Loved the tattoo design and artists work but the second time I came In, the position he put me in was unbearable and he could have adjusted. I could tell he and the artist next to him who kept shooting me looks thought (even though I’m covered in tattoos and gotten tattoos with him in the past) that I was in pain from the tattoo itself which was not the case. After 6 hours I asked for a third bathroom break and the artist got upset and didn’t finish all the shading and said we were done. He also used a lidocaine spray without telling me until I asked if that’s what he was using which I did not want applied. It was freezing in the shop too which made it far more uncomfortable. It would have been an amazing experience if they can get it together

Amazing tattoo experience. Jared was very friendly and professional. The place was clean, everyone wore masks and there was only one other couple in the building. The tattoo is still healing but looks pretty close to the design I made. Cost was also affordable, only $100, and I was in and out in less than an hour. Might get another tattoo and I will definitely be back here.

Zachary Bailey is such a talented, professional, and comforting artist. He just completed an absolutely beautiful black and gray 3 rose design on my sons forearm today. My daughter has already emailed to book her first tattoo with him. I would highly recommend anyone go to him for their tattoo. The shop is clean, fun, and really just provides an fantastic experience.

Been meaning to write this one - Happened upon this place with a friend of mine from out of town who I had been quarantining with in the wilderness back in October (Yes, we both got tested for COVID first!) She found Jared’s profile online and booked an appointment to get an original piece done. We both went, and the ambiance of the place was great - I was able to wait in there and both Jared and the receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!) were super sweet and fun. My friend loves her tattoo, and even though she’s back on the east coast now I know that when she comes back post-pandemic, New Rose will be a place she’ll want to visit again. When she was done getting hers, Jared was also able to squeeze me in for a small spur-of-the-moment piece for me as well. Thank you :)

This shop is excellent! The shop itself is clean and comfortable, but the best part is the people. While I was tattooed by Marena (who did an absolutely amazing job) all of the artists were friendly and talkative. Marena brought to life a tattoo that I had bouncing around my head for along time, covering up an unpleasant memory for me, replacing it with something that is nothing short of beautiful. I will definitely be back for more!

This is my first review I've done, but I love this place so much I had to let people know. I've gotten two pieces done by Jared. The first was basic lettering, but he did it so well that it had already fully healed in 48 hours. The second was a large landscape of mt hood which he took my vague vision and drew up something better than I would have imagined. It turned out great. The atmosphere is super welcoming even to first timers. Prices were more than reasonable. If I get anything else done then I'm coming back here.

When i see nice tattoos around i ask people were they got them. The name new rose kept popping up. I went in one day when i was having a bad day and thinking about getting a new tattoo. The staff was all really friendly and well chatted for about half an hour. The place is female owned and that's kinda cool but doesn't matter one way or the other to me. The owner is such a sweetheart and reccomend Zach to do my tattoo. I have a space on my arm i am seeing for him and once i get the tattoo I will update my review with photos and let you know about the experience.

Xavier Darling is an excellent artist, and person. I know I will be a repeat offender here. All the staff and artists were welcoming, easy to talk to and the shop is conformable and interesting! After my first session was over I received clear instruction of after care, as well as a healing balm and he was very accommodating for scheduling my next visit

I have wanted this tattoo for quite some time, a script that says "Let all you do be done in love" on my forearm, and I'm so in love with it. Carrie was so kind, helpful and very talented at her art, and the whole experience was lovely. I definitely will come back for my second tattoo, and I highly recommend Carrie!

My very first artist for my very first tattoo works here and he does an amazing job. He has a great range in styles and works of art that you could see two tattoos and wonder if that's really the same guy. He takes time to fully understand what you want to give you the best tattoo he can give. You'll never find a happier, more cheerful, more excited tattoo artist than Xavier Daring. The store itself has a wonderful, more earthy feel. The shop feels like it's there because it can be and it wants to be. It has such a cozy feeling with super nice people that it brings you back over and over again. I highly recommend New Rose Tattoo.

I met with Leslie back in May and gave her a general idea of what I wanted, then let her come up with the design. She came up with a geometric tiger with teals, blues, purples and green. It took about 7 hours over 3 sessions and was on my ribs. She did a wonderful job and wen above and beyond my expectations. Everyone there is super nice and helpful, I'm already planning my next tattoo! I definitely recommend this shop!

Had Ritah from Argentina complete my sister and I's matching tattoos. She did a phenomenal job but I was quoted 160 altogether...ended up being 160 each. So no matter how small the tattoo is, there is a minimum of $100, even if it's on your knuckle. Nice place but poor communication in pricing. If you go, make sure you are clear on the pricing before you get anything. I'm now broke because of the poor communication I was offered. I would have given them 5 stars but because of the miscommunication, they only get 4 stars...at least they're not like paramount tattoo

I love this place. It's comfortable. Doesn't feel like a "bro" shop. Feels welcoming to all people. Carrie did my tattoos and I love her work. But I'd feel comfortable with any of the artists here.

I'm not really one to write reviews, but this place is rave worthy. Professional, clean, chill vibe to the business and outrageously talented artists who support each other and their art. This particular nod is to Erica Kraner, who literally hours ago just finished a huge thigh piece I had been scheming up for years and after 4+ months has been completed. Her line work is on point, colors vibrant, and original vision brilliant - all demonstrated and showcased in her Instagram feed. I will definitely be visiting New Rose for my next ink adventure - Thanks Folks!

I would highly recommend New Rose to anyone. Mark Ledford did mine and did I wonderful job. This was my first tattoo, I was scared, and the staff helped keep me calm and told me what to expect and what to do after the tattoo was done. My tattoo is circular sheet music, the music is 'Don't stop Believe' by Journey, with a puppy pawprint in the middle. Everyone here was super friendly and helpful. I would gladly recommend anyone to go here.
