My boyfriend & I went there for walk-in ear piercings and had SUCH a great experience! Frank & Kat were super knowledgeable about piercings & helped me figure out one that would work good with my ear anatomy. They really took their time working with me and what I was looking for. Kat did my conch piercing and it looks so good! They were both so friendly & the place was very clean and professional. Great prices as well. Would definitely recommend!

If you're going to get a tattoo, there is no place like "Drop of Ink" in Mechanicsburg, Pa the entire staff is very professional. from the time I walked in the door I felt welcomed as if I was part of the family! And my twin Noah is absolutely PHENOMENAL! He is a really great artist, he helped me design what I wanted, we had great conversation and laughed throughout the entire process. He made sure I was comfortable and completely satisfied with my tattoo before I left he paid attention to every detail and made what I wanted come alive. Y'all! Let me tell you that Kat is very professional! She pierced my septum for me on August 1st. I brought my boyfriend along and unfortunately he had to wait in the lobby until I was done. I'm totally fine with that as it is their policy. Kat explained to me each and every step she was going to do and made sure I was calm because my anxiety was already going nuts. I can't wait to get back to the shop and get my other nostril done by Kat. She will be the only person I let pierce any part of my body from now on

By far the best tattoo experience I've ever had. Everyone in the shop made us feel very comfortable. Noah did an amazing job on my tattoo. It is beyond anything I could have imagined. I have had about 7 tattoo artist in my lifetime and let me tell you Drop Of Ink is the best. Liz did my tattoo and she was so professional. She did not talk down to me and she is a great tattoo artist. She treated me with respect. She talked with me about how the tattoo would look and she noticed when it started to hurt she would ask if I was ok. I only gave drop of ink 5 stars because that’s all I can give them. I would definitely give them more. If you want an excellent tattoo then go to drop of ink and ask for Liz or any of the artists they are all top notch.

I contacted Drop of Ink for a memorial tattoo. I was put in touch with Dust. After texting him what I had in mind, he created something. I showed up for my appointment and he showed me what he created. I loved it! I'm even more in love with it after it was tattooed. The shop had a great vibe to it. The other artists, who were there were great (even if I didn't have much interaction with them. They made me laugh). Pricing was very reasonable. I will definetly be going back and having Dust do some more work for me. :)

Between their shippensburg location and mechanicsburg location you will always have a nice chill environment to hang out in while getting your tattoo or piercing. I saw Dusty. He was amazing. What I loved most was his laid back attitude and kindness. I went for my first tattoo. I made jokes about how it wasn't as bad as I thought and he laughed right along with me- knowing I was nervous. It was out of my element but he made me feel so welcome. The only place I'll recommend for piercings. I recently got my nose pierced at another local shop and was experiencing an embedding issue. Stopped in at Drop of Ink & not only were they willing to take a look at it, they were able to fix the problem. (The other shop used too small of a piercing.) My last 2 tattoos were also done here & turned out great, so I recommend for tattoos as well.

I had went in to talk to the artist Dust a few days ago to get a tattoo. He was very flexible with my work schedule and came in earlier than his time frame to work with me on my tattoo. He’s very busy (as you can see with his incredible talent), however he got me in within 3 days! He was very relaxing and helped me calm down during my little anxiety feels. He talked to me throughout the whole tattoo and made me laugh throughout the entire tattoo. Everyone who was there was incredibly respectful and created great conversations. The atmosphere of the entire place was positive and very comfortable. Within my tattoo process I was unsure of size and placement and Dust was awesome and helped me in every way possible and gave me his opinions and suggestions. I will absolutely be referring people to Dust and to Drop of Ink in general. Incredibly satisfied to say the least!

I visited Drop Of Ink Tattoo for the first time on Friday. Although they were pretty busy and I did not have an appointment, the owner discussed what I wanted and asked one of the artists named Dust, to try to work me in. I didn’t wait very long at all and Dust worked up an image of what I wanted and it was perfect. He did my tattoo between his scheduled appointments and was polite and professional. Even though he was having a busy day, he did the extra work when he could have asked me to make an appointment and come back another time. I will definitely go back for more work and I highly recommend this shop and Dust in particular. But I will make an appointment next time!

Dust Deimler is the best ever. I have been getting piercings and tattoos since I was 13 I’m almost 26. Drop of ink was where I had my first tattoo at, at the age of 16 and even then they took pride in their work as well as their guidance to help me make the best tattoo decision possible. Dust has only pierced 4 things for me, but every time I have came in there he would bring to my attention how previous piercers did not do a good job and how he can correct it. He has always guided me and given me his suggestion as to what would be comfortable, safe, and heal the best when I came to him about getting a new piercing done. 15/10 I would recommend Dust and anyone at Drop of ink to take care of your piercing or tattoo needs.

