Sam was so awesome! She made me feel totally comfortable and didn't make me feel embarrassed that I was nervous (it was my first tattoo). She has such a calming presence and it made the experience so much less intimidating. I got a memorial tattoo for 2 of my pets who passed away and she made sure that everything was perfect and answered all my questions. The whole team made my husband and I feel welcome and like we were hanging out with friends we'd known for years. The shop was very clean! This was my first tattoo experience. Spencer was very patient with me because I initially wanted this done early last year. I told him what I wanted at that time and he remembered half a year later. The guy is a professional. I can't recommend him any higher. You want a Neo_traditional tattoo, Spencer is your guy.

I originally left this shop very mad after spending over 600 for 3 different tattoos. I wasn't really even willing to give him a chance to fix it. I just wanted to be mad that it wasn't perfect or done my way. Despite my attitude James still reached out to make sure I was alright and come up with a solution that left me feeling less like a walking mistake. I have 2 other tattoos from James that I love and I recommend him to everyone just don't get upset if it's not perfect let it heal and go back for a touch up

My daughter had a design her sister drew, which they were more than happy to size down and fit the area she wanted it placed. As they went they explained everything they were doing so my daughter, who has Autism, felt less anxious and was able to enjoy her first tattoo ‐ on her 18th birthday. The tattoo is the name of her service dog, she passed away in March, and it was really important to my daughter that it be perfect..... and it is!

This was my first experience being tattooed at remedy. Many people who have experienced tattoo culture in shops know how nerve racking it can be going to a new shop, not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of kindness, compassion and professionalism not only demonstrated by my tattoo artist but by the entire office staff. The atmosphere is comfortable, making it a safe place to relax and be yourself. I was tattooed by Duke, who I must say was over the top professional and went 100% out of his way to make sure I was pleased with my design and tattoo. Before my tattoo there were even some last minute design changes, and rather than make me feel bad about it, Duke embraced the change and did not make me feel my idea was insignificant. Not only is Duke a fabulous artist, but the other artists are just as fabulous. It was truly a breath of fresh air to be tattooed by such a humble man, and based off the interactions of the other patrons I would say they are definitely receiving the same hospitality as I have. My only regret is not coming to Remedy to be tattooed sooner! Thank you so much Duke, and Remedy Tattoo for making my ideas a beautiful work of art. Your artists display such amazing talent all while remaining humble and kind. Love this place. 20/10- would recommend to EVERYBODY!!

Lance was awesome! I gave him a very vague idea of what I wanted and he delivered far better than I could have imagined. It's not finished, but I'm impressed with his work. With online consultation scheduling, it was easy. Everyone I met was awesome. FYI: they are cash only, so be prepared with cash for a deposit and when you get the tattoo. Update: finished! It truly is a masterpiece.

I love this tattoo shop so much. Super clean, friendly and professional. I’m super glad I found Duke, by searching through hashtags on IG. I’ve gotten 4 tattoos from him so far and I love all of them! He exhibits amazing customer service. I haven’t had an artist who would show me the design a day or two before the appt to make sure I like it. He has always tweaked the design to my liking. It’s so refreshing to have an artist who does that! He is an amazing artist with a great rate and works exceptionally fast. My most recent tattoo was a piece that took up most of the side of my thigh, full color, and it took him around 4 hours. Pretty amazing if you ask me. I’m always getting compliments on my pieces and I always tell them how amazing Duke is. Duke - thanks for being so awesome! And Remedy - thanks for being such a great tattoo parlor!

I've have been to a few other tattoo shops, but this is by far the best one. I've never met tattoo artists that were so friendly and professional. I got my tattoo by Danie, who was AMAZINGGGG!! She is so talented, and super great to talk to. The vibe there was so cool, and I didn't feel like an outsider at all. If you get nervous about getting tattooed, or you get nervous in social situations (me hahaha) definitely come here.

Very great place to get a tattoo. They're straightforward and don't jerk you around. What I like the most is that they can get a lot done in the amount of time you have scheduled, I was able to get two pieces of artwork done in a 5 hour session. They do very fine work, and I like their willingness to work with you regardless of what kind of art piece you want to get done. I also like the environment, it's great to be surrounded by people who are passionate about tattoos.

I had a tattoo that I had done previously from another shop that ended up being a pretty low quality tattoo, I contacted Macoy who had tattooed me previously and asked him if he could fix it, he fixed it so easily and for such a good price, it looks amazing! The customer service was great and all the artists were all so welcoming. If you’re stressed about getting tattooed I recommend this shop because of its over all welcoming and friendly atmosphere it definitely put me at ease, not to mention the quality of work these guys create is beyond worth their rates!

I researched different parlor's and tattoo artists in my area for a of couple months before deciding to go here and choosing Fia for my first tattoo. The shop is clean and has a great setup with good vibes. I was extremely nervous about it being my 1st time and being alone-due to covid, but she was very patient and helped me feel at ease. She took my tattoo idea and created a beautiful masterpiece, using my original concept to create something that far exceeded my expectations. She is a gifted artist with the soft touch of an angel. She answered all my questions & explained the healing and aftercare with great detail. I am so happy that I chose wisely when picking this place. My work is healing wonderfully and I've received so many compliments already. I definitely recommend Remedy Tattoo (and Fia) to everyone who wants to get tattooed.

