Derek has done my nose and industrial piercing. He is really fun and also knows what he’s doing. He takes his time to make sure the placement is right and doesn’t mind answering questions. Also the prices are very reasonable and they have fairly priced jewelry as well. Definitely has a lot of experience and I will be going to him for all of my piercings and definitely recommend him to anyone!

I asked for this angel tattoo yesterday with my grandmother initials on it. Mark Vass did it for me. He was so cool, made sure i was comfortable, kept checkin in with me to make sure I was happy with what I was getting. I was nervous too because it was my first one! He also gave me the idea of putting the initials inside the cloud with the gradient colors on the lettering!!!! Go here you will not be disappointed!

I went in today to get my lobes and septum pierced. I did express that I was nervous about getting the septum done and he was super chill about explaining the pain level to me, which was nice. Kenny and his staff are hands down some of the best in the business. Not only because they are professional, great artist, and talented at the work they do. They are also words you wouldn't normally associate with a tat shop. They are kind and compassionate. The work they did for my wife, as she faced her last weeks of life battling brain cancer, was done with great care. Kenny was patient as he worked on her, giving her the care and quality of work he would someone that was going to display his work for years. I can't say enough how much it means to me that they were able to work her in and make her art come to life. Thank you!

Totally fell in love with this place. Went in to get my daughter a couple piercings filled put our paperwork and waited our turn. while we waited a Groupe of people came in and got vary upset that they wouldn't pierce a 13 year old without the proper credentials, and as they proceeded (calmly and politely) to tell them that it was against the law without the proper paperwork the people left and was not nice upon their exit. when it was our turn it took no time at all and was done properly and the shop was vary clean. I enjoyed the atmosphere and got to chat with them while we were there. they were vary knowledgeable about cleanliness. will return in the future for my next tattoo, can't wait!!!!!

The hall is my go to place for any tattoos or piercings! They got you covered from simple stuff like getting your child's (or your own) ears pierced, for a more sanitary and professional experience, to full back pieces. The guys are nice and honest. I always recommend that people I know come here. My husband just got "the pick of destiny" on Saturday and I am going to get another tat myself tomorrow!

Went on Saturday to get a piercing i had always wanted but was feeling particularly brave that day. Brian did it for me and made me feel super comfortable and was super quick about it. His prices are also amazing and I love that he doesn’t overcharge like lots of other shops do. I definitely was unsure about my new piercings right after i got them just because i was a bit impulsive, but a day later, i 100% love them. they look even and great! I got my nose piercing done by him several years ago and that too gave me no issues. Really recommend y’all see Brian!

My husband and I got very simple line tattoos for my birthday, but Marc Vass did an awesome job. I got a mom/daughter giraffe as well as "I love you" in elvish. My husband got "I know" in elvish. (Yes, this is a Starwars quote). When he found out the giraffe was for my daughter and that she chose the 1 to get, he involved her by asking heart color, placement, etc. He understood the meaning and it made her extactic to be included. Will be going back for more!

So this was my first time to a tattoo place in Oklahoma. And when I walked in I noticed the place was really clean and really organized. The girl at the front desk was very helpful, very friendly, very customer service oriented. She chatted with me until my piercer was ready. And I really appreciated that.I'm giving them a 4-star because of everything that I previously mentioned and the piercing was very affordable,but my piercer barely said two words to me besides get up on the table, and then lay back. I did mention to him that I had received a piercing before and that I would be repiercing in the same spot. He didn't offer any words of encouragement or conversation and did not tell me anything about after care at all. I guess he assumed because I had piercings already that I was all set but I've been having ear piercings and belly piercings for years I could have forgotten everything that I needed to do. And regardless of how many times you have pierced whatever part of your body, at the end of the day piercings hurt. A little words of encouragement would have been nice, but no such words from my piercer just a very clinical attitude. I think it's important to go through everything, each part each step with a new customer regardless unless they are possibly a repeat customer which I was not. If he is the only piercer they have I will probably go to a different studio for my next piercing because I just did not feel a welcomed feeling for my first time with him. Other than that it was okay.

I was having some kind of day and just wanted to get a spontaneous piercing. I called them and the whole thing probably took a grand total of 15 minutes. It looks great. The tools were clean. Everyone was super nice and the piercing and jewelry were very affordable. The piercing itself is healing nicely and I’ve had no issues with it. My only beef is they weren’t wearing masks and we’re in the middle of a pandemic.

Brother went in for a nose stud piercing. He said they were extremely organized,clean and fast. At first I though he just walked in found the wait time to long and walked out but he got in, peirced, nose stud in. All in like 5 minutes. Can't say for sure but it also seems like the use the hand needles rather then piercing guns so I can imagine faster healing and extremely reduced chances of swelling and future complications.

We happened upon this place by accident after sitting for well over an hour and a half at Pokes down the street just for 3 people ahead of us to get pierced. Let's start off by saying don't judge a book by it's cover, just because a place has nice fancy stuff and another has worn out furniture doesn't mean that it's not as good. We stepped in the door and got helped immediately, honestly we were slightly reluctant because it looked a little rough around the edges so to speak, but after we finished with our paperwork the front desk assistant told us to head back. We made our way back passed an old worn couch and around the counter passing open booths for tattoos to the very back to our piercer Brian. Now, Brian looks a little gloomy but he has a personableness that was unexpected. He made the jewelry selection super easy because he said in the beginning it should be basic and it's more important to get yourself healed, then you can put in the bling. He was quick and efficient and we were so pleased with the results. Price was extremely under what we were anticipating. We walked in thinking oh my goodness what did we get ourselves into and walked out extremely happy (15 minutes all together) and ready to be repeat customers after these new piercings heal.

