wait for the one I want! I’ve been coming to Finders Keepers for years and has always received excellent service!

I was visiting Virginia in October 2022 and was having an issue with a recent piercing, which I got in my home state of NJ. I called the store closest to my hotel in Chesapeake. I had previously gotten a few piercings done in that store over the years but the person who did my previous piercings was no longer working there and I needed help! I spoke with Jamie and explained my problem. She was understanding & considerate of my problem and asked me when I could come in so she could take a look at it and see if she could help. I jumped in my car and headed right over. After checking it out, she asked how long had I been having the issue. I told her since the piercing had been done. One side was healing great but the left side was still very tender and painful and felt like the area was becoming hard. She measured the distance of both piercings and the area of the piercings. As she worked in me, she explained what she saw and what she was doing, showing me the depth & length between the two. Once done she explained that the NJ piercer had pierced me unevenly and had gone too far in on my left side. She had also pierced me with the wrong size rings, gauge & diameter. No wonder I was in so much pain!! She then suggested that I should let the left side close up and have it pierced again once I was ready. Jamie showed me her inventory for the proper gauge and put the right sized ring in on my right side, giving me the old rings with the matching one I was wearing. I told her that when it was closed I would return to have her do the piercing correctly. Fast forward to Wed. 1/18/23. I returned to Virginia and called the shop. I was informed that Jamie was working at the Norfolk shop so I called that store and reminded her of who I was. She remembered me and told me I could come in that afternoon. It’s been 3 days since the piercing. I didn’t have issues the day I got it and it is healing up very nicely! I will gladly travel the 9 hours to Virginia and I WILL NOT go to anyone else for my future work. Jamie is knowledgeable, informative and has GREAT customer service skills! She is definitely an asset to Finders Keepers!

I got my cartilage pierced by a neighbor shop who used cheap jewelry leaving me with two huge bumps on my ear. I went into Finder’s Keeper’s and the lovely piercer there walked me to through what needed to be done. She removed the bumps and switched out my jewelry. She also walked me through the best cleaning process to ensure that the bumps won’t return. From now on I will be getting all jewelry and piercings from Finder’s Keepers.

My sister and I came in together to get piercings. The ladies were nice enough, but to me there was a clear difference. They took more care in explaining things to my sister than to me. Luckily enough I paid attention to what was being told to her and have had piercings done before. Otherwise, I would have had no idea what was going on. My most major complaint is the cost. Never in my entire experience have I ever paid over $70 for one piercing. Definitely, not over $70 for a basic nostril piercing. Cute space, nice enough people, but for the cost they do not ever have to worry about me coming back.

I went here on Friday the 9th. I got both of my daith's pierced. I was there a bit early for my appointment. (Which you can book online). Being early was not a problem it gave time to look at jewelry selections. If you are swapping jewelry you can bring your own. If you are being pierced you need to purchase in store for sanitary reasons. They have wide selections in several types of metals. All varying in prices. They will do what they can to help you stay in a budget don't be afraid to speak up about that. Kimberly and Laycie helped out and they were terrific. Getting both daiths done at the same time they were worried it would be too much. So they wanted to make sure I got up slow and that I took as much time as I needed. And I am a natural bleeder. I bleed easier than a plump Florida orange being squeezed for juice. And they were super awesome about not only cleaning my ears but everything else! So you can be sure the place is clean. I had a piercing dinner at their other location so I knew when I had more done I wanted to make the trip down here. Gps puts you in the back alley back behind the library. You end up circling the whole building. You may be better off putting in one of the stores next to it for the address, or even Walmart and driving in front of Walmart to the front of the strip mall nex5 door. But if you find yourself in the back alley and your confused don't fret you're in the right area, circle round to the front and your good to go. Everyone will make you feel at home with the cheerful bold pink and black decor and the same bold cheerful personalities. If you are considering piercings, remember these are permanent body modifications so go where you will be treated kindly, and with respect. And at the same time they know what they are doing! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else unless it's was a surgeon.

