I can’t say enough good things about Vicious Vanity Ink. First, all of their artist do amazing work, because the owner has high standards and won’t hire anyone with subpar work. Secondly, Fernando was my artist and his abilities are amazing. My experience here was fantastic and I will be back for a lot more tattoo work. Also, you get what you pay for so if you’re looking for a budget tattoo, go elsewhere these guys do quality work and deserve to be paid what they’re worth.

Priscilla did a fantastic job! My sister and I live a few hours apart, and wanted to get similar tattoos, it took a few days to line up an appointment but Priscilla was always kind and patient while my sister and I changed our minds a dozen times. Their shop was immaculate and had some very comfy chairs for the waiting area. We brought my young niece and the ladies there were talking to her and making jokes, it was really nice for them to include her in the experience. Priscillas work is so fantastic, her line work is so fine and precise that it really gives the appearance of movement and doesn’t overwhelm the delicate nature of the piece. I honestly couldn’t be happier. Their customer service was impeccable, their prices were fair, and the end tattoo looks great! I love that it’s a female owned and operated business and that they are family oriented. I highly recommend this shop!

Christina turned an old Celtic seahorse I had into a beautiful piece that we will be incorporating into a sleeve! Her line work is perfect and communication was great. The facility was clean. I based my selection of this studio based off the reviews and I was not disappointed. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. After looking at several other local tattoo shops and not being too impressed, I was driving down hwy 60 and seen a truck with the Vicious Vanity Ink logo/wrap and decided what the heck, might as well call them. I AM SO GLAD I DID. When I stopped by the shop, there were a few artist there and when I described what I wanted, they recommended that I speak to Jose “a.k.a Chepolin”, who specializes in black and white. This immediately told me that all the artist at the shop has the clients best interest in mind. A few days later I met with Jose and he took his time laying out the first design, which was incredible, but not exactly what my original concept was (I went down the tattoo rabbit hole). I set up an appointment to get ink down in a few weeks. The next day, I decided to go back to my original concept and sent Jose a text and he said “no problem, I am on it”. Day before tattoo- I was out of town the week prior so I haven’t seen the final outline yet and was very anxious. It was Jose’s day off, but he offered to meet with me that night when he got back to town to go over it with me, but as a person who values my time off I said we can wait until tomorrow. But the offer was genuine and very generous. Day of Tattoo- Jose nailed it- The design came out better then I could ever imagine. He took what I told him, put his artistic spin on it and bam. About 6 hrs latter I have a true piece of art on my arm. I enjoyed every minute, Jose is very professional, funny, and most important, a very talented artist. Thank you. I highly recommend Vicious Vanity Ink, and especially Jose. I will definitely be back.