I had my tongue pierced by Brian 2 days ago, and I am incredibly happy with it. Walking in the shop, the man at the front desk was very friendly and approachable while having me fill out my paperwork. As soon as I was done, Brian came out and looked over my paperwork and said that he would go set everything up and call me back. I know this is a little different than most places, but it eased my nerves not having to watch and listen to the needle and clamps being opened. Brian was very quick and to the point while doing the piercing, but was friendly and informative with the aftercare instructions. My piercing was over before I knew it, and I'm incredibly happy with the results. I would recommend getting any piercing done by Brian, and I will most likely have my piercings done by him if I get any in the future. I will be back in just over 2 weeks to get my tongue barbell changed out to a shorter one, which they do for free. Great shop, chill environment, and friendly staff.

So I went to get a finger tattoo about a week ago... and day two of having it and putting aquaphor on it and washing it (I have healed A tattoo before) it started to crack, like the ink literally is cracking off of my finger. I’m not sure what to do, so I’ve kept cleaning it and using the ointment. It looks blotchy and I’m very dissatisfied. If y’all are looking for a good piercer definitely go to Brian here, he is fantastic. But definitely wouldn’t recommend for tattoos. I will be going to skin vandals to get this fixed.

He has done over 10 on me and they all worked out perfectly. Anytime I need help with jewelry and aftercare he is super helpful and never charges me for help. Jesse has done over 15 tattoos on me and he was nice, professional, clean, and personable every time. By far my favorite shop in Norman.

First of all, I want to be absolutely clear that my review is NOT about the quality of work at Hall of Tattoos. Those guys can lay down some serious ink--especially the silver fox. That's why I'm sticking with 5 stars. If I didn't already have a regular artist, I would have no hesitation in letting just about any of them work on me (and I do have a small piece that I love from Mike NoTalent). HOWEVER: If you want a piercing, go on a day that BRIAN is there. They have another piercer early in the week, and he is a JACKASS. I am a teacher, and on the surface I look like it--most of my ink is where it can be covered with clothing. I stopped in to ask a question and he looked me up and down, VISIBLY judged me as being in the wrong place--his facial expression literally changed--, and treated me horribly. I was in a bit of shock because the guys here know me as a regular client of another shop nearby and have always treated me fabulously. Not this dude; he interrupted me, talked loudly to drown me out when I tried to reassert myself, and used a condescending tone. I'm nearly 34 years old and I felt like a misbehaving child as he spoke to me. I didn't even get my actual question answered, because he assumed he knew what I was asking and I gave up trying to have him listen to me. I'm not sure why they brought in this other guy when Brian is an excellent piercer and a very nice and patient man. When he pierced me, he answered all of my questions and was very considerate. Seriously, if you want pierced, show up late in the week and let Brian do it.

She did a lovely job at explaining how the everything, how everything is put together and works, and how the process will go. I have been trying to get a tattoo since I was 18 and I am 27. I have made many appointments at different tattoo places and when I found Hall of Tattoos they were the only ones that made me feel safe and at home there. Ashley is the only person I will let tattoo me. When I went to make my appointment and check the price she explained everything to me and never made me feel uneasy. The day I got my tattoo everyone could tell I was still nervous and the other tattoo artist talked to me to calm me down and the other customers were amazing and Ashley was just amazing. I just got some thing small but this was a big deal for me. I would never trust anyone but Hall of Tattoos to tattoo me. Thank guys can't wait to come get my next one! Thanks Ashley!

Went and saw Mike here, he worked with me to see that I got what I wanted. I'll def be back to see him again. 29 May 19: Mike is no longer at the shop, so I got tatted by Mark. He has such a light touch! And the detail work is fantastic - the picture just doesn't do it justice. I can't recommend him highly enough! 2 Aug 19: Mark completed my anchor set on my forearms. 8 Nov 19: went to Mark again for "spinster" on my knuckles. I was super nervous about the pain but he was excellent and, again, his light touch saved the day and the pain wasn't anything more or less than any other tattoo.

I went here for my first tattoo and had a superb experience. Initially I went to Main St. Tattoos next door, but they told me my idea was too difficult and that they'd have to charge me extra. So I told them I was going to "think about it" and walked out. I headed 2 doors down to Hall of Tattoos, signed in, showed them my picture (which they actually told me looked cool even if they didn't mean it) and set up an appointment. I'm terrible with names but the whole time I was getting my tattoo, the artist (a gentlemen with a grey beard and glasses) made me laugh- which was awesome considering I was getting it on my ribs (ouch!). Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend them to all of my friends and don't plan on going any where else.

I like everything about his place EXCEPT the fact they give skin divers instead of dermals. They're not as permanent and I've had mine replaced 3 or 4 times which sucks because it doesn't tickle. But they WILL replace them for free which is nice.