I had my toddlers ears pierced here today.. I did not have an appointment when I came in and I was told that it would be half an hour until the piercer gets there but it was close to an hour when she actually arrived which I didn’t mind. Courtney the piercer was delightful, she was cheerful, sympathetic towards us and everything, she was great! I took off two stars because of the woman up front, she was passive aggressive and sarcastically nice, kept calling me “honey” in the most sarcastic way when I asked questions and just had a look on her face. Besides that, I would definitely go back for the piercer but wouldn’t really want to encounter the front desk woman again.

I got a piercing here about an hour ago. As far as customer service, the first two employees I encountered were awesome. The young male at the front and the female piercer. There was a third piercer who was an older woman who came in a bit late. The older woman is the person who ended up doing my piercing for me and the first thing she does after introducing herself his ask if my hair is real. That’s not something that’s appropriate in this day and age. We went on with the piercing and it was a bit of a struggle for the piercer. She remained calm which I appreciate and I assume was to keep me calm as well. I got a nose piercing and it did bleed after a few tries and I was assured that this type of thing hadn’t happened before. (Whether it’s true or not, I don’t know). It was pretty painful and a bit worrisome for a moment but I did go through with the piercing and I like the look and location of it. All in all it wasn’t terrible but some thought needs to go into how we speak to people. You never know who’s watching or who’s reviewing!

Unfortunately we weren’t seen for our piercings until about 2:15 due to someone in front of us picking out jewelry (but we were greeted and they kept conversation until then). My sisters piercing is perfect! Very beautiful. Mine unfortunately is kind of crooked on my nose and it’s first entry point is lower than the exit point, making my Piercing a little crooked. The piercing is also much larger and seems to be placed kind of low as the piercing is constantly touching my upper lip. They did amazing with my daughters piercing! Super fast and sweet. I had read all prior reviews before coming and was a little disappointed after my own experience.

I read several shop reviews of local parlors and felt most comfortable with this one. We made an appointment online. We were very nervous before going in, but everything went smooth. The shop is clean and welcoming. The receptionist was super friendly and outgoing so we immediately felt comfortable. We were signed in quickly. Jordan was our piercer. He was very pleasant, calm, and patient with us. The visit was quick, but thorough. We were also able to get my sister's nose pierced without an appointment which again it was a smooth process. I brought my teenager (13) in for a nose piercing. Over the phone I was told exactly what documents needed to bring for her as a minor. All of our paperwork was checked when we got there. That I could get my kid pierced in a clean & professional shop was huge. She'd been wanting it done and few shops locally will do it. The staff was friendly, the area was very clean, good aftercare directions were given, and my kid left pierced and happy.

TL;DR: Definite 5 stars. Very professional, very clean, and the guy that did my lobe was some nerd who had a Shenron tattoo and a couple other weeb tats. Great guy, great taste in anime, knew what he was doing and I hardly felt a thing. Managed to fix a piercing that was messed up three times. It's healed up beautifully about three months later. I waited about 5-6 months before posting a review. The reason I waited to post a review: this is the 4th time I pierced this same hole (left lobe). A friend did both ears the first time but the left hole never quite healed right. I let it heal over and waited a while before going to VB Ink; over the span of a couple years i had them pierce it TWICE and it never healed right, no matter what I did. It was also hella crooked the second time. I went to FK by recommendation of a classmate and had it done a 4th time. I barely felt a pinch and their selection of titanium (I think almost all of their stuff is titanium, no cheap non-hypoallergenic metals) is pretty solid. They'll anodize it for you in store and let you choose your color(s). So, 5 months after getting the piercing, it's healed up so perfectly. Dude even managed to pierce through/cut out a majority of the scar tissue from the last 3 botched jobs. In a month I'll be able to start stretching. 10/10 experience, great staff, worth the money.