Tattoo Artist: Zac Cap – Zachary Capodici Tattoo Piece: Realistic skull with an english mustache, monocle, and gentleman’s hat. Why I chose Zac Cap @ Vicious Vanity Inc.: I have been searching for an artist for the last 18 years off my life. This is something that is going to be on my body forever. I have seen a lot of friends fall victim to a “fast idea” with an “OK” artist. The results have always been less than desirable. I have spent a fair amount of time in different tattoo shops. This has given me the ability to have a list of “must-haves” when looking for an artist and a shop. I was willing to travel far and wide in order to find the right artist at the right shop. I knew I didn’t want a shop and/or artist that smoked, did drugs, or I felt that they would not be open long term (or even alive and/or in prison). I was blessed that I found MY artist only a 4 hour drive away. As you can imagine, this being my first tattoo, I had many reasons to be nervous and uneasy. Zac made me feel extremely at ease from our very first conversation where I let him know my vision and he gave his feedback. We discussed price and he ultimately decided to take me on as a client. Just know that he does not accept all, which to me, gives him that much more credibility. His pricing is beyond fair for his skill set. I would have gladly paid three times the amount for the same work if I knew it was going to come out like this. The Experience: The consultation was very friendly and informative. We went over ideas and different approaches to the design. He also informed me of the whole tattoo process. From beginning to end, including what I should expect to feel, how the healing process goes, and proper after care. I was able to tour his private studio inside Vicious Vanity Ink. This is by far the cleanest Tattoo establishment I have ever seen or even heard of. Let me rephrase that, THIS IS BY FAR THE CLEANEST ESTABLISHMENT I HAVE EVER BEEN, INCLUDING HOSPITALS! I would have no problem eating a piece of my food that fell on their floor. This sealed the deal for me. This would be my artist and this would be the location where my piece would happen. After scheduling and placing a small deposit (that was placed toward the overall price of the tattoo), it was my day. After driving 4 hours, I was ready to get the show on the road. Zac was equally excited as he is with all his pieces. We went over some last minute final design adjustments and commenced. Zac uses the latest technology to get your piece just right. From colors, angles, and proportions to where it will be located on your body. YOU ARE IN CHARGE THE WHOLE TIME. He makes sure you know this and that you are completely satisfied with all these aspects before the first drop of ink is applied. There was never a single moment where I felt rushed. I think Zac was an amazing first tattoo artist for me. He was plenty gentle and always made sure I was comfortable. We took breaks every hour (or whenever I needed to use the restroom, stretch, or eat/drink). I typically can’t sit still to save my life but Zac made it easy. He makes sure you have a movie you want to watch or music you want to listen to so that you can zone out. He also has pillows and blankets to ensure you are comfortable at all times. I can’t say enough about how surprised I am at the ease of the whole thing. I am glad I waited this long as I feel any other artist or studio would have been sub-par to this experience. Lastly – Zac uses the latest technology in inks, needles, and after tattoo care. It has made the healing process extremely easy and painless. I was so pleased with the whole thing that my wife got a tattoo the following day. We now have monthly standing appointments with Zac Cap at Vicious Vanity Ink so that we can continue getting tattooed by one of the BEST! Thank you Zac Cap and the staff at Vicious Vanity Ink for making the whole thing an amazing and unforgettable experience.

I haven’t even scheduled my appointment with an artist and can tell how professional and timely they are. They were so nice and efficient when I emailed them at later hours of the night (9:00- 11) I’m not sure who is in charge of replying to emails but thank you for responding so quickly. This tattoo is a very emotional and much needed one so it means a lot. If you’re considering getting a tattoo here and want a nice easy process please consider them! I went in for a coverup on my foot. My artist was polite. A week after my foot healed completely I noticed there was ALOT of missed areas that weren’t lined correctly. I contacted her and it would take days for her to reply and she would say well I don’t have any availability to have you come in. After about a month I CONTACTED her and asked if she can fit me in anyway or time she still said no I don’t have any availability. I waited another MONTH and reached out again and she wanted me to come in on times that weren’t accommodating to me I live an HOUR away! Finally 5 months later she said she could get me in I did confirm the appointment but wasn’t able to make it and contacted her and she said she isn’t taking anymore appointments this year because she’s on maternity leave. I would have appreciated her making me a priority on her messed up work and got me in a week after I came to see her. That’s bad business she didn’t even apologize or seem to care. Now I have to go to someone else and pay to have her work corrected. Update: After speaking with the owner and explaining it was the lack of urgency in correcting the tattoo and far In between responses back to me. The owner (Veronica) offered to correct my tattoo! I went I for my appointment and she was amazing as I expected. She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or out of place. She’s a great conversationalist and a visionary! She added to my tattoo and actually did a whole completely different tattoo for me! She’s an amazing woman and am beyond thankful for her professionalism and warm demeanor.

Priscilla did a great job fixing an old blurry tattoo on my back. She truly made it look new again. It was also nice that the shop was clean and modern. I am not a grunge/punk style person, so for me it can be intimidating going into those shops with dark walls and heavy metal music playing because I feel very out of place. I loved that this shop was bright, clean, and well decorated. It looked more like a salon than a tattoo shop. I will be back! UPDATE: Also recently got work done by Christina. She takes the time to truly learn her clients and works hard to make sure the artwork matches the client’s idea. Would recommend her as well.