Lance did a great job with my two tats! I brought my own pillow for my head because I have neck problems and not only was Lance there to do a job he also made sure I was comfortable and got a second support for under my knees for my lower back! It didn't matter if I was there for 10 mins or 2 hours, my comfort was important to him and I felt that. I am grateful for his knowledge of not only ink, art, and aftercare but his ability to have compassion for his clients. Great shop, love the location, and the staff are very nice! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! I went in like others, for my first ink, and Trevor did an amazing job. They explained the process to me and even worked late to finish my art. If you want something done - this shop has excellent artists and are VERY - like OVERLY - clean. Seriously the best tattoo shop in slc Utah hands down! Right when you walk into the shop you will notice how clean and chill the vibe is. I love how open and bright the building is. Most tattoo shops I've been in it's pretty dark with screaming music blasting and it just give me anxiety. I'm already getting a tattoo and let's be honest it's not always the most pleasant feeling, but when the atmosphere is just chill, laid back, and bright it makes the tattoo experience a lot more enjoyable. Lance is my tattoo artist and he is seriously amazing! I tell him what I want and he and nails it every time. I love that he consults with me and makes sure it's exactly what I want before he begins. He actually listens to what I want rather than doing what he wants. If your looking for some fresh ink hit up remedy tattoo parlor you won't be disappointed!

What a fantastic tattoo shop. Absolutely one of the best ones I’ve been to in Salt Lake County. It is clean, bright, and has a great atmosphere amongst all the employees. The apprentices Sam and Arjay are so personable, they always greet you and are happy to help you out. Burdell has done many tattoos on both my arms and legs now, and I can’t say enough about him. He does solid work for a fair price. He is genuine and easy to work with concerning appointments. Definitely get tattooed by him if you are looking for a new twist on trad. Overall a fantastic shop that I’ll continue to go to for a long time.

I had Fia as my artist and she did absolutely phenomenal, there are not words to express how great she was even during moments of my grunting and pain, it may have been my most painful tattoo I have ever gotten but it is going to be by far the most memorable and for the best reasons. This kind of tattoo is something I’ve been wanting to get for a long time and deciding between the best style and base to go with was beyond worth it in the end, if I had to do it all over again for the incredible experience including the pain I definitely would. I would highly recommend Remedy to anyone looking to get a tattoo. There are not enough stars to give these guys or enough love I could show especially to Fia for how much I appreciate and loved it even the painful parts. Each moment of pleasure and pain from the tattoo kept reminding me how alive I really was and the experiences I’ve had in life lately especially during 2020 this meant a lot. Update: Since my intial review, I’ve gotten tattooed by Burdell, ArJay and Kyle as well. I’d recommend them and my main artist, Macoy, to anyone! I couldn’t be happier with the work I’ve gotten done here and the amazing people who do it. Still 5/5. Original review: I have SO much love for this shop, for Macoys work and everyone else at this shop! So much of it that I broke this review into parts. Artists: Macoy is the artist I go and see here, but I’ve booked with Burdell and am looking forward to getting work done by him as well! To be honest though, you can’t go wrong with anyone you book with here. Take one look at the art on any of the walls and you’ll know you’re in a shop with some of the most talented artists in Utah. It doesn’t matter what style of tattoos you like, you’ll find someone you’ll like at this shop guaranteed. I’ve been so blown away by how incredibly clean and precise Macoys work has been that I keep coming back to him and have had him do many, many tattoos on me. I think it says a lot about an artist when you follow them when they move shops and refer your friends over to them because you trust them and the quality of their work so much. I’ve had several tattoos done before I met Macoy and I’m truly ecstatic to have found an artist I really feel listens to me, does amazing work and busts his butt to make sure I’m happy with the work I’m getting. Macoy also has an incredibly light hand, so much so that I’ve never had any issues with bruising in areas that would normally bruise or scabbing, everything always heals effortlessly when he does it. In regard to the other artists I’ve interacted with here, everyone is extremely friendly no matter what artist you converse with! You’re not going to find anyone at this shop who isn’t a kind and caring person and from everything I’ve seen, everyone here is dedicated to being the best artists they can be and making sure everyone leaves happy with their work. The shop: When you walk in, you’re always greeted so friendly by whomever is behind the front desk area that day. The owners are both an absolute pleasure and I’m so happy to be able to have a conversation with them while I wait, you’re truly treated with kindness here. I’ve never dropped by and been left not talked to for more than a minute and to find such a welcoming environment right off the bat for a tattoo shop is incredible. The shop itself is clean, well lit and open. Every time I’ve dropped by to get work done, the floors are clean, everything is organized and you can see how sanitary everyone is. They really take cleanliness seriously here and you can tell the second you walk in. I’ve been tattooed at several shops and this is one of the most welcoming and clean that I’ve seen. All in all, my favorite shop in Utah period and I’ve been to several. So bummed I can only give this place five stars because I’d give them a billion!

Remedy tattoo was a choice made simply by looking at the reviews you are looking at right now! I was treated with respect and immediately felt comfortable. I spent eight hours with Burd and was consistently made to feel like I was what was important. Everything that was used on me was taken out of packages in front of me. In other words ,"sterile". The work done looks fantastic! Pricing was fair .I'll be back.. Thank you!