I had a facial dermal done that is really trying to be difficult as my body keeps trying to push it out making it pop out on the top. Instead of being quick to just say let's just take it out they have readjusted it every time I have came back (which has been 3 or 4 times now)no questions asked. Jordan actually tried something a little different this time to increase the chances of it taking. Thank you all and I will be back soon. I went in to get my daith pierced and I was beyond scared for the pain. When I walked in for my appointment I was greeted immediately and helped. Dak not only helped me pick out the perfect piece for my ear but also talked me through the whole process. He showed me what he was going to do every tool and walked me through the whole process of the actual piercing process. A few days after I was expecting bleeding and I was concerned. I wrote to dak where he got back to me within a timely manner and walked me through the whole process of what to expect and how to stop it. They are friendly and helpful and will take the time to talk with you if you need any questions answered. I've had piercings from Shannon, Jessica, and Sarah and they are all awesome. I even had trouble with a couple of my piercings and I went in. They looked at them and cleaned them at no charge. They even put a longer barbell on my industrial to accommodate for excess swelling FREE. The only bad reviews I hear are about one person at their Norfolk location. Don't judge the whole company by one bad apple.

so I stopped in here on a whim to get my ears pierced (2nd hole) and the ladies here were very kind and informative. I've never had my ears pierced with the needle before, just the gun, and they told me what would happen, showed me where they were about to put the hole through, and were very fast. We popped in on a Tuesday in the middle of the day and the manager patiently helped us find the perfect navel ring for my smaller than average piercing. I've never seen such a large variety of body jewelry in a single offline location! If you need an odd-sized length/diameter/gauge and you want it in a fun color, check out their huge selection of anodized titanium! I've never been a huge fan of captive ball rings, but this one was perfect!

It would've been a five star because everytime I go in there, everyone is friendly and very helpful. I went in this past Tuesday to get restraints put in my two helix piercings and my lip piercings. I was not happy afterwards because I never once asked the girl to take out my industrial, 2 middle cartilages, 2 bottom lobes. She did that on her own. Then after I paid for everything, I asked her to do restraints on my middle cartilages seeing as how they're not only but a year ish old. She gave an attitude but did them anyway. My vertical labret is only 3 months old and I told her this, she put in a restraint that was too short and too tight, seeing as how my piercing isnt fully healed. Had to go to another place to get them to take it out for me and put my original jewelry back in for me. Not only that but she charged me for two labret restraints when I only have one. She was clearly new there and was there by herself when I got there around 1030am Tuesday morning. She was helpful but acted like she didnt want to be there. I didnt catch her name. This was at the one in Norfolk.

I myself am sensitive even to surgical steel so knowing Finders Keepers has Titanium as well as 14k Gold made me feel at ease. Dak was amazing at explaining the piercing process as well as what all the tools were and their role in my piercing. The after care seemed simple enough but Dak even reassured I could reach him on his professional Instagram if I had any questions. I will most definitely refer friends and be back myself. I love this place, I've gone here for every piercing I've ever got. I think I have 13 now. Jordan has done each and every one of them. I will not let anyone but him poke holes in me, the girls that work in there do a great job too. I have friends that will only let the girls pierce them. It's a preference thing, but they are all fantastic. Every time I have a question or concern they are there to answer it with the knowledge you would expect. Very professional and my biggest thing is cleanliness and this shop is amazing at it. I will not go to another piercing place!! Loveeee Finders Keepers!!!

This was my first time going here for a piercing. I got my tragis and cartilage done by the same piercer(Jordan). The place was clean and there was a very wide selection of jewelery to choose from. The store also has really great specials if you sign up for their automated text notifications. The piercer was very friendly and answered my questions. I am overall very satisfied with my experience and I plan to go back for any other piercings.

So of course when my daughter wanted to get her navel and nose pierced recently, we went back to him. So I did a walk-in at the chesapeake location today. I had my nipples pierced years ago and hadn't worn any jewellery in them in about 6years. So I needed them stretched back to 14g. jewellery size. Michelle was very gentle considering all my "Owws" and she even custom bent the jewellery for me. I did not feel rushed or that i was just another number at all!! They were very patient and answered all my questions. It was just the best painful experience I could have had. I highly recommend these shops.

The ladies are pretty awesome! Had my piercing done there and they were patient and talked me thru everything. Only downside is I needed help taking out my jewelry for an MRI. The kid there stated he could take it out and put in "holders" or whatever its called. It hurt like hell for him to take it out and then he couldn't put the plastic ones in. He tried to put my piercing back in and Im pretty sure something went wrong. lol He was extremely nice but that was a terrible experience.