Moving to Florida, I thought I’d have to go through some artists before I found the one I loved but I got lucky! A little back story: I had started a piece on my chest and neck in WA state. I had two sessions and was NOT happy with the work that was being done at all! This is where everyone could see and I was already disappointed. So, after the second session I stopped going. I knew we were moving to Florida so I decided to wait to get it finished until we got settled in our new home town. I walked into a couple shops but no way was I going to get any work done in them! Then I found Vicious Vanity Ink online. I loved all of the artists work online so I went in to check it out and possibly set up an appointment. The shop has such a great vibe, and it’s clean (nothing like the ones I walked into before finding this shop)! I set up and appointment with Pricilla and she has been fixing my chest and neck piece ever since! What a difference!! Let me tell ya, Pricilla will be my artist from now on! She does Amazing work! And while I’m getting my ink done, we are all talking and laughing, having a fun time. Go to Visious Vanity Ink if you want an AMAZING tattoo!

He took his time to really talk to me about how it all works and even showed me behind the scenes of the art that goes into tattoo pieces. I got exactly what I was wanting plus more the details in my tattoo are so realistic. I can see why he’s the top rated artist in Tampa bay. If I could give more then 5 stars I would! everyone is so sweet at the shop and very welcoming.

This is a serious art and process and Veronica does not fool around here. She recently did my wife's eyebrows. I was there throughout the process as I was waiting to be tattooed. She took her time, measured with her devices and gadgets until the eyebrows my wife wanted were perfect! Of course, the process does not start until you approve of the outline. The preparation takes longer than the actual process. My wife was over the top excited when Veronica was done!! As for her shop? Well, its more like a boutique. It's clean, classy and inviting. I’ve been searching for quite some time and have met with a few tattoo artists and just didn’t get that feeling I was looking for in the artist. I was referred to Veronica Dey by a friend. Unfortunately she was booked for weeks but she ensured me that Prescilla was very capable of doing the piece for me and my son who was visiting on military leave. At first I was hesitant because I heard so much about Veronica’s talent and I was set on her. Veronica gave me that feeling that her & her shop had good vibes and I liked her demeanor instantly. I trusted that I would be in good hands. I met with Prescilla same day and we set up a date. I exchanged a few emails about the piece that I wanted to do. She replied back quickly and professionally. The day came and Ms. Prescilla is very talented and a one of a kind. She was awesome and I definitely have found a new artist for all future work. Prescilla took her time drawing the piece and made some changes and overall she was very cool with my questions. The shop is very clean. There is a good vibe between the artists and it appears that they have a close working relationship with each other. I really like the fact that the shop is Monday - Friday 9 AM - 3:30 PM. Great work life balance for their families.

Had a great experience with Zac Cap here at VIcious Vanity Ink. The space was great (pretty new too I think) and so was he. We met for a consult a month or so prior to the tattoo, I told him what I was thinking and then sent him some ideas I had for inspiration. The day of the session we spent a couple of hours putting together what the piece would look like (he's got some pretty sweet design software that helps make this very fast and very hands on with him taking my opinions into account) and then spent the next 4-5 doing the actual tattooing. I found this shop by googling "female tattoo artist near me"...I don't have anything against men before I get hate mail Lol! With that said I had a tattoo that had been covered a couple times but never the way I wanted, or with as much "care" as I would've hoped for. These things are PERMANENT for cripes sake! Fast forward to 2 days ago and I had Prescilla for the job....she did amazing! I KNOW that with cover ups or re-works the artists don't get to be as free as they may like, ESPECIALLY when/if we give them size/color restrictions, but she did everything I asked and even took this tatt to a 're-work' instead of a cover up. That to me showed that she was more interested in the integrity of my skin AND in saving me from more future VERY painful touch ups. The wrist area is NO JOKE hahahaha!