I went into the shop as a walk-in yesterday to get my nostril hoop switched out to something a little smaller. Glenn explained that they didn’t have any of the correct hoop in stock, but he kindly gave me his business card and told me he would pick one up from the supply store on the way into the shop the next day. After communicating with Glenn via text the next morning, I went into the shop and he took care of me right away. He was thorough, made me feel very comfortable, and went above and beyond to make sure I got the jewelry changed correctly and safely! The shop has an awesome vibe to it while still being extremely clean, and the staff was very polite both days I went in. I definitely recommend Glenn and Drop of Ink, and will be going there for all of my future piercings and tattoos! Thanks guys!

He also knew I really wanted this tattoo on my arm, and was able to design and size it down enough that it fit well and will still look good down the road. My daughter went there to get a piercing and Frank was awesome. My daughter wanted a different piercing and he was honest and upfront about most ppl have problems with that type of piercing. Love this place! Friendly artists and the place was clean. My husband and I were tattoo virgins and we went in there for consultation. The team were accommodative and gave us all the info. As they had a cancellation on that day, they asked if we wanted to get the tattoo done on the same day itself. We decided to get it done and it is one of the best decisions of our lives. Steve Gentile was my artist for my Leo/Virgo tattoo on my forearm. I wish that I could post a picture of it because seeing it brings so much more value to my words so you can see for yourself the authenticity and pure power that my tattoo has. Steve single handedly took what I had drawn up 3 years ago... And turned it into this phenomenal masterpiece!! Words cannot express how deeply moved i was at how he transformed my original art into this amazing and brilliant work of art!! I sat back and watched Steve tattooing my arm.. And I could see his passion, his drive, his love and admiration for his talent for his artwork. I haven't ever in my life witnessed someone so deep into what they're doing as Steve. I have been struggling alot over the years with depression and CPTSD, It stole my ability to be able to find happiness in anything that I do. 😭 But when I seen the passion in Steve's eyes for his work... It made me realize that this entire time I simply need to apply all of my heart into what I'm doing, and I can find my own happiness again. 😭😭🥰🥰🥰 Steve Gentile did more than give me a new tattoo... and he wasn't even aware of it. He helped to heal a part of myself that I couldn't do on my own. Its so crazy because you don't ever stop to realize how much 1 person can come into your life and be that light that you needed the most. Steve is kind... Funny... Patient... And gentle with his touch while tattooing you. Definitely allow him to create a work of art on your skin!! 💯 I gotta give a special shout out too... to Annie Castiglia!! She is a wholesome and beautiful soul inside and out!! She and I had a brief but meaningful conversation and I am absolutely blessed to have met her and to be able to call her my friend!! 🥰 All in all... Drop of Ink is by far not your average tattoo shop!! As I stated before, there truly is an artist for all of your tattooing desires and dreams!! Dust was slammed with piercings when we arrived at 7:30pm. We were greeted immediately and filled out the paperwork. Although there was a wait, Dust was courteous and professional the entire time. Both my teens got their noses pierced and I couldn't be more impressed by how absolutely comfortable he made them both feel. I was having a ton of problems removing jewelry. The piercing was stuck and after a year and a half of trying to take it off myself, I finally sought out professional help. Everyone in the shop was friendly and happy to help. Took a few attempts to get the jewelry loose but everyone was gentle and talked through what they were doing the entire time. Service was exceptional, studio and practice were clean and efficient, and I am extremely happy with the results!

First time was for piercings with a few of my friends, Dust pierced us all, he was very up front and honest about the piercings we initially wanted telling us certain things that would or won’t work for our ears. I had Glenn who was the absolute nicest sweetest and coolest dude to be piercing my ears and he did a fantastic job! I came to the tattoo parlor today to get my lobes pierced, absolutely bomb experience! The owner was really nice and actually ended up being the one who did my piercing, everything was super sterile; he even left the earrings and needles and all on a small table all still wrapped in there packages where I could see them. For me the piercing really didn't hurt at all, he uses smaller needles so there's no blood either! It was a fantastic experience and if I ever need piercings again I know where I'm going :D (also the lobe earring choices are either a bar, or a small hoop with a circle on it, I went with the hoop which looks dope. He says it will only take 6 weeks to heal as well so there's also a fast recovery time)

Jamie was amazingly patient with our entire family. We visited "home" from NC over thanksgiving break and scheduled a butterfly behind my daughters ear and a grouping of hummingbird on my forearm. My family highly recommended drop of ink and the correspondence and professionalism were evident from 1st contact through the entire exp. During dessert the family discouraged the initial design and JAMIE was amazing, he texted me all morning before our scheduled appt. He offered reassurance in her changing to the fam tat. My husband baby brother and myself share. It was modified to compliment her beautiful runners frame, it looks elegant and she is modest and proud of her ink. I seriously couldn't be more excited and in love with my tattoo! I'd wanted it for years, but something had been missing in the tat that I couldn't put my finger on. I'd moved out here from Philly and didn't want to travel back for a tattoo so I started browsing local artists on FB. I saw Fagan Quinn's work and I realized his style of art had whatever it was I was looking for!
